Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Was here the first night and the beer was a little funky. According to my bartender Kate I had just misses the rush. Stayed past closing with another couple discussing beer with the owner Ron. Very nice guy. Today is my first time back sine thwn amd heard that they had changed out the kegs. The beer is much better then opening night. Everyone should come back down to give it a try. I believe you will be very surprised at the change. Nice place, love the bar and floor, needs a couple more decorations but that can come with time. I hear that the pizza is great.

Great beer, great food, great atmosphere. But our service was awful service! Our waitress right off the bat said she would "try" and help me find a beer. Took forever to have her come back to our table. Asked for a water and finally had to go up to the bar and get one amd go back up for a refill. Not sure if we will be back.

I've been here a few times since I've moved back to Grandville and the food, service and beer is awesome! I will definitely be going more often!
(5)Adam G.
I promised and update to here goes. Last night the pizza was good. They had some new ones we got the BBQ Chicken and the Pesto Chang-o. Both came out crispy and cooked much better this time. My last one must have been a fluke. I'm still trying to like the beer. Both the stout and the porter were "okay". Not bad at all, but nothing to write home about either. I hear they are going to have some other beers soon.

I was having a good time till my car almost got towed in the adjoining parking. It would of been nice if we were warned about that inconvenience. But other that the food was a little above average.
(2)Rob B.
Great beers. Fun, chatty staff. Had a good, relaxing time here on lunch. The food was decent bar food as well. Pulled pork was good, chips were great, and the macaroni salad was awesome. but let's be serious, it's all about the beer. Nice samples, good prices, open for lunch. The vixen beer was DELICIOUS! Would love to visit again!
(4)Michael A.
Been here multiple times. The service has been poor each of those times. Which is surprising because it's never been that busy. The food is nothing to write about. The beer is decent, but completely overrated. I tried to like this place, but this is just another place jumping on the craft beer blow up around town. Do yourself a favor and stay home with a better beer.

I had the Oakstown Amber. It was FLAT and/or watered down. The taste is pretty bland no flavor. Tastes like someone made it out of their basement. Although, I like the atmosphere and the layout but so far off of one beer not impressed. Definitely cannot compare to a Bells Amber or other local breweries Amber Ales. I will try them all but the FLAT Amber has really put a bad taste in my experience. I feel like I can only go up from here.. ===========UPDATE=============== Holy Cow! The PIZZA is amazing!!! 12" for 12$ not bad. Get the Farmers!! Corn on Pizza was fabulous!! Who knew?! Side note I had the Big Spring Stout.. Still Flat and watery. So WATCH OUT!!!! Seriously though the PIZZA is totally worth coming here!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a flight of the 6 main stays. Every one of these were very drinkable and enjoyable. The Sol Seeker is going to be a very nice summer beer. (When it warms up around here) I also tried the Best Day Ever. This Double Ipa definitely stood up to its name! I was very happy after I drank a sample of that glass of heaven! The cheese bread and pizza made this place complete for me... I was fortunate enough to meet the owners, and that made me even more of a fan. Very nice couple, with a passion for beer, their home town, and making people smile.
(5)Roberto T.
Staff is friendly and knowledgable in craft beers. Food is fresh and delicious, would recommend the pulled pork nachos and any of their pizza's. Beats the overcrowded brewery's in Grand Rapids by a landslide
(5)Thomas C.
Visited to taste some beers and was not disappointed. Had a flight and some singles (no food, but they have a full food menu), and thought all of the beers were quite good. The owner was our bartender, and it was really nice to hear the story of the place. Well worth a trip.

I will SO give this place another chance as I know they are working out all the kinks. My first impression is it is REALLY LOUD! Could not hear myself think...not from music just from chatter of all the patrons. Service was AWESOME....friendly, knowledgeable. I liked the beer. I had the "shandy style"...sorry, I forgot the name. We ordered two pizza's and a salad. Food was great, just took too long to come out. We will be back!!!
(3)David M.
Good beer, good pizza....but the service is miserable. Takes 20 minutes to get beer and another 30 for food, another hour for your checks.
(2)Suzanne K.
Very good beer, excellent pizza, service and the best roasted red pepper humus!! We will definitely be back!
(4)Yahaira A.
I just ordered a pizza today, and it looks like they change their pizza dough. I don't like the new dough it is think and not well cook. Can't believe they change it, terrible mistake.
(2)Amy M.
Decent brewery for the area. Pizza was pretty good; we ordered one of the specials while we were there and it was better than I expected. I'll probably never come here again (we live closer to downtown and there are better bars/breweries closer to us), and not because we didn't like it. It just was nothing special. A non-desript building that happens to serve beer. Staff is pretty young and clueless about basic customer service. Smiling and saying hello goes a long way.
(3)Rochelle L.
I love the beer and I love the food. My husband and I have gone here almost every Friday night for pizza and beer for the past 6 weeks because we live nearby and they are never that busy. I can't give it a five simply because just about every time we go, we get ignored. They seem to seat us in an area where the servers have no idea who it belongs to...They walk by and walk by and clearly can see we have the food menu and beer sheet. My husband is so sweet and just wants to wait it out .. I've had to ask for help a few times .. and I have seen the servers get frustrated with each other. This is a beautiful facility, great crowd but the servers may need a bit more training in the customer service area. BE AWARE of everyone, even if they are not in your area.. If they are sitting with menus ask them "do you have any questions and have you been helped"?! It's not that hard to do!
(4)John B.
The pizza here is fantastic! They even allowed us to create a pizza comprised of two specialty halves, if you know what I mean. Service was prompt and friendly. Beer was delicious, well, the Riverbend that I had two of was great. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who loves beer and pizza.
(5)Adam B.
Ron, Mindy, and their team at Osgood are top notch. Love the beer (my personal fav being Best Day Ever). Every time I've gone the customer service has been great. Very attentive and friendly. I would encourage anyone to swing by for a pint. You won't be disappointed!
(5)Kerry F.
Utterly average. When craft beer is nearly on every corner, any local brewery is going to have to take it up a notch to stand out. Osgood didn't. Our service was OK but that was about it. Their beer selection is limited and caters very much to the hophead crowd. Even my stout tasted thin and really reminded me much more of a black IPA. My husband got the blonde and he said it was just meh. The food can best be described as "leftover potluck." Have you ever gone to a potluck when the food has been out for a while, everything is room temperature and tastes kinda blah? That was dinner. My husbands Shroom Boom sandwich was bland and the chips served with it were bottom of the bag broken pieces that left his plate covered in grease. The spinach artichoke dip was also flavorless, barely warm and the tortilla chips served with it were stale. There seemed to be no love in the food, nor the establishment. We were underwhelmed and the fact that the place was nearly empty showed that maybe we are not alone in thinking so.
(2)John A.
If this was the only microbrew around, I'd give it higher stars for uniqueness and effort. But given that GR is a microbrew Mecca, you gotta step up your game to avoid being average. Charlie Work beer was sour and yeasty, though the 358 and razz burry were nice. The only reason I'd go here is location... Save me the ride downtown or out to Perrin. Give people a reason to come here other than convenience.
(3)Elaine W.
The waitstaff was amazingly friendly, particularly Nancy. The beer was okay. The wings were very good - smoked, not that deep fried crap you get elsewhere. The pizza was mediocre -- way too greasy. (We got the special of the day with asparagus, jalapeño and pesto.). The crust should have been crisper, and we should have been able to taste the pesto more. They need to expand the menu beyond pizza.
(3)Benjamin M.
Hadn't been here yet and just thought I'd check it out since we were in the area. We for a sampler of six beers. In short, there's a lot of breweries in West Michigan and none of the beers were bad but nothing stood out as something I would want a pint of. Overall ambience seems a bit blah. If I lived around the area, I might check out the pizza even though they sound rather bizarre , but I can't see a reason to go back for the beer
(2)Tim L.
I am upgrading my review from 3 to 4 stars since they have taken care of the flatness. Looking forward to new seasonal and oak aged beer. Their mainstays are textbook beer. Their amber stands out a little and is my favorite so far. The rest are dictionary versions of stout, porter, pale, ipa and wheat. Just solid beer. Daily food specials are fun. Love that Grandville has its own brewery now and if you are looking for solid craft beer and good food, Osgood is a safe bet.
(4)Eric I.
The bartender is great and the food is good but once you leave the bar, they forget about you. Wait staff isn't exactly motivated and that is being kind.
(2)Philip W.
I am currently going deaf because of the extremely loud music and poor acoustics. Might give it another try in the future if my ears recover.

Really had a hard time here. I'm in the service industry and have never written a bad review for any place. This was even the first place I have ever asked to talk to a manager, and still feel bad writing this review. The service was terrible. We asked to be seated in the bar area, and remained to be seated for close to 5 minutes before getting up to ask for service. After getting our beers and ordering our food it continued to go down hill. Our server only stopped by when we were looking around with empty beer glasses. We had the cheese sticks which were pretty good, however, the mac and cheese was very bland and our pizza wasn't made correctly. Did our server know? No, because she didn't care to ask. We did box it up to go only because we don't like to waste food and thought perhaps we could fix it up at home. After tracking down our server, I shared my disappointments only to hear her explained her personal excuses for why she was having a rough day. She didn't talk to her manager to let her in on what was going on, so once again I got up to ask to talk to the manager. After talking to the manager I really didn't feel much better, especially when she said, "Well, I can take 15% off the bill." As a server at another brewery, going out to enjoy a nice evening on a night off was a big deal, and this was a big disappointment.

Food is excellent! Gourmet pizzas (farmhouse was phenomenal) and good craft beer in a small downtown setting. Family friendly environment and a nice long bar. Will certainly return!
(4)Jill W.
Great friendly service, and was offered samples - settled on the Notley Porter. I don't normally like Porters but this paired well with the cheese bread. The menu was small but everything sounded and looked amazing. Planning a return visit while in town for sure.
(4)Kyle J.
Really enjoyed the amber ale and stout. Good snack options. Nice space for hanging out with friends.
(5)Katie C.
We ordered the BLT Salad w/jalapeño vinaigrette, along with the Italian, the BBQ & Farm House pizzas. Everyone liked them all - we had 6 people - and were evenly divided on favorite. Oakestown was the favorite of the brews. One tried the Notley & loved it. The others were ok (358 & Sol Seeker) It was loud, but owners acknowledge & acoustic panels on the way.

I don't remember the names of the beers I had, I tasted them all. I like beer quite a bit, and I use the "would I mind drinking this beer again" rule when figuring out whether or not I like craft beers or microbrews - often finding there's at least 1-2 beers out of the flight that I'd take a pass on. That was not the case here at all. While I wasn't blown away, they were ALL very enjoyable. I will definitely be drinking them again next time I'm in town. One of us in the group had the pizza - and the other accolades are correct. It was excellent. I had the chicken wings - which I was expecting to be like many other wings at pub/restaurants. I was very wrong - these weren't wings, they were drum sticks and 1/2 breasts - and there were a lot of them. Not only was the serving generous with meat, the seasoning was fantastic. They didn't need anything - they were just a little spicy (which I loved), moist, and not crazy messy. They were excellent. The atmosphere still feels new - as though they're still figuring out if they're going to be more of a bar that serves food or a restaurant that has a bar. It can get loud and echo-y. The staff was extremely friendly and kind as well as the other patrons. I hope this place sticks around for a while - definitely a great place.

Just what grandville needed - good beer and a non-chain restaurant! Great food AND tasty beer! If you live in the area and haven't come in yet, you need to get here soon and support this new local business!
(5)Jenifer B.
I'm giving this place 3 stars not because it deserves it necessarily but because I want it to succeed. Grandville is a black hole of chain restaurants so this place is needed. So my first impression ... went Saturday around 10 pm. It's a huge space and it was maybe a 1/8th filled. Lights were a little too bright. We sat at the bar right next to the bartender. He was so into his conversation with friends that he didn't acknowledge us for 5 minutes. That's cool if those friends plan to float your business forever. But I'm thinking new customers to a brand new business should be getting the 5 star treatment. Kitchen was closed which was not great for my friend who just got off a shift in the ER but based on patronage I can see why you'd do it. Pretzels were offered. Then randomly 20 minutes later chips were offered. We declined both. I have heard good things about the food but we will have to try it another time. We got a beer flight to sample all the beers. Another bartender -- perhaps owner -- came up to us to ask if we liked the beers. We lied and said we did. Not good when your beers range from watery to passable. Not a one made me want to come back. But I will come back despite it all because damn it all I want this place to succeed. So work on the beers and customer service so I can give you 5 stars.
(3)Jeff M.
The beer was VERY good...I typically drink Founders and Bells, so I was not expecting to be blown away, but I was pleasantly surprised. I tried all of them. It was not busy so noise was not an issue as others have noted. They installed noise absorbing ceiling panels. Not sure why people are complaining about noise...it's a brew pub...every one I've been to Bells, Founders, Brewery Viviant, et. al are noisy. Anyway, the staff was very attentive and the pizza was wonderful. Overall it had a low-key vibe...perfect for Grandville. We'll be back!
(4)Chelsea R.
Not impressed :/ Beer and cider was okay, the scotch ale was horrible. Food was not anything I expected it to be for a brewery. Also, the atmosphere was very boring and they played country music radio. Probably won't come here again.
(2)Megan D.
Our waitress was friendly and knew the beers. Beer was good, but not the best ever. We're glad we went once to try it but I doubt we'll be back. The food left much to be desired but was inexpensive so we weren't expecting much. It was much more of a restaurant than bar, atmosphere itself was lacking.
(3)Mark V.
Service was really good and they went the extra mile for my kids. Beer was good and cider was too. Food also was above par and what you would expect from a brew pub. We will definitely be back. I recommend the bbq and DIPA.
(4)Orson B.
Another strong Grand Rapids area brewery that has avoided the disgusting diacetyl issues that have plagued many other breweries during the first year or two of operation. For the people who don't know what diacetyl is, it's that funky butterscotch or bandage taste that creeps into beers due to flawed brewing and equipment cleaning techniques. Some people can't taste it, but I can and when Pike 51 first opened, I thought it was a butterscotch candy factory it was so bad. This place has a nice food menu and I had mac and cheese that was better than average. None of the beers wowed me, although the raspberry vanilla Porter was very nicely done and everything I had was solid and properly carbonated.
(4)Kelly V.
Coders were awesome! Beer was great! Food....... Not as good. Nachos didn't come out until after our meals, pulled pork mac n cheese was decent but the Greek wrap was not.
