Try it you won't be disappointed. If you go after Church on Sunday the wait is sometimes extra long. Very. Unique. One of the best places to eat in cold water.

Had the biscuits and gravy with a big cup of coffee and really enjoyed them. Got there early in the a.m. so the place was empty except for a table of locals. Service was good and the server was friendly and prompt. For breakfast it's a keeper.

My wife and I were out touring southern Michigan and came across Stoagie's just at the right time. Great food, excellent service, and smiles all around. We will be back in August and hopefully, be caught wandering around this part of Michigan again for breakfast.

Local unknown gem. Waitresses are delightful. The food is extraordinary. Full of local charm with an Americana theme. I recommend everything on the menu. It would be great if they were open for dinner.

Was not impressed. I ordered the rib-eye steak sandwich. I asked twice for A1, never got it. Didn't ask a third time because by the time I saw her again I was half way done. It took a very long time for our food to come, and since I recommended it from the recommendations on yelp I was a little embarrassed. The sandwich came with a dipping sauce which helped since it was dry. My Wife got the chicken breast with onion rings. She said the onion rings were great, My friends all got eggs. Hard to screw those up.

Nice little spot for breakfast! Atmosphere was clean and cozy, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast (veggie breakfast sandwich and a classic bacon & eggs plate) food was good.

Best tomato bisque ever! I was so hooked on the biscuits & gravy I never tried anything else here until today, and let me say the tomato bisque will be my constant lunch choice from now on....SO GOOD!

Great addition to the Coldwater breakfast scene! Wonderful old home turned restaurant. My favorite is the huge family-sized table in the original dining room. Looking forward to our next visit.

Actually we were looking for another place and couldn't find it and this place looked interesting. It's in a historic looking house. They have short hours meaning they close at 3 during the week and 2 on weekends. Our food was excellent. My husband had the tomato bisque soup and a 1/2 of a chicken salad. He is not one to like nuts and fruit in his salad, but he said it was just the right combo. I had bacon and eggs. I like my bacon crisp and it was done perfectly. When we are cruising through Coldwater again we will plan our stop accordingly!

Just discovered this gem of a cafe. Great breakfast with potatoes just the way I like them. The servers were friendly & attentive. I recommend this place highly!

Solid choice.. in town for a camping and fishing trip and made our way to this place for breakfast.. Solid choice here! Very unique looking place, amazing homemade biscuits and gravy and a great breakfast all around. They have several breakfast sandwiches and i would def be down to try one next time around.

Good food and service and reasonable prices. Had steak sub with tomato soup. She had Santa Fe chicken salad. No complaints.

We came to this place 2 times. The first time was on our way to the west side of the state. The second time was 2 weeks later when my wife and I went antique shopping. If you come here you need to have patience. If you are in a hurry, keep driving and go to McDonalds. If you want to have some good quality food in a relaxed, clean, pleasant environment, then stop by. Their hours are a little limited. I think they close around 2? All 4 dished we had were awesome. Service was decent, but was the only thing keeping the 5th star off my rating.

While visiting family in Michigan, we stopped at Stoagie's for lunch. Stoagie's is set in an older Victorian home, with a nice decor and layout. Our waitress was extremely hardworking, and seemed to be doing just about everyone's else's jobs, in addition to her own. She took orders, served, was our cashier, and cleaned up. Hell, for all I know, she was cooking in the back, too! I had the "Billy Bagel" - turkey and ham on a bagel, with garlic cream cheese. It was fresh and delicious! I had tomato bisque soup for my side, which was also good. My husband tried the club sandwich with seasoned fries, and my cousin had a BLT. Two thumbs up on everything! Prices were also reasonable. And they had a peanut butter pie that looked amazing - although we were too stuffed to try!

Great breakfast. Had the homemade biscuits and gravy and the farmers omlet. Both were excellent. Very unique feel in a big house with big windows. Service was VERY friendly.

My family and I stayed in Coldwater for a little get away and for the next morning wanted some breakfast and decided to stop in Stoagies. We were glad we did, they have delicious food, the service was excellent and the environment was very comfortable! My wife had their granola toast, my guess is their style of french toast, and let me tell you...granola toast is sooo much better than french toast! I had their waffle and it was great, but after having a taste of the granola toast, I wanted more! If you are ever in Coldwater, MI. looking for a great breakfast spot, check Stoagies out!
