My roommate and I discovered this little deli and I can't wait to come back. The owner, Steve, is incredibly friendly and makes really quality sandwiches stacked high with delicious deli slices. They have a few specials and also a make your own sandwich option with really great choices. It is really well priced and in a very cute neighborhood. It has little to no seating other than one outdoor table for two but is very close to a small park that is really great to sit and eat. Totally worth a lunch trip!

Ate here two days in a row, and would come back again if I was going to be in town for lunch tomorrow. I couldn't ask for a better lunch experience. It's a one-man shop run by Steve himself. He's a friendly, gracious, and welcoming small-business owner, and makes some great sandwiches! I tried pastrami yesterday and corner beef today. Everything was solid and Steve will customize whatever you want to make sure you leave happy. Only seating is a table for two inside, and a table for two outside. Good place to grab lunch and maybe walk to the park less than a block away.

Sandwiches are on point every time! Great quality for a great price as well. I get the Turkey and Salami with swiss and russan dressing on either challah or rye bread, and then get it grilled. It's delicious. Stop by and pick anything to have. Quick and great for lunch time. 4 stars proud.

Started a new job downtown and wanted to grab a quick sandwich. After cruising Yelp, I decided on Steve's Deli. The shop is as small as other reviews state, but don't let that fool you. Steve was super friendly and inviting and the meat is sliced fresh right in front of you. If you're looking to get a good quality lunch, this is the place to go.

I had a few minutes to grab lunch in downtown Detroit. I fell in love with the sandwich from Steve's. It's a small place, but big on flavor!

I've grabbed a sandwich from here several times and it's always awesome! I've never had anything disappointing. Steve has also catered for our office. Lunch meat is sliced fresh while you wait and piled on high, toppings and bread are also excellent. Build your own sandwich for around $5 bucks which beats subway hands down any day. Love Steve's!

Sitting right in the middle of Grand River, just beyond Paradise Valley is this tiny sandwich shop. It's run by one-man-show, Steve (I'm assuming), who can make you any of the variety of sandwich he has on his menu. There is also a board of daily specials. The prices are reasonable for the amount of meat in each sandwich. I got the buffalo chicken with banana peppers on wheat. YUM.It was filling and if I wasn't so greedy, I very well could have saved half for later. Bonus: Fresh made brownies. Quick service Credit Cards accepted (Square) No street patio

AMAZING! They have only a few sandwich options, but what they do have is good. Steve is very "Detroit" and will tell you all about the area if you're interested. He's friendly and will alter the sandwiches if you need. The patio is just the sidwalk so it isn't great, but does the trick. There is no indoor seating that I recall, but I suppose you could stand inside. Prices are ok.

5 stars because what Steve's does he does right! Amazing deli sandwiches and that's about it. Can get busy and there can be a wait but its worth it.

Yes yes yes a good deli downtown. Serving Ginsburgs deli corned beef and pastrami, along with about 12 different types of deli meats. I ordered a pastrami and corned beef combo wit swiss coleslaw and mustard on a onion roll. This was a pretty good sized sandwich, not gigundos like some places but just right. The place has barely enough room for Steve to turn around but in this small place so far he's putting out a nice sandwich. Welcome to the neighborhood Steve
