Love their food. My husband loves their shrimp egg foo Yong and the shrimp fried rice is excellent. The food is hot and fresh. This is our spot for Chinese food.

We haven't been here in a while and I don't think I will be coming back. The tea tastes burnt, the chicken lo me is different than what I remembered. Even the won ton tasted funky. Food prices seemed to be high for the quality which was poor. Definitely not Channel 4's best anymore.

All I had was the sweet and sour pork. I have to say it is the best I've ever had. Service pleasing and on the ball. Atmosphere, well the food was off the charts!

My boyfriend I dined in this afternoon since he rarely ever craves Chinese food. For 3pm, the place was pretty packed! Every booth was occupied. Decor is a little dated with pink tables and flowers on the wall. I was really digging the classic rock radio station. Not what I was expecting at a Chinese restaurant but it made me wanna dance! Service was a bit slow. Only one waitress for the restaurant. Cheryl, one of the carryout gals, helped get everyones soups, egg rolls and drinks. My boyfriend and I split the double combination plate for $16 that comes with an egg roll, choice of soup, bread, two entrees and rice. We chose sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken. He ate the lukewarm Wonton Soup while I tried enjoyed the overcooked egg roll. Lots of bean sprouts in the egg roll. For whatever reason we were full after a few bites of our entrees. They were much better than the starters though and were scorching hot and full of sauce and flavor. Not overcooked at all. Double combination plate can easily feed a family of four. Lots of leftovers. Perhaps they could hire more wait staff, update the decor, make food consistantly and make the menu smaller, after all theres ONLY six pages to it. Food as definitely changed over the years. Doesn't taste as great as it used to. Parking lot needs to be redone.

They boast awards for being "top 100" Chinese joint. Their food is mediocre in quality and taste. Wait times and order accuracy are equally bad. If you want to eat quality Chinese, then you better head to Leong's on 23!

I went back for God only knows what reason (laziness to be honest-it's the closest Asian place around). Not only did the young girl on the phone know exactly dick about the menu, but when I arrived 5 minutes AFTER the time they gave me I was forced to watch the owner belching her dinner away in a booth right behind the pick-up window while waiting an additional 10 mins. Thoroughly disgusting. I wouldn't go back now if everything was comped or even if it were the zombie apocalypse and this was the last food on earth.

First of all. I love the pink booths, tables and chairs. Holy moly! We were seated immediately but there was a decent amount of people there. It's a little pricey compared to other Chinese places I frequent but the portions are generous. I had the hot n sour soup, it was jelly-like and really light on the sour. Skip it. The egg roll was ok, lots of bean sprouts! The plum sauce was very good! I had the cashew beef. The beef pieces were tasty. The sauce was pretty good too. The waitress was very nice and attentive.

I love this place. The best Chinese food I have ever had. You won't leave hungry. They give you a lot of food. Great value on price also.

Red flag #1: This place has loads of self-promotional banners outside and within claiming they are voted "Best Chinese Restaurant" from various media sources. Lies, lies, lies. Red flag #2: No help. One server working the whole place and providing scattershot service. Want a water refill...you ain't gonna get it. My spoon was bent with a chunk taken out of it...it took 15" to get a new one. Red flag #3: Chicken used in dishes is not real home-cut chunk style but pre-frozen tasteless flat rubber strips made in some corporate factory. Sauces are MSG ridden pools of starchy whites, browns and bright oranges. Blah, blah, blah nothing unique...same old marginal Chinese that is served everywhere. Don't get excited over the stale yeast rolls either. Plus the egg drop soup was cold. There is nothing worse than cold egg drop soup. Want a hot bowl? See Red Flag #2. They have a Thai menu except it is not real Thai food. It is Thai noodles served with the same Chinese starchy brown sauces and Chinese vegetables with a lime quarter on the plate edge. Avoid the hype, the food here is marginal at best. Better to avoid altogether.

Let's start with the decor, or over abundance of, since the first thing we saw when we walked through the door was giant plants in the middle of the tables. The place has very very old, tacky decor from maybe the late 80s, early 90s with an awful pink color everywhere! The place is a mess. There are multiple tables that haven't been cleaned off the entire time we've been here. There are only two, very inexperienced servers on the floor who know nothing about the menu when asked. The place is clearly understaffed. The server we have has apologized a few times for the long wait for the food & service, yet they keep seating people. I just watched one customer get up to grab extra napkins. I watched one server clean off a table with a rag that had been sitting on a counter top for a while. It's not like it was in a cleaning solution. The server doesn't know what I ordered. He just brought me the wrong food. I can see other people sending the wrong food back also. This is a shit show! They are only bringing out partial orders for each table. We are still staring at a dirty ass table. The floor is trashed. It feels gross in here, like an old diner with sticky table tops. We've been waiting for at least 20-30 minutes so far and no food yet. This is probably the worst dining experience I've had at any restaurant EVER! An this place was voted the best?!?!? How? After waiting for 45 minutes or so for the food now, the kid (aka the server) just came back to the table dropped off my food, which wasn't made the way I ordered it and asked my friend what he ordered. My friend asked, "Are you serious?" I knew it was time to leave. We won't be back!

I used to like their food-a few years ago. The place is a dump, the service is shabby. I ordered almond boneless chicken, and it wasn't cooked. It was still raw inside. I vowed to never eat there again. Recently, I've been layed up after surgery, and it was brought to me. So I tried it again, only this time I had sesame chicken. Over cooked and dry. Sad. Very sad.

I liked the sesame chicken enough that I wanted to get Leong's again for take out. This time, I got lemon chicken with fried rice, an egg roll, and chicken rice soup (hot and sour was having some unfortunate issues...). The lemon chicken is cut and breaded the same way that almond chicken is, and the sauce is on the side to add at your leisure ... I got a huge ass serving of the lemon pie looking filling. I actually kind of liked it. Some bitterness from the lemon peel, but plenty of sweetness (could PROBABLY be used as a good alternative for glue). The breading on the chicken was pretty light, but crispy, and the meat was all white without any funky bits. The fried rice was way better than the white was when I had it, and had a nice flavor. The soup I didn't care for at all... it was just too simple. The broth wasn't bad and the rice was... rice, but the freakin' chicken looked like tofu -- it had the same texture as well. Maybe it WAS tofu? Beats me. It tasted like cafeteria chicken though. OTHER THAN THAT, another good meal. Leong's is pretty good... I just need to try their hot and sour soup soon. Dammit.

This was the worst Chinese food we have had in a long time. Tasteless. Leong's on 23 mile is the best. They are not related.

We ordered carry out and were very disappointed. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was bland as was the Szechuan Chicken. Both dishes lacked spice and seasoning and were drowning in a sea of sauce. None of the vegetables or meat had any distinguishable flavor. The Crab Rangoons were lacking in flavor as well. We would have been better off buying La Choy from the store.

Tried for the first time and very happy with the food and value. The cashew beef had extremely tender meat and crisp/crunchy vegetables. Very generous portions! All of my co-workers were full after 1/2 of their meals. The hot and sour had a good bite and flavor. Egg rolls were pretty standard, but the rest was good.

Very large portions for such a low price. Also the quality was good as well. Very quick pick up service.

No wonder this is rated one of the Top 100 Chinese restaurants. MMMMMmm so good in the old school (round eye) style of Chinese. Sweet n Sour just like you grew up with but much better flavor and big chunks of chicken and not overly breaded. The lo-mein in the combo plate was enough for 2 large adults and then there was still some leftover. This was all in a combo that was included fried rice, egg roll (yummy) and some of the best wonton soup I've had. Lots of scallions and spinach and a broth that has color and tons of flavor. I'll definitely drive the 10 extra miles next time i have the chinese urge.

Old fried rice, mushy veggies. They really milk their top 100 list. There are multiple signs outside but trust me it is not what it use to be. The fried rice looked and tasted like it was from yesterday. No veggies in rice. They didn't even ask if I wanted fried or white. Egg roll was old tasting. The beef and broccoli was 400 degrees and the veggies were over cooked. The presentation was awful. Keep driving you can find better.

I'm really picky about the places I eat Chinese at. This one does pass my test, but it does not exceed it by much. Typical style of large portions for a good price. The rice is always a bit dry and bland, as with the crunchy noodles to put in soup. Anything that is breaded is REALLY REALLY breaded, to the point that I peel half of it off before eating Almond, Sesame, or General Tsao's. The biggest thing against this place is the service. I think there's been one time where the service was passable (we're not picky about our service either!) Such as me sitting with an empty glass for 10-15 minutes where the owner (or manager, he's always there) is either flirting with the waitress, or being really rude and barking orders at them. The waitresses also talk to the other staff very loudly about how much they want to go home, complain about their personal issues, etc. One time we were sitting by the station where they refill drinks, and the waitress was yelling over our table to the front counter, talking about things to the point we couldn't carry a conversation. Case in point, if you're not picky about your food. Get carry out from here.

Leong's almond boneless chicken has ruined all other almond boneless chicken for me. The portions are huge and the meals come with soup, these awesome rolls, and an egg roll. The wonton soup is very good, too.

Yum. This has received the top 100 restaurants award. A lot to choose from, Never leave hungry, however t is chinese food so take home your leftovers (unless you split dishes, you will have leftovers) so you can eat again when you get hungry. Great Chinese food. It is not related to the one in Chesterfield on 23 or the one in Richmond. Give it a whirl!
