One of the best breakfast in town! Old school 70's Midwest style diner, but cleaned immaculately like new. Owner is always around and will hang out and get to know you! Chefs have worked here for average of 15 years so they know what they are doing back there! CASH ONLY, has ATM though. Amazing food!

Nice smallish family restaurant - WARNING - CASH ONLY -- although they do have an ATM. Friendly service, good quality, very much enjoyed mushroom cheese omelette with optional sausage gravy on top. Visited on a Friday morning, in town for business. Would go again with no hesitation.

Been here a couple times-usually on a Sunday morning during visits to the Kalamazoo area. The breakfast food is consistent and tasty. I have ordered omelets as well as the traditional bacon and eggs and all has been served promptly (warm and delicious). They don't take plastic so come prepared with cash-it will be worth the effort. There are a multitude of choices for not only breakfast, however I must admit I have only been here for breakfast. They have been in business for over 19 years so they are doing the right things. I will return-easily and update this review as I always do should things change upon future visits,

It was terrible Becca the waitress was fake she only cares about your tip,,The Owners brother Kevin the cook got hurt while moving a sleeper sofa outside of work but they said it was workmans comp which is fraud ,,Lisa the cook always talks about how Obama the great is doing as our president and she puts her leg on the counter where they cook , then there is charmaine, cook, waitress, dishwasher she is strung out on meth she even will get naked in the kitchen for the other cooks to look at ,hell she even gave one of them a bj by the dumpster also Justin hes gay as hell his marriage and kid is a cover up search his name the name will come up as a sex predator. The head chef makes some nasty stuff he will even serve it 2 weeks after it was cooked he keeps rolling it in the new batch

This place is cash only, which was a suprise to us when we sat down and saw the sign on the table. A sign on the door would have been nice. My boyfriend and I ordered omelettes. What came out was this sad flattened egg patty simply folded over a handful of drab vegetables coated in a nuclear yellow melty "cheese". It was basically impossible to eat and the "cheese" was very gross and overwhelming... And I love cheese. Prices we felt were very expensive for what we got. 8$ for an omelette and hashbrowns? No thanks. 3$ for a side of two sausage links? Nope. We'll be heading for the Cracker Barrel down the street, where you can get your moneys worth of good food.

Great greasy spoon type place. Breakfast is the best. They have coffee out in the waiting room as you wait for your table.

The staff is friendly, but with all the excellent breakfast places in Kalamazoo, this one is sub-par. They don't accept credit cards, so be sure to have cash on hand. The two omelets we ordered took about 35 minutes. I thought they had to run next store to buy eggs or something. The portions were small and my coffee ran out with no refills. I would recommed East Egg or Sophias.

Way better than most Mom & Pops. Early travel morning from CLT to get to Kzoo meant no time for breakfast. I asked the young lady @ the front desk of the TownePlace Suites where she goes to get breakfast - she sent me to Larue's. I'm glad she did. Had the Western Omelet with fruit and toast and a really descent cup of coffee. The omelet was near perfect, the fruit was better than any assortment I'd ever gotten at a mom and pops. Friendly service, great people filling the booths. Break from the big chains for breakfast and have a go at Larue's, when you're in town.

This was my favorite breakfast place growing up. They had the best pancakes and everything else was amazing. great friendly service and the coffee was always fresh. When I visit Michigan I make a point to stop in to this place to grab breakfast if I can. I hope it never closes.

Good place for breakfast or lunch. The first couple of times we came here, which was maybe a year ago, the quantity of food you got was amazing and it was delicious - specifically the seafood omelet and the ham&cheese omelet! We went back about a month ago and ordered the seafood omelet again, but it's not filled with all the goodness it used to be. I'm sure they've had to cut costs...it's still good though and their prices are still good. FYI: This place is cash only, but they have an ATM on-site.

This was my Fav. place to go for the last 10 years. Dave is a great guy and his food and service are top notch. I have moved to Fl and have not found anything that compares. My Mom and I would go in there at least once a week, if not more. Can't wait to go back for a visit.
