We always order take out pizza here on Mondays (because it's half price) and because they have the best gluten free pizza hands down! And it's the best price! My kids are allergic to wheat and we have never once had a reaction. The completely take every precaution not to cross contaminate! So considerate and delicious pizza!!!

My first experience there was last night. I honestly never knew this place existed before last night. We had reservations for a party of 30+ (wedding rehearsal dinner) and it was terrible. Buffet was sub-par, salad was pathetic and it took the staff a terribly long time to restock the food on the buffet. After waiting to be restocked, the food was decent, no real complaints there. It took so long for servers to bring drinks we just went to the bar to get drinks, not much quicker there either. After last night, it pretty clear why I've never been there, let alone even knew it existed. Won't ever be back, will not recommend.

A very good and solid choice for a pizza. The crust, toppings and cheese were good. If you need a good pizza in the Division/68 th street area....I would recommend!

my husband and I disagree on this one. He gives it 5 stars and I'm at a 3. He loves their spaghetti and meatballs and would go weekly given a chance. I like a little more variety and the food, while good, isn't knocking my socks off, if you know what I mean. My number 1 go to meal is the pizza. I've tried Veal Parmesan and the meat just wasn't that great although the Russo sauce does save it. It has a nice bar, entertainment on some nights, and is a good place for a bunch of friends to meet up.

Been wanting to go here a LONG time-will never go back! We were immediately greeted by a friendly older lady in the open awkward space by the door. Bartender doesn't know what a smile is and when we weren't happy -he quickly ran away. When a beer was offered -he immediately said "a short"? Who trains these people? ALWAYS say tall!! Duh! Ordered "flash fried calamari" that took forever and it was dead in there. Over cooked rubbery yuck! Even the lemon was slimy! I ordered the "antipasto salad" per the menu-buy was not a salad Was a $10 platter of salty gardinere Tad of lettuce -some salami -mozzarella -prosciutto and water logged black olives. TERRIBLE My fiancé ordered gizzards-they were cold and the fries we undercooked and tasted like they had been sitting there forever! No ranch was offered and by the time the bartender came back to check on us-wasn't worth asking! He had 6 customers at the bar- (3 couples) - he was terrible. When we were almost done he finally asked if everything was ok -we both sighed and said eh ok. He turned and ran away. Didn't care why we weren't happy. After asking for the check he came back awhile later and said -oh-you are at $$& I had to ask for a printed bill-wth? Do not recommend at all!!

My wife and I love Russo's. The place is really nothing to look at, being in a storefront-type building and having simple tables and chairs with a large bar taking up one side of the dining room, but the food more than makes up for it. My favorite is the Lasagna, but during our latest visit I tried The Tour of Italy. It consisted of Lasagna, Fettucine Alfredo, and an Italian Chicken Breast. All were fantastic. I highly recommend Russo's.

I've been going to Russo's for many years now. Since they were on the west side of Grand Rapids. Eccellent Italian food and the service is impeccable. The owners make a point of greeting customers at their restaurant. It is a regular stop for me on Fridays to unwind after work and enjoy the karaoke as well. Stop on in, I'm sure ypu will be pleased.

Karaoke night here was a totally weird experience. It's a really small bar, not busy even on a Saturday night, and the same 3 people kept performing over and over - mostly country and romantic ballads. Awkward! :)

Russo's has really good food. I love their Bruschetta, it is always fresh and tastes great. I have enjoyed just about any meal that I have had there. One of the best things about Russo's is that many of their meals come with a small side of spaghetti. It is nice so you don't need to choose between a dinner or pasta.

Karaoke night is not appropriate for this restaurant. They didn't process a perfectly valid restaurant.com voucher. Basically a bad customer experience. Food is always good.

I've been going to Russo's since I was a kid - I can't even remember my first time there, though I'd bet it was some time in the early 90's. I've always liked almost everything there. The garlic bread is not my favorite, but that doesn't matter too much because the rest of the food is great! Even something as simple as spaghetti is delicious and their lasagna is to die for. My mom hated when we moved up north when I was in middle school, but one year before her birthday, my dad had a meeting in GR. Her favorite restaurant in GR was Russo's and one of the things she missed was their lasagna, so part of her birthday present that year was like....5-10 lasagnas that Russo's pre-made to be kept in our freezer until my mom wanted to cook them up. The family that owns the restaurant have always been really good to us. I was recently back there awhile ago and everything still tastes just as good (or better!) than I remember it.

My wife and I go at least 3 times a month. The food is always fresh and the service is excellent. Great for dinner or having a few drinks with friends.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
