As good as it gets! Subs-N More is a more casual affair to Crane's in the City, but both are very excellent and caters to different demographics. My girlfriend and I shared a philly cheese-steak like sandwich for under $10. I loved how they toasted up the sandwich under the toaster contraption, and the service was excellent. Portions were excellent and service was very friendly. Definitely stop by Subs-N More!

We chose this place to grab a quick bag of sandwiches, chips and drinks during Tulip Time. It was a good sign that there were a ton of people lined up to get sandwiches and pizzas, but that also meant having to wait patiently for your turn to order ... And then for your food to come. We ordered the Roast Beef Burner, Corned Beef, Italian Combo and the Chicken Club all as meals. The prices are reasonable and the portions are quite generous. It was really interesting watching the crew literally chop the sandwiches when they came out of the oven and I realized why when I bit into my sandwich - the bread was wonderful crispy! My family really enjoyed our selection of sandwiches. A quick note however - I don't think the server was intentionally racist, but I just have to say not all Asians are foreigners. It's always interesting having to answer the question of where I'm from with the Metro Detroit area and getting a confused look. Overall, great food, service is a bit slow when there is a full crowd.

Shout out to these guys!! They work so hard every day and it shows! There is great variety in the menu, and it is fast and fair priced. It's also very filling which isn't true of some other places.

Pizza and subs are both awesome. The BLT sub is fantastic as is the Bacon pizza. We liked the pizza so much we tried to get it at Pizza Hut. Bad Idea. Subs'n'more makes the perfect bacon pizza. The bacon is crispy not floppy. Plus, it's right across the street from my boyfriend's apartment, and it's open later than other sandwich joints.

Thank you Yelp! Needed a quick spot to grab some lunch while in Holland. All the positive reviews were spot on. The pizza at this place is awesome! The crust is probably the most notable part of the pizza! Can't say enough good things about this place. I'll have to come back so I can try a sub.

Wow. So being from Chicago, I'm accustomed to having delicious food at my doorstep, but have always had problems finding a good sandwich shop (donuts, too). Holland, my defacto summer home, has the best sandwiches in the Midwest and, til further research, in the country. The sandwiches at Subs n More are made perfectly. The difference in their sandwiches is the bread and the flavor. I'm not so much a fan of the toasted oven craze, but they do it perfectly with a heavenly blend of melted cheese and fresh deli meat and veggies. The appetizers or the sides are always worth getting, I prefer the potato wedges. I agree with Leang, that Italian is hard to beat. It's like heaven on a roll. I'd knock it down a half a star because my friend who lives in Holland told me about it only recently, but I can't penalize a place that is one in a million. Update: OK, I was there just recently with my buddy. Excellent just like previous times. One note, which I noticed before. The people who work there act like they're too cool to work there - kind of like displaced Brooklyn hippies in the middle of quaint downtown Holland. But as long as they keep up with the subs, I can deal with it.

Great pizza, salad and subs. Good deal on soda too! Fast service and delicious food...what more could you ask for?

Hands down THE best sub shop in all of the Midwest! I LOVE their subs! Something about the crunch of the toasted bread with the yummy hot goodness of the Turkey sub or the Italian just makes me happy. I ALWAYS try to stop by here during lunch or dinner when I am in town and am never disappointed with the subs or the service that I get. Very laid back atmosphere, and not too many tables, but it is a very quaint little shop right next to one of the busiest coffee shops in town. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with their subs. They do have pizzas, but I don't go there for that. It's just THAT good. Check it out!

Okay, I didn't try the subs - I had the nachos instead. BIG MISTAKE. First off, I should have known better when green peppers are on the deluxe nachos. What?? Green Peppers?? Not jalapenos?? But I was in the mood for nachos so I gave 'em a whirl. So, I ordered them without green peppers. What I got was a tray of round chips with melted cheese, tasteless hamburger meat, and sliced onions. They give you a side of sour cream and some type of sauce that resembled tomato sauce. These nachos had absolutely no flavor, NONE. At least they could have some hot sauce on the tables or something to give it some kick. Stick to subs guys - you'll be better off!!

This is my go to spot when I want to go out and get something to eat for lunch. It's not a huge place, and it would be tough to accomodate a really large group. I can see there are probably a lot of regulars who come in. They do have the best subs in town and maybe even the state or midwest! Something about the way the cheese is melted and the sandwich tastes. I should try something new, but I always get the Italian with black olives added and no mayo. The other part is that it reminds me of home. The guys at the counter are great, because they are laid back and just nice. I've been eating here for years, and I think the guy that manages the place is an old classmate of mine. For some reason we never go out of our way to be friendly towards each other, but I've gotten the feeling that he's never liked me even when we were in school. I'm not sure why this is. Obviously, that hasn't stopped me from coming in for my sandwich!

Subs looked interesting but decided to go with the 7 inch pizza. I ordered extra cheese pepperoni and mushrooms. It was like the old Wendys commercial. Where's the sauce. My coworker ordered extra sauce and you couldn't find any. My extra cheese was a joke. The pizza tasted OK. I didn't see any chicago deep dish pizza as soneone else remarked. The crust was thicker then thin but smaller then a hand tossed pizza hut or dominoes. I wouldn't go back for the pizza. There's better pizza in town; Googs for example. Pizza took 15 minutes versus the 8 minutes the "cool dude said". He was out of it! Pricing was very reasonable. I might go back for the subs.

Being from NJ, the roast beef, turkey and ham sub I had was not what I expected. They put the sub in the oven. Not a fan at all. I expect a meatball sub to be warm, but not cold cuts! I didn't have the pizza, but it 'looked' good. Don't plan on going there again.

First time here. Got the big veggie sub and it was delicious. Lots of veggies and bread was super good. I haven't had a lot of subs but it may have been my favorite sub ever- Review over

Best grinders in Holland hands down. Huge selection and priced appropriately! I've been coming here on and off for 20 years and it never disappoints me. In the summer, get it to go and eat it outside. In the winter take it home and enjoy!!!

Better than most. Pizza fresh good cheesy. Subs tasty. Rolls soft not hard but fresh and good. Pleased to have found this place.

PIZZA!! It's called Subs-N-More but I love their pizza more. It is SO cheesy, mmm. This is a nice hometown casual restaurant. The food is consistently well made. I don't care for the cheese bread - it was very crunchy, but maybe you would like it. Just writing this review makes me want to go there again tomorrow.

Probably should have 4 stars, because the food and service was excellent, but the tables & seating are very plastic. Still, the staff was friendly and the food came quickly, and it was good. Great place to grab hand-rolled dough pizza, or a great sub. I recommend the pizza.

I tried the sub on my first visit, and it was great... but my friend told me I *had* to try the pizza by the slice. I was pretty shocked. The slices are huge, the ingredients fresh, and it was the best deep dish pizza I have had here. I have only had better Pizza in Chicago and Boston, how did this place end up here? :D My only disappointment was no WiFi... really? At a sit-down restaurant?

I was not expecting too much here even after hearing glowing reviews because I figured reviewers in a smaller city would not know any better. Wrong. What I didn't know about Holland Michigan is that they get a lot of people vacationing from Chicago. People from Chicago are going to be hard to please so my guess is that restaurants here are aiming pretty high. This review is based only on the Italian sub I had. The sub roll is flat, more like what they call grinders in southeast Michigan but if I had to compare it to popular grinder places like Bellacino's I would say Sub's-N More is much better. The Italian sub has a lot of meat and it's great tasting, there are also round balls of Italian sausage. At most sub places around metro Detroit you would probably have to order double meat to get the amount of meat you get in this sub. I loved this sub. Comments: The bread is very fresh and I they sell it separately as well. There are 2 locations in Holland. 4.75 Stars

The subs at Subs-N More are great. I had a turkey and mozerella which sound pretty plain but it was excellent. I ordered a 3-1/2 inch sub and I'd say it was closer to 5 inch and the bread is wide not long and skinny. They toast their sandwiches and the exterior of the bun becomes flaky/crispy not dry and crumby. I kept trying to figure out what kind of bread it was; it was kind of like focaccia but yet still an italian sub loaf. The cuts of meat were really good as well. My son (age 14), got a 14" (see pic) and it was huge. He had 2 dinners from that sub. They have 3 different kinds of fries in addition to the standard potato chip sides. One person in our group ordered a personal pizza and it was bigger than a lot of personal pizzas I've seen before and it looked delicious.

I would give a zero star if I could. The kitchen is extremely dysfunctional, and the staff had a really bad attitude when we inquired about an order that did not come out after 40 minutes of waiting, then used the F-word behind the counter when everyone waiting can hear them. With two staff taking in orders and collecting the cash and one poor guy making all the food, no wonder they can't get anything out. If you expect friendly staff or a meal within an hour, do not come here.

Visited this restaurant early on a Saturday evening. Atmosphere is almost non-existent. Only interesting features of note is that the place is located in an older storefront downtown with a well-worn wooden floor. You basically walk up to a counter, place and pay for your order, and then they call your name when the food is ready. Chips are hanging on clips on front of counter area and drinks are all self-serve. Subs can be ordered in various sizes with the 14" going for about $10. Ordered the Italian sub and the Vegetarian sub. Good balance between bread, meat, (and/or veggies), and condiments. All subs are toasted and both tasted really good. Most customers seemed to being ordering subs, but would have liked to try the pizza as the menu said the crust was homemade. Only real complaint was that the place seemed a little dirty. The soda machine needed to be wiped down, there was a pile of what looked like wood shavings or raw oatmeal under the first table we sat down at, and the restroom needed some serious cleaning attention. Because of the relative spartan nature of the space these issues seemed to come to the forefront. Perhaps next time we will order the pizza for takeout or eat at one of the tables sitting just outside of their front door.

I don't know what it is about this place... it is a pretty bare-bones sub shop at first glance. I think the magic is in the bread and the way they toast the entire sandwich. Crispy, buttery, legit, enormous. Totally good.

Yes, Sub N More, is our family's little quick and delicious destination. My boys love their chicken club and garlic bread. They really do good job. The guys that work there are very easy going and calm. Not overly friendly, but provides very good service. The place appears to be cleaned and sanitized every Mondays our family come visit. Another great easy access place to dine.

I don't know what it is about this place, but it's so good! I've only had the subs there, but I've heard their pizzas are good too. They put the sandwiches through the oven, so the bread is perfectly toasted and the cheese is melted just right. You definitely need to check it out if you're on the main strip in Holland!

I've never had one of their subs but... THE PIZZA HERE IS AWESOME!!! I haven't had it in almost three years and I can still remember its deliciousness. A total hole in the wall, but it's definitely worth it.
