Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Excellent Chinese for up north michigan. Dinner is pricy: lunch specials rock and well priced.

Very pricey for the quality of food. Also, it wouldnt hurt them to throw their tablecloths in the laundry every once in a while. I wont be returning here. With the chinese buffet opening up down the street, there really isnt any reason for me to come back to this place.

DIRTY! The tables have a glass top over the tablecloth but the sides of the tablecloth were covered with dried food that was dripped from other diners....Very gross. I had chicken schezuan which is usually spicy. The sauce was very sweet with lots of celery. Chicken was tasteless. Soup and fried rice have MSG in it.

Hsing's is the only Chinese restaurant in the East Tawas area, and fortunately, it's pretty darn good. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. My only big issue with them is that they advertise their closing time as 9pm, but when I walked in at 8:30pm after a long day at work, they said their kitchen has closed. So why bother leave the doors unlocked if you're not going to serve me. Most decent restaurants will seat you up until closing time. Your service may not be good, but they will at least stick with the schedule as they promised. Both the lunch and dinner portions are very reasonable in size and price, and overall they do a very good job in terms of flavors and tenderness of the meat. I've only had their chicken so far, and since both of my experiences with the chicken have been so good, I would really have to be in a super adventurous mood to try the beef or pork.

Horrible, less than one star not available! Don't waste your money or time! Service was adequate but the gummy fried rice and greasy apps were just disgusting! Would never go back even if it were the last restaurant on the face of the earth! !

My wife and I live in town and have been ordering from Hsing's for 7 years, about 2-4 times each month. The food is fresh and made with premium quality ingredients. I don't know why a reviewer said not to try their takeout, it's exactly the same as dining in, right down to the garnishes, and it's hot, fast, and delicious. The restaurant is beautiful inside, quiet, and has a relaxing ambience with efficient, courteous service. Yes, soda refills are 50 cents. It is what it is; the overall value is worth it. My wife is a foodie and knows her stuff. She's had Chinese food made by Chinese friends in Hawaii and sampled it from California to New York, so if she says she loves Hsing's, it's good. There are some items that are just standard fare, some that aren't as good as she's had elsewhere, but for this area, it's one of the highest quality, freshly prepared meals you'll find. Good value too, since dinner portions can feed two adults. The homemade spareribs (her favorite) are meaty and sweet, beautifully presented and garnished with sesame seeds, the fried dumplings (my favorite) aren't the frozen kind; they are plump, savory, and come with a spicy dipping sauce they'll even make mild for you if you ask. They are so accommodating and friendly. We have yet to order something we didn't like, but our favorites are the House Crispy Steak and Cashew Shrimp. You can't go wrong with anything here, really. They have specials for lunch and dinner, a children's menu, take credit cards, have a party space, a full bar, and ample parking.

Very good service. Everyone loved their soup and egg rolls. Main courses were pretty good. Limited vegetarian options - no meatless egg roll or spring roll, or soup. Two tofu dishes on the menu- 1 served with 8 mixed vegetables. It was decent for the area. Pretty place inside.

Got take out, so I can't review the restaurant building but the food was good. We got an assortment of dishes including fried rice, curry chicken, and sweet and sour vegetables. Everything tasted good and no complaints from the crowd.

I'm giving Hsing's a low rating because of their drink refill policy. They charge $1.75 for a fountain pop and then charge 50 cents for each refill. I always liked the food at Hsing Garden, but I will not go there again.

As authentic as it gets in this neck of the woods. My wife stops in here almost every chance she gets. The kids even ask to eat here.
