I've been eating here since 1995 and have never had a bad meal. The quality is consistent and the food is always excellent. Family favorites are Mongolian chicken and Szechuan shrimp. Crabmeat rangoons are also a must. This is by far the top Chinese restaurant in West Michigan. Be prepared if you go on Sunday after church as it is quite busy. The wait is never long though. The lunch deals are great, dinner is also quite reasonable.

Great food! Vegetables were extremely fresh! Service very professional. My kids (11, 8, 5) said the food was the best and filling.

Tasty but they got my order mixed up twice. That being said, maybe chec your order before you're out the door, but this is really good stuff. Quick take out and rice is nicely done.

We come here often. It's at the top of our list along with Thai Palace for Thai and Su Casa for Mexican. The prices are great, the food is usually always wonderful. By far our favorite Chinese restaurant within a 30-40 minute radius. The servers are always nice and attentive. They add little nice touches like serving oranges at the end. Nothing to complain about, the inside is charming (even a bit of a surprise compared to the outside) and relaxed. Would recommend this to anyone seeking out Chinese!

My wife and I have been to this restaurant several times now and have been pleased with our meals each time. Each time we have ordered a different combination plate. The service is excellent and the food is the best chinese in town, that we have found so far. The eggrolls are a highlight. The last time we we went the eggrolls were cold in the middle, however, the servers rectified this quickly so the meal was not ruined. The kitchen sent out a new ones, freshly cooked and delicious. Some chinese restaurants we have been to use low quality, tough chicken. The chicken they have used in the dishes we have had has been good quality and tender.

I'm always a little skeptical when it comes to trying out new Chinese restaurants, but this place...so far so good. I'll redo my review again once I have a sit down experience, but I did the to-go order and it was awesome. I phoned in and the employee took the time to answer my questions about dishes/prices since I didn't have the menu open on my phone. Wait time for picking up my order wasn't bad, but it might be because there weren't many customers when I came by. Looking around the area it looks like a great sit down location, the atmosphere was pleasant and the place was clean. When you order dishes they come with white rice, unless it's noodles. I ordered the pepper steak beef, combo lo mein, hot and sour soup and the special walnut shrimp (not to be confused with honey walnut shrimp, but just as tasty). I took a menu home and crossed off what I had ordered because I'm confident I'll be come back again to try new dishes. Rating this place a 4/5 for now. Both customer service and quality of the food were great!

We just arrived town. We walked in the door but found out the restaurant just closef and the chef already left. The restaurant lady owner was so nice that she gave us hot and sour soap with ricefor free. We were so moved and will come back when they open tomorrow.

Really good Chinese food for reasonable prices. About $7 will buy a whole meal: meat, fried rice, soup, and tea. It is a very popular Sunday lunch spot for the churchgoing crowd in Holland. The service is good, they keep up with the busy restaurant well!

My food was delicious, but also the people here are out of their way friendly. I called after they closed because I was craving some curry. The owner still took my to go order, and was very warm and thankful I came in. Thank you China Inn!

Did I go to the wrong place based on positive reviews? Prices are average for Chinese restaurants; defiantly not cheap! Start off with a bowl of mediocre wonton soup and dry spare ribs with no sauce. They were burnt and very dry. 2nd worst ever! You cant get as low as the Chinese restaurant in Leamington Canada. Crab rangoons get a B-. Check out my pictures! They dont even have decent sweet and sour sauce. I ordered dragon and phoenix. Seafood and chicken. It came with no chicken. Had to wait fot them to finish cleaning the kitchen to get chicken! Pork fried rice had big pieces of egg and pork. Wasnt bad but not what i expected. They have a large menu. Not many customers; in fact I am it. The shrimp were giant but you only got 3 plus 2 scallops and 2 miniscule crab pieces. One was an inch and the other was 2 inches. What a joke.! It was loaded with carrots, peppers and many little corns plus a few pieces of broccoli and mushrooms. Overall small portion. Found out the waiter messed up when i asked him the seafood in the dragon and phoenix. He gave me a different dish with just the seafood. The chicken was actually decent! All dark meat with a nice brown sauce. Spoke too soon. Many inedible pieces. Reminded me of chicken surprise when i went to Beijing many years ago. If this is rated by many as the best chinese place in Holland I cant imagine the worst!

Not sure why this place had such great reviews.....food was so-so. The service was Horrible! Our server had an attitude and forgot several items that we ordered and gave them to us just as we were getting ready to leave. He seems so annoyed that he had to serve us.....and I must say that his tip (or lack of one) reflected his attitude. I mentioned something to the hostess and she didn't even apologize. I will say that the restaurant was clean.....so that was a plus. The food wasn't bad.....it just wasn't WOW. It lacked flavor....the hot and sour soup was greasy.......plus they didn't serve crisp noodles with it.

Food was delicious, really inexpensive. Like most Chinese places, large portions. Good service, fast and gave us ice water and a table to wait for our food. However, my boyfriend spicy schezuan beef, it was mostly vegetables and little beef, and he had no fortune in his cookie :( I understand that's not their fault, but still sad.

Best Chinese food in Holland hands down. One of the few places I feel really deserves 5 stars. I've literally been coming here for 20 years and it's the only Chinese in Holland that I'll eat. The owners are incredibly friendly, they always jokingly ask where a specific missing family members is if our normal order is missing something. You can't really go wrong with any of the orders there, we like the chicken and white sauce, crab rangoons, Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and more that I can't think of. Overall, great food, good prices, extraordinary service and one of my favorite places in Holland.

Wonderful food for the price you pay. They cook as if you were paying twice as much. So a very good deal in Dutch country. Service is timely, polite, and accurate. I have tried a variety of dishes including vegetarian with no regrets. All were prepared very well and tasty. The only downside to China Inn is that it attracts groups especially on the weekends. This can make it rather noisy. But still the staff keeps up quite well even then.

Best Chinese food in the area, if not the state. Lived here many years and Ex Wife brought me here the first time. At least something good come from it. I visit this place every time I am in town. Mongolian beef is my pick.

WARNING: MSG IS ADDED TO THE SAUCES. You may request that your dish be made without MSG. Be aware MSG sensitive people. They were very honest and upfront about adding this ingredient to their sauces as a flavor enhancer. They have fantastic food - I really do love this place, but since I had a reaction to the MSG that put me in the hospital and cost me $1,000 with insurance and 6 weeks to recover, I have not had chinese from any restaurant since... not worth the risk to me.

Best Chinese food in holland! I've been going there for years and it's amazing! I can. Never decide what to get because it's all delicious. The egg rolls are outstanding, the soup is incredible., and the entrees are amazing! I have no complaints and will continue to go there as long as it's still standing.

Most authentic Chinese food in West Michigan. We lived in China 13 years and ate in all regions. Many if the main dishes are similar to North China while also having dishes from South China. The portions are large and enough to take home and enjoy again!

For Holland, Michigan, decent Chinese food but they use way too much sauce in each dish. If you ask them to prepare your dish and go very light on the sauce, you will enjoy this place. Great won ton soup and Mongolian beef. This is likely the best Chinese Restaurant within 25 miles.

China Inn is the best Chinese restaurant. It's like mom's home cooking to me, no other Chinese restaurant can compare. The food is great!! I am a big fan of the Crab meat Rangoons. They are big and melt in your mouth. The flavor is a perfect balance. You must try them!! I also like their chicken with vegtables in brown sauce. The meat is almost shaved in thin strips so you don't get a bunch of grizzle in your mouth. Also they have a great lunch deal for all you Hollanders. Complete with fried rice( I get steamed) and two rangoons. Yum! I only get to go there once every few months since I live an hour away, but when I leave I am totally satisfied and looking forward to my next visit. If you love Chinese you must try them!! Also the owners are very sweet.

I went for lunch with my daughter and sister, and 3 grandsons. We found the service and food to be excellent. The price was even better! We spent 32.00 and all ate well, and even had several leftovers for another meal for several. They include soup, crab wontons with every entree.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
