Beautiful dining area and friendly staff. I wanted to be impressed, but the food was slow to arrive and not great. We both ordered the perch basket, and the fries and fish both tasted like they had been precooked and warmed until served to us. On the other hand, my 14 year old son ordered the flourless chocolate tart, and it was great.

We went to the 57 bistro while in greenville for a track event at Grattan raceway. The pizza was awesome. Wood fired pizza with fresh ingredients. They had whole roasted garlic cloves as a topping. You don't see this very often. At our first visit I ordered a pepperoni, garlic and mushroom pizza with the red garlic sauce. The blend of flavors and seasonings was perfect. It was so good we went back the next day on our way home. They do have other food choices as well. Check out their menu on yelp. Overall great experience. Service was great as well. Waitress was on top of keeping our drinks refilled. Definitely check out this place when in town.

Visiting Greenville and decided to try the Brew Pub. Walked in on Memorial Day about 3:30 to find nobody at the hostess stand so we seated ourselves at the bar. Restaurant was not busy but plenty of staff moving around doing nothing. There wasn't anybody behind the bar and after not be recognized by any of the staff for over 5 minutes we left. Very sad for a town that has little to offer. We did go to Applebee's and had excellent service and a descent dinner. I hope that things improve because it is a very nice facility!

We stopped off at 57 Brew Pub & Bistro in Greenville on an icy December night. I wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised with the food, the drinks, and the service. Since it is billed as a brew pub, I had to try the beer. Both the Yellow Jacket Stinger Honey Ale and the Mayan Midnight Stout were delicious. The stout was very chocolaty while the amber ale was hoppy with a smooth finish. For dinner we ordered two wood fired pizzas: the Tivoli's Garden and the Maui Maui. The Tivoli's Garden was the better of the two. It had a white sauce, tomatoes, red onions, artichokes, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, and goat cheese. It was also sprinkled with truffle infused sea salts! The Maui Maui was pretty good too but didn't include truffle infused sea salts. Our dessert was a Chai crème brule. This unique melding of cultures resulted in a surprisingly good flavor combination. My dining companion grew up in the local area and made several comments during dinner. They amused me so I noted them down and have listed them below. She'll probably strangle me if she finds out I posted them online. "I don't think ever before in the history of Montcalm County has anything with goat cheese or truffle salts appeared on a menu." "If I lived here I would eat here every day. I would be like Norm on Cheers." "Oh my god, that's so cheap!" - Upon seeing total on the bill. "I hope the locals appreciate this place and keep it in business, dang it!" "What do you think people from Greenville are called? Greenvillians?" - She may have enjoyed the brews even more than I did. 57 Brew Pub & Bistro has big city menu items like goat cheese pizzas but retains the small town feel. When passing through the area again, I'll definitely be stopping by to sample more of their offering, both food and beer.

Just avoid this rip off. You will be glad you did. Billed us for extra for pizza toppings after taking two off. Then billed for extra salsa $1 when they don't provide enough. Extremely disappointed. This place has so much potential to be run this badly.

This is not good. Why is this place busy? Bad overpriced beer & food. I have never seen white colored smoked salmon. Must be so incredibly rare for it to cost almost $10 for a 1/4 cup of it mixed with mayo. LOL "pate"! I think they're skirting the law & feeding you unicorn meat instead. Thanks for the government cheese quesadilla. What a treat! Your beer quality matches the food perfectly. (Also, I recommend you read Yelp's " not recommended " reviews. Some pretty good info there.)

My first time at 57 left a lot to be desire. First off and most importantly I bought 2 meals this included 2 appetizers salads and entrees the bill was 65ish and both my wife and I left hungry. The portion size was small. We ordered the pub cheese , which was about 1/2 a cup of cheese and around 8 pita triangles for 7-8 bucks. Good but over priced for what you get. We also got the wing-dings with buffalo sauce, the sauce amounted to thickened red hot .this isn't the worst thing but a bit of butter and a touch if honey would went a long way. Just about any place has better wings. The salad course was fine. The entrees were the most disappointing. My wife and I both ordered the specials, the lobster tail and prime rib. OK is a good description of the quality and taste. I have had better of both, each came with a small dollop of mashed potatoes and 4 of the saddest most over cooked asparagus spear you have ever seen. They were around 20ish each and really just a horrible small portions. The couple we were with both commented on not getting enough to eat. In the end this place is middle of the road fair at best and if it was any place but a small town like Greenville it would not last. I am in no hurry to go back.

Stopped here on the way to the racetrack... It was just okay. I was hoping for so much more. The pita cheese dip appetizer is service refridgerator cold. It had good flavor but woud be better as a warm dip. Mahi taco was okay...the salsa could have been drained more. It ran all over the plate and made the second taco and fries soggy. Steak was not restaurant quality. It was jsut okay food. Service was good...and the ice tea was fresh. I wouldn't make a special trip to drive an hour to eat here but if I found myself in Greenville, I would give them another try. The table next to use all had desserts that looked tasty.

Seems to have really gone down hill. We really enjoyed it when it first opened but our most recent visits have been less than stellar. I had the cod basket. The fish portion was small and the fries were soggy. My son had the Bison Burger that he used to enjoy, but this time it was obviously a frozen patty. The atmosphere is nice, I just wish the food and service would once again match it.

We had a great time there. They explained the beer menu and told us what they were about. The pizza came out a little burned, but they caught it before they served it to us and made a new fresh one. I'm a pizza snob and it was really good. The crust was chewy, the bottom crisp. We even took a growler home. I will go back for sure.

Stopped for a drink on a slow weekday evening. The decor, especially the fire place right at the entrance, is nice and warm feeling. The atmosphere is laid back and the bartenders were really nice. We ordered most of the beers they brew and overall they were damn good. We didn't order any food, but looking at the food being served looked delicious. I also noticed they have a brick oven, so my choice most likely would've been one of their pizza.

57 Brew Pub really impressed me. Great ambiance, food and brews. The mac & cheese with chicken and bacon was fantastic. I tried the Dark Knight Stout, Red Shedman's Amber Ale, Victory Double IPA, and Yellow Jacket Stinger Honey Ale. Of those, the Yellow Jacket stood out as the most intriguing. Highly recommended!

This place is a real gem in Greenville. Phenomenal food. Both the brewery and kitchen are viewable to the public, and really neat for families with kids. Go for the beer sampler (yellow jacket honey ale was fantastic) and definitely try one of their wood fire pizzas.

We've been here a few times and the first few visits were mediocre. The last time we went was terrible. We had reservations for 8, got a table 20 minutes later. I was with a party of 8, the first server was very nice and helpful, but we found out they sent her home after she did our drink order. Our second server was terrible. She forgot to bring our refills, our silverware, and our appetizers. We had to walk up to the bar to get our own drinks. She did not have experience with tables our size. I ordered a pizza, and thought it was good until the third bite when i found the dough was still raw. Our party had 3 different checks, they were all wrong. The server went to correct them and brought them back wrong a second time. She corrected them a thrid time and they were still wrong. We just ended up paying them to avoid any more time standing in there. We were there almost 2 hours. I would not recommed this place to anyone. One positive, the raspberry beer was good.

We had prompt & excellent service, and the food was great. I had the Olive Burger with onion rings. Washed it down with a Honey Ale which I also enjoyed very much. 57 Brew will definitely on our list the next time we're in the area.

Greenville has needed this for such a long time! While on vacation to visit my family back here I went twice--once for lunch and once for dinner. For lunch I had the fish tacos--they looked ordinary when they were served, but they tasted great; the fish was cooked perfectly. For dinner I had the walleye & our table ordered a bunch of appetizers. Everything was good. We were a larger, loud group and our server Kelly (?) did a great job keeping up with us (even though the place was packed). One problem, someone ordered a rueben & she had to ask for sauce 3 times to 3 different people, and by the time she got it the rest of us were pretty much done. They did offer us complimentary dessert, but we were full at that point. I was surprised that the manager on duty didn't offer something other than that as she was aware of the situation. Just a small thing, but it's clear they are a young, growing business & everyone I was with agreed we hope they stick around! Oh, and the biggest plus--they make great beer you can't get anywhere else!

Hamburgers was dry an charred, house beers was not nothing to brag about. Only good part of the whole meal was the waitresses. Grant you it was it's grand opening so let's hope they get more on the ball with time. But for the food an price a fast food joint would be better for the price to food ratio.

This was a new dining experience. Went to try the beer and vast menu. We tried the Bistro Burger and BLT. The burger comes with fries and the BLT comes with choice of sm. salad or cole slaw. The cole slaw is great but the burger needs some work. Ordered med. rare and came out extremely well-done. Disappointing. We also tried a beer flight sampler. This was a great decision because the owner's spent a great deal making this pub work. They have a great beer selection and the brewer knows his trade well. This is a good start and I will return to try again. Maybe then I can recommend it.

I really enjoyed dinner here. The food was expertly prepared and the chef even made a special effort to make a tasty and creative meal for my vegan sister. The beer was also great and I loved that they had a sampler option so I could try a few of them.

This is a great restaurant for Greenville. Most of the places I eat at in Gr should take notes from 57. The open kitchen is a nice touch. The restaurant was clean and modern inside and the service staff was friendly. Knowledge of the menu and attention to detail needed a little work on our servers part tho. I admit I'm being a little critical but that's part of what coast them a fifth star. We sat on the patio for dinner it was very nice, quiet, and comfortable. Salad were good as were the wings I preferred the buffalo sauce over the peanut just my opinion . But a dollar a wing is a little much I thought. I had dinner with two friends I had a burger and one friend had a Rubin they were both good. The third dinner had the fish tacos which came two to an order. The tacos were served in hard shells which makes them a little hard to eat and the portion of fish way out of line. Not exaggerating between the two of them I would say less than four ounces. I will go back next I'm in the area and would recommend a visit to my friends. Just not for the tacos
