I always enjoy coming here. It's not a five star restaurant, but it's good home style food.

It took us forever to be seated, forever to order, the waitress brought the wrong drink and never came back to check on the table. The salad was iceberg lettuce. The food was mediocre when it finally came. Pretty much the worst restaurant in the casino. I would go to the steakhouse or the Coral Grille over this place any day. Ugh.

I have only stopped here for the free breakfast that is part of the package deal on our yearly bus trip to The Island Casino. It is simple (two eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee), straightforward, fast and free. How can it be anything but...A-OK? They are Wheelchair accessible and service is always pleasant.

Mediocre. Don't order the Cobb salad. Grilled chicken wasn't grilled, just cold pale white strips, forgot the blue cheese, stale shoestring potatoes, hardly any bacon. Edible but not satisfying. Shrimp scampi bland. Breadsticks dry.

The lettuce wrap appetizer was very good. It came with two sauces. The peanut satay sauce was especially good. My salmon with salsa was good but slightly overcooked so a tad dry. The mostly white rice was a bit bland - a wild or brown rice would be an improvement. The one dessert was very good and I was surprised that our waitperson told me that she would get me a dish of soft serve from the ice cream shop. Good of her to go out of her way like that since that is what I had a taste for.

Not too bad for a casino restaurant. Great salad bar, wonderful service and the food was pretty good. I ate there twice while I was staying at the casino, both times good. The Walleye Chowder was delicious! As was the grilled Walleye dinner.
