This is the best Chinese food I've ever had. I Highly recommend the white rice, terraki, General tso's chicken and the egg drop soup. They also have very good service I would recommend this if you want some thing easy and fast I will definitely come back again

We decided to try Dragon Court because it was close to home and the new building was nice. The food was awful but the service was very good. Flash forward a few years later, we decided to give this place another try. We ordered carry-out of Crab Rangoon, Chicken Lo Mien and Egg Rolls. The Crab Rangoon tasted like the cheese was rancid and wasn't edible. The Lo Mien was completely tasteless and the egg rolls were okay. Again, we were very disappointed and will never return or recommend Dragon Court to our friends. It's too bad because it's a nice place and there are not a lot of restaurants in the immediate area which makes this place very convenient for the locals. We will stick to one of the Chinese establishments in Brighton from now on.

Great food and always great service. We've been supporting this business for years and will continue to do so. I am never disappointed when I get home with my takeout orders from here. Portions are great and everything is so so tasty! We love Dragon Court!

Great Chinese food, our family has been eating take out from there for years now. It's really that simple, great food, fast service, and a lot of food for the money.

My glowing review of Dragon Court isn't alone. After moving to the area 10 years ago, we looked for awhile to find a good chinese resturant. A few were "eh", most were never returned to. And then one day we took a chance on Dragon Court, the staff is always so friendly, and the food is fantastic! Almond chicken is the standby when I can't make up my mind. But even when I try something new, it's always great!!!!

I'm writing this review as I'm sitting in Denver, CO craving Dragon Court. Growing up, my family always went to Dragon Court for Chinese. When I moved to Ann Arbor, I would always pick this up on the way back to my parent's house. Service is always super friendly. Food has always been fresh and delicious. Now that I live out of state, I am finding out that apparently Almond Chicken is not a universal dish, and nobody does Almond Chicken like Dragon Court. I get extreme cravings for it and NO Chinese restaurant here has the equivalent. Another item of not is their soft dinner rolls that you get with take out. Egg drop soup is always yummy. This place is on the top of my list to visit when we are back in Michigan this summer.

People are so nice, and service is so speedy! Take-out is always quick and always exactly what you ordered. Great experience from right when you walk in, and great food to go with it. Great orange chicken and beef and broccoli. Owners are SO friendly.

Best Chinese food I've ever had...LITERALLY! Amazing tasting food in the middle of nowhere town. Was blown away immediately by the quality of my food on my first visit. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for great Chinese, seeing as the quality of Chinese places in Howell is poor in my opinion, this place is well worth the drive. Dinner and lunch portions are perfect with enough for leftovers too. The Generals chicken is my favorite. I also recommend the sweet and sour chicken and almond chicken. Always start the meal off with the delicious pork dumplings, which are to die for. Also the service is A++. The Chinese lady is really nice and she always makes sure I have everything I need and am satisfied. Overall this place is flawless. 5/5 stars hands down.

My favorite Chinese restaurant, anywhere on Earth. My family and I have been going to Dragon Court since it opened, twenty-odd years ago. It has been owned by the same family all this time, and it shows. There is great attention to detail, excellent service, and consistently well prepared, delicious food. I live in San Francisco now. I have a lot of options when it comes to Chinese cuisine, and plenty of them are certainly more authentic than the Midwestern-ized Cantonese that Dragon Court serves, but they are not better. I pine for their hot and sour soup, egg rolls, beef with broccoli and almond chicken.

I've come here for a number of years. Used to think it was great until an extremely unfriendly service experience. After that I don't come here anymore

I have been coming here for more than ten years with my family and even though I have moved to the other side of the country, it is considered a necessity to stop here for food every time I am in town. Other than the food being excellent, and by far the best Chinese food in the area, the staff is always exceptionally attentive and friendly. Strongly strongly commend it.

This place is the absolute best when it comes to Chinese food! I've been coming here since I was a kid(18 years ago!). Off at school now, but I still come and grab some carry out every time I come home to visit. None of the Chinese restaurants near me now even compare to the food here. Having lived Brighton, I am surrounded by 5 different Chinese restaurants within a 5-10 minute radius. However, I never hesitate to make the 15 minute trip to get my spicy Hunan chicken combo with a hot and sour soup. The staff here are always quick and courteous. Get the Hot and Sour soup! I also recommend the Hunan Triple or Mongolian Triples(chicken, shrimp and beef!) for those meat lovers out there. Also lovin' the Pepper Steak and the Spicy fried shrimps. yummm.

Been coming to Dragon Court for years. The food is excellent. Take out is also a great way to go. Service is good. Love the Mongolian Triple. Restaurant is clean. Portions are good and prices are good too. Miss their weekend breakfasts. Best Chinese in the area. Great for take out.

They serve American breakfast and the Eggs Benny and super crispy home fries were the best around, even Ann Arbor. Just amazing food.

Hands down, the best Chinese restaurant I have been to. The vegetables are ultra-fresh and the meat is top quality. The cooking of all dishes is always perfect. Service is phenomenal, the servers and owners truly care about your dining experience and the quality of your meal. If looking for carry-out, they always provide the correct sauces, impeccable packaging, and supreme speed of service. The egg rolls are perfected in every way and their unique house duck sauce far surpasses the typical one found in any other chinese restaurant. If you're a meat eater - the sweet and sour chicken cannot be matched by any other chinese restaurant. If you're a vegetarian - the Buddhist Delight is amazing! Great mushrooms. Long story short - I live in Ann Arbor but come out this way for this amazing Chinese dining experience. Also, great for large groups and those who might desire a full bar.

This place is wonderful. We moved out to Whitmore Lake about 6 months ago and wondered where our go-to Chinese would be. Read the reviews and gave it a try. Food is hot, fresh and delicious. Waitress paid attention to us and gave us great service. Prices are reasonable. There was a constant stream of take-out orders going as well. Keep up the good work!

After quite a few recommendations, we had the General Tso's Chicken, a Sweet and Sour Chicken, Egg Rolls, Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon, and the rolls. Everything was excellent; especially their fried rice. My only complaints are that the crab rangoons were a bit over cooked and that the general tso's chicken was not what I expected. General Tso's Chicken is usually my go to dish when we eat Chinese food, but felt it was way too sweet and had zero spiciness to it. Despite that, we will definitely go back in the near future and try some of their other dishes.

Dine in or carry out - we always love our selection. They always make any requested omissions or replacements with no hassle. Fresh veggies and egg rolls that are not crammed with filler.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
