Came in on a Friday for a coney dog. I've seen this place on tv along with Lafayette next door and have been wanting to give them both a try. To me, it was your average coney dog, no frills or anything. I will say that this place was way cleaner and smelt much better than the place next door.

This place is so American... I loved it! I mean if Anthony Bourdain liked this place I had to try it out! I mean really what is not to love? Chili dogs! Chili fries! Beer! They serve Bad Ass Beer which is made by my favorite Kid Rock! It's a bright, cheery, clean, cute place. They have counter seating along with a bunch of tables. The service was good and fast! Seriously natural casing hot dogs are the best! The prices are right too! Definitely a classic!

Fast, cheap, and delicious. Had the Coney Island Dog and a greek salad, both were great and the price couldn't be beat!

Unfriendly staff and very limited menu. No gluten free options. Even the salad dressing and nacho cheese have gluten.

I visited during a Sunday afternoon when there were weather advisories out for southeast Michigan. There weren't as many customers as usual, as a result. Initial service was slow, even tho there were plenty of employees and virtually no customers. I almost walked up to ask if they were closing early do to the weather, but then a waitress walked over and took my order. From then on the service was good. My order came out quickly and it made for a great meal.

Took my family of 16 there for dinner. The servers and manager were very accommodating and attentive. My experience was 10 times better than at the coney place next door, where they were rude and a behaved as if they were doing me a favor to serve me. The coneys were good, so were the chili cheese fries I ordered. What more is there to say? Coney Islands are simple with simple fare. The price was right too. All 16 ate for about $100.00 and everyone was fat and happy!
