This location can be summed up as Clean,Friendly and Fast. Sadly it seems to be the norm that cleanliness is not a given in restaurants. This location, although very busy is extremely clean. There are more than enough waitstaff. They help each other out so if your person is tied up two come over to help. These people never stop moving. They are all very welcoming. It seems this is the equivalent of the bar CHEERS. They know all their customers and smile and make small talk as they wiz around the room. That's nice! VERY friendly with a family feel. Fast because even with every table full the kitchen keeps up. You are not waiting for what seems a lifetime. As food goes there are no surprises, standard diner fare served hot and fast. If you are looking for a place to eat that's clean friendly and fast this is it.

This place is near my barber, so I popped in after a cut. The 5 x 5 burger seemed to beckon me, so I indulged. Tasty, :) . There were some decent specials on the board if I had noticed it, but that will be for a later date ... look for the board, ;) . Moderately priced, service with a smile, quick on the refills ... world famous sliders, small parking lot, good for kids, a counter, casual. I'll be back. :)

There might be a better hamburger somewhere else, however I've yet to find it. The 5x5 with grilled onions is the best on the planet. Concealed carry firearms approved.

It's been over a month since going here and I'm still dreaming about the sliders. I mean, they are perfect. So perfect. Nothing will ever compare and now I will cry forever. Why don't places in LA serve REAL sliders?

The foods ok. Exactly what you would expect from a diner. Nothing here i crave or anything. The people that work there though. .. They seem miserable. They really do. They were doing some sorry of fund raiser selling candy. I asked the woman ringing me up for take out how much it was. She sighed pretty loudly and said I'd have to ask someone else. Then i looked next to her and there was a big jar with a giant sign. 'Candy $1!'. Lol. They work hard though because this place is always busy. Foods consistent. Never bad.

I've had breakfast here a few times before going in to work; it's a decent place with standard breakfast options... not the best but not the worse... However, I like it for breakfast cause it's tasty and it's cheap. For lunch I think burgers is probably the best they have, and they are pretty good... not amazing either, but pretty good indeed, again good for the price. cheers!

This is the kind of family restaurant to add to your "old standby" list. It's the kind of place you'd like to be a regular on Sunday afternoons. Travis is often touted for its burgers, but the menu is a bit more diverse than that. A lake perch or walleye dinner is never a bad idea here, and there are some really solid sandwich offerings. It's a Midwestern-style family restaurant that does everything decent and does a few things very, very well. Add to that Travis's very kind and prompt customer service, and I'd be happy to stop by Travis anytime.

I'm basing this review on service and the food. The food was just okay and the good thing is that it came out really fast. On the service.......when we got to the restaurant, we seated ourselves and then we waited and waited and waited. The place was near empty with only 2 other tables so there was no way no one saw us at our table and this place is small. We actually had to get up and get our own menus and then we just kept waiting. I looked around and the waitresses were just standing around. After what seemed like forever a waitress finally comes and gives us water. I didn't even feel like eating after that. And then after getting our food, she never came back to refill our waters or check up on us. Won't be coming back here.

Best breakfast ive ever had, quick and friendly service, and very affordable. 10'times better than the one on 9 mile. Only thing that could make it better is if they didnt ask to refill your coffee so dam much haha

I just love this place. I've gone here on and off since I lived in St. Clair Shores. The great thing about this place is that they've changed NOTHING. It looks exactly the same. They use the same menus. When I come here, I feel like I'm walking into the past. So many memories eating at this place. The best part? The place is CHEAP. The food may not be of the best quality (not sure why I say that. Just a vibe I get... the grease compensating for it, or something?), and the restaurant itself may not be the cleanest place you'll eat at, but either way, it's good eating, and REALLY hits the spot when you're drunk.

Old school diner feel with burgers as their staple. Ordered the Frisco burger. Great meat to bread ratio, lettuce was crisp, the sautéed onions were great. Wait staff was attentive and polite. Great burger at a price point that doesn't break the bank.

Always excellent food and service!!! If you want the best breakfast on the east side this is the place. Big portions, spicy sausage patty, great hash browns, I add onion to mine... Also love the Travis 5x5 burger with grilled onions and pickle... It's like a super White Castle burger that didnt make me feel gassy. The wait staff is always smiling and friendly and the cooks always put out great food. Overall I love to eat here for any meal and highly recommend the breakfast!!!!

Never disappointed! I expect the same delicious onion smothered burger that I have eaten for decades. They deliver it and it is always the same consistency and taste. Nothing fancy for the building. Service is above average. Burgers are the main draw. Always get the grilled onions and pickles on the side. I really hope this place never changes. So far it has not and my fingers remain crossed;)
