$30ish got a small, three topping Chicago-style pizza, a side of fried mushrooms, and mostaccioli. The Chicago-style pizza is good, but not good enough to make you think it's some sort of misplaced Chicago location in Michigan. The main reason I say that is because the cheese isn't quite melted in it. The cheese was only partially melted through the entire pizza, which was disappointing. There were plenty of toppings -- er, fillings -- though, so that made up for it a bit. The fried mushrooms, as I anticipated, were previously frozen (I'm pretty certain), and the ranch they have here is the jiggly, artificial, mass-produced ranch you get at the store. Eh. It's enjoyable, and I'll likely go back when I want a Chicago-style pizza -- just don't expect to be blown away, unless it's your first experience with the style. I will add though that the Chicago-style here is almost as good as Pizzapapalis' version, but (for me) 30 miles closer. Very good pizza at a pretty fair price, and it's always great to support local business... ...SO SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS!

Father & Son Pizzeria is not in my path or rotation of regular pizza joints, BUT when I find myself over that way it sure will be. I was at a L'Anse Creuse, athletic fundraiser on Saturday 2-28, and they were one of the 24+ vendors that donated Pizza & Broasted Chicken Oh My Goodness As many places will say they sell a CHICAGO style, most do NOT even come close. 1. some just throw mountains or extra cheese-sauce on a pie & call it a Chicago However, Dave the owner has matched the taste-style-quality of one of my favorites Lou Malnati's Pizza As I sampled 2 pieces of his pepperoni & sausage Chicago. Truly he has. Broasted Chicken Many try, some come close, the broasted chicken he provided Saturday was of good Quality I was also impressed as being a fundraiser with 300+ in the room, he could have easily donated a more economical entry level round or square BUT Dave I believe wanted to showcase his BEST which he did on the Chicago & the broasted . In closing after the event I went to check out the details on his web site 2 things really stood out He has been selling pizza at that location since 1983! And catch this, money back guarantee on his products. So what have you got to lose...?

I'm a huge fan of Chicago-style pizza, as I've been to Chicago several times and have tried a lot of places. Father & Son gets it right and makes me feel like I'm in Chicago again (even if only for a brief moment). Great pizza and great service!

The best pizza in Macomb County. Ask for extra sauce and the spicy little pepperoni. Really great flavor. If your really hungry get the Chicago style. I dare you to eat more than piece. And if your having a party get the broasted chicken. Best chicken in the area. I've been a good customer for over 30 years!

Hands down the best pizza place in town. I would never even consider getting pizza from anywhere else. If you are a fan of supreme pizza's The Big Shooter is top notch.

The Broasted Chicken was amazing. The deep dish pizza was ok, but I wasn't a big fan of the sauce, it was too acidic for me. The cannoli was good but a little too sweet for my taste, would probably order the almond next time. The ribs were delicious. Ribs and Chicken were by far my favorites.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
