While visiting family they treated my husband and I to their Sunday brunch. The price of the all you can eat brunch is $20 a per - which is a STEAL! It comes with a mimosa too! The fair is all you can eat but by no means your traditional "buffet" food. They offer everything from fresh pasta salad to baked cod. You can view their menu to see all that's available - too much to list. All of it is fresh and tasted homemade, full of elevated flavors. Really, really nice - in my hometown of Memphis such Sunday Brunches run close to $40. The ambiance is really nice, I felt bad that my son at 8 months old was being very talkative and was worried he disturbed other guests...if we ever visit again I will want to go back here and will arrange childcare next go round. The service was excellent, our coffee and water cups stayed full and clean plates removed with a smile. This place was amazing and from our experience we can see why they are award winning!

Best. Brunch. Ever. If I could eat there every Sunday, I would. They have everything you can think of - bacon, potatoes, pizza, omelets, chicken, fruit, salads, waffles, etc. We have also been there for dinner as well. The food is amazing and the beer they make in-house is very good considering they aren't a brewery.

I went to Bravo based on the Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. It's a great restaurant that you can easily dress business casual to fancy. The wait staff was professional and courteous but still had a personality. Their wine list is extensive. I just wish they had more selections by the glass. I started with the Mushroom soup. The waiter said it is what they are known for. I have to say that this was the best mushroom soup I've ever had! It was creamy yet not overly heavy. The taste of mushroom permeated the soup and they were generous with the actual mushrooms. I had the sweet potato and goat cheese stuffed ravioli in a brown butter sauce. It was heaven in a pillow. The pine nuts sprinkled over the top added a great textural difference as well as a delicious flavor. The stuffing of sweet potato and goat cheese was delicate but stood on its own against the pasta and the brown butter. Trust me. You will be wishing you had saved a piece of bread to sop up the remaining sauce. I finished the night with the homemade rhubarb pie and a cup of coffee. This is a must to finish the meal. The rhubarb had just a slight tartness to it. The crust was flakey but held it all together. It comes warm wit a few dollops of whipped cream and a scoop of vanilla. Hands down one of the best meals I've had lately. What a gem for Kalamazoo.

Tried it out when Latitude 42 was to busy tonight. We were a little dressed down to go here but went anyway. I ordered the Bravo IPA and was served . . . something. They served a cloudy IPA (think Yoo-hoo cloudy - seriously!). Still not sure what they actually served. It had a nice hoppy aroma and flavor, but was cloudy and had banana and clove tones like a Belgian Wheat. It was actually quite good despite the obvious flaws and mistakes in brewing and serving. My wife ordered the lasagna and like it a lot. I got an individual pizza and it was great. My son got chicken strips. All in all, it was very good and we might go back. The beer thing was disappointing, but who knew that a chocolate milk looking beer could be decent. If the restaurant is going to brew its own beer, some quality control needs to be implemented.

Was there for lunch while in Kalamazoo on business and had their special pizza. The Cesar salad was very good and actually had anchovy filets on the salad. The pizza was not a typical combination that included an al fredo sauce, thin apple slices, bacon and cheese and was fantastic. Definitely worth a return visit when in Kzoo next.

Nothing special. Small restaurant = you hear everything. For instance, the server stating is way too close to the seating area and causes a great disruption to the ambiance when several glasses smash to the floor. And then the subsequent clean up added to the noise. If you can get past the noise level and the host that practically just points at your table and tosses the menus down and walks away (as a former hostess, that makes me cringe), the food is average. To me it's overpriced and it's basically not any different from any other Italian chain. I had high hopes, but sadly they were smashed like the wine glasses in the server station.

This place is inauspiciously located across from the airport, but it makes a very nice impression to a visitor such as myself. They have a wood burning oven and a separate fireplace, which is awfully nice, and it's certainly an adult atmosphere. Even on a midweek night, they were doing good business, and despite the staff being engaging and thorough, they were struggling to keep up, and I waited quite a while for my check. It isn't a fast kind of place though, so I'm being generous with the rating. The menu is (not surprisingly, for an Italian place) of the sort where one must draw a sharp distinction between being vegetarian friendly (which it is, with pizzas, pasta, and a few soups with their stock clearly noted as such) and friendly to anyone looking to avoid dairy (which it is not). Luckily for me, I'm in the former category, and their house special pizza was pretty special as they go. I'd never had a morel mushroom before, but this pizza presenting a pretty convincing argument for eating more of them. The free bread with butter and cheese was also top notch, if redundant. Speaking as a Washingtonian, if you'd presented this meal to me and told me I was in some Georgetown establishment full of the local bourgeoisie, I would have believed you. Certainly a place I'd be happy to return to with company if I was ever in town again.

Bravo s a delightful bistro/cafe. It's slightly upscale, the prices are somewhat top-heavy but the best value is on the Pizza menu. The atmosphere is subdued and intimate. It isn't really cozy, but it's warm enough to be a great place for a birthday or anniversary dinner. The bus staff and the waitstaff are exemplary, and quite fleet of foot. I wasn't expecting much going in, but I'm duly surprised and impressed. It isn't an all-the-time destination, but it is definitely a special events destination. I'm looking forward to exploring their draft beer menu when their supplies recover from the DKI Passport program.

Great food, great service. Really attentive staff. Enjoyed the sweet potato ravioli, signature salad and whitefish special - all great tasting. Enjoyed a beer flight of Bravo brewed beer. Amber ale and others that were lighter (ie not your dark beers). They were fantastic, full of flavor. The atmosphere is quiet, a bit old school but that gives it a formal feel for a romantic or special occasion.

I found the food to be barely adequate. The place was overly fancy for the quality of food served and the service was extremely slow for us - though perhaps if you were having a romantic dinner it would felt better. We were traveling through and hoping to eat a good meal and get back on the road but couldn't even flag down a waitress to order for 10+ minutes when we were seated. I actually wanted to leave it took so long, but the person I was with wouldn't let us leave since we were already seated. Their white bread had caraway seeds which I found odd, I don't object to caraway but found the bread too light to manage their strong flavor. The caesar salad was ok. the Shrimp Scampi had so much balsamic vinegar I could taste nothing else - though the portion was fine I just couldn't handle the flavor anymore so I left much of it on my plate. In general, the food was not worth the price we paid. I would never go back.
Stopped for lunch, by chance, and was rewarded with a great atmosphere, impeccable service and a great meal. Thursdays special was 50% of pizza or pastas. I opted for the angel hair with artichokes and gulf shrimp. Excellent.

My review is based solely on their Sunday all you can eat brunch buffet.... it was expansive and the selections was quite impressive. Everything from your basic morning fare to straight up prime rib and various fish dishes. Their omelet station can take a bit of time so I would suggest skipping that and trying all the other food that is available. Also.... all you can drink MIMOSAS.

Brunch was delicious and the staff was (for the most part) quite friendly. However, when I walked past the host stand I overheard them speaking about how long my family had been sitting at the table. An hour and a half doesn't seem too unreasonable since we were celebrating three birthdays and some of us drove from out of state. Needless to say, I now have a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

As A-L-W-A-Y-S, superior in every way. Warm, gracious and attentive service. Uncommonly interesting and tasty offerings and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. BRAVO! has that 'big city feel' yet is locally owned. Certain to surpass your expectations in every way!

This restaurant is awesome! The food is superior and the service is fantastic. The atmosphere is quiet so you can actually have a conversation. I can't believe I found a restaurant that knows how to make a Caesar salad -- with real anchovies. What a treat. It's just a shame that I live in Chicago.

Attended the UKC Premier dog show in June. Wanted a nice, relaxing dinner out before the start of a busy show weekend. Found Bravo on Yelp and since it was near the hotel decided to give it a try. I'm usually in Kzoo for family gatherings, and I often end up here for dinner outings. Great place, nice service and tasty food - if not a bit underwhelming in it's variety. The bar is decent but limited. Don't expect a caipirinha or cool serving of pastis to relax to. Upper mid-scale joint, but still very Midwestern.
Very good. Looks unimpressive from outside but went there with a friend and had a great meal. Would not recommend the steak but the pastas were fantastic.

Absolutely love this place. I live in California but travel to the area on business. This was my third visit. My colleague and I drove out of our way to stop here for lunch on our way to Battle Creek. We only had half an hour to eat and the hostess and waiter served us beautifully and got us out of there right on time. The food is fresh and healthy. Don't miss the minestrone or the spinach and mushroom pizza. Yum. Nice atmosphere, clean, great service. And right across the street from the Kalamazoo airport!

Somewhat pricey, food usually great, but sometimes not. I suggest going for lunch first to make up your own mind and spend less money. I've had both good and bad experiences here, but the bad ones won't keep me from going back sometime because the good experiences were really good. Dinner for three with each of the two adults having one drink was about $120 including a $20 tip. For dress, I've seen it all, including promwear, suits and dresses and even, on one occasion, an entire family decked out in ripped jeans and holey t-shirts. I'd say a safe bet would be upscale casual.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Food was amazing. Service was phenomenal as well. Angie our server was great. We will definitely be returning again soon.

(4)Rayna P.
Food was great. I got the Sweet Potato Goat Cheese ravioli and it was very good. Service was nice however the bar service was slow. I would recommend bravo to anyone that is visiting in the area.

Great atmosphere great service and THE BEST SLOW ROASTED SANDWICH I'VE EVER HAD....hands down. I will go there any day everyday.

Nice little lunch spot near the airport! Great italian dishes plus some nice sandwiches at lunchtime. Lots of local ingredients! Really good place to have a business lunch
(4)Jessica M.

(4)Andrew M.
(4)Steve K.
(5)Emily S.
(1)Ann D.
We enjoy this restaurant very much. It is our "go to" special occasion spot. The mushroom soup is so yummy, creamy and flavorful. We had small plates for our entrées. I had the scallops and hubby, the filet medallions. Both were excellent. The scallops came with a delicious barley salad. Desserts were heavenly.Service was great. I do agree with another reviewer that the tables are a little close.
(4)David E.
Stopped for lunch, by chance, and was rewarded with a great atmosphere, impeccable service and a great meal. Thursdays special was 50% of pizza or pastas. I opted for the angel hair with artichokes and gulf shrimp. Excellent.
(5)Stefanie N.
(4)Rachel B.
(4)Kim M.
(5)Gerri P.
This restaurant is awesome! The food is superior and the service is fantastic. The atmosphere is quiet so you can actually have a conversation. I can't believe I found a restaurant that knows how to make a Caesar salad -- with real anchovies. What a treat. It's just a shame that I live in Chicago.
(5)Benton H.
we ate there for our anniversary and the service was excellent the food, prime rib was excellent, the best we ever had. just a excellent place for atmosphere and excellent food and service. fireplace was very intiment.

5 stars!!! whoo!! AMAZING food and awesome service. The staff are really friendly and fast working. I always recommend this restaurant when friends come out of town and want a great Italian meal.
(5)Gary S.
Went to Bravo after a hard weekend on the road for a treat. We were not disappointed. I had the halibut special. Served over wilted spinach and topped with a mild diced tomato sauce it melted away the aching muscles. The mushroom soup was dependably wonderful. We got our treat.
(5)Patty L.
Had the Gluten Free Pasta and steak in red pepper sauce. Not good-salty and bland sauce, steak was hard to cut and tough.
(2)Bill S.
Fathers Day 2013 10:30 am. brunch with 14 family members... Better than ever! Personell, meal selections, atmosphere. This Restaurant is a jewel for Kalamazoo.
(5)Ari S.
I was here last weekend for a celebratory meal. The gnocchi was fantastically fluffy and flavorful, and everyone else I was with enjoy their meal as well. The server we had was very friendly. Top notch as far as Kalamazoo goes!
(5)Jason C.
This is one of the best Italian places in Kalamazoo. The restaurant smells amazing. A little overpriced, but not too much to complain. Just maybe too much to get some of the more expensive items. Pizza is good.
(4)Ken K.
The Sunday Brunch was excellent! They have everything from meats to create your own omelette to delicious waffles to hot out of the oven thin crust pizzas. And I can't forget dessert they had a wide assortment.
(5)Josef S.
Loved the 23rd anniversary menu. Great value for 23 dollars. Salat was fresh, steak nicely done. Great wine selection!
(5)D R M.
Attended the UKC Premier dog show in June. Wanted a nice, relaxing dinner out before the start of a busy show weekend. Found Bravo on Yelp and since it was near the hotel decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed. Despite the fact it was warm outdoors started with the mushroom soup. It was to die for! Followed with the lobster ravioli and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was good too. Will eat at Bravo's again next year when I attend Premier.
(4)Keith B.
BEST pork chops I have ever had!! Amazing
(5)Forrest C.
Amazing atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. I recommend the stuffed pork chops!
(5)Pete E.
(4)Sarah A.
Bravo is an oasis in Kalamazoo. When I visit the Zoo, it is so hard to find good, fresh food. Much of the local fare tends to be deep fried or standard bar food. That can be great but after a few days I need good, wholesome food with great flavors. They also have a good wine selection and microbrews. My favorite entrée is the signature salad. It has goat cheese crumbles and cranberries - who can turn that down. The desserts are always fantastic. I especially love the white chocolate mousse and lemonade cake. This time I had the Pecan Pie Brownie which was gooey goodness :) It is more expensive than most places around but its not out of the ballpark by any means.
(5)Ben M.
Very good. Looks unimpressive from outside but went there with a friend and had a great meal. Would not recommend the steak but the pastas were fantastic.
(4)Kim P.
(5)Geoff S.
Delicious food. We have been going to Bravo for many years. They have a wood-fire oven to make the pizzas. A company I used to work for would always have a Christmas lunch here, and everyone loved the food.
(5)Michele H.
(3)Andrea G.
(5)Fred P.
My grandfather-in-law booked this place for a day before my wedding dinner just about a year ago in the Allegro Room. We had the $34 prix fixe menu and the food was delicious as well as the service was good
(4)Joseph B.
Great food, excellent Xmas beer made in house. Mushroom soup lived up to the hype as well.
