The Dive. This is absolutely the dive. Best in the area super local following. Next to the tattoo place. The burgers are good, better when you drinking dollar beers, if you can get the specials. Straight up unpretentious, hi light after work.

Great burgers and great drink specials! My wife and I tried the weal burger and it was delicious! We've also been there for the fish fry and have enjoyed it! The price point is perfect. The Weal Inn is the type of place where everyone knows your name.

I went to the Weal Inn based on Kelly S.'s review. I was very excited to try the infamous Weal Burger. I have no idea what the hell she was talking about because, while the burger was sizable (1/2 lb.), it had ZERO taste and was drippy. I hate when the bottom bun gets way too soggy. The friend I went with agreed. She did not even finish hers halfway. It was $6.95 for the burger with toppings and chips and $1.25 extra for french fries. We got the fries and they were okay...I guess. 2 Burgers and fries with a singular draft beer was close to $19 (overpriced for the quality and environment). Honestly, we could've just went to Applebee's and fared better. The Inn itself was a larger-sized dark dive bar. Nothing real interesting or inviting. Maybe the chalkboard in the ladies bathroom. If you must go, try Tuesdays when they have a burger special. It was not worth the $6.95 or a return trip otherwise. Too bad because it's super close to my house. As for it needing a visit paid by the Travel and Food channel, well, Ms. Kelly S. must be smoking it up pretty good in addition to excelling at creative writing.

I like the Weal Inn. I don't know why, but I love a good dive bar. There is an upscale fancy new Sports bar right across the street called the Skybox. Want a cold beer and a really good bar burger? Weal Inn. Want overpriced beers and deep fried bar food and a bunch of digital TV's? Skybox. Weal Inn has the best bar burger in the area. If by chance you are in the mood for the best gourmet burger ever? Sparkies is across the street.

Who would have thought? The Weal has the WORLDS' BEST BURGERS! Passing along M-59 one day, we saw a sign for the weal special - $3 burgers by 6:00pm.....so, we decided to stop. The burger's are to die for....or live for...they are just amazing! I have had the regular Weal, The Weal with Cheese, and the Weal Swiss and mushroom. Out of this world! Side note: the fries are awesome and so are their Long Island Iced Teas :) Most definitely recommend! This place should be paid a visit by the Travel or Food channel :)
