The quality of the food has gone down. I paid 36.00 for three pad thai. That is ridiculously expensive, especially for a local Michigan restaurant. It's not even that expensive in Chicago. The price needs to go down, highly disappointed.

Delicious Thai food with excellent flavor and seasonings and great portions at an affordable price. The bill for my wife and I for two entrées, an appetizer, and hot tea came to $23. All the food here seems fresh -- the eggrolls, for instance, are nicely done and not the traditional heavily-dough-wrapped food service eggrolls typical of Asian restaurants. The rice portions are very generous, and the red curry sauce is nicely spiced without being overbearing. Our server was friendly, and the ambiance is that of a cute, clean, and well-run family-owned restaurant. Would definitely eat here again.

If you want to try something completely different, get the green coconut curry with beef (gang kiew wan), wow! There's a flavor you don't taste every day. I've never been to Thailand but this food is very, very good. Very fresh, presentation is usually beautiful as well. Attention to detail and flavor, along with generous amounts of fresh ingredients really top it off. The chef and/or owner must have a passion for what they do. I can't resist handing out 5 stars to places that really care about what they do, that in itself usually equates to great food anyways. The egg roll and summer roll appetizers are great, their sauces seem very unique (and not out of a jar). I wish the famous Pad Thai was a little less sweet and a little more peanuty but that could just be me. In my own opinion to experience the Thai flavors go for a fried rice, noodle, curry or house favorite dish (save the stir fries for your chinese outings (even though they are very good here too)). A must try for West MI. And of course if you haven't tried a traditional Thai dessert, it's great here - a curiously hot/cold dish of purple rice and mango - yum. Now if only they served their little egg rolls or a tiny soup complimentary at the start, but I've already given 5 stars - wishful thinking though!

My brother wanted to get curry for his birthday, and since I'd never tried any of the more foreign food around here, for fear of being let down, I looked up curry on yelp. This place had the best reviews in the closest location, so we tried it. It was fantastic! The service was great, the food was really great! And it's a great deal for the price and amount of food. We started with the Sat-ay with chicken, and then pad thai, gang pa neang with chicken, and kao pad with chicken. Everything tasted so fresh and the flavors were stronger than other thai food I've had.

My wife and I ate here on June 10, 2010. Very pleasant service with some of the most unusual Thai food we have had. We each had the Pad Po-Tak, a stir-fried dish of shellfish, with lots of ginger and fragrant seasonings, lemon grass, kafti, etc. Excellent.

stumbled into Thai Palace as I was heading south on Lakeshore from a Grand Haven. It was lunch time and i was looking for a place to eat maybe like a fast food. Saw Thai Palace in this strip mall. I've been to a few Thai Restaurants and some I refuse to go back to. This one I would go to again. Since it was lunch time I just wanted something quick and familiar so I ordered Seafood Pad thai. Wow. Great use of spices. Definitely recommended restaurant. I'm thinking of bringing the Family from Grand Rapids this weekend so they can try it too.

Usually for Thai restaurants they give you a choice of how spicy you want your food. It's not just about the spice, but flavor as well, unfortunately the spice just over powered everything. Well to start we had the beef jerky, I thought it was pretty good. It was sweet, and not overly dry. It came with a side of soy sauce and two balls of sticky rice wrapped in plastic wrap. Next we ordered the papaya and beef laab. We were given the choice of Laos or Thai papaya. The waitress recommended the Laos style over the thai, because of flavor. Those also came with 2 balls of sticky rice each. Unfortunately we were not given the choice of spice level and when it came out, we were only able to take a few bites before the spice just took over. We also ordered the deep fried tilapia (Pla Lard Plik),which was spicy but it was enjoyable. The fish was cooked thoroughly, and it was crisp and delicious. We also ordered the Spicy Eggplant with Prawns, it was ok. I didn't think it was out of this world, or worth ordering again. We knew what to expect with the tilapia and spicy prawns, but I would say that they should give people a choice of spice levels for the papaya and beef laab. Other than that I would definitely return to try other things on the menu.

Food is good but I felt like it doesn't have a lot of flavor, servers need to dress more professional. I felt like some of them didn't know what they were doing but other than that it was okay.

We came to this restaurant after attending the Tulip Festival in downtown Holland. Although we expected the place to be crowded, to our surprise, the place was empty when we came in around 3:45 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon. After being promptly seated, we ordered a Tom Kha soup, Pad Ki Mow (Drunken Noodles), Kao Pad Ga Pow Spicy, and Isan Pad Gapow. This was enough food for four hungry adults and we ended up taking some of the Kao Pad Ga Pow fried rice home with us. I found the presentation style of the soup to be pretty interesting as it came in a hot pot with a flame underneath. For someone who loves his food hot and steaming, it was an added bonus. Complaints regarding the food were few. One issue with the food however was its spiciness and saltiness. As someone who is always adding Sriracha to his dishes and going to Italian restaurants and asking for crushed red pepper, even I found their dishes to be more spicy than desirable in spite of having requested "medium spicy". As we exited the restaurant, my wife, mother, and I all wanted something like a mint to lighten our palate but none being available, we ended up refreshing our breath with some chewing gum. Another issue is that the soups are only available in large portions at ~$12 whereas had the option been available, we might have tried out smaller portions of different soups. Lastly, something which I did not appreciate was that our server had added the tip to the bill itself even though it was a party of four people. Would I go back to Thai Palace? Well if I find myself in the area, I might consider it as their food was pretty reasonable but there was nothing that they did to stand out and so I wouldn't seek them out either.

I was craving asian so I pulled up Yelp and found Thai Palace close to the area where I was staying. The menu was large and had a lot of options but I am a creature of habit and ended up ordering what I usually do: pad see ew. This restaurant actually was more expensive than many Thai restaurants in Chicago, but this place did not seem to have much competition so I'm guessing they can charge what they want. Thankfully the food was really good and the service was top notch and definitely much better than what I get in Chicago. The seating was very comfortable. Our server was Nancy and she was fantastic. She checked on us quite frequently which I enjoyed, especially since we did not order very much food. The rest of the staff was very friendly. Everyone said hello, goodbye, and thank you to us. That made all the difference in our visit here. This restaurant makes me want to move to Holland! P.S They offer three levels of spiciness: mild, medium, and hot. I thought they would have incorporated the spices in my dish but they actually sprinkled the hot pepper spice on top of my noodles. I ordered medium and it was very spicy (I usually order things spicy). Next time I'm going with mild!

Love Thai Palace. The food, service and atmosphere is great! I most enjoy the Pad Thai, but their curry dishes are also very good. I recommend eating here for lunch since you'll get free soup with your meal.

This place has the best Pad See Eew in West Michigan. Featuring the standard wide rice noodles, their sauce complements the egg and Chinese broccoli perfectly. Order spice to taste. Other tasty dishes from this place include the Kao Soy (yellow curry noodles, prefer with chicken) and the Pad Woon Sen (glass noodles with a touch of curry and your choice of protein). Add in an order of their mini egg rolls and this is a complete meal. Insider tip: They have lunch specials during the week AND on Sat. You get the dinner size portion for the lunch price.

Thai palace is on point! Authentic Thai food with large portions. I've been to Thailand and this place has been the closest to what I've tasted there. Their service was friendly as well and fairly quick. Definitely returning when I'm back in the area.

Not bad for Michigan Thai - I think my wife and I are spoiled with all the great Chicago Thai we've had over the years. We ordered the Vegetarian Egg Rolls, Pad Thai with veggies and tofu, and veggie Fried Rice - to go. Egg Rolls were actually really good - crispy, with a lot of flavor and not too greasy. Pad Thai was greasy as was the Fried Rice. Noodles were a bit bland and the rice was just okay. Prices were decent and the staff seemed fairly friendly. We were impressed that this place dedicated an entire page to Vegan dishes so they get an extra star for that alone. Not sure if we would visit this place again, but with so few decent asian food options in West Michigan, we just might. Bottom line: you probably won't find better Thai food in West Michigan, but then again there's really not a lot of choices so it's more of a better-than-nothing option.

We have really missed authentic Thai food since moving to Michigan. We are were thrilled to discover this place and drive their regularly all the way from Muskegon. If we are passing through Holland we make sure to pick up Thai. I am a big fan of Thai curry and they get it right. It has to have a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Theirs is awesome. Also, very vegetarian and vegan friendly. This place is our favorite restaurant in all of Michigan so far. :-)

One of the best places in town. Great vegetarian selections. They actually understand how to cater to someone that makes alternative choices. Can be as spicy or mild as you like. It is pricey for Holland, but it is very good. We like drunken noodles and summer rolls.

Thai Palace is amazing! We were in town for the weekend and we liked our lunch here on Saturday so much, we cancelled our Sunday lunch plans elsewhere, and drove out of our way 30 minutes in each direction to make a return visit here. IT. WAS. JUST. THAT. DANG. GOOD! Thai Palace ranks in our minds (and palate) as one of the best Thai restaurants we have ever been to - ANYWHERE! The lunch specials come with a bowl of Chicken Ginger Rice Soup - I have never had this type of soup before but I am definitely craving it now. I have spent hours the past couple days trying to find a recipe for it. It is a clear broth soup with what tastes to be about two pounds of ginger per cup it is intense but oh-so-delicious! LOL. Their panang curry had a marvelous texture - not thin/runny and not overly thick - and had a great level of spiciness. My wife had the Isan Pad Ga Pow - which was a variation of basil chicken from their hometown region. We came back on the second day with friends and both my wife and I had the same dishes and our friends agreed - everything was delicious and they had the Pad See Ewe and Pad Thai - which they let us try (in trade for a taste of our entrees)... We will definitely be back - we have added them to places to stop by whenever we are in the area!

In visiting the to be graduate and was tulip'ed out with crowds down town so had dinner here. Thai ice tea was a great way to start followed by an order of spring roles. The group ordered pad Thai, a garlic shrimp dish and shrimp black pepper dish. All were great!! It was busy but the service was great. Parking was no problem. Will be back

found this place through YELP! thai ice tea was fantastic. i ordered #33 (Pho) and it was great. I lke it spicy but the soup comes non-spicy - the waitress brought a tray of sauces that really gave the meal a kick, which I enjoyed. the soup was plentiful for one person and filled me up. I recommend this restaurant if craving Thai food.

My favorite Asian restaurant in Holland. I love the curries and the baby eggrolls. My wife who normally is not a fan of Thai food loves the food at Thai Palace. Gourmet food at reasonable prices. The sauces are incredible, the ingredients are always fresh. The service is always great and it is clear, that Sue, the owner holds herself to the highest standards in every way.

Since our kitchen was being remodeled at my parent's house I've had to go out to eat for a few days, and this was one of the places I stumbled upon. My friend and I were here for a late lunch, and it was a good experience. The service here is excellent! The place has a nice cultural feel to it with a lot of Thai decor, but I was thrown off by not seeing any Asian people working there at all. We started out with this Rice Ginger Soup, which is really good. It's stuff I'd love to have when I'm sick. I ordered the summer roll, papaya salad, and sticky rice. My friend ordered the Beef Pad Thai. I like what I had ordered but the papaya salad was just okay. I wasn't knocked off my socks, but it did satisfy my Thai food craving I'd been having. I was too full for dessert, because I have to admit that I pre-ate. The waitress was super nice and gave us extra bowls of soup to take home. The price was pretty average, but it would be tough for me to come all the way out here again considering I'm usually having home cooked meals.

If you didn't have to deal with the restaurant but could still eat the food I would give it 4 stars. I find my stomach is always happy but I always walk out upset. One visit after 40 minutes my daughter got her food and finished it and ours was still not out. We had to get ours boxed before it even came out. The latest visit we didn't dare eat in so we called it in. Got there and the order disappeared. Someone swore they put it in. The only thing they could do for us is have us wait another 25-30 minutes. Basically couldn't care we were there.

Great Thai food. Good ambience. I never had an issue here till today. Today, one couple came at 8.53 and the waiters (both of them are new) told them that they are closed for dining in at 9 PM and asked them to take out. The customers were polite and refused the offer. If it was me, I would have definitely spoke with the owner and made sure that the timing is followed correctly.

My family orders from this place one a week. Their food is consistently delicious and the wait staff is always friendly. We mostly order to go because we have a toddler and she gets fussy fast. I highly recommend the pad Thai and Pad See Eiw.

Curry is great! Pad tai? Not sure what it was but it tasted like ketchup on noodles and looked like it. Really really disappointed. Worst part was it took one and half hours to get food. Then we were late for appointment asked to take Pad Tai off bill we weren't going to eat it. They refused and we had to wait for something else to go. Never again won't be back.

Great Thai food for Western Michigan. The best Asian restaurant in Holland by a large margin. Try number 42 (Pak Ki Moa I think) great tasting option with large portions. I'm taking off one star because Thai Palace wouldn't stand out in Chicago or other metropolitan areas.

We are visiting the area and were craving Thai food, so we gave Thai Palace a chance based on the Yelp reviews. We called our order of Chicken Pad Thai and Fried Rice for pick up and both were delicious and ready when they said it would be. I'd go back for sure and try some of their other dishes.

First off, the food here is great! Always delicious and prepared well. The issue is actually getting the food to your table or take-out window. The first time we came here service was fine, on every other visit after that it's gone further and further downhill. The last time we got takeout we waited more than an hour after placing the order to get our food. This is unacceptable. Thai food can be made quickly, they need to work with their kitchen to be more effective. They know they will be busy and have a lot of orders, why are they not planning for this? Last week when I went here to dine in on a weeknight, no one greeted our table for a good 10 minutes. Fine, but then every other process was incredibly slow. The tipping point was when my sister's curry dish came out and I had to wait at least 10 minutes for my stir fry to be done. Terrible kitchen process once again! What really irritated me was the manager or possibly owner women was there all night, but did nothing to help. She seemed oblivious to the slow service and instead hovered around the take-out window all night. She should help bring out waters or run food! If you have a lot of time to kill and don't mind bad, slow service, you could give this place a try. But if you don't enjoy ordering take-out on the phone and then waiting an hour to get it in a cramped/busy waiting area, skip Thai Palace.

I come here for lunch, and I only order these vegan options each time: "V 41. PAD SI-EEW Flavorful thick noodle stir fried with Chinese broccoli makes this dish a taste you will not forget. $10.95" with Tofu and... "V 5. VEGETARIAN EGG ROLLS Deep-fried wrapped seasoned vegetables and noodles: served with our homemade sweet and sour sauce. 5pcs $4.25" I love the food, I always leave with leftovers, which are always breakfast the next morning. The service has been great 95% of the time. My husband and I love going here for lunch whenever we get the chance. Yummy - now I want Thai food!

Thai Palace was the first place I ever got Thai food from, and I loved it. I've since had Thai food from a variety of restaurants all over the place, and Thai Palace is still at the top of my list. I've never been let down by a dish I've eaten there. The spice level is always just right for me without having to guess which level of spice I should ask for like with some other Thai restaurants. Sometimes the service can be a little spotty, which is why I'm rating them at four stars instead of five, but overall it's one of my favorite options for dining in Holland.

Always a great meal. I've never been disappointed. The servers are always friendly and very helpful if you don't understand something on the menu. Takeout is efficient and everything is always packed well. Great place for a date night or for going out with friends.

If you told me I would eat one of my all time favorite Thai meals in Holland, MI... well, I never would've thought! This place is truly a gem. We loved our curry dishes and the baby egg rolls. Great service and the interior is open and nicely decorated. Good flavor balanced with heat and you can add extra spice if you love it like I do. I would love to come back here if my travels bring me through here again. It really was a perfect meal and we relished every last bite.

Meh. I wanted to like this place more. Maybe I was expecting more with the great reviews and set the expectation bar too high? We had a party of four for a late lunch on a weekday, and I thought it odd that with two other parties in the entire restaurant that we were all seated so close. Maybe it's just me but I don't care to partake in others conversations when we all could have had a little more privacy. Service also a bit slow. Our party arrived a few minutes apart and when the sever came we needed a little more time to decide, but then she stranded us and had to wave her down to get her back to order. Then we never got the desert that we ordered despite her writing down our order. Which was ok since we didn't get billed for it. We also needed to get her attention for one to go container and the bill. As far as the food it wasn't bad but it wasn't great, just ok. I tried the soup and it was much too salty, and I am heavy handed with the salt. Another person in our party felt the soup too salty also and stated that she also enjoys her salt. No one was too impressed with their lunch not bad but nothing to remember. Would I go back? Probably not, although someone may be able to persuade me to at least try something else off the menu if they felt strongly about going.

We've ate here a few times since moving to the area. The service is acceptable, and the food is ok, but bland. I tend to blame that on the area, as there's a disclaimer on the menu that there will be no refunds for food being too spicy. The dishes come essentially un-spiced, with a handful of pepper flakes you can mix in. Put all of them in and you end up at what most Thai places in GR consider mild to medium. Next is the size of the dishes, what you get is roughly appropriate for a meal, but, in Grand Rapids the price is the same or less and the portion size is roughly double. Lastly, while they try to be accommodating to people with allergies, they really don't know what allergens are in their food. I often dine with a person with food allergies, one of them being soy. we were assured that there was no soy in the food, but, after eating here a few times she always felt a bit off afterwards. Eventually we ended up asking exactly how the dishes were made, we found out that all the dishes start with frying in vegetable oil, which is usually entirely soybean oil, they were were unknowingly serving soy to people with soy allergies.

Great food with some good vegetarian options if that is your thing. Sometimes the service can be hit or miss, but the last several times out wait staff has been fine. Lunch can be busy so don't expect to breeze through quickly.

Basically, this is the best Thai restaurant in the Holland area (true, there's not that many, but...). I've had a variety of dishes off the menu, and they've all been good for the most part. They will make the food spicy if you ask for it. I generally order one of the curries, which have a nice consistency and a good mix of flavors and spices. I normally order takeout, and one serving of curry is good for two meals for me. The service is friendly and attentive, and the dining area is pretty nice for the price range. They did just finish a recent remodel. My only complaint about Thai Palace is that their stir-fry is a bit inconsistent. One visit the pad ki mow will be amazing and just about perfect in every way, the next visit they noodles will be over cooked and drenched in oil and generally bleh. Same with the pad ga pow. The prices are very reasonable for what you get, and the lunch specials are especially good deals.

Tried this place again, and I'm still not getting what everyone else is raving about. We ordered the spring rolls (the fresh ones in the clear wrapper) and they were just basically lettuce with a few sprigs of something else- no cilantro, no noodles, no mint, just totally tasteless. Same for the sauce- no flavor. We each got a thai dish, but again- hardly any ingredients, lacking flavor, no hot sauces on the table. In hindsight, I think next time I will make it a point to ask for "full flavor/full spice" in our order. The waitress (as I recall) was very nice, and the place is is clean and inviting. I will give them another chance, and try some different dishes. Sometimes, it takes a few tries to find my favorites in a restaurant.

We're visiting Holland, Michigan from Chciago (home of some mighty fine, authentic Thai restaurants) and came to Thai Palace based on favorable Yelp reviews. The restaurant did NOT disappoint. PROS Beautiful contemporary, appropriate decor. Very nice. VERY friendly hostess/owner/waitress. Extensive menu with many options, including some unique offerings. Excellent food: We enjoyed the Roast Duck curry (they put the red pepper on top when they bring it so you control the heat - great idea); Be advised that the duck is excellent but does come with it's layer of fat (I was warned and ate some of the fat and tactfully removed some and put it in my empty serving bowl). Overall it was a VERY good dish. My teenage son got the Pad Thai that came with a slightly unusual red color but he said it was very good and finished the entire entree. My wife had a yellow curry dish and ordered it with extra mixed vegetables ("that will cost about 99 cents or a dollar", the hostess/waitress told us. Love it...how cute! Likewise, this too was very good and the portions were very satisfactory. Price: Our entrees were 10.25 - 12.95, a little pricey for the Pad Thai but overall quite reasonable. CONS They only offer Thai soups as $12.00+ entrees. Chicken satay is not skewered; it came in a pile; the chicken was a little dry but the home made peanut sauce was terrific. Overall this restaurant is HIGHLY recommended. Holland, Michigan - and its many visitors - are very lucky to have it.

we arrived at 8:55 and we were told the dining room was closed even though the sign said it was open till 9:30, they stated that take out is open till 9:30. the prices here seemed to be on the high end in my opinion, this place is two to three dollars more per entrée then any other thai restaurant in west mi that I've been to. the ordering process reminded me off a fast food experience unfortunately, there's a complete disconnect between the server who was cool and the kitchen. I'm vegetarian and I asked for no meat in my gang massaman and I substituted vegetables and they up charged me over a dollar? my gm was nothing special on the flavor, the veggies were over cooked, I asked for it to be made spicy and it came with a tea spoon full of hot sauce on top not cooked in or even blended. the pad thai was decent. I'll definitely be looking for a different restaurant next time I'm in the area.

I give Thai Palace a big fat A+, and that's a lot coming from this girl, who eats Thai food almost as much as a Thai person. As far as I have experienced, they are better than any Thai joint in the whole of Grand Rapids. Here's why. Their portions are HUGE. Any 1 takeout meal equals 3 full meals for me. I should mention, however, that my boyfriend can shovel an entire order of kao pad into his stomach in a single sitting, but he's a garbage disposal. The quality of the food is HIGH. I've had the kao pad, baby egg rolls, massamun and pad thai. All authentic, all flavorful, always fresh and hot, never a disappointment. I've only ever ordered takeout, so I can't really comment on the service, but each time I'm there the diners-in look happy. My only gripe is that it's closed on Monday. Some Mondays I want Thai Palace, and I can't have it, and that makes me angry.

2nd time here with high expectations after my first visit. Had the gang massamun with seafood (shrimp, squid, & scallops). Healthy portions of meat and high quality. The scallops were finely sliced biggins. Not the little guys. They didn't skimp! Other meals enjoyed by the table were Pad Thai & drunken noodles. Avoid 64, it was not bad but boring. The hot tea was most likely Lipton and nothing special. I wouldn't get it again. Overall though our meal and service were excellent! Keep it up Thai Palace. I will be back shortly.

We went back to Thai Palace a couple times in the past month. They are remodeled with new decor. Pictures of the Thai royal family remain on the back wall. The food remains awesome and delicious. I recommend it to all my friends and then some. The lunch specials last until 2pm I think. And the dishes are always generous in portion.

Good Thai food, almost authentic, Tom yum Kung soup is good. I always like thai's green curry, but this one wasn't that good. I will order something els next time.

Oh. My. Word. As you read this, I want you all to keep in mind that I spent nine months in Thailand as an exchange student, so I really am a pseudo expert in the ways of Thai cuisine. That being said. I had yet to fine any "authentic" Thai style cooking this side of the oceans, which was a real disappointment for me when I got back to Michigan. And now, I can't even remember how I found this place, located fifteen miles from my house, in a city I'd never been to, nestled in a strip mall that I'd never seen. It was fate, I tell you. It's amazing. By this point I've eaten half their menu, carried half of it out, and been in and out of that place so much the staff and I have joked about setting up my own personal booth to live out of. If you like Asian food, if you like Thai food, if you want an authentic Thai experience, GO HERE and ENJOY.

I'd highly recommend eating here. It's the usual Thai/Chinese decor throughout.....and seating arrangement is booth style, but that's where it stops being average. The food here is fresh, authentic and very very good. I wouldn't change a thing about anything I have ever ordered from here. My favorite is probably the Tom Yum Soup - AWESOME - GO THERE TONIGHT!

Delicious....and probably my family's favorite restaurant in Holland. We always end up ordering tons of appetizers before our meal. The egg rolls and the thai jerky are the best! You can't beat sticky rice either. Interestingly, you can go next door to the Laos Market and pick up thai sticker rice and a thai style woven bamboo sticky rice steamer. I heard that the owner is from Loas and I love the Loatian flavors that are woven into the Thai dishes. May favorites are the Thai Palace pleaser (jerky, sticky rice and egg rolls), the Kao Soy (rice noodles in a light thai coconut? curry), and the Larb is just fantastic! I love Larb and sticky rice! If you haven't tried Larb yet, you should....minced chicken in mint, lime and roasted rice is the BEST! Oh I almost forgot the Lard Nah....oh the thick rice noodles in thai gravy is just fantastic!

I really love Thai Palace! Soy Kai is my favorite, yellow curry with rice noodles, veggies & choice of meat. My husband loves the Pad Thai & I like it too, but I LOVE the curry here. I've tried some of the other dishes & didn't love them, so I stick to my favorite & crave it often! The soup for lunch is really good too.

Maybe it's because I'm a city kid with endless options where I live, but I found the food here to be rather boring. Bland tofu and limp veggies. I wasn't impressed.

Our favorite Thai restaurant for dinner and occasionally lunch too. As other indicated it's a great choice for Thai food in Holland, MI. Most folk go for the coconut curries and the Pad thai. I like spicy so when I visit Thai Palace I like to go for Pad pek which has spicy peppers. Clean, friendly and OK value for money. Now they serve beers too.

Delicious Pad Thai and vegetable fried rice. The waitress's were stretched a bit too thin, but besides that it was a great dinner.

The best Thai food in W. Michigan. The place is nothing special to look at as it is in an unassuming strip mall. Thai Palace is usually not crowded so its not too loud to talk. There never is a long wait to get seated or have food served to your table. Service is excellent and I love how they have music from Thailand playing as you dine. A nice touch is that in the evening they turn down the lights and light a candle for your table as you arrive. Its affordable and the food is well proportioned. I waver between mild and medium spice and they know how to cater to your spice level as its been right on every time. We used to make the trip from St. Joseph (40 minute drive) for the food alone. A great place to impress your date (or sig other).

Excellent, friendly service. Great help with the menu if you are unsure of what you might like. Every dish I've had there is presented well and has been very tasty. A fairly wide choice of dishes are available and seating is comfortable. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. I highly recommend you give Thai Palace a try.

This was my first introduction to Thai food, and I've been going back for more ever since. The restaurant has some nice decorations and the staff is friendly. During my visits, the store was quite clean. I have yet to have a bad experience there, and the food has been excellent. I suggest trying any of the curries, and the summer rolls are delicious. Their dishes are very flavorful. The traditional flavors of Thai cuisine, such as lemongrass, kaffir lime, fish sauce and galangal, are present and give their distinctive touch to the dishes served. For a nice refreshing meal, I suggest giving Thai Palace a try.

Fairly standard Thai. Nothing special. Pad See Ew had the right flavor but was over-sauced. Green curry and sticky rice were both average. I'll probably go here again but it has no ambiance or special details to write home about.

This is perhaps the best Asian restaurant I've been to in W. MI. It's on par with most of the Thai restaurants I've been to in San Francisco. Their menu is quite authentic. I would not hesitate to bring anyone who likes Thai food there.

The quality of the food has gone down. I paid 36.00 for three pad thai. That is ridiculously expensive, especially for a local Michigan restaurant. It's not even that expensive in Chicago. The price needs to go down, highly disappointed.

Excellent.

Kao soy and massamon curry were great! You have to get the sticky rice and mango for dessert.

Now they serve beers too.

stumbled into Thai Palace as I was heading south on Lakeshore from a Grand Haven.

I would not hesitate to bring anyone who likes Thai food there.

found this place through YELP! thai ice tea was fantastic. i ordered #33 (Pho) and it was great.

The quality of the food has gone down. I paid 36.00 for three pad thai. That is ridiculously expensive, especially for a local Michigan restaurant. It's not even that expensive in Chicago. The price needs to go down, highly disappointed.

Food is always good, only problem I have is they have a limited child's menu , they raise the prices and charge more than what's on the menu. They need to be more accountable, and cater to the customers needs, otherwise very very good food!

One of the best places in town. Great vegetarian selections. They actually understand how to cater to someone that makes alternative choices. Can be as spicy or mild as you like. It is pricey for Holland, but it is very good. We like drunken noodles and summer rolls.

Kao soy and massamon curry were great! You have to get the sticky rice and mango for dessert.

Excellent.

Oh. My.

The waitress's were stretched a bit too thin, but besides that it was a great dinner.

stumbled into Thai Palace as I was heading south on Lakeshore from a Grand Haven.

Excellent Thai food! The Tom Kha and special egg rolls were prepared perfectly. The flavors were strong, complimentary and fine tuned. Will return regularly with my wife!

I would not hesitate to bring anyone who likes Thai food there.

found this place through YELP! thai ice tea was fantastic. i ordered #33 (Pho) and it was great.

Thai Palace has good food, awesome service and a nice atmosphere. No complaints! We tried the Massaman and Penang curry dishes, with a pot of tea. Perfect for lunch on a cold, rainy day in West Michigan. Highly recommend Thai Palace!!

We would never stop in this place if not Yelp, as it is located in the strip mall and doesn't look appealing . Definitely hidden treasure for that good... I had Tom Yum soup and duck curry and both dishes were amazingly yamm. Highly recommended ...
