Great late night food.... proportions are nice and good prices. Great service. Open 24 hours so great for after the bar. I've never had to pay for my food first but they must have had several late night walk outs. Very clean and comfortable.

Nothing overly special, had a gyro and some chicken wings that were good. Service was fine. One of my coworkers had a Greek chicken salad that was enough to feed like 3 people so I think that was a pretty good deal. The 50s diner theme is pretty cool, not a lot of places like that around here. I would stop here again if I was in the area for lunch.

Classic diner with good food and good prices. We always order the chef salad and burgers. When traveling from the East back to GR we always make a point of waiting for dinner until we get here.

I am hellaciously uncertain this place is worth returning to, yet I continue to do so time and time again. Being raised in the Flint area and working near Mega, this place is NOT your typical Flint diner/coney island. It just isn't. The interior is flashy and automotive themed, in a style that should have been left to Coty's Westside Diner. I have eaten a fair amount of items on the menu - coneys, omelets, Greek salad, gyros, and cheeseburgers. Breakfast items are probably your best bet here, they are pretty consistent but sometimes it just seems like you could have bought $9 worth of satisfaction in a different format. Service here varies. I kinda wish the servers were nicer to each other, but every visit remains entertaining.

Usually Mega never disappoints me with their awesome milkshakes and delicious coney island food. But their waitstaff has been going downhill... Girls with bad attitudes bigger than the burgers they serve make me not want to return until they hire some new servers!!!

Bad for u diner - had to try it. Had Philly steak - decent for a diner. Service was decent the first time but second time I sat at the bar and was invisible so I got up and left. I was really wanting the Greek Salad with Chicken - I am going back next week and might try it - but definitely a locals get taken care of first type place.

High prices for a diner, terrible food.. I'll go to Rally's across the street before I go to Mega

This place is one of the few establishments in this part of Flint that is open 24 hours, and I go here all the time with friends late at night. I love their corned beef sammiches and chili fries, and their burgers are absolutely HUGE - the mega bacon cheeseburger or whatever it's called is massive and huge and intimidating. Wait staff is medium to quite good usually - never been disappointed. The place is clean and is loaded with touches of old American 50s culture - men's room is covered with classic car ads, not sure about the women's. XD I like this place - it has never let me down and prices are reasonable. When you walk in, don't be surprised to see Elvis' torso staring at you :D

I'm really struggling with how to rate this place. Two-stars seems to indicate it's crap but three stars indicates I'll go back... First of all, this place is pretty unique and cool, especially in a city like Flint. You just don't see the typical, east coast aluminum diners out in the middle of Michigan. Add to it a motorcycle on display next to the counter top/bar and you've got something pretty interesting. The place is clean. The waitresses are friendly and fast. I came in around 11:15 on a Wednesday night and there were plenty of people there and even more servers. They seem to be ready at all times just in case they get a wave of customers. But the food isn't very good. The chili on my fries was minced soup and I prefer mine with big chunks. I realize this is a preference, but it was also bland. And the cheese on top was just nacho fake stuff. The fries underneath it all were standard, and it all added up to a waste of calories. I ordered what amounted to a BLT with a hamburger patty, mayo and cheese. The burgers are obviously prefab and frozen. And while the toppings were fresh - I don't know - I just left disappointed. It's not bad food at all. It's just not good either. I'd rather hit up a good fast food joint for late night fare like Steak and Shake or Sonic. But if you want to sit down late at night, the place is serviceable.

Quite possibly the sweetest person on earth is the hostess at this diner. She deserves a million dollars for what a darling, sweet young lady she is. Some people are just genuinely sweet, beautiful people and this young lady is just that. All the world to you!

I'm ADDICTED to breakfast. Mega is great because it's open 24 hours, they even have a drive thru and delivery available. The portions are pretty big. I have only ever ordered breakfast from there and have not been let down since. The staff has always been nice too.

Chicken Greek salad memorable, healthy, generous and delicious. Enough for two! My new go to when driving north. Recommended!

It's open 24 hours.. that alone might almost be deserving of a fourth star. Aside from that, though, it was a pretty average diner experience. I'll give 'em a nod to the kitschy old school diner vibe, but wasn't impressed with the booth we were sitting at (it was busted and rocky) and the food was fine, classic diner type stuff but nothing to write home about. Wasn't super hungry when I stopped in so I just got an English muffin (which they buttered for me, why oh whyyyy do restaurants do this!?) --I'd try the omelette if I went back with an appetite. Good choice for late night eats.

This restaurant is pretty much a fail-safe for late night dining in Flint. The veggie omelet is delicious!! So are the Flint coney dog, grilled chicken salad, and chili curly fries (they will make that upon request). Malts and shakes are also very good. Fast, friendly service. Clean, well-lit, retro interior. Low cost. Large portions. Annnnnd it's right across from a Michigan State Police post... so it's pretty safe at any time of day or night.

I'm almost hesitant to list and recommend this restaurant, only because we'd like to keep it somewhat of a secret so it doesn't become too overcrowded! My wife and I are true fans of Mega Classic Diner, and we eat here regularly. Everything we've tried from the menu has been tasty, and the portions are generous. The price is appropriate, and the staff are very friendly. It's a small restaurant, so at times it can be a challenge to find a seat, but most of the time, it provides a warm, friendly feel to the place. We highly recommend Mega Classic Diner!

I only go here for the amazing salads to be honest. I'm only reviewing this to balance out the idiotic nonsense that Norma M. just posted. If you are going to give a place a bad review just because you can't utilize the little butter packet like the rest of humanity has mastered while you were too busy nitpicking your life away then just stay home. Maybe the waitresses were different because, get this, the shift changed! Some people.

This place is the epitome of a classic diner - it has the classic diner atmosphere plus the classic diner food. The food is good and the waitstaff is friendly. And they're open on Christmas! They are just plain awesome.

Huge omelets, reasonable prices. The waitress was very nice. One odd thing though, we got the bill and a side of sausage we never got was on there. My wife went to the register to tell them and they were going to charge the waitress because the order was up but not delivered. We said no we would pay for it. I never heard of anything like that. Otherwise I'd highly recommend Mega.
