Terrible food. The place was empty and my food was still served cold!!!! What ? Why? The waitress was stingy with the jam, one container for two pieces of toast, other places give as much as you need. The price was expensive. Very disappointed. This place used to be so good. what happened?

The food has been great every time. The waitress was perfect. I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a nice friendly place to eat. The food is awesome, especially the bread with honey butter. We were able to watch the tigers game, they have three tv's. My family loves this place.

This place is a "Dive" it's an gas station dinner, with a "Cracker Barrel" type of gift shop. all that said it has good food, and a friendly prompt staff.

I ordered the Goulash daily special, came with fresh bread and green beans. The mini-loaf of bread was delicious with cinnamon butter generously spread over each slice by Yours Truly. The whole meal was fantastic (I know, it's only goulash). This is a Mom-n-Pop family style restaurant offering a full menu for breakfast, lunch and supper. Daily specials available. Two waitresses kept busy, taking care of their dining customers. My food came out amazingly quick, and afterward, the dishes were taken away with the same speed and efficiency. With fuel pumps in front for 4-wheelers and parking out back for RVs and big-rigs, they also have a small gift shop just inside the front entrance.

We happened upon this place by accident because we were desperate and just randomly picked something on the highway. Being attatched to a gas station, we didn't have very high hopes. But it turned out to kick ass! They do a really good breakfast here, the service is always outstanding, and when you order coffee they just give you the entire caraffe. The toast is no joke. Wish I lived closer to this place. I've been back a couple more times during my travels.

Like everyone else we are continually driving by this place going from the Detroit area to Grand Rapids or Lansing, (it is hard to miss the big blue roof.) This time we decided to stop. The service is good, the food comes out fast and the price is cheap, but you pay for what you get. The burger that I got was pre-made frozen meat, my wife ordered the meat loaf sandwich, which again wasn't bad but the gravy was from a package and the mashed potatoes were rehydrate boxed potato flakes. The bread was however good and apparently made in-house. If you take the time to make homemade bread how hard is it to peel and boil potatoes? If you don't expect anything much you might be pleasantly surprised, and it is way better than stopping at a fast food restaurant on your way through.

You know the old "Eat Here and Get Gas" signs that terrified generations of yuppies into avoiding any restaurant adjacent to a gas station? Forget that nonsense. Fowlerville Farms does not suffer from its proximity to the pumps. As other reviewers mentioned, the restaurant is unmistakable from the highway, with bright blue Tudor stylings. Make your way through the tchotchke shop to find a pleasant family dinner (well, pleasant except for the wall of porcelain dolls. That, I don't like so much. I think I see judgment in their glassy eyes for the amount of honey butter I use on the slices of fresh homemade bread.) The menu is full of fairly standard diner fare; your eggs, your sandwiches, your side salads covered in cheese. It is not a culinary experience to drive any great distance for, but it is an excellent stop between two points on I-96. Standouts include the pies and the aforementioned bread, which is delivered on wood block cutting boards. I've watched a trucker put away a whole loaf and ask for another.

If you come down with the munchies half-way between Lansing and Detroit and your looking for something NOT fast food. Then it's hard to beat the Fowlerville Farms Family Restaurant. Just off the Fowlerville exit on I-96 with a bright blue roof, it's also hard to miss. The place features good "down home " cooking. I've had both the All-you-can-eat Fish & Chips and the All-you-can-eat Fried Chicken and both meals were excellent. I think it's their mission here, just like Grandma, to make you explode. Extra pieces just flowed. I had to say no-mas for fear of completing my trek home in a food comma. And the desserts are outstanding. I've had the Hot Apple Cobbler... and an deceptively good Orange Cream-Cicle Cheesecake. The only downside is the cheesy gift store that you put you through to get to the cash register... But then again, maybe there is no other place in Fowlerville that you can buy a "Clapper".

I was on my way from Detroit to Grand Rapids for a meeting and decided to stop in and give this Mom and Pop style resturant for a shot. I ordered the French Dip with a side of mashed potatos and gravy and a bowl of Chicken soup . The noodles of the soup weren't so great, but the sandwhich and potatos were bomb! On my next trek to MI, I'm gonna make a special trip. Real down home cooking and the waitresses are super friendly. If you're in the area, give it a shot!

I have passed this place countless times with family in Livonia, and living in Lansing and then Grand Rapids. Like other Yelpers have said, you can't miss the blue roof. The food is meat and potatoes style comfort food, and good too. The macaroni and cheese really hit the spot when I was craving something comforting before moving to California. The honey butter that comes with the fresh bread is divine. The food came ridiculously fast too. The only downside is walking through a gift shop featuring knick knacks and cheesy items, and the creepy Grandma-style decor of dolls and cat figurines. However, it's worth it for the food. The service is good too, and the waitstaff is very friendly and accommodating. Skip all of the fast food at the Fowlerville exit and stop here instead.

Great price, however they could get the place to feel a bit less cluttered
