I came here instead of facing another burger at a local hotel. The place is in a strip mall but it is nice and clean inside. I found the menu to have something for every taste and price level. I have had Thai across the world. This was up there. I had Gang Pha with shrimp hot. It was fresh ample and tasted great. The spice was nice and I might try extra hot with fresh chilies next time. The house made coconut ice cream for dessert was outstanding. My total bill was under $15.00. I found the service fast and friendly. No more free shrimp chips for dinner but I won't let that drop me coming back. This place is a winner.

I've only been here a few times with friends and all of the dishes we had were good. Friendly staff and easy parking. I think this brings the GR Metro area up to about 5 good thai restaurants... Not to bad for being in Michigan.

I love thai food and as a chef I usually make it at home but there are occasions where I try one of the many thai restaurants in the grand rapids area to take a break from cooking. Today I ventured to thai fusion for lunch. I was sat promptly and my food came out within 7mins of ordering. My portion was generous and very flavorful. The vegetarian fresh rolls were light and filling and very obviously made to order unlike some other restaurants I've tried. The peanut sauce was a perfect accompaniment. My ped was amazingly fresh as well with the perfect heat level for me at a "hot" level. My iced to was filled promptly when I was half way through and was complimentary to my meal. I've found a new favorite!

Service was good and food was delicious! A great little Thai place that we will definitely return to!

I'm on a quest to find the best Tom Yum in the Grand Rapids area. So far, this place has reached the top of my list of favorites. Came here mid-day on a weekend. It wasn't busy at all, only about two other people. Was greeted with a free basket of shrimp (prawn) chips, which I haven't ever had before and enjoyed trying. The decor looks a little bit like it came out of party city, but I didn't mind. Food came out ridiculously fast. They let you choose between a wide variety of spice levels for your meal. Being a wimp, I got mild with thin rice noodles and thinly sliced tofu, served in the largest size available in a hot pot, which kept it nice and evenly hot throughout the entire meal. It was massive, which was a good thing. The broth was absolutely excellent, not too salty or oily (a problem I often encounter with this particular dish) and overall just really, really great tasting. I only ate about half and enjoyed the rest for dinner the following night. Tasted just as awesome reheated. The entire meal totaled just under $9. I must also mention that the waitress was awesome. Very attentive without being in your face or annoying. I would definitely recommend this place, never would have expected it to be so good judging from the outside appearance.

Got hotel delivery using grubhub.com while in the city on business. Crab wontons were delicious and the masaman curry with chicken was very nice as well. I would definitely order from this restaurant again when visiting Grand Rapids. Went to the restaurant location the next day and dined in. It wasn't a fluke, the food is sooooo good. The owner came out to the table to check on us and was so nice. I love this restaurant. This place is a must for anyone who loves authentic Thai. A hidden jewel in Kentwood (Grand Rapids), Michigan.
(5)Sushma K.
I love this place. the pad thai and drunken noodles are amazing. the service is also prompt and efficient. the prices are reasonable. lovely place
(4)Tamir T.
Wonderful place. A great alternative to the chains in the area. Duck was a bit dry but the taste and the heat was spot on. Not surprised by the wait or the dryness of the duck. Typically if you want it moist it takes a long time. They sped it up. Oh well still will come back again in a heart beat. Would love to have a cocktail but what can you do. Good food good price.
(4)Ejla F.
Great food! Def coming back again. There are few Thai restaurants that I like in Grand Rapids but this one is in the top five.
(5)david W.
I had the Pad Curry at hot with shrimp and thai basil. *The spice level was a little under Rooster (Sirachi) sauce spice. I think I'll try the level 4 next time, as it wasn't hot enough to really slow me down. --- ...just a ramble *People in other posts have said that the spice level was crazy hot, I might have to disagree. I thought it was appropriately spiced for the levels they offer. At the other place on 44th, I've had to ask for a 13 when the rating is usually 1 - 10. Regionally I think west michigan might not be spice friendly. --- It was good. The portion was a little small for the price. Usually you can squeeze a meal and a half to two meals out of a thai take out box, here not so much. Definitely a good place to go, however I may like the one of 44th a tad bit better. If I'm on that side of town I would go there, if I wasn't I'd go to the other one. Something to check out though for sure.
(4)Lee C.
The food is perfect. I think the spice levels are on point also. I usually get medium spices. My favorites are simply the Pad Thai and there's a Red Curry dish that I like too. Love the people! --It's a great family business, they really work at getting to know their customers.
(5)Super D.
The steak salad was awsome. The portion was large, the meat tender and well spiced. I would definitely get it again next time. The Tom Yum was a little salty, but good. I got Thai hot for both, and it was spot on. Its in a strip mall, but clean and cute inside. All in all a good solid Thai place.
(4)Mindy N.
I had the tofu pad Thai with peanut sauce. I had been warned they don't mess around with spice, so I got the mild and wished I had went with medium. It was good pad Thai - the peanut sauce "fusion" was a nice change of pace. Overall, good and I would go again.
(3)Chris M.
Great experience on my first visit. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was very good. Try the crab rangoon with jalapeno. They're addictive. The Curry noodle was excellent. I said, "medium" when asked "how hot". Heat was a little more than i expected for "medium", but it was great. They like their heat here and they do it well!
(4)Jonathan M.
Our favorite Thai place in all of West Michigan! Great food and really good heat if you like it, or not if you don't like so much spice (such as my wife). Good service rounds out a wonderful dining experience.
(5)Margaret C.
Arrived close to 9:00 pm on a weeknight, was seated promptly and served fried shrimp chips, nice touch. Service was excellent, ordered tom ka with chicken and pad see ew with beef, both were fantastic. The food and service were top notch and if I ever go back to Grand Rapids I'll be stopping here for dinner!
(4)Elise T.
Man, I forget how spoiled I am living in Chicago. Yeah, not great. If you're used to really excellent Thai food made by people who probably hopped off a plane from Bangkok a few days ago, this place will disappoint. I specifically had the pad see eew, and found it excessively sweet (to the point of sickly, and the noodles weren't proper - it seemed like something you'd get at the local grocery store, rather than anything approaching hand made.
(3)Amanda B.
I've eaten here before and the food is great which is why I am severely disappointed in the fact that they can't answer their phones to take a delivery order. Don't advertise you deliver when you can't even pick up the phone!
(3)Rhonda D.
Great food here!! My husband isn't an any type of Asian food fan and he even loved it. I got the Pad Noodle with medium spice and it was amazing. It was spicy. It was epic. It was devoured. :)
(5)Helene L.
I've had better Pad thai elsewhere but we had a pretty good spread to share, including good appetizers of calamari and satay, a tasty fish dish, fried rice, curry rice, drunken noodle and fisherman's boat. The fr. rice is a bit on the wet side-order it and you'll know what I mean. I skipped the fisherman's boat so no comment on that but everything else was pretty flavorful. It's not Royal Thai cuisine, just so you know. Four stars for what it is, and the tasty thai food they serve. I did note that they used a noodle different from the steamed fresh noodles typically used in drunken noodle dishes I've had, but that dish was tasty so i wasn't left in want. The service was friendly and attentive. Order a thai iced coffee with extra cream!
(4)Casity K.
Best Thai food in Grand Rapids!!! Everything is authentic! This is the only Thai restaurant I go to. Nothing is better than papaya salad and curry ducks here then top it off with coconut ice cream!!!
(5)Sara F.
Great food and excellent service! Fresh spring rolls were some of the best I have ever had.
(5)Pranali A.
This is one of my favourite restaurants. Thai iced tea is awesome! Food is delicious and service is very good. Nice Ambience!
(4)Sunshine C.
I've been in Muskegon all week and couldn't wait to come to Grand Rapids because its a bigger town and I knew Thai food would be here. I asked the local hotel to recommend a place (I know I should have yelped it...) and they sent me here. The place is pretty modern on the inside, decorations are near and the lime green walls are interesting. I was a little leery when i looked at the menu and they didn't have Panang or mango with sticky rice (totally craving both right now) Food was okay. I had the fried chicken spring rolls, tum yum chicken - spicy, and spicy chicken pad see ewe. The noodles were good and the spice level was right on. (Not reserved with the spice level) the tum yum was not as tangy as I like it, but it wasn't bad... It was spicier than I thought... I would probably get it medium if I came back... Just so the spice level doesn't take away from the lemon grass. Other than that... It was good. If I lived here I would come back.
(3)Alex B.
Everything we had was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. I had Green Curry which I ordered spicy and it was, surprise, surprise, spicy. This is a good thing since most American Thai places don't really do spicy, just moderately hot. I subscribe to the "no pain, no gain" school of Thai food, It's always a good sign when the menu has a brief disclaimer that they aren't responsible if your order your food to spicy. It'd be nice is they got a liquor license so I could get a beer though.
(3)Emily F.
This is my favorite thai place in town. Their sauces and spices are wonderful and flavorful. I came here with my significant other and loved it. I wish that they had fried rice with crab meat or imitation crab meat, that's my kryptonite. But their shrimp fried rice is great too. Great service. I've now only been there to sit down a couple of times and one of the ladies recognizes me. They're great. Definitely a favorite.
(5)Tab B.
Recently visited thai fusion again. It reaffirmed our high rating before. We had their steak laab salad and peanut noodle dish. The steak laab is a meal by itself IMO. I could have just that and leave happy. The noodle dish with chicken and tofu was excellent too. We seldom eat out anymore because we find we can prepare better food at home. But we have no problem dining at thai fusion.
(5)Alice G.
The pad thai with chicken is the best in the area. Portions are large and service is very quick. Be prepared to order it milder than you normally would, they make it spicy.
(5)Brandon L.
I went here for the first time today. My favorite Thai place doesn't open until 4pm on Saturday and I wanted lunch. I ordered Pad Thai, mild and some spring rolls. Their Pad Thai is good, not great. I'm not at all unhappy with it, it's just not as good as the other place I frequent. I must give them credit, though. I ordered mild and it was slightly spicy. That's how it should be. Thai Fusion's spring rolls are good as well. Solid 4-star review. I won't hesitate to go back.

If I'm going to be 100% candid, I must admit that I did not come to this restaurant for two years because I thought it was going to be a complete disaster. I did. I prejudged the location and the fact that it was in a strip mall. Why? Because I was an idiot. While I can't justify giving this establishment anything over three stars, I do want you to know that it is a solid Thai restaurant that I will no doubt return to. My staple at a Thai joint is always the Shrimp Rolls, I feel they will tell you exactly what that restaurant has to offer. If they are from a GFS IQF zip bag then don't expect a lot. If they are hand-rolled and well made, you have found a keeper. Thai Fusion is definitely a keeper. I also tried the staple Pad Thai to test out their basics and their heat index. I went with a middle-ground Hot as to the spiciness and it was definitely hot. I couldn't finish it. In fact, half-way through the plate I could no longer leave it in my mouth long enough to chew the noodles. I ended up swallowing about ten mouthfuls of spicy noodle completely uncut... just so I didn't look like a nancy in front of my friends... Dang. While I did find the overall experience enjoyable, it needed more flavor development in the sauce and seasoning for the entrée. The noodles were cooked well and the beef had a good texture. The interior was really clean. The bright green accent walls added a lot of light and added a fun, vibrant atmosphere. The décor was simple and not over-done. It was also well kept. Such a good little joint for a neighborhood Thai spot.

Not sure if its the best Thai in Grand Rapids but it's certainly in the top tier. I picked up my meal of Beef Fried Rice (Hot) and Crab Wontons. The crab wontons were mostly cream cheese and that's fine by me. I prefer that places that don't use real crab don't put much crab in because I think it tastes wonky but that's just a personal preference. C'mon -- it's less than a dollar per wonton, you can't be expecting tons of Krab. The rice was great. A good portion (I wouldn't say anything obscene, probably on par with Thai Express and a little less than Bamboo and Bangkok Taste in Jenison). Mine was spiced hot. I like spicy food (I typically get a 4 on a scale of 5 or a 7-8 on a scale of 10). This was probably the edge of what I could comfortably enjoy. My recommendation is that if you're not begging people to go beyond their normal scale at other restaurants, to try Hot your first time and then adjust from there. It was warm, and tasty and filled all those Thai urges we all get. Highly recommend you give it a try.

Great Thai food. Well priced for dinner. Between $ 10:95 and $13 entrees. Had the happy trio, shrimp beef and pork. Large shrimp and all tasty. Can get at different spice levels and they had my medium just right. Also have great coconut ice cream . Been here twice. Dinner after 7 is a bit quiet. Lunch I hear is busy. Well worth it .

I'm always fearful of plazas. I never think, "wow, I bet that restaurant along the busy street in that plaza looks like a good spot to have lunch." However, I was with my coworker meeting a corporate account down the street and was in a rush to grab a bite before our 1:00PM. Driving down Broadmoor Avenue, my eyes were set on the words "Thai" as my stomach grumbled and we had a full hour to kill. Parking was easy and the entrance to Thai Fusion put our minds at ease. You never know what to expect in these little plazas. The restaurant was full of cute decor and actually decently sized, larger than it looked from the outside. Our lunches came with soup, which was delish, and I ordered the Pad See Ew- medium. I was glad I went with medium instead of hot... because it was HOT. Being back in Northern Michigan must have just completely ruined my tolerance for hot food. I normally adore it, but I found myself warm, my cheeks red and gasping for air half way through my noodles. Nevertheless, delicious. I miss good thai in my life. Bring on the hot.
(4)Laura M.
Underdone crab Rangoon and blah pad thai. Service was great but that doesn't make up mediocre food.
(2)Mischelle W.
This was a spontaneous decision for lunch and WOW were we impressed! I had the pad Thai w/curry sauce and chicken and my husband had Singapore noodle. The size of the dishes are very large, the food presented in a very nice way. The restaurant was clean too! Service was outstanding! And most importantly get the coconut ice cream!!!
(5)Lesley H.
I'm kind of obsessed with this place, and that says something, especially since they don't serve alcohol and I love having a cocktail when dinning out, I will say yes to going here any day. Start off with the "hot pot" of soup, we always get the Tom Yum, and even if you like spice (like we do), go for Mild. It's got plenty of kick. I have ordered the Masaman and the Pa Nang, the Pa Nang is my favorite. Not only is it delicious but you get so much food, which always leaves me with seconds. MmmmMmmmm!!! You also get shrimp chips with your order, which look like styrofoam chips - I've dipped them in my soup on occasion, but thats the only thing I don't LOVE here. They come with you meal, so no harm no foul. To sum it up, this place is terrific. Hey, Maybe I'll go tonight :)
(5)K S.
Co-workers and I decided to give this place a try. We went about 1230pm on a week day. Was a short wit about 5 min or so. Food came out fast. I always judge a place by its basil fried rice before I try any of their other menu items. This place had decent basil fried rice. I got the hot level and it wasnt too spicy but the flavor of the rice may have been better if i went with a level of spice lower. We will be back
(3)Jim B.
I have been to many Thai restaurants in my travels and this rates very high. The food was fresh and delicious, service excellent and the place was clean. Five stars if they served beer/wine. I will be back here again.
(4)Tiffany C.
Food tasted stale. Service was sub-par. I visited the restaurant on a late lunch from work (just before 3 pm), without checking the reviews first. I don't often write a review, unless I have an extraordinary experience, either good or bad, so I have to admit I'm a little surprised to see all the awesome reviews after eating there. My party of three walked in to an almost empty restaurant (only one other diner) and seated ourselves. We were greeted immediately - no problems there. We decided fairly quickly what we wanted to order. I did appreciate that all of the vegetarian and vegan-friendly options are clearly marked on the menu, as all 3 in our party were looking for vegan dishes. We ordered the veggie spring rolls, and then I placed my order for the veggie Pad Curry. The server then looked to my sister, who hesitated for maybe 5 seconds before the server asked if she needed more time to look over the menu (this is after we told her we were ready to order and didn't need more time..and we were the only customers waiting to order.) She was advised no, and then almost began to order again before the server AGAIN asked if she needed more time! It was seriously bizarre...it made me think maybe she had an urgent text message she needed to respond to back at the service counter or something. Both of my sisters then placed their orders, and we each made it clear that we wanted the dishes to be vegan. (All of the options we ordered were marked as vegetarian on the menu, but it also asks to specify if you want vegan, so we made sure to mention it.) The girl looked a little confused when we said it, but we figured she took note. After bringing our orders back to the kitchen, she came back about 5-10 minutes later and asked if the fresh rolls my sister ordered should have both tofu and pork in them, or just tofu. Which was good that she asked, but it makes you question if she understood what vegan means when we specified the first time, and doesn't give much confidence that she told the kitchen when she placed your order. I don't always expect everyone to know what that means or entails, so if I'm eating someplace more "average joe" I won't say vegan, I'll usually specify exactly what I want modified (I'll have the blah blah sandwich with no cheese, etc) But when you go someplace that has vegan friendly written on the menu, you have the expectation their staff will understand what it means. Anyway, on to the food...even though we came in just before lunch hours ended, we didn't place our order until about 5 minutes after 3, so we were given dinner prices instead of lunch. I thought the portions were OK for the price, but not great. The veggie spring rolls were delicious (it's hard to mess up fried won ton wrapper) although the portion was tiny for the price..you get two but there was hardly any filling inside them. However, my Pad Curry and rice clearly tasted stale. You know how if rice sits on a shelf it tends to take on the flavor or scent of whatever is around it? My entire dish was permeated with the taste of stale oil or just like...stale storage room or something. There definitely was something just off about it. If it wasn't for that I would have been fairly pleased, but I just can't get over that flavor. It makes you wonder how fresh the ingredients are when either the rice or the oil they are using has to have been sitting for a while to take on that taste. One of my sisters has been to their location in Rockford, and she said that location was much better. The food tasted fresher, they had the option of brown rice with your meal instead of white rice, and overall everything just tasted better. I would not go back to this location again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. I love authentic Thai food, but I enjoyed my meal at Noodles and Company last week more than this food.
(2)Jason N.
Have had lunch here twice for business and can't complain, the food and service is really good!
(5)Ron T.
The only reason I came here was because of the many positive reviews on Yelp. Unfortunately, the service really distracted from the food. Went into the restaurant for lunch and Waited a full hour for something that takes about five minutes in the wok. Food was extremely hot even though ordered mine mild. Ordered an order of crab Rangoon and it is described as crab and cream cheese but our had NO CRAB at all, just cream cheese. When my Pad Thai came it was almost inedible -- just plain too hot. Not saying I won't give it another try but I am wary.

Favorite Thai Restaurant in Grand Rapids HANDS DOWN. This is a family owned business and it's certainly a welcoming one! Little tip: This place is usually busy during lunch and dies down during dinner time. So it may be a bit hectic if you go during lunch, but no worries! The servers here are pros! Actually during a full house I think I saw 1-2 servers and a lady going around for water refills. And they never fail to ask how everything is going and if we need anything else :) Not too piercing but attentive service! The spice levels here are the best I think. But I do eat things a bit spicier and I will never go above medium! Medium is perfect. The food here is always to my liking because it's not too sweet and not too salty. My staples here are Pad Thai Tofu/Chicken/Scallop or the Curry. I actually never really like Curry (Japanese/Indian/Korean) however I have just found out that Thai Curry is totally different and I'm in love! :) Definitely give this place a try if you're near 28th street (East side) or by woodland mall! You won't be disappointed!
(5)Anuj M.
Awesome food. Best tasting Thai food in the town hands down. Masaman curry is my all time favourite . Thai Ice Tea is a must have!
(4)Heather J.
First experience of Thai food and I love it. A friend recommended this place and we all went in a large group. The wait staff is very friendly and able to keep track of our orders even though we have a lot of people with food allergies. I do not like spicy food and I was able to get almost every meal without any spice, but if you are opposite of me and you love spice, they have five levels that go as high as fire! They also have a Thai Food Challenge that I would not recommend participating in unless you like extremely spicy food. The restaurant provides a casual atmosphere for people to sit down and enjoy a meal with friends or family.
(4)Chris D.
Great food, good service, affordable price. I hit this place for carry out and was pretty happy. Coming from the SF bay area I was concerned about being able to find good ethnic food but there are some great places around grand rapids. Thai fusions food is delicious but I dont feel like its quite as authentic as I am used to (hence the 4 stars). Going to try the place on Kzoo road next.
(4)Haeri J.
Was introduced here by my cousin, because I love Pad Thai. Came in on Tuesday around 1 pm for lunch and this place was packed! I think they had 1 server and 1 other person bussing probably about... 10+ tables. Our server was an asian lady and she was very prompt about getting my table drinks as well as taking our order! I ordered the crispy egg rolls as an appetizer and it was pretty good, nothing too special about it but still delicious. I also ordered the Chicken Pad Thai with "Spicy" Spiciness (haha) and it was a bit too hot for me! I'd say on a scale of 1-10 it was more a 6. By the time I was "finished" I had probably more than half my plate left! Really big portions. Overall, I recommend this place! Really quick and clean service (Friendly too!) and bit portions for their Pad Thais :) Just be aware of not ordering something too spicy!
(5)Peter S.
This was my third visit. I would still describe the food as pretty good. Accuracy of order less so. When I informed the waiter that my ginger dish had no fresh ginger, he first said that "ginger" refers to the sauce. We looked at the menu together and then he had to admit that it is supposed to have pieces of ginger in the food. He took it to be remedied, brought it back from the kitchen, and nothing was changed! The lunch special is an ok price. However, a dish not on the special is over-priced for the portion size. There is no chili visible in the dish, which causes me to wonder whether a liquid emulsion is used for heat. Place was clean and service otherwise good.
(3)Erwin N.
Friendly, timely service. Nice music. Quiet. Good food (spicy!). I highly recommend the Pa Nang Curry! Coconut with Fried Banana! Satisfied. That's it. Ok. Bye.
(5)Ivy C.
Boy is this place busy for lunch. I'm traveling on business and was looking for some thai food for lunch. This place is great. The interior is nice, service is great, and mostly importantly the food is delicious. Thai fusion does not skimp on the heat level. If you ask for hot, you'll receive hot. I was sad that they ran out of Thai iced tea but it gave me a chance to try the thai iced coffee. It's sweet but not overwhelming sweet. The spring rolls weren't heavy or drowned in oil and crispy. The tom yum tofu's broth was tasty and lemongrassy. I asked for hot and it was. I also asked for the drunken noodles to be hot and it was so good. It seems like the locals love it here and this traveler does too!
(4)Alex P.
Great food and very nice service. Tried the crab wontons, but they were a little stale on the tips and hard to chew, with sauce that's almost too sweet. The chicken pad Thai was much better, especially with the "fusion" peanut sauce. Coconut ice cream with fried bananas was also worth trying, thanks other reviewers.
(4)Patti A.
This is our favorite Thai place in GR. The drunken noodles and pad Thai are two of our favorites. Keep in mind they mean "hot" when you spice it up. I love spicy food but here I stay on the medium side. Today I ordered the fusion fried rice(peas, carrots, onions, tomatoes, garlic, bacon, Thai spices and cilantro) and my hubby got the masaman curry (potatoes, nuts, onions, peas and carrots with your choice of protein)
(5)Mark D.
Weekday evening visit, 2 other tables seated. No wait, sit wherever you want. We ordered family style for our party of 4 (3 of my kids ages 13-20 and I). The service was unconventional at best. We requested their wonton kickers for an appetizer--even ordered these before our entrees or soup--but these were delivered after they brought us our 2 orders of pad thai. The pad thai, as others have noted, is smaller than expected and lacking color or flavor. My 13 and 16 year olds liked it. Yes you can add crushed red pepper dust or oil (if you can find a container on one of the tables in the restaurant that has more than the dregs of whatever leftover ancient goo from the last decade) but this is a poor substitute for thai flavoring. The soup was supposed to be a tom kha gai but they brought out the tom yum gai instead. This was the spiciest food they served. We ordered it all medium but there was no consistency to the heat. The wontons arrived with their fluorescent red sweet sauce and unfortunately they arrived with a hatching of Drosophila sp. that rivaled an experience I had trout fishing on the Au Sable with mosquitos. It was sadly comical as we were relegated to clapping them out of the air. The onslaught ended when they took away the red goo. I liked the wontons, other than the accompaniments, and my son humming "I know an old lady who swallowed a fly." The gang gai red curry was ok, also skimpy. After that was gone, the kids were still hungry and they asked for another order of pad thai. Poor judgement I suppose, but it was passable. Nobody got sick.

Best Thai food I've had in GR! They serve a real spice level here that isn't for the weak, so be cautious! It isn't a westernized version of spice, so try a weaker level than what you think you'd want. I love very spicy food, and the hottest level is even a little too hot for me! They do have options for those of you who don't like spice as well, just make sure you communicate it to your server. My favorite thing on the menu is the Three's Company- spiced shrimp, beef, and pork with vegetables. It tastes really good with a hot spice level and comes with a decent amount of steamed rice. I always end my meal with coconut ice cream that looks absolutely adorable and tastes just as sweet. It is some of the better more traditional ice creams I've had at a restaurant :) There are a lot of great options to eat here. It'll be a good meal if you ever want any Thai food in the Broadmoor and 28th area.
(4)Andy U.
I decided to try out this restaurants due to its high reviews here on Yelp. The food was pretty good, (I had the peanut noodle dish) but the portions were a little on the small size for the price of the dishes. I gave it a low star rating due to its service. I never got a water refill even though my glass was empty after being there for 10 minutes. Also, it took almost 20 minutes from the time that I finished eating to the time that I got my check. The restaurant was not that full and there were two waitresses working the floor.

Oooohhhhh, Thai Fusion :) I still remember the Curry Steak I ordered. It was nicely spiced and seasoned. Try it :)

Pretty awesome Thai place. I am not a Thai food expert but I like good food and this place has it! There is a large selection on the menu and you get to choose your spice level and protein. I stepped it up to Hot and that is probably as hot as I will go. Service was fast, the restaurant was clean and the staff is friendly. This place is in a strip mall and does not look like anything special but the food is. If you like Thai stop in and give them a try. If you have not had Thai stop in and give them a try.

I work close to Thai Fusion, so I found myself trying to come here often for easy Thai takeout. My first two experiences were good. The red curry was pretty tasty and the service was great. However, I have since found myself waiting 10+ minutes longer for my food than the time they gave me on the phone. Also, the food isn't always consistent. Sometimes the vegan red curry is great, sometimes it's flavorless. My boyfriend got the vegan Pad Thai and it hardly had any flavor at all. Also, the takeout portions haven't been worth what I pay for them. I really wish I loved this place since it's so close and convenient, but I haven't found myself wanting to come back.

My girlfriend and I love this place. The food is always good and the service is perfect. I am a big fan of their fried rice, with chicken. I always had some Thai basil and some peanut sauce to it. She usually gets the drunken noodle with pork. Be careful, their spice is extreme. We always get mild, which is the lowest, and it's the perfect amount. The place has very bright colors inside and seems to be about half full every time we go with a steady amount of to go orders being picked up. We've been to a few different Thai restaurants around Grand Rapids and this is our go to restaurant. The little guava candies they give with the bill are amazing. This place even has a sticker on their door that says "Yelp reviewers love us".

I ordered Pad Thai. But I was a bit disappointed in the portion size and also there was nothing green it. Like pea pods or broccoli. I'm used to the Thai woman that came into my job and we'd buy her Thai food. I also know that hot Thai or hot American style are two different things. I ordered very hot and, well, I could barely eat it. I ordered a bowl of white rice to help. Lol I don't advise ordering fire. O.O

Second time trying Thai Fusion. The first time I made the mistake of ordering the hot option and boy, was it hot. I usually always get a 7 or 8 on the spicy scale anywhere else, but here no way. This time I got a medium and it was much better. I always get the tofu and it is okay, but I prefer Angel's tofu. I think price and portion size are a little disappointing, but overall the flavor is fantastic. I definitely would recommend ordering about 30 minutes before you plan to get it between the hours of 11 and 2, it is packed. Overall great place that I will try in the future.

I enjoy this Thai restaurant. It was empty on Tuesday night. God red curry. Fresh vegetables cooked right, plenty of chicken and spiced just righ. They have a good house made coconut ice cream . Service was ok. They always assume I do not want desert and fail to sell it. Ashamed that happens. Will return.
(4)Amanda L.
Great place! I've been here several times for lunch. I always get the Pad Thai mild spice because they don't mess around with the heat level here. They will ratchet it up if you want that! Lunch gets busy so if you come at that time, try to come early or late; otherwise it's hard to get a spot. I've never had an issue with dinner though. Service is good. They are responsive to the lunch crowd and get you in and out in a hurry, even with a big group. Cute decor: I love the bright colors!

I'm not a fan of Pad Thai....... There are 2 places in the USA that has awesome Pad Thai though. Eagle Thai in Portland, OR (now closed) Thai Fusion Broadmoor location. I have eaten here dozens of times now, and can say everything on the menu is over-the-top-awesome. Ambiance of the restaurant is very clean, but kind of boring. The food makes up for that though. Even my picky-eater kids jump for joy when we mention that we are going here. DO NOT GO AT 12:00. You won't be able to even get in the door. If I go for lunch, I'll make sure to be there as close to the 11:00 opening time as possible. The place will be packed by the time I leave. It seems dinner isn't very busy normally. My only disappointment is that there isn't a steak type dish that isn't stir-fry. And I with they had the Thai Chillis in the fish sauce for a condiment that I'm used to in the Thai places on the west coast. If you are a fan of Thai Food, this place will be at the top of your list. If you live near Grand Rapids, you will be pissed that you haven't been eating here for years.
(5)Joshua S.
This is one of our favorite places in town, definitely in the running for best Thai food in town. When we come in we always see a familiar face greeting us, the service is always quick, I've yet to order something that wasn't amazing.

Decor is very appealing and tastefully done. Interesting to view right not gaudy. Went for dinner on a Thursday night around 6 pm. Order appetizer sample. Good presentation especially with the mini hibachi to broil our pineapple chucks. The apps were good but not sensational as they were rather ordinary version of stable fares: spring rolls, satay, fried wonton and fried tofu cubes. All prepared well but lack any zing. The main entrees on the other hand were full of flavor and good sized portions. I had the peanut curry chicken dish with wide noodles. My wife had the Bangkok noodle dish with pork. Both order with medium spice and they were spot on in terms that it had some punch but the flavors shine through. I did order the jasmine tea which was unique, refreshing and plenty of refills. My only reason for 4 stars is that although the service was cheerful and helpful, they were a few time lags and non checking back on time that needs to be addressed. Definitely will go back to try other dishes.
(4)Bill S.
The food is very good and portion size is great. If your not into your food being too spicy be careful in ordering, it can quickly get too spicy. Service has always been pretty good and food comes out quick.

This place was so good! Started with the Chai Tea with milk and I highly recommend it. It was similar to Starbucks Chai Tea Latte only cold, could also compare the taste, not texture to a milk shake - good for spicy food! The soup that came with lunch was like egg drop on steroids! It had a wonderfully clear, but thick broth and just a little kick (spice). I had the fried rice with pork and the waitress warned us off of medium so I went low heat. It had some nice heat that crept up on you, but I could have gone medium. We are visiting and loved it so much we will try to go back tomorrow for dinner. We literally stumbled upon this place since it is close to our hotel. Sometimes dumb luck is the best.

If it's your first time here, I would recommend ordering your spice level one down. I always order extra hot at Thai restaurants. However, here the extra hot was by far the spiciest I've ever had and made my nose run. I still ate it though, because it was delicious. I ordered the ginger dish with beef and my boyfriend ordered the masaman. I ended up eating the rest of his later because it was too hot for him to handle, and both dishes were very good. I loved that the masaman wasn't overly sweet. Some places over-do it for me with the coconut milk or peanut sauce and I end up never ordering it again. Not in this case though. I also really like the pan fried green beans. Reminds me a lot of Chinese and Korean dishes I grew up with. Good prices, good portions, good service. More at my GR food blog: justagrainofsalt.wordpre…

This place exceeded my expectations for sure. Will seek Thai Fusion out the next time in GR. Service was good-Meal was great-clean and comfortable!

Located in the strip mall at the SW corner of 28th & East Beltline, this place is easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Good Thai and "Thai like" entrees. Reasonably priced. Try the coconut ice cream for desert!

I love good Thai and have tried Thai restaurants in many cities in a variety of states. Our food at this small restaurant was one of the best Thai meals I've had yet. The seating are is fairly casual but with an elegant touch in decor and serving dishes. Every dinner comes with a basket of shrimp chips, which were nice but not too filling. The fresh spring rolls we ordered as an appetizer were fantastic, offering a fresh and crisp taste in a soft package. Entering the front door you see an article about the very spicy food. Keeping that in mind, we ordered our main dishes in hot (they have two more levels above). I like my food to have a good spice but not leave my mouth burning five bites into the dish. The "Hot" level of spice was perfect. My sister enjoys a bit more spice, and would recommend "Extra Hot". Feel free to try their hottest "Fire" level of spice if you are brave. The vegetables in the dish were crisp and flavorful, as you would expect in vegetables freshly picked. With dinner entrees ranging from around $9-$15 (as of Oct 2011) and lunch entree options starting around $7, you not only enjoy a fantastic meal, but your wallet will leave a bit more full as well. As far as service, our server was pleasant, and stopped by often enough to take care of our needs. Overall, this was our favorite meal while visiting the Grand Rapids area, and I would certainly dine there again if I were to visit the area.

If you follow my reviews, you know I have yet to meet a pad thai I didn't like. However, at this locale it's the pad si iew that really stands out. Probably the best I've ever had. It was almost a cross between a lad nar and a pad si iew which is all good in my book. I say that because the gravy wasn't seared on like you usually get. The reviews are right in that the medium heat on my pad thai definitely had a kick. Any more and I wouldn't have been able to eat it but my husband thought it was just right. The sampler platter was great but the grilled pineapple was kind of silly, especially since ours didn't light even after they brought us new little grill. I liked the peanut sauce in addition to the soy and sweet and sour for dipping. Portion sizes are plenty big. Service is friendly but they bring everyone's entree out seperately and that's not cool. But they refilled my soda a half dozen times and the place has a cheerful contempory and bright atmosphere. We had a group of 8 with kids and we weren't the only ones. All and all a great place for a big family on a Saturday night to eat till they are stuffed, have left-overs and get a nice meal for about $150.

Food at Thai Fusion is just great. Very tasty and well prepared. Had sampler and Pad Thai medium hot for dinner and it was very very good. Service is good and tables are clean.w'll be back!

I went to Thai fusion for lunch. I would say that the food was decent but did not find it exceptional. The portion sizes for lunch are on the smaller side, but I prefer this to piling on food. At the end of lunch I felt satisfied and not overstuffed. The one thing that I absolutely didn't like was the Thai iced tea. I've had Thai iced many times over here in the US and on a visit to Thailand, but this one was completely strange to me -- the taste, the look, the everything -- and it also upset my stomach. I didn't manage to finish it. I would try Thai Fusion again, but sans the Thai iced tea.

This has become our favorite Thai restaurant. There is currently a lot of competition for Thai restaurants - since Thai seems to be the "in" thing right now. The food here is excellent. It is an interesting combination and balance of flavors. Just so you know where I'm coming from: most Thaifood is a little too sweet for my palate. Somehow, Thai Fusion gets the balance of flavors right (at least for me)! Everything I have had from their menu was very good. Be sure to try the soup. The service also was good.
(5)Talal B.
Excellent food, the interior could use more character, but I love the fact that they DON'T give out idiot sticks (chopsticks)
(4)Robert K.
Food is good! However the portions are very small for the price you pay.

Enjoyed my experience at Thai Fusion service staff was extremely nice and the food even better. I liked the iced tea but i guess everyone has different tastes. It is located a little out of the way for me but if I am in the area I would definitly return.

(4)Peter S.
Satisfied. That's it. Ok. Bye.
(5)Tom S.
(5)El P.
I've only been here a few times with friends and all of the dishes we had were good. Friendly staff and easy parking. I think this brings the GR Metro area up to about 5 good thai restaurants... Not to bad for being in Michigan.
(4)Alyssa J.
(5)Stephanie P.
Service was good and food was delicious! A great little Thai place that we will definitely return to!
(5)Elise T.

Underdone crab Rangoon and blah pad thai. Service was great but that doesn't make up mediocre food.

I have been to many Thai restaurants in my travels and this rates very high. The food was fresh and delicious, service excellent and the place was clean. Five stars if they served beer/wine. I will be back here again.

I love this place. the pad thai and drunken noodles are amazing. the service is also prompt and efficient. the prices are reasonable. lovely place

(5)Jason N.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. Thai iced tea is awesome! Food is delicious and service is very good. Nice Ambience!

(4)Joshua S.
This is one of our favorite places in town, definitely in the running for best Thai food in town. When we come in we always see a familiar face greeting us, the service is always quick, I've yet to order something that wasn't amazing.
(5)JD G.
(4)Angela R.
(5)Jaap R.
Food at Thai Fusion is just great. Very tasty and well prepared. Had sampler and Pad Thai medium hot for dinner and it was very very good. Service is good and tables are clean.w'll be back!
(5)L L.
