We were in Hastings for a family reunion. We ate breakfast at three different restaurants while there. Mills Landing was our favorite. The food was great, the service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. This is definitely a locals restaurant, the servers knew everyone's names, birthdays, etc. The first day we were there we were treated like family. The second day we were there, we were recognized and acknowledged as coming back. How often does that happen. A true treasure of a restaurant.

I have been here a few times now for breakfast. I cannot vouch for anything other than that. As far as the breakfast goes I have been pleased so far. You will pay a couple bucks more than some of the other places in town. Very nice omelet selection, they have both waffles and pancakes too. They also do eggs Benedict which most places don't do. The place is always clean and the staff has always been friendly. If you want a good breakfast in a clean friendly restaurant swing in.

Standard breakfast place, nothing fancy or outstanding here. Just friendly small town service.

Great little restaurant. Had Sunday brunch on our anniversary. Wide selection of breakfast options. Pancakes, Waffles, different breakfast plates with combos of eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, potatoes, fixed in any combo you want. Toast? White wheat raisin etcs.... Eggs Benedict English muffins. You get the picture. They also have a note printed on the menu if you have a suggestion they will try their best and make it for you. Staff is super friendly and not just your waitress, everybody, even other patrons. It ain't much to look at outside but it's what's on the inside that really matters. Hours are short so call and make sure you can plan your visit.

This place is pretty adorable. Delicious as well. It's a local breakfast spot with great prices and tasty food. I had the English Hash (corned beef) b-fast sandwich w basted eggs. Really good. CBH and eggs cooked perfectly. My son enjoyed his pancakes and wife rocked the giant captains choice breakfast. Our server was as sweet as can be in this down home dining experience. This was just a nice breakfast adventure.

Holy omelet selections. I think I have had them all. They are all great. Very nice wait staff. The parking is kind of hairy, but worth it for a great breakfast.

Classic small town diner with great homemade food at great prices. Bacon is the extra thick type. Extra decorations for holidays. Nice place for breakfast to see others from town.

This morning was one of the nicest breakfast experiences we have ever had for our family. The waitresses were amazing. We have two little kids, 3 and 1, and the ladies treated them like one of their own. They were so kind and helpful. The restaurant is made up of a few w small rooms. I had a the main sail, I think. The eggs were made perfectly at over medium, and I asked for a special order of hash browns made extra crispy with onions. I am telling you this was made perfectly. This is not as easy as it seems because most places can't get it right. My wife had the city slicker omelette, she thought is was excellent but she couldn't eat it all. We ordered the sausage gravy biscuits for our son, and a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. She never had one before and preferred to steal from our breakfast, but my son got a bite and loved it, and I ate a bunch of the waffle and it was tasty. The food came out extremely fast, less than 10 minutes. Kudos to the cooks. I highly recommend this place. It is a family friendly place and I look forward to going again. I made sure I over tipped for our waitress.
