Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Kwong Village has some of the best food I have ever eaten, and the price is so affordable. The boneless almond chicken is very good. if you don't like your chicken mushy ask for the sauce on the side. The eggrolls are just average.

Wow! Every since Stanley's closed down i have been looking for some good chinese food. Well people, i'm here to tell you that this place is awesome! The food is good, the service is good, and did i say that the food is good! The restaurant sits on the corner of Michigan and Burton in Detroit. Don't let the way the building looks keep you away. Go in there and try them, you won't be disapointed!

Must try their lo mein deluxe! Food is delicious, good for take out orders. One thing is there's no good spot for parking.

I love Chinese food and try to stop at different places in various cities. None can compare to Kwong Village!! Wherever I go, I always end up comparing everything! They don't give you as much as Kwong Village does...the gravy isn't like K.V....Kwong's have fresher veggies than...I can't help it! We're Kwong Village food addicts! Lol! Me and my family have been coming here since they opened years ago and we'll continue being faithful patrons! The prices can't be beat and the portion sizes are deliciously outrageous! Lunch specials are an even greater deal at Kwong Village because you still won't be able to finish it! Sweet & Sour Chicken, Almond Boneless Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Beef Pea Pods & Mushrooms, Shrimp or Pork Egg Foo Young, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce... Mmmmm am I making you hungry yet? These are a few of our favorites but there's MORE! Did I say More? Ooooh yes I did! I forgot to mention Kwong Village has THE BEST GRAVY, it is just so flavorful! The SWEET & SOUR SAUCE is THE BEST too, it's not sugary sweet or that bright, sickly red kind either! They have vegetarian dinners and they make spicy Szechuan foods here too!! They also sell their delicious food by the pint and quart if you don't want a dinner! If you don't see a combo dinner you want on their menu they'll make it for you!! When I wanted veggies with my S&S Ch dinner, they made it for me! The owner and her sons are wonderful people! You'll see when they take your order! Oh, and tell them Diane sent you!! If you haven't been to Kwong Village yet, you should take your...umm...your-self (lol) on over to get your Chinese food fix on!! After writing this I feel the need for some Egg Foo Young now! You won't regret it!

I'm beginning to know Chinese food pretty well... My fiancé has introduced me to the world because he grew up eating it and continues to look for the best restaurants everywhere we go. That being said, I can honestly say you can't go wrong with Kwong Village. The food is authentic and flavorful. Everything comes quick and in huge portions. Worth the visit. Definitely do not be intimidated by lack luster appearances of the lobby or outside. Hole in the wall food at its best

Best Chinese food in the area with out a doubt. Can never go wrong with choosing to get food from here, especially if it's before 4pm because of the cheap lunch specials! I work in downtown detroit and I always take my coworkers here and they love it as well.
