Good service and pretty good food. There were a few things that didn't sit right with me, but overall, I've had relatively good experiences at Amore's. My biggest complaint is that they use taco meat on dishes that simply say "ground beef," and I find that off-putting. I ordered their potato skins with ground beef one evening, and I was disappointed they were covered in heavily seasoned, chili-flavored meat. It was very unexpected and unpleasant.

My boyfriend and I had an hour to kill before he had to go to work so we decided why not grab some early dinner! Going to Amore's Grill & Spirits was a great decision! We were welcomed and greeted by a wonderful blonde, looked as though she was one of the managers, who sat as at a booth near the window and also got our drink order. The waiter, Eric, brought us our drink's immediately. We both ordered the root beer to drink. We were pleasantly surprised it was Henry Weinards bottled root beer. It's nice to know I can get that root beer some other place besides the local Meijer. Kudos to Amore's for serving it in a frosted mug. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Pita- light lettuce, no tomato and side of Tzatziki sauce (I know i'm such a pain!) My meal came with homemade chips. Delicious! My pita was made perfectly. I like that the cheese is melted in between the chicken so you get the flavor on every bite. The chips were pretty good surprisingly. They tasted even better dipped in homemade ranch! They certainly don't cheat you on chips or chicken on the pitas! My boyfriend ordered the Cajun Shrimp pasta bowl. So plentiful! It came in a huge bowl topped with red peppers, green peppers, onions, tomatoes, parmesan cheese and a bunch of tiger shrimp seasoned in cajun seasoning. Definitely had a nice kick to it. Also came with homemade garlic bread and cole slaw (Soup or salad if you prefer) We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. This place is a hidden gem. Staff was super friendly and came and checked on us multiple times. Very clean restaurant. Daily specials each and every day. Great place to watch sports games in the bar section- lots of TV's. Our waiter mentioned they have coupons on their website and also in the weekly ads you get in the mail. Also they have a rewards card where you earn 10% back on each visit. I'll definitely be returning!

I met a buddy here for lunch on a Sunday. He had a chicken sandwich and I had a cajun shrimp pasta bowl of some sort (sorry, my memory fades ...) Both meals were excellent, the service was outstanding, and I will return!!

This place was A-OK... We had good eats I guess... I was a tad confused at first...it says Grill and Spirits....and it appears to be a family style restaurant when you first walk in, but there is a bar in there I guess. My parents just moved to this area, and they already love this place, so I can see me heading back. By looking at what was being ordered around me, the food looked pretty decent. I ordered a chicken breast salad, which was pretty good... The service was okay too...the one thing I hate is an absent server, who then asks you, as she's removing your empty plate from the table, if you now want a refill on your drink..."No, but five minutes ago I would have" :-/ .....thanks server girllllll.... If you like the family style bar feel...you got a winner in Amores!

Good potato skins and sliders. Service was slightly lacking. Seeing as I was the only person at the bar. The bartender maybe needs to loosen up, and not be such a snob. Communication you could tell was completely lacking all over the restaurant, as I got carded two times. I'll also have to add that I waited five to ten minutes before being helped at all. The place was rather slow, and they had already four waitresses on. Hire better staff and maybe you'll get better reviews. Shouts out to the boys in the back for not fking up my food. I have to remove several stars as the service was more than horrid. Bartender = idiot.

We have only been here twice for breakfast. I don't think we will be beck again. I'm a big breakfast eater and my husband loves keno so we thought we would give this place a second try. Our waitress never smiled and seemed bothered we were there. We are pretty easy to wait on. ( I'm a server) the busser was a sweet kid that smiled and came to our table more than the server....the breakfast was only okay, surely not the best or even close to the best......I gave 4 stars just because we've never had lunch or dinner here, so maybe the food is better. If you love breakfast I don't recommend this place.

the food and service was awful. I had the fish and chips. when it got to the table the inside of the fish was freezing cold and tasted like freezer burn. Waited 15min for someone to come to our table to try and fix it. first and last time i will go there.

Not a bad place to go. It was a quiet and relaxing place from my friend and I to talk. Don't order the chips and salsa appetizer. They are store bought and you can get better at the local Meijer. However, their Chicken Cesar Wrap was good. It was lightly dressed (possibly could have more but I didn't mind it) and the chicken was moist and delicious. It came with homemade chips that were wonderful. Be warned that the water/tea come in a very small glass but they had free refills. We had a good waitress and the hostess was fabulous. I would definitely go back.

Hadn't been here in a while and now have eaten here twice recently. Both good experiences. Pleasant, prompt, and professional wait staff. Good advice on food choices. Reasonable prices and the chicken pot pie soup is wort writing home about. I'm impressed and I don't impress easily.

It's really more of a 3.5ish. Here comes a longer-than-it-should-be review. I got takeout and decided to get the smokehouse burger and the chicken pot pie soup. I uploaded a picture, so take a look if you're curious to see what it looks like (it looks a LOT bigger than the picture suggests). The smokehouse burger with fries and a pickle spear is $10.59 and described by the site as, "1/2 pound burger, topped with our in house smoked pulled pork, sautéed red onions, bacon & melted cheddar cheese, Served on an Artisan roll." The chicken pot pie soup I've had before, and is $4.29 for ONE CUP. It's definitely pretty freakishly expensive for a single cup of soup, but I guess that's the price you pay for a home made soup. The burger was, as I thought it would be, decent. For the price, it's about what you'd expect to pay. The burger itself, like the last couple times I've had it, seemed to have really no seasoning at all. Additionally, I wanted it cooked medium, but it appeared to be well-done. On the plus side, it wasn't dry at all, and was surprisingly juicy. The pulled pork was just alright. The pork seemed to be overcooked almost to mush, and there were four bites in my burger where I got a chunk of cartilage from the pork. I know it's pretty much unavoidable to not get a piece in there, but that much? Quality control, please... the BBQ sauce wasn't horrible, but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. On the plus side, the bacon (which was actually really good) countered it nicely. I'd probably give the burger a C rating... big in size and tastes pretty good, but I wasn't welcoming those mouthfuls of cartilage. The fries were almost completely soggy from being in the box (it wasn't a long drive home, either... I should have probably poked holes in it), but tasted alright. The pickle spear was fine by me -- not too salty/briny. The chicken pot pie soup, despite the cost (that I didn't realize was so high in the past), is worth it. It's everything you'd expect it to be, and tasty every time. Amore's is pre' good given its location, but there are better places a little bit out of the way. If you want a BBQ sort of burger, try out Bad Brads -- it tastes better and for the same price and amount of food.

This is on of my favorite restaurants! The food is great. You get quality food. It is worth your money that you spend. I had an amazing bacon cheeseburger. It was the best burger I have had in a very long time. The soup was also delicious. I received a reasonable portion of food. My new favorite restaurant of the month!!! Very tasty food. Amores is on my recommendation list!!!

Food was decent, but the service was horrible. It wasn't busy when we were there, but we waited quite a long time for our bill. Waitress didn't come to check on us during meal. Booths were dirty.

This is a bit out of my local dining range, but was right on the way to our destination last night. I had a coupon for half off the second entree, so it worked for me and my friend to try a new place. We shared a breaded mushroom appetizer. They were obviously frozen, dumped from a bag to the deep fryer, mushrooms. Tasty enough, but nothing special. We both ordered the lake perch, pan fried. First came a nice size side salad, with tomatoes, cukes, onions and decent croutons. The serving size on the perch was generous enough, but the quality of the fish was lacking. It had a tasteless, bread crumb breading. Worse yet, the breading was burned on every piece. I had a couple of pieces that tasted "off". I suppose i could have sent it back, but we had a play to attend, so I opted not to. Service was attentive and they did a great job of refilling our iced tea and pop. I bumped the review up to 3 stars for the service, but the food was closer to 2 star quality. We shared the apple tart with ice cream for dessert. It was plenty large enough to share. It was quite tasty, and we thought it was a nice end to the meal. We had to ask for a knife to cut the tart, even though we said from the beginning that we intended to share the thing. The server quickly brought a knife and two small plates. Why don't servers do that automatically when they know it's a big dessert and it's being shared?

this was a so so experience all the way around. So so service followed by so so food. When I went they weren't very busy but they had a lot of staff standing around doing nothing. Maybe I caught them on an off day but I was not overly impressed.
