I love their food! And if this was a review for any other qdoba location it would get a 5 star. Just saying that service here always seem to lack and the people working really don't seem to have any sense of urgency. The employee making my burrito seemed annoyed when I asked him to spread out the sour cream and guacamole instead of leaving it in a heaping ball in the middle of it. I will come back but service has gotten worse every time I've been here. The one I've been to in grand rapids is top notch compared to this one. They are slacking...

These guys are doing their take on the Chipotle thing - basically the same menu, but food isn't nearly as good as Chipotle in my opinion. Received a luke-warm greeting from the server. As I described to him what I wanted on my burrito, he looked very annoyed. As I looked at all the ingredients he was preparing my burrito from, I noticed that everything looked like it had been sitting around for a couple hours - not fresh at all, and that definitely came through when I ate my burrito. Bland and boring. The salsas taste like they're processed and out of a can. If this place wants to compete with Chipotle, they better step up their game. Fresh ingredients make all the difference guys. Friendly service doesn't hurt either.

I had been going here since it was closer to my house than Chipotle on the far side of Grand Rapids, fortunately there's now a Chipotle in Grandville. Anyways, my experiences here have been very hit or miss. Occasionally I'll walk in at the perfect moment when everything is properly prepared, the veggies are actually cooked instead of just fired for a couple minutes, the rice isn't hard, or mushy, and the steak, it's properly cooked and trimmed of gristle. Unfortunately that experience only happens about 1 out of 3 visits in my experience, otherwise the veggies are raw most times, and often the meat if cooked into oblivion or it's full of gristle.

I like Qdoba, usually, but this particular location needs help. It was dirty and messy. The bathroom was dirty, water all over the counter and floor near the soda machine, and the carpet was dirty with food and clearly needed to be steam cleaned. Behind the counter looked messy and the food looked like it had been sitting around a while. I always get gumbo and it tasted as usual but I wouldn't go back to this location based on the cleanliness or rather lack of.

Food is SO good! There are new managers which I didn't think I'd like because I thought the woman that was there before was the best (I heard they transferred her to Grand Haven), but the new guys turned out nice too. The rewards program is nice and if you skip the drink it's like $12 for two people.

This place is just ok. It is nothing to truly write home about.

I have used Yelp in the past, but have never posted a review. This visit definitely deserved one. I love Chipotle's chicken bowls, however, there aren't any locations in Holland, so I thought I would settle with Qdoba. Big mistake. The fajita mix was cold and not even chopped up appropriately, the chicken was seasoned way too much, and the brown rice wasn't even cooked all the way. I thought I was chewing on grains of sand. I will never be dining at this establishment ever again.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
