Why is this place not getting 5 starts across the board? Great small town feel, friendly waitstaff and great diner food! Best cheeseburger in town and the breakfasts are great! I drive from out of town to eat here.

This is one of those "popular primarily because it's local" kind of places. In reality, it is very average. The waitstaff is friendly, maybe even a bit overly familiar at times. In my opinion, the food is very average American diner food. The portions are on the small side. The dining room is small... Really small. I think this place is popular with locals simply because it is a non-chain local restaurant, and because it's so small that the staff "knows you" if you go there with any frequency.

so I seen homemade corned beef hash as a special, yet could clearly see the cook dumping canned hash on the grill. the food is cheap and you get what you pay for. breakfast is ok, but as far a greasy spoons go there are plenty better than here.

Get here early on Sat and Sunday or you will be waiting. Super small inside but, very popular and has a great basic breakfast menu. Only open for breakfast and lunch so keep that in mind!
