Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

My kid gets a reading certificate for a free personal pizza once a month from this place and he insists on going. Typical shameless $2.99 incentive to come there. They will swap out for a lunch buffet and my boy thinks it's cool.....basically for the 73 cinnamon sticks he crams in his hole. My 12 yr old daughter and I know better. This place has the huge regret factor. Like a big bag of funions or fritos. Sounds like a good idea at the time, looks pretty good but after you start eating you just feel sooooo gross. This pizza is pretty nasty. Never see anything interesting (previous post mentions breakfast pizza etc.) Their choices always seem grim, even at 11:30 on a weekday it seems they hired an MLM guru to make sure they put out juuuuust enough so that they have a few kids, moms, and a handful of local pseudo professionals (dress pants, fleece, phone belt clip, etc) meandering about holding an empty plate waiting to see if something edible is coming soon....perhaps settling for a handful of the sad iceberg. No pizza cookie, no square, no bbq or chicken pizza. All I saw was a cold thin cheese and 1/2 a supreme. At any rate, it is what it is, service is ok.

Usually order from here all the time, pizza is usually good but ordered from here again recently, placed a delivery order the woman said she couldn't take my card over the phone and that the delivery person would gladly charge my card, door bell rings pizza delivery guy is standing there and proceeds to tell me he cannot take credit cards. I had no cash. So he leaves, I proceed to call the manager, he doesn't say much but "uh huh, yes, and no" doesn't offer any discount just wants to resend the order?!?!?!?! Staff doesn't know what they are doing horrible.

Ordered carry out stuffed crust pepperoni pizza, & wings. I had to wait 15 minutes longer than I was told the order would take, so already off to a bad start. The pizza had so much pepperoni on it, it was a greasy mess. The pizza was so flat it looked like it was ran over by a steam roller. I wasn't expecting much from the Hut, but this was probably the worst pizza I've ever eaten. The wings and pizza crust were decent hence the 2 stars.

I've ordered delivery from here a few times. Usually they come around the time promised. Today unfortunately, I ordered a pizza at around 830, online order said it would arrive at 920. I waited around until 930 and decided to call. No one picked up. I waited a few minutes and called again, same problem. Its now 1020 nd no one is here yet...

Nothing great but standard for Pizza Hut. Slow service and everyone looks like they would rather be anyhwere but working. Food is ok if you want a fix and are in the area.

Horrible experience! I ordered online and I never received an email confirming my order so I called to be sure they had received my online order. They stated they had and my pizzas were in the oven and would be ready "in 5 minutes" (which would be 5 minutes than the promised time when I ordered). I proceeded to the store to pick up my order and the pizzas were not ready. They were promised online at 5:19pm- 5:24pm per the phone call, I received the pizzas at 5:45pm. I was very disappointed at being lied to by the person on the phone. If my pizzas had indeed already been in the oven they would have been burned to a crisp. I spoke to the "manager" who stated the girl on the phone never asked her if the pizzas were in the oven (even though I heard the conversation) and never once offered me compensation for my trouble. The "manager" also stated she had no idea how the online ordering works and I should call the store directly in the future. No concerns about that as I will not be returning to this store.

Worst of the worst as it comes to Pizza Huts. Given that it is a chain, the food is as expected and not the reason for the rating. The rating is a direct result of the lack of customer service, the attention to detail and the overall concern by the store manager. In our particular instance my son wanted to redeem a coupon from school for a personal pizza, so we stopped in and placed our order. 12 minutes later when the order was to be completed he was told another 11 minutes. 30 minutes into this ordeal the woman who took the order got into an argument with the ass. manager who was working in back over who was to blame, and we were then told "this stuff happens, wanna wait another 15?" and my son politely said we would be going to Dominos. Follow up from the store manager was not much better with excuses of "hard to find good help" and such, but he did graciously offer a small beverage on our next visti!!!! Needless to say we will never be back.

Not all Pizza Huts are created equal. This one has the infamous Pizza Hut Buffet! The Buffet goes from 11-3 (I think) and it's all you can eat at a cheap price. They'll have breakfast pizzas and regular pizzas and those amazing go-to-your-hips breadsticks. Also pasta, but nuts to that, it's PIZZA Hut.

Won't be back! Omg! Walked in to pickup called in order, girl at counter started ringing me up, stopped, handed my card back, and ran into other kitchen, I'm standing there like wth, in the mean time, guy boxing orders is constantly wiping his nose with his hand while fixing food, I can't f-ing believe this! Now an older lady walks up see's my order still on screen & rings me up, I immediately tell her about him wiping his nose and say can you make him wash his hands, now he can hear me, it's across counter, he starts wiping his hands on his shirt, wth! I say he's wiping his nose and fixing peoples food, she says...oh, that's a good idea, I SWEAR! exactly what she said to him, he goes in back now with the dissapearing first girl, didn't remake food, ask what he had packaged or anything! I say is my order made already, she checks, and says no, So of course now I'm not leaving counter, I'm watching my pizza being made, now from the back comes the guy(the wiper) with my order of wings! Hell nawl! I said I'm not accepting that order, please cancel those, then, the I think manager says, we will make new ones after I tell him why, but they still weren't upset about him wiping his nose or anything, still let him take that food on delivery. SO BEWARE! I won't be back for sure, I watched my food being made like a hawk! Only giving 2 stars because they remade my wings, I will never forget that, so I won't be back, I'm Leary about fast food cleanliness anyway, you never know, but to see that, & them be ok with it..WOW! Sorry to anyone who ordered delivery around that time, I tried to get your food remade, but no luck, Pepto works wonders though. 5:50PM 8/5/12

Good ol' reliable Pizza Hut. Without very many (if any) options around for eat-in pizza stylings, the Hut is a go-to. Standard quality fare includes buttery pan pizza, thin crust, the new "natural" whole wheat crust, boneless wings, cinnamon sticks, the $2.99 salad bar and even pasta. The waitresses are straightforward, expedient and nice. The place is decorated with local memorabilia on painted yellow brick, spaced out by the funky triangle windows that provide a nice quiet view of now-bustling downtown Clawson. The building is starting to show/feel some age, but over all good place to sit down and get a 'pie. Also, they serve beer and have their own convenient lot.
(3)Sarah M. B.
Dear lord, NOT IMPRESSED. We ordered carry out...now when ordering carry out I expect the pizza to be a little chilly, not needing to be totally reheated. They also got our order wrong and the crust tasted like nothing. Their usual delicious breadstix were small and over buttery and not as crisp as normal. I dunno....I guess that is what you get for the 10 dollar special, but bluck...I will never go back to this location. I did however, eat it because I was starving and it tasted better heated. However, if the quality we got that night is the norm, I don't expect this place to be standing much longer. I will never go back to this location-did I say that already?
(2)Stuart M.
It's the usual pizza hut pizza, service was slow. We ended up with wings, breadsticks, and the pizza all at the same time.
(4)Suzanne S.
I don't get pizza there but do the Tuscan Tuesday sometimes. You get 4 (I say 6) servings of chicken Alfredo or Marinara - they are both tasty and large amount for $l0. and 4 large reasonable bread sticks - less than $2.50 per meal and no dishes - CAN'T BEAT THAT
