Great food at great prices. I wanted to eat something light, and I remembered Seros always has good soup. I ordered a bowl of Beef Barley and it was delicious. As usual, the bread and crackers basket accompanied my meal. Milvet discount with ID on meal purchases over $7 (excluding specials & senior meals)

The Denver omelette taste like cardboard and the cheese was like a gummy bear in the center Made w bacon bits prolly from yesterday and even tho they weren't busy - you have to pour your own coffee refill

My toast was the best thing about my meal, the service was good though it needs a bit of work done to keep up with the day and age.

Tired needs new owners. I keep giving them the chance to be a good local family restaurant but, reheated baked chicken and lumppy gravy.

I'm not sure what happened to this place. I remember it being pretty good when I was a kid. Maybe my taste buds are just more sophisticated now. My eggs were bland, the hash browns were extremely greasy. Overall the food had no taste. The waitress was friendly but a little absent minded. I'm guessing they cater to the older crowd so the less flavor the better.

Before the owner sold out, this was a good place to eat. After she sold, forget about it. I use to eat there 4 times a week until one day, new owners. I ordered my typical Fisherman's platter, and added extra clams because I will not eat the smelt. It comes to the table and there are less clams then the regular order would have been if I kept the smelt. I send it back with a word about the shortness in my order. The owner stands at the counter glaring at me, then the second owner comes out of the kitchen and stands next to him doing the same thing. Well, I am an Army Vet. and I stand 5'11" and go 270lbs. of solid mass. I do not get intimidated. I had just about enough of this stare down and say, "What? DO you need to say something to me?" They both jump from behind the counter and come towards me, until I stand up! They stop dead in their tracks and start yelling at me. Now using your customers as human shields might work in other countries but not here. My Girlfriend grabs my arm and says "let's just get out of this hole." So we pay for the apps and her food and the babies food and leave. Next thing I know they both come outside and start harassing us as I am carrying the baby in my arms. One owner bumps into me violently while I have the baby, and the other races around the car to get the plate #. I had no chance to respond, the Chesterfield police pull up that quick. They called the cops on an unsatisfied customer. The cops jump out, tell the two owners to back off. Talk to me and my girlfriend and find out what is going on. Then the cop says "The owners called us out saying you were unruly and dangerous." I laughed and said "No, I was unhappy and they tried to intimidate me." He laughed and said, "Good luck with that one, you scare me!" so the owners looked stupid, and the cops told them to go back into their place and told us to have a nice day. Funny thing, the owners started to kiss our butt once they realized the cops didn't have their back. "So sorry, we are just so sorry, we hope you come back." Ha, not on your life!!! This place is a mess!!! New décor may make some feel all warm and fuzzy, but this place is a nightmare. Stay far, far away from here if you care about your safety and your stomach!

I thought it was alright.... a client took me here when we had a meeting and I had a gyro and fries and it was pretty good. Interior is kind of dated but its a seros, so what are you gonna do? Nothing special, nothing too fancy, service was terrific....solid lunch....can't complain. My client loved his clams.

Ordered hash browns well done & crunchy. Came back runny and sent them back and was returned in same condition. Was told it was the best the cook could do. Also the omelet by this time was cold. Cost 21 dollars for breakfast of two people. Will go up street in future. No more eating there. Waitress was good, but that was all that was good. Lived near there 30 plus years and the quality is now gone, not like it was in the past.

This restaurant was the best in the area for 30 years but the previous owners retired and moved to Greece so it's been going downhill in the past year in quality, value, and management. You can see that their parking lot is pretty empty compared to what it used to be so I believe that the locals have moved on down the street.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and years and years, even through the various owners. I am not sure if the restaurant has a new owner or a new manager because I know that the previous owner died a car accident while on a trip out of state. Anyway, the food yesterday was totally awful. I had to send the french fries back because they were practically raw inside. The broiled cod was next to tasteless - I had to put a lot of pepper on it to even eat it. I don't like tartar sauce and I wasn't even given a piece of lemon to make the fish taste better. I would've sent that back too, but since me and the other person that was with me didn't even receive our food at the same time (it was only 2 people) I didn't want to wait for another 15 minutes for a different meal. There had already been a long wait and some people walked out the door without eating because they had been waiting 45 minutes. The food is not that great to wait at all. I have already learned to not eat the beef stew special there, the beef tips and noodles and (if I decide to go back) to not order the broiled fish either. Pretty soon, there won't be anything on the menu that I would even like to eat. Not sure if I will go back. I have now given this new owner/manager at least 5 chances to get the food right and it still isn't. Will have to continue to drive down Hall Road to get decent meals (or some other town).

I have been eating at this place for over 40 yrs. Seen owners come and go but the food was always the same. Good hot and plenty. Stopped in yesterday for lunch (was reluctant because the last two times I was disappointed with the quality of the food. And served cold.) Sorry I made that discussion. Ordered the veal Parma lunch special. When they brought it out I took one bite and know the sauce was spoiled, sour sicken taste. Told waitress and the cook agreed, scary thought the cook didn't know. I can no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I had noticed they no longer had the customers they had in the past. Now I know why. Sorry to lose this place to eat, but you would be wasting your money, and risking your health. Good bye for good Seros. Had to give a star rating to post. But this place is minus 5 stars!!!

Sadly I will not be going back to Sero's . For the past 20+ years Sero's has been my go to lunch place . This is the second time I have been there this fall. The salad dressing was runny, the lemon rice soup runny and tasteless Is there a new owner trying to save money or have u lost the recipes what happened to the lemon rice soup that was like pudding

Good service and everything came out as ordered. Everything was well prepared and fresh. Prices were very low (3 egg spinach, feta, tomato, mushroom omelette for under $6). I do hate when a restaurant serves only iceberg lettuce for their salads. That is my first choice but I want a salad with some healthy greens! My brother had a salad with grilled chicken on it. Again, fresh and well prepared and low priced, but a big bowl of iceberg with a few onion slices on it and a few veggie slices and a pile of grilled chicken. My niece had a dish of ice cream and it was this little tiny dish and they didn't have any toppings. So we might be back but might also try somewhere else next time we are in the area.

My dad and I always use to go here, at least once or twice a week. We would always get the fish and chips. I went back for lunch, and ordered what was my usual, the fish and chips; to my unfortunate surprise, this place has significantly changed over the years. The service is poor. Waitstaff ignored us throughout the entire meal. No refills were offered on our drinks. No checking in to make sure everything was ok. The lady took our order, dropped off our food, and showed up to hand off the bill. The place wasn't that busy, so we were wondering what was more important that attending to us. After browsing over the restaurant, we found all the waitstaff chit chatting in the corner with their backs to us. The fish and chips that we ordered were disgusting (and that's as nice as I can be). Do not order the fish and chips! It's obviously bought at a store and thrown in the freezer for who knows how long. Once ordered, the "cooks" fry the hell out of it. They're mush, and just plain bad. Tartar sauce is also pretty bad; my guess is that it is the cheapest the owners could find. Chips were actually french fries (chips are like french fries but they are a larger and thicker cut of fried potato), but most places do this, so not a big deal. However, they were also bought and frozen, and tasted like school cafeteria fries (think cardboard). Fresh food would be nice. It's because of restaurants like Sero's Restaurant that make me hesitant in trying family diners. If you're like me, trust your instinct and stay away!

used to loving coming here, but the last couple of times the food hasn't been as tasty or my order was messed up. not sure if they have a new cook or what...?

Went here for lunch today. My girlfriend ordered a turkey club. It came to the table and not only was it chicken, the toast was burnt so bad I can't believe they even sent it to the table. Instead of sending it back, she pushed it around the plate and picked at. So I ended up paying for a sandwich no one ate. I personally would have walked it back into the kitchen and threw it at the "cook". Terrible food and even worse service by some old windbag that was rude as Hell. Stear clear of this dump

Nice family restaurant/diner. If you're looking for value, this is where its at. You get a soup, salad, entree, and desert all for under $10. And its all pretty darn good. I love their chicken lemon rice soup. It's one of the best I've ever had, though, admittedly, have not had the opportunity to try too many of them. Maybe it was because it was the first time I tried the soup and I just... fell in love. The salad was very fresh and my entree was tasty (fried clam strips). Desert was also tasty and another first for me - spumoni, which is an ice cream swirled with chocolate, pistachio, and strawberry. All in all, a good meal for a great price.

I love this place. I've been coming to this location on and off for about 20yrs and have never been disappointed. They have the best lemon rice soup around and the service is always lightning fast.
