West End bistro, sports bar, and billiards rolled into one large open area. When I visited on Saturday night the place was humming with people watching MSU trounce Purdue and playing billiards. Excellent bar. We had the Sicilian pizza which was more than enough for 4 people. menu 59west.com/westendmenu.h… This is part of a very large complex including catering/banquet facility, sports bar, and more

I've only been here a couple times through the years, and I cannot remember leaving disappointed. My oven is out so I ordered take out from here a couple times recently, the food was hot and exactly as ordered. The burgers and pizza are great, and appetizers are ok too. I would even consider doing an event here.

We have driven past this place a couple of times, without knowing that it was a sports bar/restaurant. We saw all the cars out front, and then we came back for great lake trivia (on Thursday night). it is located at the back of a strip mall, past the salvation army location. It's another big place with 15-20 billiard tables and a number of video games around the outside of the billiard tables. The dining area and bar are on the other side of the place, there is even a gym someplace in there. There are pretty good drink specials, with a good selection of beers on tap and in bottle. There are plenty of TV screens to watch uMultiple sporting events. The foods is pretty standard fare, more bar food then fine dining, but it fits the mood of the place.

This place is huge and oasis-like being an entertainment/food venue in the middle of nowhere, well the back portion of a hard to see shopping center up on a hill, along a 55 mph state highway. When you walk up you have three doors to walk into all leading eventually to the same building. One area is a Games area with billiards to video golf to Texas Hold'em, which adjoins a beautiful u-shaped bar that runs the full depth of the building and some high-top seating as well. Next to that, through glass doors, is a real nice large dining area with really good food and decent menu selections. The third area was a gym that closed but looked like a full service facilty. This is a great place for large company functions and family events and has a reception hall in the rear of the facility.

Not the best location ever, as it's located in the back of a strip mall with a Salvation Army store a drug store, grocery, etc... But that's just about the only negative... It is nice inside. Lots of pool tables, etc. Clean. Pleasant atmosphere. Good service. Good catering. But I really have to RAVE about the food! Really excellent food. Despite what one of the other reviews says, it's NOT typical 'bar food.' Not that I dislike bar food... but their food is really good restaurant fare. Eaten there several times. I don't think I've ever gotten the same thing here twice, and I've never had a dish here that I could complain about. We've taken several people there, and they were pleasantly surprised as well! It may be hard to spot, but don't miss this place! :)

I went there to shoot pool and watch sports on TV. Then I tried their food. wow it was great! Now sometimes I go just for dinner. You get a lot for your money and the taste is great. Pizza is awesome but my favorite is the Highlander pulled pork sub sandwich and if you still have room, the Chocolate Factory for dessert has 6 flavors of chocolate.
