Are you like me and have a problem keeping your Roadhouses straight? This is the one with cinnamon butter. We had good service and the food was properly prepared. The portions are large as well. The only negatives are that it was quite loud and their BBQ seems lacking.

The steak here is pretty good- the rolls here are pretty amazing- the free nuts are pretty nuts- and the country music playing in the background is pretty gangsta. Overall my little growing family likes to eat here and im more then happy with the atmosphere

Arrived at 3:59PM, The doors were locked as they do not open until 4pm. So we waited. There is a buzzer on the outside of the door so the servers can be Buzzed in before 4pm. It was now 4:07pm and 3 servers had to be buzzed in, My family proceeded to the door and they would not let us in. I asked the server what was going on and she had no answer. So I had no choice but to leave, we ended up at Logans which is 100,000% better food and prices, This was our 1st attempt to try this place. So SAD they lost a potential customer because they can not open on time. Also what type of Casual Steakhouse opens at 4pm on a Friday, As a Business Owner I only can imagine how many Millions they lose every year opening after 4 pm. T Roadhouse is just a casual steakhouse nothing Special its not like its the Chophouse or Ruth Chris. Get your act together and open earlier.

Food was great. The mushroom jack chicken sandwich was delicious. Server was a little flakey but very nice. Made sure we knew what came on everything, which was good because I don't like onions. Steak fries were kinda soggy, edible but not fantastic. Drive is kinda hard to find the first time you go there. Not a fan of the fairly loud country music. Bathrooms were clean but cramped.

Family and I were looking for a place to eat around 10PM and my sister recommended us to check this place out. This place is a casual and laid back place for college students. (Bunch of TV's with different basketball games) Once we were seated, we were given a huge bucket of peanuts with some baked buns. Since this place is known for their steak, I decided to order the New York Strip. For my sides I ordered mash potatoes and steak fries. Since it was late, we received our plates fairly quick. The portions were huge! My steak was a tad overcooked, but it was still a decent steak. The sides were mediocre but the FREE buns they served were amazing! At Texas Roadhouse, you definitely get your bang for your buck. Huge portions, unlimited buns and peanuts at an affordable price. If you're looking for a place to grab a bite and a couple beers this is a great place to come to!

Had a great meal here and great service too. For starters we ordered the rattlesnake bites and they were really good, and spicy. They give you rolls with some kind of cinnamon butter which is awesome ... Plus the standard bucket of peanuts while you wait for your food. I had the ribs, loaded baked potato and corn. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the sauce was great. The loaded baked potato was perfect. The corn was.... Corn. Our waitress was really nice - a sweet younger girl that did her job perfect. I would recommend this place for their ribs if you haven't tried them yet. My experience was very good!

Since we have been back in MI (about 4 months now), Texas Roadhouse has had the best quality of steak out of all the other steakhouses. The meat is tender and cooked to the right temperature. No tough hockey pucks here. You can also go pick out your own cut of meat out of the case. Each meal comes with their glorious rolls and cinnamon butter. I can probably eat a meal solely out of these. Our niece loved them so much that was all she ate. If you come for your birthday, they will have you "saddle up", which means sitting on their saddle while they tell the rest of the patrons that it is your birthday and to give a big "yeehaw". My sister-in-law got a bowl of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup on it. Our server was super friendly and nice. He made sure to check up on us to ensure happiness.

4*'s for the delicious buttery rolls with the cinnamon butter! The best roll, quite possibly, on the entire planet! Wait staff quick friendly and responsive and their steak is high quality cooked to your preference and they'll actually let you cut it to check if it's done to your taste before they serve it.

Normally Good food & decent prices. BUT beware if you order take out!! Our blooming onion sat on the warming shelf for 40 minutes before our order was ready to go (we only ordered the onion and rolls! We placed the order in house & waited this is how we know how long it sat there). It was soggy & disgusting. We ordered a half dozen rolls and received only 4. We should have checked the order before we left!!!!

Had not been to this Texas Roadhouse for quite some time and was pleased with both the service and the food. Everything was cooked the way we had ordered it and our server was wonderful.

I was expecting this to be pretty similar to Logan's Roadhouse and it definitely was about an identical experience. There were some high points and some low points to our visit so if my experience was typical for this restaurant then your decision to come here will need to be based on whether it's more important to have excellent steak or excellent side dishes. It's a steak house so I'll talk about the steaks first. This was the low point of our meals. I ordered mine cooked medium and my sister ordered hers medium well. The good news is yes my meat was cooked to about the perfect temperature. The bad news is that it came swimming in a puddle of blood on my plate. I'm not a squeamish person, but my sister sure was turned off by the appearance of my plate. It's too bad they didn't take the time to wipe the excess blood off the plate prior to sending it out to us. My sisters steak was ordered medium well and it came out very well done which gave it a very tough texture. The most surprising thing to me was that they apparently didn't use any type of spices when cooking their meats which makes for a bland eating experience. So for those reasons I'd say if steak is more important than the side dishes to you then you may want to go to the nearby Logan's Roadhouse. My sister also got a small side of ribs with her meal and it actually turned out to be a very generously sized side portion and most importantly she said it was very good and with no effort she could easily pull the bones out of the meat very easily so they were definitely fall off the bones tender so they excelled in that area. Where this restaurant beat out Logan's Steakhouse is in the flavor of their side dishes. I had the mashed potatoes with white gravy (oh so good!) and green beans and both were excellent! My sister had the green beans and a backed potato and she enjoyed both of those side dishes. Another side item where this place beat Logan's was their dinner rolls. They have a slightly yeastier flavor than Logan's and for my taste preferences you just can't get a roll yeasty enough to satisfy my cravings. Our server was friendly and attentive to our needs even though we were there on a Friday evening during the peak of their supper rush so that was another aspect of our good experience. Overall a good experience and I foresee myself returning here. For me the side dishes were good enough that even though the steaks were somewhat lacking I'd still prefer this place over Logan's. If the steak is the most important aspect to you (which for most people it probably is since it is a steak house) then you may want to consider Logan's instead or maybe try the Texas Roadhouse to see if maybe our experience with the steaks was just a one time fluke.

This should probably be 3 1/2 stars. The ambiance here is quite nice. Very wooden. Just what I imagine a regular texas pub would look like. I ordered a Ribeye Steak & Ribs. I got a House Salad with french dressing and Loaded Mashed Potatoes. For a drink I got a Red Raspberry Lemonade. Also rolls came with the meal. The rolls were very good. The steak was weak but not bad. The seasoning was overpowering. The steaks are bettet than Brann's but nowhere near as good as Logans. The Ribs are good but nothing special. Much better than Logan's but nowhere near as good as Brann's or Smokey Bones. The salad was very good and the dressing was well above average. The mashed potatoes were very good, nothing unique but very good. The best part of the meal was the red raspberry lemonade which was outstanding. While nothing was really bad and the service was very good and very friendly I doubt I'll be back. Unless someone else wants to go then I'll be ok with going back.

This was the only place open within walking distance of my hotel when I arrived in town late on a Sunday night. Friendly fun service, and quite the options for stop-your-heart food. Before I even ordered, there was a huge bucket of peanuts and four freshly baked buns (with what I can only assume a huge proportion of butter in it's recipe) was at my table to keep me from getting grumpy and hungry. The beer was cheap and cheerful (and HUGE), and the steak was inexpensive and edible. The only thing I would not recommend is the green beans. For some reason I imagined haricourt verts, which was really naive of me, and when I got garlic soaked spongy beans on the side drenched in butter, I then remembered I was at a roadhouse, not a stuffy French restaurant. For a quick filling dinner under $20, if you're a meat-centric diner, you won't be disappointed coming here.

Consistently amazing service, amazing food, fantastic place to have a birthday party. They make the person sit on a saddle and yell yee-haw! My wife and I split the 18oz T-bone and it was more than enough. Highly recommended!

Not my type of restaurant. Very, very expensive for the food you get and for what the atmosphere provides. Felt like all the employees were a bunch of high-school kids. Food just seemed to be poor quality or very poorly cooked.

Veery, veery nice! I had the farm raised fried catfish and it was cooked perfectly. One of the truths of life is, most places do not know how to cook fish. Especially fried fish. And they nailed it at Texas Roadhouse in Grandville. The sweet potatoes were excellent. My 13 year old daughter had some barbeque but decided Famous Daves had the upperhand on the barbeque. My 15 year old daughter had the sirloin beef tips and did not care for them too much. A little to tough. I tasted her seasoned mashed potatoes and they were even better than the sweet potatoes. Other folks at our table raved about the food. It was a fun place, the noise level is a few decibels below Red Robin Hamburgers, which is so loud you can hardly speak. We missed the employees line dance which I hear happens frequently. We are definitely going back.

This Texas Roadhouse is located just a mile from my house, but this was my first - and last - visit there. My husband and I went there on date night. Both the hostess and the waitress told us about how awesome their rolls are and promised to bring some out as soon as they were done. The waitress took our order for a burger, the boneless wings appetizer, and a sweet potato on the side - and then she disappeared for 30 minutes while we watched other people get seated with the bread brought right to their table. There were a couple of times when the waitress would walk by our table, look at us, but not stop long enough to acknowledge us. About the third time she did that, she stopped and turned back toward the kitchen, returning with our meals. We had apparently been forgotten as my wings were luke warm and soggy and the ranch dressing was the same temperature as the wings. We finally asked for those "legendary" rolls that both the waitress and the hostess raved about and the waitress responded, "Oh, you want bread?" My husband and I found both the service and the food quality to be lacking and we see no reason to return. Back to Logan's we go!
