The prime rib is a Friday favorite and 3 of our party of 4 had that while one had the almond walleye. We love the food here, especially the cauliflower purée and the adult Mac and cheese.

Many people think Rush Creek Bistro is a private restaurant of Sunnybrook Country Club, but it is open to the public! If you live in the area or are near the mall, it is a great alternative to chain restaurants. The menu reflects an effort to have food that appeals to anyone yet is not necessarily run-of-the-mill. There are entrees as well as sandwiches and salads. There is usually some kind of featured special as well. Prices are as reasonable as at any chain, and in my opinion, the food is better and has more of the handmade effort toward it. The atmosphere is generally quiet and the dining room overlooks the golf course. They also have Sunday brunch, which is affordable as well.

Very impressed! Steak melted in my mouth. Mahi Mahi was very fresh. This was our first time and we will definitely go back! Waiter was great too.

Lunch there today for 6 of us at 12pm. First off...thanks to Jim our waiter. He had many tables to wait on and he never neglected us and went out of his way. Loved the artichoke dip with pita chips...those chips are awesome! All in all, everyone happy with food from omelettes and salads...I had the prime rib skillet. Would order that again. Great flavor and plenty to eat with toast.

I wasn't sure what to expect given that I was coming here for a surprise birthday party. I didn't know it was a restaurant at the golf course, which made me drive right past the location. It is a nice place, and I wished I had dressed up a little more. The staff here is great. They try hard and they are really responsive given that we were two tables that amounted to 30 people. We were able to order whatever appetizers we wanted from the menu, but were limited to entrees given the size of our group. I had a glass of red wine and went to town on half the buffalo chicken nachos, which were delicious. I think I could have eaten that as my meal on my own. I did also order the prime rib as it is probably one of the most popular items, and it was pretty delicious. It was cooked medium just as I like it. The green beans were pretty good, but the mashed potatoes were a little too firm in texture for my taste. The prices are reasonable as well.

We used to live right down the street so we have been here several times. If I had written a review of this place a year ago, it would have easily received 4 stars instead of three. The last two visits were a little disappointing. We waited a long time for our food. My wife's omelette was hot and very good. My Pretzel ham sandwich was missing Dijon mustard which is listed on the menu, and my truffle fries had very little truffle on them. I have had truffle fries here several times before and they are awesome so when I tasted these I was very disappointed. Bottom line is, they struggle with consistency. Our server was very attentive art least!

Something changed. Me and my wife have been coming here for years and the food /service has been great. The last time I came was winter of 2015. My wife and I visited tonight, ordered walleye and bacon wrapped pork tenderloin and it's way different. Prepared different than described on the menu, dry, tough...it's the same menu, same prices, but it's like a different place. Even the staff was not friendly and the guy meeting us at the front was sort of sloppy. You've lost a regular customer. Not coming back. Not for what it cost me.

The food is excellent and prices are fair. It has a very nice dining room with an awesome view of the golf course. The service is pretty good. The wait staff could refill water glasses without being asked. That would be nice.

As a disclaimer, we ate here at 10 pm as the kitchen was closing - which we didn't know since their Yelp says they're open until 11. We asked the waitress if this was a problem and took the initiative to offer to go elsewhere. She insisted it was fine. We stayed and honestly our food was pretty awful. My burger and fries were barely warm. My wife's French onion soup was barely palatable. Her salad was the only good item either of us had. For a $25 meal, this is one of the few times I've felt ripped off at a restaurant. I suppose lesson learned - if ever in this situation again well just go elsewhere. However, if a restaurant is either unwilling or incapable of offering the same quality of a meal to a customer as they normally would, the onus is on them to say so, especially when the customer asks if it will be an inconvenience.
