I've been buying pizza since 1981 from them. The pizza is a hit or miss, mostly miss. A few things I hate. 1. They take your money without gloves then touch your pizza or make someone else's pizza, that's just dirty. 2. I pay extra money for more topping but you can't find them. Almost no toppings. 3. If you get there slice pizza (don't) it's made from the night before and refrigerator, they served for sale. Oh.. They heat it up and serve to you. 4. When you walk in there building, first thing will notice is how dirty it looks and the smell.

It's an old fashioned hole in the wall pizzeria with great pizza. If you're looking for some upscale ambiance or something like that then this isn't the place. But if you want great pizza at a very reasonable price (9.99 for an xl with 3 toppings) then I highly recommend it. All I've ever had is the pizza so unfortunately I can't personally recommend anything else.

The pizza is good but the chicken sub? chicken nuggets on a hoagie bun. Never again.

This is the best pizza in America. I have been going to Demarcos since the 1980's, and they have NEVER failed to serve up the most perfect pizza. It has a thin crust, light on the cheese, and the most perfect sauce. It is the closest thing I have found outside of Italy, that very close to a pizza margharita I once had near Rome. And as if that is not enough you get a lot of pizza for the $$.

I feel sad posting this, because this is a restaurant with a long history and a cute "old school" feel to it. But my family thought the pizza we ordered from DeMarco's was so bad that we literally taped it to the wall as a "trophy" to remind us never to go there again. I felt it was an okay pizza, but my husband and his grandmother (the resident pizza maker) were upset by the quality of the crust and toppings and most especially by the lack of sauce. There was only a thin layer of sauce beneath the cheese, and for my husband and Grandma that was a deal-breaker. [I personally thought the toppings were fine, but the sauce complaint was 100% true.] Maybe the in-house experience would be better than home delivery, but this was not a happy pizza moment for us.

What ruined my experience with DeMarcos (aside from the order taking wayyyy longer to arrive than promised) was the fact that it was totally incorrect! When I called an explained to the person answering the phone (apparently, the owner!) that my order was incorrect, he refused to replace it (even when I offered to come and pick it up!) or refund my money. Not exactly the way to keep customers coming back.

It's a sin for someone to mention DeMarco's pizza, and then NOT get one! As soon as someone mentions DeMarco's your taste buds start to salivate. Maybe its the perfect thin and crispy crust, or the tasty toppings. The pizza is always done to perfection. If you're craving the real deal, this is the one of the only place to go in the area for authentic Italian pizza. I always get the large w/ everything but anchovies and I order the crust well done w/ banana peppers on the side. OK. now that you know about the best, don't even bother with the rest!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
