Niki's pizza is the best establishment down town, there's no where else you should even consider going. Fun and friendly, have a shot of Detroit River Water get your night going. If I'm downtown at the Casino or out at the bar this is the place to make sure your night will start off right.

Love the daily specials. A work favorite is 1/2 off large pizza on Wednesdays. I work across the street. Their feta pizza is fantastic. I don't know what is in the feta...but I love it. It's very sweet and crumbly :) and the Greek dressing is SO good! They have a lounge upstairs for meetings and work events. The service is a bit slow....and do NOT try to split and check into individual checks. They don't like that request...lol. Great location downtown Detroit!

The... Wait let me emphasize... Thee BEST PIZZA IN DETROIT! Deep dish goodness, I love this place. I occasionally stop in for Happy Hour (prices could be better) but there is a lovely bartender Katie, she is always kind & willing to go above and beyond. Her service and conversation alone bring me back time and time again. If you haven't had a deep dish pizza here you must go! The Lamb (greek style) pizza is my favorite. Chucks of lamb, tomatoes, and feta cheese. So good!

Had a late dinner at Niki's while in town for a NFL game. Wasn't overly crowded but the staff was helpful and friendly, the pizza was delicious (crust was amazing) Nice variety of choices. Beer selection was a little slight but we worked through it and enjoyed ourselves tremendously

I stopped in Niki's earlier this week and it took me back down memory lane, with a few upgrades of course. I hadn't been in years. I frequented Niki's for two reasons; when I was younger I felt it was named after me (LOL) and two, they are one of the best pizzeria's in the downtown area. The service is always friendly and I love the fact that I could sit outside to watch all the handsome men go by! I always get pizza, it's my addiction. I recommend the fully loaded pizza with tons of vegetables and double chicken. Always the best!

I used to frequent Niki's a lot when I was younger. Back then it was sort of like a hole in the wall...but now they have expanded the outside area a bit. It's still has remained a great spot to get pizza, after hanging out at Hart Plaza or Cobo Hall. I always remember them yelling "Opa" after they brought my meal... Let's see, I definitely recommend the pizza, of course, but also the Grilled Chicken Salad or Chicken Shish Ka-Bob. I don't venture into the lamb options at all. The prices are reasonable, and it's usually packed...so I wouldn't recommend coming with too big of a crowd.

I had recently discovered Nikis after a friend of mine moved to Greektown earlier this year, and we keep coming back to their often so they must be doing something right. It's a great place to eat when you're in the downtown area. The Service has always been pretty good, and the food is reasonably priced. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but the gyros are decent each time I've had them. Would recommend Niki's to someone's grandma.

Almost 3 stars here. The place was not real busy which is kind of strange. There appear to be a number of businesses in the area. we were even there during lunch hour. Had the two slices and salad. Salad was okay for me since i don't really like all the extra stuff on it. Menu says the pizza was a top 25 in the GQ magazine. Not sure what year that was or if GQ folks actually even eat pizza. Not sure i would give it a top 25 but the prices were good and it was near the business i was auditing so we gave it a shot. may go back and try the burger but there are several other places a block or two over in Greek Town.

Niki's has great pizza. It's not for the thin crust lovers though. check the pic Bob added to get an idea of what kind of pizza it is. it's typically pretty loud in here-- Last time I was in here before a show at St. Andrews-- luckily we had a LOT of time before the show because it took forever. Our server kind of snubbed us for no apparent reason... Almost like we offended him.. and all we did was order. Their saganaki tastes different than Leo's or Greek Islands.. It's all flaming greek cheese, but for some reason it tastes different-- I'm also still contemplating if it's a good different or bad different. Research in progress.

I have to give Nikki's one star and here is why: the bus boy was walking around with a spit cup for his chewing tobacco the whole time we were there. Absolutely disgusting! Also the place was just dirty in general. To top it off I had a drunk wino try to shake my hand while I was eating and the staff did absolutely nothing to get rid of him. Its kind of a shame because the Pizza is pretty good but unfortunately I will not return.

Thick, doughy, cheesy deliscious pizza in Greektown. The place is pretty big so its a good place to go with a group, or have some pizza and beer pre/post game or for a night out in Greektown. They also have good saganaki and salads. If you live in the area, you can order a half-baked pizza to take home and finish at home.

Damn I haven't eaten at Niki's in a hot minute. Definitely a Detroit favourite, post St. Andrews, back in the day. Pizza's great, and just about everything else, plus it's got a super convinient location in Greektown.

Hubs and I went in here Saturday afternoon. It was not my first choice (or even my 10th) but he really wanted it so I conceded. I always had great memories of this place from when I was a kid but as I got older and had to start throwing in on the bill, Niki's definitely lost its luster. The service has always been total and utter crap. This time was different though. It looks like they redid the inside, cleaned it up a bit, and put some real effort into making the place look presentable. Nice. The food was OUTSTANDING! The service was slow at first, picked up as we went on and then died out at the end. I hate waiting to pay or having to hunt down my server for a bill. Still, we got our food in a timely manner and actually got drink refills, which might be a Niki's first. It's pretty reasonably priced. We got a large pepperoni pizza, Greek salad, flaming cheese and 2 cokes for just under $30. I would say it was worth it.

Haven't been here since leaving for Alaska 20 years ago...came back with children now and had to take them. Food was still superb. Great thick, deep dish pizza with unusual cheese (not sure what it ever is) and huge salads and cheap-o prices. The waitress was bending over backwards for us and offered to give my kid a different soda if it "tasted funny" as my 6 year old tried something new. We also ordered the Taziki and it came with tons of olives, onions, tomatoes and beets. Wonderful stuff. We ordered a ton of food and the bill was less than $40. Folks, I am here to tell you that outside of Detroit, Michigan you cannot get food like this, nor for this price. A true gem. Now they need to clean the joint up and get some new furniture, close for a week or two and remodel the damned dump!! It's the kind of place where you go and look at the food, try not to look too hard at the floor (filthy) or the tables and God, don't go in the bathroom.

I'm a cheese fiend and love the cheese on their pizza. I'm also not a pizza junkie but I do relish these slices. Even after they get all over the white shirt I wore to the fancy show across the street. Even then I shrug and eat another slice.

Niki's pizza is the best pizza in MI!!! And I've had a lot of pizza in my lifetime. I know it's pretty bold of me to state that "its the BEST pizza in MI" but I honestly think it is! I'm not sure what's "Greek" about the pizza, it has the same basic components but it tastes different from the rest. I think it's the cheese that sets it apart. I've had Pizzeria Uno, Buddy's, Loui's, Pizza Papalis, Shields, California pizza kitchen, etc. etc. and was just sort of impressed with them. The others are good and all, don't get me wrong, but Niki's is the ONLY pizza that I can remember actually saying "WOW that was good!" and was truly TRULY pleased! Niki's may not be ultra modern and in the best shape, but you don't eat the floor and walls. I'm a HUGE fan of the less than perfect restaurants. That's where you get the best foods. And Niki's is a PERFECT, less than perfect pizza joint!!!! I LOVE NIKI'S PIZZA!!!!!!!!!

one of the only things i miss about working downtown is being so close to the good food like Nikki's. their pizza is so good. cheesy, with just enough sauce without going overboard. their salads are fantastic. and their appetizers are just as good. it's a great place for a "date night" dinner for two, or for a big group who want to have some beers and eat some pizza. It's detroit so parking is very hit and miss if you don't want to pay for parking in a lot but sometimes you'll get lucky and there will be a spot right on the street.

I came here with my wife as we were in town to see a show at Saint Andrew's Hall; we're Canadians so we just kind of wandered in as we were passing by. I ordered the Steak Wrap and my wife ordered a small pepperoni pizza. While service seemed really kind of inattentive and slow, the atmosphere and food more than made up for it. The steak wrap tasted like a Philly cheese steak in a little tortilla wrap and the pizza definitely had its own spin. The fries were also amazing but weren't very well seasoned considering on the menu it had said they were well seasoned. We had to wait quite a while for refills but not terrible, just a little slower than I'd expect from a place of this size with five wait staff that were, for the most part, appearing idle or not terribly busy. Overall, a great experience, all things considered.

"Meh" is the perfect description of this place. The food was really just okay. The service was just bland. The whole time we were there, all we could hear was BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP from the club upstairs. It was pretty expensive for the quality of pizza that we got. This pizza was no where near as good as Buddy's or Cloverleaf like everyone claims. My wife had a gyro and I think it was just seasoned Steak-Umms in a pita. I don't think I'll be back.

Don't let the stingy Yelp reviews steer you away. If you're looking for solid pan pizza in Detroit near Greektown, this is your best bet (yes, even over Pizzapapalis). Picture a pan pizza that is thicker, crunchier on the bottom, with a cheesier crust and less grease than a Jets pan pizza. No I'm not exaggerating. Go for the Mediterranean. It is much better than their Famous Feta, which was apparently rated one of the 25 best pizzas in America by GQ at one point. I do agree with the rest of the reviewers that their other food choices are sub par and that's why this place gets a worse rep. But I would not say it is one star worthy. The gyro is the only other thing I would recommend on their menu. Although you can get a better one down the street in Greektown. I would avoid the Greek salad. Iceberg lettuce and bland Greek dressing does not combine well.

Love Nicki's. We have been comming here for years. Salads are fresh and sooo generous. Their home made house Greek dressing is the bomb. Let me rave about their pizza !! Every piece is crusty on the edges yet tender in the center. Come to Nickki's, you will Love it.

The Greek pizza is on point here. It's the only thing I eat when I come here, it's that good! For the most part, the service is pretty good and attentive. It just depends on who you get. Happy eating! :)

The pizza was delicious and their house ranch is divine! Enjoyed the time here. 3 stars because of the neighborhood. Walked here and 3 blocks away, someone was laying on the floor that was mugged and injured next to a convenience store, there were police officers there and definitely did not feel safe. Wouldn't walk here alone if it were me.

Let me forewarn you: The service isn't great, BUT go anyway! Niki's is a Detroit hidden gem. I've been coming here pretty much since they opened in 1980 and it's still one of the best pizzas in the Detroit area. Pretty much every Detroiter knows that there are only TWO true Detroit pizzerias: Buddie's and Niki's. Although their Feta & mozzarella pizza was ranked as one of GQ Magazines "Best 25 Pizzas in America", I'm a fan of the simple, but magnificent, pepperoni pizza. Thick, fluffy, flavorful bread. Rich, zesty tomato sauce, Cheese baked into a melty sheet with crispy, crunchy edges. This is the benchmark of a great Greek Pizza, The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, too with the giant wooden beams and aged brick. SO, don't sweat the less than stellar service, the pizza is the prize.

I can't give them more than 3 stars. The first time I was here with my coworkers for lunch they were short staffed. We had to ask repeatedly and kindly for refills and basic service like extra napkins. I also took my kids here on two separate occasions and fortunately we had decent service. This place is hit or miss, but the food has always been good. - - - Update on 8/16/15, the pizza slices were 98% bread, 1% cheese, and 1% sauce. Just can't bring myself to even give them 3 stars any more.

I always love visiting Greektown. We were in the area after the Tiger game and wanted to get a bite to eat. We stumbled upon Niki's and the group consensus was Yes! They have a great variety on the menu from pizza to authentic greek food. Of course when in Greektown, you go with Greek food right? We started off with Saganaki. Who doesn't love flaming cheese! Opa! Fabulous blend of flamed cheeses really can satisfy anyone's tastebuds. I do wish it was served with pita bread rather than their regular table bread. But it was still tasty. Even though it wasn't greek, we wanted to get their calamari. A huge plate was delivered to the table. It was fabulous! It was lightly breaded and served with a cocktail sauce and also a spicy aioli. I was so full after the appetizers but we didn't stop there. I tried their Gyro with slices of lamb, tomato, onion and tzatiki sauce. Perfect in every bite. The lamb was so tender and flavorful. It was stuffed full in the pita for a great gyro sandwich. Service here was fantastic. Our waitress did an amazing job with keeping our drinks full. Her bright and bubbly personality was key here making us feel welcomed like one of her friends. My only gripe would be about the club next door which had their music up so loud it was coming through the restaurant walls. Otherwise it was a great visit to Greektown and Niki's is the place to eat!

I always liked Niki's, but the last few times have been terrible. The last pizza was really doughy (due to old, over risen dough). Definitely the worst pizza I've had in a very long time. They were also allowing people to smoke cigarettes on the deck, yuk! I'll never go back.

This is a local favorite! The restaurant is awfully spacious! It has a hell of a Greek salad and the Greek pizza is out of this world. The prices are reasonable and it isn't usually too busy! I've always had efficient and friendly service. Also, the have outside seating (which is much appreciated)

I'm pretty sure I was here once before about seven years ago, but I don't have any recollection of what we ordered then, so I'll just talk about now. My coworkers and I split a supreme w/o mushrooms and there was more than enough for the three of us. The pizza is a thick crust, but not deep dish. The sauce is tangy and very flavorful and the toppings were good quality. All in all, a very tasty pizza. I personally prefer a thinner crust or a more traditional deep dish which is more cheese/topping & less bread, but it's one of the better thick crust pizzas out there. The location has a lot of charm and ambience, it's a fun place to have a meal and/or some brewskies.

Stopped in after a tour at the Guardian Building (which was a great tour and a stunning building) for lunch on 01/25/14. We walking into the restaurant about 1:45 and there weren't many customers present. Seated promptly, but unfortunately had a poor experience because of the waitress. Sounds like we had the same gal that Graham C reviews on 12/16/14. Poor thing seemed to have quite a hobble and needed to lean on the table heavily with her hand as she took or order and brought our food. Ok, that's fine if you're having issues. But she was curt, unfriendly and very disengaged. Had to go to the bartender to get a refill on the iced tea. There was some kind of discussion between the bartender, server and hostess and then the waitress paid more attention, but our meal was almost over at that point. Additionally the TV's were too loud for the lack of clientele at that point. The sound became overbearing to our conversation. The food was acceptable. But just acceptable, nothing more. Not anyplace I'd recommend when there's so many more options in Greektown.

I brought my wife here to revisit great memories I had of this place and the amazing pizza. I was a regular years ago and was excited to visit again. We came in for a late Saturday lunch. Despite very few customers, service was awful, slow and rude. Our waitress did not appear physically able to perform the job, and made no apologies. I left a 10% tip, and I haven't done that in years. But nothing could be worse than the fever that set in a few hours later, accompanied by everything else that comes with food poisoning. These folks are squandering everything being done to revitalize the city.

The service here is terrible and rude. The waitress told my dad the wrong price for a beer pitcher and the manager would not honor the price. It was literally a $3 difference. The manager, Gretchen, came to to our table and was extremely rude to my parents and yelled at them. I was shocked by her unprofessional behavior and will never come back to this place again. Enjoy your $3, Gretchen.

Niki's is one of those places that falls into the "Meh, this could be so much better" rating hole. I want Niki's to rate higher. My coworkers speak fondly of its Greek pizza and beers after a Tigers game. Downtown Detroit desperately needs thriving restaurants and nightlife beyond a casino's walls, and Niki's anchors the eastern Greektown corridor. An attractive restaurant capable of holding single diners up to large groups deserves some local love. But fresh off a work-party lunch, I'm left far from wowed. The pizzeria does well putting together tables for our reservations of 10+ people, and they always prepare for our reservations. Getting drinks and appetizers out to a group over lunch is no mean feat, and the serving staff keeps atop refills quite well. We never have issues with people receiving the correct orders or bills, especially when one person covers two or more diners. Service can be a bit sluggish, but never on the front end. Fetch a seat and settle in for a long wait after your meal comes. Servers check in, and deliver bills, and promptly vanish for another thirty minutes. This happens with four people or fourteen. We are left waiting. While the option to go pay up front "if you're in a hurry" is repeated, that shouldn't be an excuse to evaporate into the mist. Niki's serves sandwiches, salads, Greek entrees, and pizza. Their single slice pizza, more than enough for one, comes only in pepperoni and cheese, not the delectable Greek (or else I'd be here every week). I wish they served Greek by the slice. Small size whips up four slices of crispy deep dish well worth the visit. No way is it healthy, marinated in ample grease, but comfort food is so rarely fat free. Two can share with plenty left over. The salads are popular among my set, especially the gyro salad, but nothing terribly exciting unless you go for the Greek salad. Mmm, black olives and crumbled feta make the worst meeting seem like a pleasant prospect. Saganaki cheese is more flame than molten goodness, and the other appetizers are satisfying but not so exciting. Seasoning is a persistent issue for dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves) and the spinach pie. I want to love both these staples, but they lack for the punch I want. Flaky pastry demands a little peppery kick! The lemon sauce on the grape leaves should zing. Both leave me rather cold. Other noteworthies: their club sandwich is respectable and crispy, the fish sandwich very greasy, and the chicken or beef gyros popular and tasty. I'm not a fan of the fries, and wouldn't spend an additional $2 on them. Try not to sit at the back underneath the box heater mounted near the ceiling. That rattle trap drowns out conversation and, when music is playing, becomes sort fo deafeningly noisy. PROTIP: Avoid ordering hot drinks with large groups. Frequently coffee and hot water for tea are delivered lukewarm by the time they reach the table.

Pleasantly surprised when walked in the door. Place has been remodel since the last time I was here. It is much larger, nicer and brighter than the old dark dingy and dirty place. New decor really mixes well with the pizzeria and Greek based theme. The service has also improved it seemed as with a party of 8 we were seated quickly and all went smooth throughout the whole lunch. Order the Greek sub and the lamb and chicken on the sub was seasoned perfectly. Will return in the future for seems to have been really upgraded.

Today was my first time visiting Niki's in Greektown. When we arrived, there was a small lunch crowd and the server quickly brought us menus and took our drink orders. When we ordered, we got a pepperoni pizza, antipast salad, tzatziki and saganaki. Since we were three diners, this was plenty of food and we took carryout doggy bags after we finished . The salad was average, with fresh iceberg lettuce and somewhat fresh grape tomatoes. The Italian dressing was very good; tangy and well spiced with a splash of red wine vinegar. The Saganaki was well liked by my dining partners, but not my favorite dish, no insult to the restaurant. I really thought I was going to like the tzatziki, bit it was served barely cool and was really gloopy, almost like mayonnaise was an ingredient. I didn't finish it and didn't take it home either because it really didn't work for me. The pizza was a great Detroit style deep dish and the pepperoni, cheese and crust were great. The only thing I disliked was that the sauce was too sweet for my taste, bit that is a personal preference. Overall, I would not go out of my way for this restaurant, but I would not be upset if a group of friends wanted to go again.

I wouldn't go back to Nikis with a gun to my head. Literally the most unfriendly counter help I've ever run across at the ordering station. Of course, they got my order wrong. It's very difficult to actually get two correct toppings on one pizza. They don't deliver, so I had to go all the way back to their place to get a new pizza. When I called them to complain, they hung up on me the first time. Pretty typical behavior from an arrogant organization that's had its own way for a long time. I'll never go back, and I recommend that you don't go there either.

First time there and was treated absolutely horrible. The staff made every will in their power to make us not feel welcome there. After the waitress lit a plate on fire and I felt alcohol spatter on my face and then brought us "Greek dressing" when we asked for ranch she decided to fight with us about it rather then being polite. After that we politely asked for a manager a few times and that didn't get us anywhere....this lady came out like medusa she looked like she wanted to eat us alive and yelled at us telling us not to talk to the waitress like that, when she was standing behind her like a hateeka (hateeka meaning idiot). Then the manager goes on a rant fighting with us and says "bye bye" what kind of manager says that to their customers. Bottom line if you can't act professional then you shouldn't be a manager come on! Who does that!? This is the worst experience EVER had at a restaurant anywhere. Oh and they're racist

If you are looking for delicious Detroit Style Square pizza in the downtown area, head to Niki's in Greektown. I tried this place on a whim and it was fantastic! The buttery, crunchy, yet moist on the inside crust is great. I usually hate crust and I gladly crushed all the crusts to my pizza. I ordered the large square cheese pizza and it was definitely more than enough for two people. The sauce is not overwhelming and the cheese was plenty enough. I definitely will be back for more square pies!

Extremely long wait. Below average service. Greek rice is served with pizza sauce ( totally not appetizing). Our waitress gave us the wrong bill twice. When we brought the first error to her attention, she didn't even apologize and just advised that she would remove the additional charge. When she came back the second time new wrong charges were on the bill again. Much better options of you're looking for Greek in the area. Don't eat here.

Extremely unprofessional and absolutely repulsive. I attempted to order pizza at quite a late hour, seeing as I was here for a conference, and was told by a young woman answering the phone "we are closed" after the website said they were open passed 4am (it was before 2am). I proceeded to question this, stating that I saw that they were open late, and the woman I spoke with proceeded to say "well, tonight we aren't." on a regular, run of the mill Saturday. I am extremely offended and frankly, pissed off, thanks to a rude and disrespectful employee would completely lie to me when I was calling this establishment to give them my business. I will not make that mistake again, that's for sure!

How I've never stumbled in here on a night downtown before last night goes unknown. We wanted something a little more substantial to eat after sampling all the yummy vodkas and tequilas at Yelp's Back to School Event., and Niki's was the closest to where we parked (we are lazy). Huge place! We sat at the bar and I felt like I was under a pergola outdoors somewhere. 9PM on a Thursday night and we were one of 4 parties in the place... made me a little nervous but then I remembered we are in Detroit, not Chicago. It made me sad to think that there are so many cool, delicious and fun local establishments sitting open and empty on nights when there isnt a game or event going on downtown. We weren't starving but I wanted to try a few things... so we started with the Saganaki-- YUMMO! I am a huge fan of cheese of any kind but flaming cheese just is the most SUPER kind... and Niki's does it right! I read in another review that it just doesn't taste the same as other establishments - this is true! It was some of the gooiest - like how the cheese stretches all the way from the plate of the saganaki to the fork entering my mouth... a good foot away. YUM! I prefer my cheese like this, so it was perfect. It was served with a basket (more like a loaf, damn - carb overload!) of fresh thick white bread slices. We also split the 2 slice and Greek salad. The feta cheese on the salad was so fresh and delicious, and you can't go wrong with Niki's Greek Dressing (hubby's favorite, he says this is the greek dressing they serve at Jet's Pizza as well). The salad was very generous in portion size. Then out comes the pizza - can you believe we only could each eat 1/2 slice? The sauce is sweet, and the crust is buttery, crunchy and delicious... not quite Buddy's but close! A little skimpy on the pepperoni.. but I am still extremely satisfied with my experience! We didn't order drinks, but they seemed to have a decent selection of bottles, but need to beef up their draft selection.

Recently ate at Nikki's after a show. Pizza was bad and the pepperoni pizza had only a few pepperonis. Pizza grade was a D. Gyro a C-. Gyro salad was OK and flaming cheese was pretty good B+. Would not go back. Had pizza at Nikki's about a year ago and it was much better.

The pizza is just ok I wouldn't pay full price for it, it's best to go on Wednesdays when all larges are 1/2 off. Didn't like my servers sh*tty attitude, as if we were inconveniencing her by ordering our food, so I dared not asking her to bring me a drink so I went to the bar myself to get it, and the blonde funny built bartenders attitude was just as funky & sh*tty !

Love, love, love the pizza, but the service is a constant train wreak. Visited Nikki's numerous times and the out come is always the same, great pizza horrible service. Weird to see a Manger that is very visible not Manage at all, waitresses not waiting on tables instead involved in restaurant drama. Not giving up, just gonna order take out from here on.

Niki's Pizza was an absolute nightmare for a wedding rehearsal dinner on May 9th 2014 (Friday night). When the 50+ people in our group got to the restaurant, we proceeded to check in at the main entrance to Niki's where both managers on duty had no record of our reservation that was made months ago with a security deposit paid for and receipt to prove it. The middle-aged blond whom I forget her name and another manager, Nick suggested we try upstairs at Niki's Lounge to see if they have our reservation. We head upstairs and speak to Belenda whom has no record of our reservation as well. She suggests we try downstairs to which we tell her they told us to come up here. Mind you, our 50+ guests ranging from grandparents to children are all scattered throughout the downstairs and upstairs lounge and outside of the restaurant waiting for direction. Trying to keep my composure, I pull Belenda aside and suggest she go check her records for the receipt that we had on our phone. She disappears for 20 minutes so I head over to her office and we BOTH check page by page in her receipt records book for our party's name. THERE WAS NO RECORD OF IT. The receipt was emailed to us months before and the carbon copy of the receipt had Belenda's name on it and she claimed she had no idea who we were. The soon to be bride and groom were animate that they spoke to her directly along with the bride's mother several times leading up to the dinner. Flabbergasted she explains to me briefly that another manager named Ari may have screwed up the reservation and to our luck; Ari doesn't work for Nikki's anymore. Thanks Belenda for blaming it on someone who does not work there anymore! After an hour of back and forth arguing, they finally seat our party in the bar area but force everyone up the stairs because their elevator was broken. Belenda claims that she is only charging us the security deposit of $500 which should have been $850 which was the intended amount to be paid for the night that included ONLY pizza and salad. Also, she did not include anything else as an apology for the mishap. She repeated several times that the discount she provided is all she could do for us. After that, we did not see Belenda anymore and find out that she left for the night due to the situation. They end up sending Nick from earlier up to manage the party and he tried his best to make us happy. The pizza came out slow, there seemed to be no toppings on any of them, and their beer selection was lacking. Towards the end of the night, we speak to the head server who says that their elevator WAS WORKING FINE when we were told by MANAGEMENT that it was broken. He also stated that the discount was not what Belenda explained but rather a slight discount of the total bill that was already paid. Lastly, while I was waiting outside the restaurant waiting for last minute stuff, I notice a man sitting in a suit on his phone and I approached and asked if he was an owner, he explained that was a part owner and I told him everything. He seemed disconnected the whole time, seemed to not care, defended Belenda for actually being a people person, did not ask my name, nor take down any notes from the ordeal. His only response was that he would talk to Belenda and that's it. Furthermore, after some digging when we left, we noticed the charge for the security deposit was charged from Loco Bar and Grill which is the restaurant NEXT DOOR to Nikki's. I found that totally strange and odd. To conclude, the management staff along with the "co-owner" was absolutely terrible, misleading, and possessed no people skills. They did not compensate anything else to the situation nor provide a better environment for our large party. They pretty much ruined a night that a groom/bride should not have to deal with before their wedding. I will never deal with these people again and would NOT recommend them for a large party reservation.

Great pizza, mediocre service The pizza is the main attraction here though I've had a couple other items and I've never been disappointed with my meal. The pizza ranks up there with Buddys though I'd say Buddys still has the lead as far as best Detroit style pizza place. On Wednesday they have half off pizza which I highly recommend. My biggest complaint is the service at Niki's. I've gone many times and have had many different people wait on me. Usually it takes forever to get your waiter to come by even when the restaurant is virtually empty.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! The waitress wasted water all over me, my salad, my shoes and the floor. Never received an apology. Manager listened to the entire problem all night and never addressed it until we demanded to speak with her. Still, no apology. Waitress was depressed, atmosphere depressing. Old drunks who play security. Never recommend this hole in the wall. Manager took five bucks off using a bcbs. discount. We don't work there. Your managers are lying on the books "Niki's". Worst experience ever. Smh

Booked our rehearsal dinner at Nikis Pizza/lounge. WORST DECISION EVER!! Made the reservation several months in advance, put a $500 deposit down, and when 70 of my guest showed up they had nothing set up and no record of the reservation. The management team was very rude and not willing to make things better. They blamed us and did nothing until I showed them the receipt of the deposit. Unprofessional, rude, and dirty. I would not recommend Nikis Pizza or Nikis Lounge!

I went to this restaurant yesterday and the scenery was nice and the pizza looked amazing and more classy than most pizzerias. When our waitress came and asked us what we would like we told her our order. I asked her to cut the pizza with a clean cutter and she began being rude. She then asked "Do you want me to bring you the knife out" then I asked her if she can and I said please. But then, she said that they have only 1 knife and that she's not going to bring it out. I then asked her for a new waitress. The new waitress came and she was nice so I asked her for ranch. She gave me a Greek dressing bottle which had ranch in it and I mistook it for Greek dressing. She then said "why don't you look before you assume." I then asked to talk to the manager and the manager came out and she told us to just leave and go back to our home country. We were going to leave $20 to show that their attitude did not affect us but since the manager was also being rude we got up and left the place and also left the pizza. This place had very rude wait staff when we were there and the manager herself was rude. I do not recommend this place.

If you like Detroit-style pizza, you'll like Niki's. I'd say it's one of the better pizza places in the city. In my opinion, everything about the pizza is similar to, but not quite as good as, Buddy's. The crust is great, but not quite as crispy; the sauce is good, but not quite as flavorful; the cheese is nice, but not quite as cheesy...you get the point. Niki's has other things too, but I can't say I've tried too many of them. Sometimes the service is a little slow or spotty, even on slow nights. Still, I'd say Niki's makes a damn good pizza and I'd encourage anyone looking for Detroit-style pizza to give it a try sometime.

Great pizza and great service again tonight. Sarah the bartender was very friendly. Food was great! Gretchen the manager was also very friendly. Shots were awesome. Try the deep dish pizza if you want to leave full.

Pizza = great Sandwiches & Salads = nothing special French Fries = awesome Service can be hit or miss, depending if they're busy or not. Open late, and always a reliable stop for a greasy bite before a Tiger's game or after a night at the Greektown bars.

Loved the place, the decor, the football on TV and the fact that their OPA was some of the best I have ever had. Their pizza was outstanding as well, similar to Buddy's but better in my opinion. No one really in there on a Thursday night but I was ok with that - we got all the attention. Did I mention to order the Saganaki? You will thank me later. Cons: Get a better draught beer selection!

The feedback from people I know has been mixed, and it looks like it's the same here on Yelp. For lunch I ordered a chicken kabob with rice pilaf and pita bread. All of the food items except for the iced tea had the same undertaste, which I suspect is because the grill hasn't been cleaned in ages. The texture of the chicken was off, like it was slightly undercooked. Truthfully, Kerby's Coney Island in Warren and Farmington Hills do a better job. I will likely come back to try the pizza, but for an evidently Greek-themed restaurant, I was hoping to see items like Mousakka and Pastitsio, but I guess they can leave that to other authentic Greek restaurants in the area.

This was the best pizza I've ever had. I smoked only a slice and im sad I didn't order an entire pie for myself. The staff was nice and patient. The atmosphere was cool. Parole were watching the basketball game and it felt like a true local eatery. I am from California and this type of place is not where I am. I will dream of this pizza and next month when I'm back in town I will surely be ordering the entire pie for myself.

I was gonna do 5 stars but I know a lot of my enthusiasm comes from nostalgia and unfortunately, the service can be sketchy most times. I was 17 when I came to Detroit and this was the very FIRST place I was taken when I got here. It was July, I wasn't carded so we sucked down pitchers of Labatts on the roof deck, scarfed the kick ass pizza and watched the fireworks on the river. See how I could be biased by the memories? This was my first experience with "Detroit style" and I have never looked back. This is one of the best/ personal favorites. I go back whenever I can: conference downtown, Tigers game, jacked up property paperwork at the CAY building, etc. etc. Any excuse really........Seems to always be a toss up whether to hit Nikki's or Mexican-Town. This last visit, took my little sweetie to a baseball game and Nikki's afterward....always love the pizza. It looks like they upgraded the interior and looks a lot better than it did....also, I don't know if they still have a patio(?)...Slow /inattentive service was forgiven per usual. Parking blows and can be a hassle, it is, however located directly below the Bricktown exit of the people mover if you are so inclined. Their cheesy commercial for their "after dark" lounge disturbs me....Yikes.

Wednesdays are 1/2 off pizza day, which is a great deal. Pizza and salad are the best choices. If in a larger group try to bring cash.

I ordered a pizza, but it only came with toppings on 1/4 of the pizza. The pizza was not cooked. The dough was raw and when I called they did not seem to care and told me they were busy (evidently too busy in the middle of the afternoon to cook food to a legal temperature). They only offered to remake the pizza and have me return immediately, which I was not able to do. As soon as I opened the box it was evident that the pizza should not have been served to anyone. The service here is hit or miss. I used to love Niki's Pizza (when it is actually cooked), but it is so unreliable that I think this is the last time I will spend my hard earned money at this unreliable restaurant. I don't know why they can't cook a pizza long enough to be edible. I had to throw it away or risk getting food poisoning and it was a waste of my precious money.

Huge place on the edge of Greektown. The pizza is a very unique deep dish with a sort of corn bread dough, and garlicy sause. Wednesdays it's half-off large pizzas, which you just can't beat. Parking can be tricky, but that's par for the course in Greektown. Large TVs will show the evening's sporting event, and it's a short walk to many other downtown Detroit destinations. You can do a whole lot worse than Nikki's when looking for a place to grab a bite at night in Detroit.

We went there and ate out on the patio. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We started with the tazaiki( sry if that's spelled incorrectly ) with pita , then a Greek salad and finished with a slice of the feta pizza all of which was amazing ! The food is very very good and highly recommend !!

I worked at Niki's the summers of 1985,1986, and 1987. I started as a cashier and doing carryout. They were crazy busy for slices into the wee morning hours. Next summer I waitressed and even did the flaming Saganaki's OPA! In 87 the upstairs was turned into a fine dining restaurant but soon it turned into a club. The interior of the downstairs has since been remodeled and expanded. Looks great! The pizza and greek salad was awesome as it hasn't changed. The wipe out their pizza pans, put in dough that is made daily, put the greek sausage on top of the dough so the juices seep in, Kasserie cheese is placed on top then the sauce. My boyfriend had the chicken kabobs. They were obviously marinated and so juicy and tender. The owner Dennis remembered me and we had fun talking about the way we used to play soccer in the street as the cleaners went by and the sun was rising. He even bought us a drink. This is the first time I'd been there since I moved back from Miami. Can't wait till the summer and we can get a pizza to go to take to Belle Isle with the doggies!

Horrible service. I called twice during lunch time and both times i was put on hold for 5 mins before I disconnected. The second time it was worse where she said 2 seconds and the phone hung up on me after 5 mins. I cursed myself for even waiting so long. If they are busy, why don't they give us a realistic estimate of the wait time? I am never going to call them again to order!

The pizza was very good, good salad and good service. The pizza is reminiscent of Numero Uno which is my favorite. Not your standard pizza. Try it! It made for a fun evening topped off by dancing upstairs. Can't wait to go again!

I've come to this restaurant quite a few times with co-workers as it's right in the heart of downtown. Pizza and salad are very good, and reasonably priced. In fact, they get all 4-stars of this review. The wait staff is not as impressive, and has shown attitude towards me on more than one occasion, especially when it came to splitting a bill, like it was a Herculean chore (it's not). I always fear that part of my experience, but my fears are quelled as soon as that succulent pizza hits my tongue.

We went here really late, the waiter did not seem to care and was super sweet. We ordered the whole menu basically. Even though the starter platters were awesome the pizza was motherfucking mindblowing, easily one of the best we've tasted. I had a couple of pieces of the incredible greek feta pizza boxed up for later, I didn't even give it to the bums outside, that's how much I was looking forward to eating that later. The vegetarians loved the spinach pie, not too stoked on the deep fried mushrooms though.

We came here today and I really wanted to give it 5 stars. We ordered a Greek salad and pizza. Large specialty pizzas were half off so we ordered the super pizza with no mushrooms. Both myself and my bf hate mushrooms. First, the sodas were horrible. No carbonation at all, I had to try three before I settled on the Mt Dee. Then we get the salad and everything tasted great. The pizza came and was loaded with mushrooms :( exactly what we didn't want. The waitress who was very nice offered to get us a new one but we had already waited long enough and didn't want to wait any longer. We picked the mushrooms off and ate it and then gave the leftovers to a homeless guy outside. All in all, I really liked the food and the service was great.

We often come here prior to Tiger and Lion games. The pizza is excellent however the service is not always good. Often there is not a bartender and a server must come behind the bar to wait on people. Back to the food. The pizza is one of my favorite square pizzas anywhere. To say it is in the Top 25 in the country may be a stretch however I am sure there are parts of the country that square pizzas are not offered so they have the "different" factor going for them. The salads are large and always fresh. Overall this is a great place to go for pizza. I just wish the service was on par with the food.

Prompt service but I suspect that is because everything is per made and ready to go.....frozen gyro at a Greek restaurant is disappointing.....the spinach pie was microwaved and the pizza was ok....probably would have been much better had it been ordered fresh and not as a slice.

Stopped by before the Wings game last night. Didn't have to wait long to grab a table for 3. Started off with Saganaki Opa and the Octopus. Opa was piping hot and delicious with the bread side. Quite the spectacle too. Octopus was okay, not the best I've had, but serviceable. The three of us split a large Super with the lamb. It was delicious and my brother got to take some home. Service was great until the end, when we had to wait for the waiter to come by and give us the check. Still, I'm a fan and will be back again if in Detroit/in the area.

Hmm. When I hit Niki's earlier this week, the place was dead. Guess I could see why. I ordered the Greek Salad and Two Slice Meal thinking it would allow me to taste the establishment's staples. The Greek salad was okay but nothing really to write about (unless it's for Yelp). The lettuce was your standard, tasteless iceberg variety. The beets were okay. Though, the feta was actually quite good. I've had better; I've had worse. The square pizza was... ugh. Yes, that's an official restaurant review term. The sauce was sort of added on as an afterthought. The crust seemed reminiscent of Crisco shortening. The cheese was merely okay. Having eaten here once, I'd be happy to try other Greektown establishments. And, like Christine C, I also noticed the cockroaches in the place. Yes, really.

I get really nostalgic when i think about Nikkis Pizza because it has been a staple in my life for as long as i can remember. My dad would take my brother and I down to the DAC on weekends and would follow every trip with a visit to Nikkis for lunch aka the highlight of my weekend as a 7-year old girl. As my tastebuds have most definintely matured since then, but i can still honestly say that this is my favorite pizza in Detroit. i'm a huge fan of square pizza (Jet's, Buddy's alll on the top of my list) but something about the way Nikki's does it warms the cockles of my heart. The ratio of cheese to sauce is JUST right and the crust is not overly heavy, but cooked to such crispy crunchy perfection. I honestly have never tried anything else on the menu besides the pizza and the greek salad, but why would you if this is their signature dish? The patio in the summer is great for outdoor dining (superb people watching). Also, they have a really good lunch special...i think like $5 or $6 for a small greek salad and a slice or two. Please do yourself a favor and try this place, you won't be sorry!

The service was terrible, as it took a long time to order, get our food, and it even took longer for the server to process just ONE credit card. Food itself wasn't that special. Admittedly I didn't try their raved "greek pizza" but I had their suggested 1-2 pizza combo dealie and it left me underwhelmed. It felt like these pizza slices for frequent ordering were just placed under a heatlamp rather than cooked to order. I also noticed cockroaches in the bathroom, so that didn't help my extremely mediocre dining experience nor service in the establishment.

In town for business and this place was a short walk from hotel & well worth it! I had a $6.95 special that included their Greek salad & slice of their famous pizza. Absolutely delicious & I've eaten a lot of salads & pizza in my time!! Salad was very fresh, feta & (even beets) delicious & I'm stuffed! Service was really good too. I grabbed a sidewalk table facing the street to people watch & was very happy (even in the rain). Thick crust pizza, great flavor. I'd definitely come back here again (& again)....

My ex thought it was an atrocity that I would always order the chicken gyro from here. He would bitch that gyros weren't gyros if they had chicken and why would I order that at place with amazing pizza? Well...thankfully I kicked him to the curb, along with his stupid pretensions. Seriously though, I do love the chicken gyro here. The pizza is pretty good, especially after a downtown bar crawl. I've also have enjoyed the Greek salads here and the spinach pie. Don't order the pop here as its that generic foodservice stuff, where the diet coke tastes like celery. Instead get a cheap pitcher or just stick to the lovely water provided by DWSD. Try to get a table on the patio during the summer, it allows for some great people watching. Nothing here ever has been stellar, including the service, but its easy, its fast and it hits the spot before a game, after pub crawl or whenever. Guess its an A-OK in my book!

For nostalgia's sake, I could never give this place less than five stars! During my middle school and high school years my mother used to take me here every year after my annual check-up at Henry Ford Hospital. I hated going to the doctor and going to Niki's was how my mom coaxed me into going. It has probably been ten years since my last visit. As always, we started with the saganaki, fried Kasseri cheese doused in brandy and set afire. Opa! I could eat it every day! We also split a Greek salad and a small (4pc) pizza). Same as the good old days! If you like gooey, cheesy pizzas, than this one is for you! All this for $21!! If I lived in Detroit, I'd be here all the time. BTW, our waiter was excellent! He paid just the right amount of attention to us and timed our appetizer, salad and pizza perfectly. If you are strolling down the River Walk or blowing your money in the casino, take a break and go to Niki's for great cheese and pizza. Opa!

Waited over an hour for my food, waited 30 mins to even be asked for a drink. Got up and left before my food even came to the table. Worthless place, with a worthless staff. Won't be going back. Do your self a favor and check out pizza papilas or slices. Both make Nikki's look like trash.

Ended up here only because Supino Pizzeria was closed for a week... Had lamb/mushrooms/pizza and a "Greek" salad. Called and asked if lamb was in fact lamb chunks and not sausage - got gyro squares (that's lamb AND beef). Salad was just bunch of nasty lettuce, two tomatoes, two olives and some onions. Greeks can't make pizza. Stick to quality ingredients and your native cuisine!

Upon my visit to Nikki's, I experienced both ups and downs. The pizza, fantastic. And the service right off the bat was great as well. However, while waiting for my pizza I sat at the bar. The blonde bartender had asked if we needed anything and then rudely dismissed us before letting us answer. I will come here again for the pizza and with hopes that I don't get serviced by the same bartender.

We usually get carry out and can't resist the pizza with feta cheese. It's really awesome. Dining in is nice too as long as you do it on a weekday or in the afternoon on a weekend. The club noise upstairs gets a little out of control on a weekend night. I would have given their pizza 5 stars, except for the weekend dining experience. So basically 5 Stars on the awesome pizza, -1 for the noise from Niki's lounge upstairs.
Niki's still holds a special place in the heart. I always come back when I hit Detroit for pizza and salad - they have a super addictive homemade dressing. Don't come here expecting "Jesus Christ worthy service" but I feel taken care of and I love the food. Great place to come to after the game or before a swing at the casino (if that is your thing).

This is a great place to come before a Tiger's game or to line the stomach before a night on the town. Pizza is pretty good and the Greek salad is tops. Also, love the crowded outdoor dining where you can hear street performers and watch cars go by. Negative - I hate the lampshades! They are the same ones in Loco's. They are in dire need of an update...just sayin'. Tip: They usually have coupons on their Web site (typically $4 off any large pizza). Check here before hitting them up: nikispizza.com

Dayna C.
First of all the service wasn't that great. You'd think on a Friday night they'd be doing their best to keep everything in order and they weren't even busy. Secondly we had a Restaurant.com coupon and they wouldn't honor it. But they offered to give us 25% off. Hmmm.... instead of $25 off of $35 or more, I'd rather have 25% off? Get out of here. As a business you should honor your mistakes. That should be something you just have to take a 'L' on. 25% isn't really a fair trade, especially since you've received more business as a result of offering coupons on Restaurant.com . So after we figured out they were not accepting our coupon, we sucked it up and stayed b/c we had already placed our orders and that's what you do when you have integrity. But we didn't have to stay and give them our money and I really wish in hindsight that we had left once we found out. There is Pizza Papilas right around the corner which I KNOW is good, but I digress. So we stay and wait. It takes them almost 30 min. to give us our order AND our pizza is cold. Our server said it was a mistake from the kitchen and they accidentally sent it upstairs. How does that happen? And how does it take 30 min to correct it? Our server was very absent minded and negligent. Wasn't worth it, even if the service was better, the food wasn't worth the price. Even after the 25% off! I won't be going back.

Niki's is awesome. Their pizza is really good, get a corner slice if you like crunchy. Steer clear of the salads and get some saganaki instead. The service here is spotty, but seems to be part of the charm somehow. The absolute best time to hit this spot is on the weekends, after a night of drinking and dancing. In a strange way it almost becomes an after hours spot. There is a club upstairs, and when it and nearby nightclubs close loads of folks drag their parties over here. Good pizza, great people watching, cheap prices.

Awesome Greek salads and pizza. Haven't tried much more than that. Definitely watch your credit card statement though...I've had the waitresses charge me for other bills.

The service was really good! The waitress we had was very kind and attentive. The pizza was delicious! But, I would stay away from anything else on the menu. I had the square Mediteranean and Super. Both were sooooo good! We also ordered the Saganaki. It was not good. There was too much alcohol and too much lemon juice. Also, it was served with pita bread instead of the delicious thick, Greek bread.
Well where do I start... how about the bill. $5.95 - saganaki $4.95 - tatzanziki $7.95 - FETA CHEESE PIZZA .... YEAHHHH $11.95 - pitcher of Miller Lite I know, I know they got us on the darn pitcher, however, this place is awesome. Everytime I am in Detroit I absolutelly HAVE to eat/drink here. In my opinion, they have the BEST pizza anywhere!!! This coming from someone from Chicago, home of some of the best pizza anywhere!!! I always leave this place at least slightly buzzed, totally stuffed, and with a smile on my face. The service could have been a bit better, but hey, I wouldn't cry about it. Overall, this place has a nice outside sitting area, a good selection of Greek beers, GREAT pizza, and you will never feel rushed.

Good stuff! If you're going here, get the pizza. It takes awhile because of the way they make it, but it is well worth the wait. Decent service, but the pizza is really the focus. I highly recommend going here before a Tigers game!

The niki's original deep dish pizza is great and pretty fairly priced. Best I've had in Detroit. There is a night club that is directly above it that gets pretty rowdy at night and you can hear the lil' wayne and dancing on the ceilings. I like it a lot more than buddy's. Also if you sit outside on the patio you will get hustled by the homeless.

Nikki's pizza is amazing, but the gyro was just ok. The waitress was very nice--she even helped us figure out a few things to do with the few hours left in my friend's visit to town.

Smh

The club noise is border line out of control, but the pizza is great!

We were in town for a concert my wife and I each had the classic gyro and oh my was it fantastic.

TOTALLY FREAKING GOOD!!! Its like Focaccia mated with a Pizza and they had a fatso baby. We got the Feta Pizza btw. OMFG. LOVED IT!

I'm 39 now but my friends and I used to drink beer here when we were 16, nobody seemed to care, good times, thanks Niki's

Fantastic pizza, hands down one of the best pizza pies I have had outside of NYC... I highly recommend. You have to try the flaming cheese...delicious

So good!

(3)Virginia L.
a surprizingly excellent place to a) do homework b) sober up c) get drunk d) meet up with people i like it.
(5)Jonathon J.
Amazing Pizza! I can't get pizza like it out here in Cali! They're open late, always friendly and did I mention the pizza is simply amazing!
(3)Misi P.

I would say it was worth it.

been coming here for years off and on, always good food, chicken wings and fries are realy good, and some people i know had the pizza with lamb on it and said that was realy good.

(5)Boner L.
The Shelter all you can drink night, followed by getting slices at Niki's. Those were the days! The Shelter ain't as cool as it used to be, but Niki's is still awesome
(4)Andrew B.
Nikkis is amazing!!!!!!! The pizza has an amazing feta, parm, motz cheese blend. I always order a bacon and lamb pie.... my mouth is watering just thinking about it. On the weekends they are open till 4am! I
(5)Lisa W.
I'm a cheese fiend and love the cheese on their pizza. I'm also not a pizza junkie but I do relish these slices. Even after they get all over the white shirt I wore to the fancy show across the street. Even then I shrug and eat another slice.
(4)Jonathan H.
love the greek pizza. Whenever I'm in Detroit I try to get some.
(5)Steve S.
This place was always one of my favorites in detroit. convenient to shows, excellent pizza, and inexpensive as well. get the saganiaki opa. you know you want to.
(4)RAY S.
(5)Rebecca O.
one of the only things i miss about working downtown is being so close to the good food like Nikki's. their pizza is so good. cheesy, with just enough sauce without going overboard. their salads are fantastic. and their appetizers are just as good. it's a great place for a "date night" dinner for two, or for a big group who want to have some beers and eat some pizza.

(4)Ricky P.
(2)Mark D.
(4)Patsy R.
Love Nicki's. We have been comming here for years. Salads are fresh and sooo generous. Their home made house Greek dressing is the bomb. Let me rave about their pizza !! Every piece is crusty on the edges yet tender in the center. Come to Nickki's, you will Love it.
(5)Shantel T.
The Greek pizza is on point here. It's the only thing I eat when I come here, it's that good! For the most part, the service is pretty good and attentive. It just depends on who you get. Happy eating! :)
(4)Mark F.
(3)Mitch W.
(5)LO K.

(4)David W.
I always liked Niki's, but the last few times have been terrible. The last pizza was really doughy (due to old, over risen dough). Definitely the worst pizza I've had in a very long time. They were also allowing people to smoke cigarettes on the deck, yuk! I'll never go back.
(1)Margaret K.
This is a local favorite! The restaurant is awfully spacious! It has a hell of a Greek salad and the Greek pizza is out of this world. The prices are reasonable and it isn't usually too busy! I've always had efficient and friendly service. Also, the have outside seating (which is much appreciated)
(5)Anye F.
(4)Daniel D.
Niki's pizza is the best establishment down town, there's no where else you should even consider going. Fun and friendly, have a shot of Detroit River Water get your night going. If I'm downtown at the Casino or out at the bar this is the place to make sure your night will start off right.
(5)Jennifer S.

(1)Paige P.
Nikki's pizza is amazing, but the gyro was just ok. The waitress was very nice--she even helped us figure out a few things to do with the few hours left in my friend's visit to town.
(4)Marlena P.

(4)Adela B.
(3)Jim S.
(1)Ray G.
Best Pizza in the World! Forget the rest - Niki's Pizzeria is the best!
(5)Youssef A.
(1)Edward L.
(4)Ace A.
(1)Caitlin K.

(4)Lance R.
(2)DeAndre M.
(2)Jordan W.
So good!
(5)Sandra P.

(5)Carole H.
Pizza = great Sandwiches & Salads = nothing special French Fries = awesome Service can be hit or miss, depending if they're busy or not. Open late, and always a reliable stop for a greasy bite before a Tiger's game or after a night at the Greektown bars.
(3)Peter M.
(4)Chris P.
(3)Senora G.

(4)Mars N.
I love the pizza here. The detroit style square pizza is one of the best in Detroit.
(5)Sean H.
So delicious. Can tell they don't use cheap ingredients. The cheese on the greek pizza was so good. Reminded me of my favorite cincinnati pizzeria.
(5)Victoria A.
ahhhhh.... I put in my order when I stop by for lunch. Their buttery crust is amazing. big fan here .. Nikkis has been around for years and I am grateful to be around to enjoy their pizza!
(4)Heidi S.
Wednesdays are 1/2 off pizza day, which is a great deal. Pizza and salad are the best choices. If in a larger group try to bring cash.
(4)Brigitte B.
(1)Steve T.
(4)Jenny P.
(5)Sheila S.
(5)Sharada T.
(1)Judye R.
The pizza was very good, good salad and good service. The pizza is reminiscent of Numero Uno which is my favorite. Not your standard pizza. Try it! It made for a fun evening topped off by dancing upstairs. Can't wait to go again!
(3)Mark L.
(4)MJ W.
The club noise is border line out of control, but the pizza is great!
(3)Chris B.
We were in town for a concert my wife and I each had the classic gyro and oh my was it fantastic.
(4)Kvelertak L.
(5)Nikki B.
(4)Phil F.
TOTALLY FREAKING GOOD!!! Its like Focaccia mated with a Pizza and they had a fatso baby. We got the Feta Pizza btw. OMFG. LOVED IT!
(5)David R.
(4)Kevin R.
Prompt service but I suspect that is because everything is per made and ready to go.....frozen gyro at a Greek restaurant is disappointing.....the spinach pie was microwaved and the pizza was ok....probably would have been much better had it been ordered fresh and not as a slice.
(2)David K.
(4)Robert C.
(1)Greg Y.
I'm 39 now but my friends and I used to drink beer here when we were 16, nobody seemed to care, good times, thanks Niki's
(3)Eve B.
(4)Christine C.
(2)NJ T.
(5)Michelle I.
(3)Libby F.
Opa!
(5)Chris S.
Waited over an hour for my food, waited 30 mins to even be asked for a drink. Got up and left before my food even came to the table. Worthless place, with a worthless staff. Won't be going back. Do your self a favor and check out pizza papilas or slices. Both make Nikki's look like trash.
(1)S K.
(1)Madelyn R.
(3)Lori G.
(4)Robert D.
I'm not a fan of thick crust pizza, but this is exceptionally good. We had a couple of large pizza's taking advantage of half price Wednesdays. The Greek pizza with feta, onion, and slices of lamb was one of the best I have ever had. The décor is rough warehouse but was comfortable enough. The waiter very accommodating bringing plenty of refills.
(4)M P.
(4)Lauren W.
(3)Dayna C.
(1)Erin Y.
(4)Rebekah J.
Awesome Greek salads and pizza. Haven't tried much more than that. Definitely watch your credit card statement though...I've had the waitresses charge me for other bills.
(4)Tommy H.
Fantastic pizza, hands down one of the best pizza pies I have had outside of NYC... I highly recommend. You have to try the flaming cheese...delicious
(5)True D.
(4)Wadim S.
Dont get the Gyro.
(3)Wes Z.
This once great restaurant has fallen on hard times. The place is still big and beautifully decorated inside. Big windows, lots of natural light, exposed beams and an open kitchen (tons of potential). Ambiance is only half the experience. I didn't have pizza this time, although I heard it's still delicious. I had gyros and my fiancé had fried calamari. She said her calamari was excellent. Being in a Greek restaurant, I expected my gyros to be juicy and fresh off the cone on the vertical rotisserie. Instead I got Pre-frozen and Pre-cut strips of gyro that were killed in a microwave then killed on a flattop grill. Terrible and embarrassing on the restaurants behalf.
(3)Bob T.
(4)Sarah G.
Good stuff! If you're going here, get the pizza. It takes awhile because of the way they make it, but it is well worth the wait. Decent service, but the pizza is really the focus. I highly recommend going here before a Tigers game!
(4)Tony M.
(4)Anye F.
(4)Ken K.
(4)Ricky P.
(2)Mark D.
(4)Mark F.
(3)Mitch W.
(5)LO K.

Nikki's pizza is amazing, but the gyro was just ok. The waitress was very nice--she even helped us figure out a few things to do with the few hours left in my friend's visit to town.
(4)Marlena P.

Best Pizza in the World! Forget the rest - Niki's Pizzeria is the best!
(5)Youssef A.

(4)Caitlin K.

(4)Lance R.
(2)DeAndre M.
(2)Sandra P.

(4)Firstname L.
Smh

(5)Faris Q.
Great pizza and great service again tonight. Sarah the bartender was very friendly. Food was great! Gretchen the manager was also very friendly. Shots were awesome. Try the deep dish pizza if you want to leave full.
(5)Carole H.
Pizza = great Sandwiches & Salads = nothing special French Fries = awesome Service can be hit or miss, depending if they're busy or not. Open late, and always a reliable stop for a greasy bite before a Tiger's game or after a night at the Greektown bars.
(3)Peter M.
(4)Chris P.
(3)Dave F.
(1)Senora G.
(5)Jenny P.

(1)Steve T.
(4)Sheila S.
(5)Sharada T.
(1)Judye R.
The pizza was very good, good salad and good service. The pizza is reminiscent of Numero Uno which is my favorite. Not your standard pizza. Try it! It made for a fun evening topped off by dancing upstairs. Can't wait to go again!
(3)Mark L.
(4)MJ W.
The club noise is border line out of control, but the pizza is great!
(3)Chris B.
We were in town for a concert my wife and I each had the classic gyro and oh my was it fantastic.
(4)Kvelertak L.
(5)Nikki B.
(4)Phil F.
TOTALLY FREAKING GOOD!!! Its like Focaccia mated with a Pizza and they had a fatso baby. We got the Feta Pizza btw. OMFG. LOVED IT!
(5)David R.

I'm 39 now but my friends and I used to drink beer here when we were 16, nobody seemed to care, good times, thanks Niki's

(1)S K.
(1)Madelyn R.
(3)Lori G.
(4)M P.
(4)Lauren W.
(3)Dayna C.

(5)True D.

(4)Sarah G.
Good stuff! If you're going here, get the pizza. It takes awhile because of the way they make it, but it is well worth the wait. Decent service, but the pizza is really the focus. I highly recommend going here before a Tigers game!
(4)Tony M.
(4)Tiffany E.
the pizza here is great... will definitely go again
(4)Chad P.
(4)Nikki T.
(4)Cherice J.
(4)Steve D.
(4)Mitch Kim D.

(1)Katie H.
(3)Melissa H.
(4)Mr B.
been coming here for years off and on, always good food, chicken wings and fries are realy good, and some people i know had the pizza with lamb on it and said that was realy good.
(3)Geordie B C.
(4)Virginia L.
a surprizingly excellent place to a) do homework b) sober up c) get drunk d) meet up with people i like it.
(5)Jonathon J.
Amazing Pizza! I can't get pizza like it out here in Cali! They're open late, always friendly and did I mention the pizza is simply amazing!
(3)Misi P.
Damn I haven't eaten at Niki's in a hot minute. Definitely a Detroit favourite, post St. Andrews, back in the day. Pizza's great, and just about everything else, plus it's got a super convinient location in Greektown.
(4)RAY S.
It's detroit so parking is very hit and miss if you don't want to pay for parking in a lot but sometimes you'll get lucky and there will be a spot right on the street.
