I have always liked Cottage Inn Pizza, since I ate at their first restaurant in downtown Ann Arbor in the early 1980s. The ingredients are always fresh and right off the truck. Cottage Inn has always been synonymous with providing their patrons with great tasting pizza that keeps bringing them back again and again. Carrying on this fine tradition is the Cottage Inn located in Chelsea, Michigan. Located on M-52 (S. Main Street), south of Middle Street on the west side in small white building, you can smell the aroma as you walk down the street. The staff that works there are very friendly and courteous. You can tell that the people who own this place are sticklers for cleanliness, as every time I have been in this place, its as clean as a whistle. Moreover, the pizzas they deliver are always very warm, like they just came out of the oven. Usually when I order a pizza when I have friends over watching TV or playing games, I like to order other items off their menu. Tomoko, my former girlfriend was a true vegetarian, but loved the salads from Cottage Inn. Personally, I like their Chicken Bites, when I don't want a full meal. Meanwhile, my long time friend Jon is very picky about how his Buffalo Wings are prepared. The cook at this Cottage Inn knows how to fix them the way he likes them: spicy! Finally, when I am not in the mood for a pizza, nothing hits the spot like a good submarine sandwich. I always try to eat healthier these days, and turkey is a good step in that direction. The staff at Cottage Inn on S. Main Street known how to make a great sub. I usually order their Turkey and Cheese sub, or maybe the less healthy Turkey Club Sub. However, when I am feeling a craving for some ham, then I will order their Ham and Cheese sub. Tomoko, however, always liked their Veggie subs and like me, would put Italian salad dressing on our subs to give them an extra kick. If you live in Chelsea or passing through, stop in and give this place a try, and believe me your stomach will be happy that you did. Sean and Karen the owners and their staff are very friendly, and will make sure that your order is made how you want it.

BEST pizza in Chelsea. It is so good! I love their gourmet pizzas my friend and I get delivery all the time. We usually order the Bacon Cheddar Burger pizza with Everything Crust (no extra cost for flavored crust!) or we order the Ranch Taco pizza. So yummy! Not extremely greasy either. I have always preferred this pizza place other than the rest in Chelsea. Every time I get delivery the staff is always really kind to me, even for carry out. I love how I can order online, I find that really helpful. Ordering on the phone is also easy! I prefer the online ordering though, so you know how much you have to pay for tax right away it's so easy! Thanks Cottage Inn for your business in Chelsea!

Okay, so this is Cottage Inn and not some artisanal pizza maker... I get that. But still, we just walked out with some limp, undercooked, doughy, tasteless pizza. Yuck! the Pizza Hut at North Lake Country Store, Jets, Thompsons, and Inverness Inn are all WAY better options. Never again for the Cottage Inn.

Used a Restaurant.com certificate to order dinner on a Monday night. Oh thank goodness for easy pizza on a weeknight! It wasn't hard to come up with a $35 order. I place the order to go. It took about 20 minutes, everything was done right and the people there were really patient with me and my questions. The best part was my special order pizza. Highly recommended! Spinach Alfredo, sub tomatoes for pineapple. Mushrooms, spinach, pineapple, alfredo and on a butter garlic crust. Oh this pizza was heaven!!! The guys like the BBQ Chicken pizza and loved the deep dish I got them. Also ordered a large greek salad and it feed the 4 of us just fine.
Disappointing. My daughter received a coupon for a free Nino as part of the library's summer reading program and was disappointed to learn that there's no gluten-free option. Although they make gluten-free pizza, they are more expensive than a Nino and the store manager wouldn't give the value of a Nino toward one. Boo!

Best pizza in Chelsea, hands down. Friendly service, quick delivery. We go there every time we are in town.
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We grew accustomed to ordering from them over winter, but delivery took so long (despite their estimates) that we finally got fed up waiting 1.5 hours for a screwed up order (they routinely forgot our sodas and never once actually prepared my sandwich with the extra tomatoes and cheese I always asked for) from less than 3 miles away. Enough time had passed since our last bad experience, and we were desperate enough, that we ordered from them again last night. What a mistake. I will never order from them again. I placed the order online at 8:30pm, received my email receipt, and settled in for the estimated 45 minute delivery time. It got to be 10pm and we hadn't gotten a delivery, so my fiancé called them to find out when we could expect our order. He was told (1) they were closed and (2) they never received our order from the online system. He asked for a refund to our credit card, which was charged, but was told that since they had no record of the order they could not refund us. He then tried to negotiate to have the order delivered the next day and was told that they would just cancel our original order and we should place the order again (huh?!). Confused, we resolved to just go into the store personally and show them the email receipt and work it out at that time... And had crappy frozen food for dinner at 11pm. This morning, to our amazement and utter disgust, we found the order had been unceremoniously dumped in our garage. No one knocked, no bell was rang, and there was absolutely no reason for them to do this given that they had my cell phone # and could have called to let me know they were at the door. But they didn't come to the door... I have two dogs and they go bat poop crazy when anyone goes on our porch to the front door. They did not even prick their ears once. The delivery person did not bother to ring the bell or knock on the door and just threw our order in the garage and took off. I have never been so angry at a pizza joint in my life. To add financial injury to insult, we paid $40 for a medium pizza, a gf sandwich, and a 2 liter bottle of coke (that's a ridiculous price); and I stupidly included a $5 tip on the order! NEVER AGAIN will we order from them.
