Too smokey outside. The smoking area is adjacent to the deck, sadly. The food is nice but the beer selection could use some work.

This place doesn't try to be anything else other than exactly what it is: a sports bar with a lot of TVs and pretty good food to go with! We went here after a round of golf because the people with me said there is a deal that I said was preposterous. $6 burger, beer, and fries!!!!! It exists!! I was blown out of the water. The burger itself was, well a burger. It wasn't fantastic, but it was done right and the fries were crispy. For $6 I would never complain. We sat out on the patio which is all wood and had great umbrellas to give you some shade. Our total bill was $27 for 4. There was also a TV out on the patio for sports watching if you're into that. The service was fast and very friendly, the waitress checked on us multiple times to fill up our drinks. Overall: it's a fantastic place to buy some cheap bar food and catch a game or two. Was pleased with everything I got!

Friday night dinner and it was meh. Food was so so. The nachos, which I didn't have, did look solid. Very large serving and came out piping hot. Our sandwiches were so so. Nothing to write home about. Pretty decent serving sizes. The crowd was very mixed. A DJ started around 10 and I thought it was a little early and a little loud. Was surprised to see a DJ. The service was all right. Not supper quick and had to ask twice for drinks and even food, which may have been the kitchens fault. Not on my list of must revisit but if I was in the area I may consider it just to try the nachos.

The food selection was a little different than I expected, but I must say -- everything we ordered came out great. For an appetizer we tried the basket of bones - 8 pieces of tasty ribs slathered with a rather tasty BBQ sauces. There wasn't much meat on the bones, but they still tasted good. I tried the Trotter Steak with "Wut Dis Sauce" on it. It had a good grilled taste to. Instead of getting a potato, I opted for vegetables which were good and the salad with ranch was good as well. My wife tried the chicken pot pie. Their version was interesting with a flaky crust on the bottom of the plate - tons for creamy goodness and vegetables and another flaky crust on top. I had to try it and I must say it was pretty amazing. While we were waiting for our food, we saw some of the pizza come out of the back and they looked amazing. On our next visit I think we might try one of those. The service was excellent here. Quick to take our order and always refilling our drinks. Couldn't have asked for better service!

What a great undiscovered place to eat! We came here for the first time because of the Yelp coupon and we will definetly be back! I had the lemon shrimp and asparagus pasta, my husband had the fire burger. We also has the fried ravioli appetizer and it was great! Our server (didn't catch his name, damn it) was great. Absolutely friendly! Can't wait to go back as try something else....and the BEST part, gluten free pasta and burger buns!!!

Sportsmen's became my dining room away from home while I renovated a house. The staff is always friendly, and the food is very good. Suggestion: Order their pizza w/ the mozzarella & cheddar cheese -- great combo. The burgers are on pretzel rolls.

To rate soley on customer service, hospitality, and atmosphere would be a solid four stars. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. However a business and resturant service is merely half of the overall presentation. Food should take precedence. Food.....doesnt touch anywhere close to two stars. It is obvious nothing here is fresh. Screams prepared frozen foods. My fresh salad looked dated with browned leafs and three days old past expiration. If youre looking for a local place for beer, this is it, but as far as food it falls exceptionally low with quality. Ive been here twice, within two years of each other and out of pure second chance hoped it would be different but unfortunately it was not! Same poor quality food being served. I almost questioned how it past health department inspection.

I haven't been here in a while. Its close to home and i started coming for the pizza which was really good at first. It started to get greasier every time i went. I've tried a few different things on the menu all of which were not good. The fish and chips were slimy on the inside and soggy on the out side. The steak nachos were nothing but corn chips, cheese, and overcooked steak cut into very long strips served with a side of jarred salsa. Boring. Once my girlfriend ordered the stuffed burger and looked and tasted like a hockey puck. I couldn't believe the actually served it. They also take the cake for the worst philly cheese steak iv ever been served. It was basically steak-ems on a hotdog bun. It was put together so poorly that it stopped me from ever coming here again. I also noticed that everytime we came here there would be the same guy sitting at the bar getting hammered. He would blabber on to the bartenders incoherently and stumble back and forth from kitchen to bar. After checking out the website it turned out he worked there and looked like he might be the head "chef". We had the same server everytime we went there and he was the one bright spot in this place.

I met a customer here. We looking for an out of place and this is place a little more. It has both inside and outside sitting. Inside is pretty large, with a long bar and 35-40 tables. We just had a bucket of beers and some appetizers. The wait staff was friendly, the place wasn't that busy, so we got to spend a couple of minutes talking to her. She recommend the nacho's and the duck tenderloins, We went with the nachos and chicken tenders. Both were good, but the nachos were better and they do them right, with real cheese and grilled meat. The menu look pretty good, a couple of pages, dominated by sandwiches/burgers, but they also had entrees. The beer selection was good, on tap and in bottle. We got a bucket, and they split between two different brands - which was nice and not that typical. The music was good and not too loud for a bar that is quarter full. So I would come back, its not a big chain place, with a local flare.

The fish and chips are wonderful. Unfortunately the coleslaw that is served at the Sportsmans is made with blue cheese. I guess that's great if you like blue cheese. Personally I don't. I would appreciate a choice. The McSorleys beer on tap is very good too.

Great burger. Tonight was a bit confusing. We stopped in for a burger and checked in with Yelp and Facebook. As soon as I let Yelp know where I was an offer for 50% off the second meal showed up on my screen. I showed it to the bartender and she acknowledged it. When we finished our meal she brought me my tab and I noticed that I had not received the discount. She basically blamed me saying I needed to bring the coupon up again in my phone. I complied and she took my phone and did something to the coupon(?). She then said that she would have to void the tab and give me another. I'm not sure if there is a difference between voiding a transaction and issuing a credit but both charges are still on my card. The bottom line is that she made me feel as though I had done something wrong and she didn't thank me for coming in or even invite me back. I realize anyone can have a bad day but this was a bad visit for me.

We went on a Friday night, so it was busy. It was a bit confusing when we walked in because there was a crowd of people who appeared to be waiting for tables, but there was no host station or person who seemed to be taking names. After standing there for 5-10 minutes, someone who worked there showed up and started writing down everyone's names and seating people as needed. We ordered the pizza because lots of other people had it and it looked good. It was good, but really greasy. The place is decorated nicely and very clean. They have a patio that looks really nice, so I'd like to go back on a warm day when we could sit out there.

Food wasn't good at all... Got our bill... Told the waitress we were going to meet friends and had to leave... Went outside and tossed the left overs... Ick!

The food is nothing more than the run of the mill type bar food with some pasta's (which are typically drowned in sauce) and a steak or two on the menu. It's a sandwich, pizza, burger kind of place with a bar. However, that said, they have the most amazing breadsticks with garlic cheese dip ever. I believe they serve Alibi pizza... and when they don't drown the pasta that I like with the artichokes and chicken, it's darn good. The service is average, price for the type of food average, decor average. The new outdoor seating area looks nice but I mostly see folks out there smoking vs. eating. The cool thing about this place is it reminds my husband of the show "Cheers" - it's the place everybody goes to - and you usually see someone you know!

This place is just great. You can't beat $5 burger, fries, and beer. The dinner menu is great and the prices are cheaper then you would normally find at Applebee's, plus better food quality. The Sportsmen's always has something going on. Stop by and give them a try.

Went for burger and a beer which used to be the best deal in town for 5$. Now if you want the burger deal you have to sit at the bar. No thanks. So, ordered a burger and a beer at a table with our group of 5. Beer was warm. Burger bun was soggy, had to ask for another bun so that I could actually pick the burger up to eat it. Not sure what has happened to the burger but it tasted old. too bad. this used to be a great new find right after the smoking ban.

Went early on a Friday, 6:30, and just beat the crowd. Service was excellent. I had the meat lover's pizza and a 1/2 order of the onion brick. Both were very good. The ham on the pizza could be cut smaller. My wife ordered off the Oktoberfest specials menu, which was very impressive and a reason we will be going back. She had the Wiener schnitzel and it was delicious. We found the pricing to be very reasonable. Our server was very attentive and Tom the manager stopped by to make sure everything was good. He even came back as we were leaving and boxed up our take home, which was a lot. The dining room and bathroom were very clean and the rustic decor made us feel like we were up north. This was our first visit and we will be going back.

The Sportsmen's is fantastic! Everybody who works there is super friendly and always happy to see whoever comes in, and the food is delicious. Their pizzas are made exactly how you ask, and their burgers are pretty spectacular too. Give this place a try, and you might find yourself frequently coming back for more.
