I have to be honest this place's food used to be hit or miss but things have improved in that regard and the bar area has always been awesome. Great place to watch a hockey game live or another game on tv. Best sports bar in Chelsea. The bar overlooks two hockey rinks. Service has improved recently as well.

AH snap! Best sports bar in Chelsea. Most of the patrons are lining the walls, watching the hockey games down below. You can see each of the arenas from this bar, perched on top of the Artic Colesium. I had to indulge in my favorite shrimp alfredo fetticini - add mushrooms and spinach, on this visit. This alfredo dish is the best I have ever had, anywhere. Being so good, it can't be good for me, so I try not to visit too often. The firehouse wings are fabulous too. The service is usually hit or miss and on this visit, I think I offended the waitress but we don't know how. Maybe it was asking for more water. Oh well. She was attentive enough. We tipped well and both had great meals. Can't complain. Love it.

First off the bar area is awesome. If I was only rating the bar it would be 4 or 5 stars. It's the upstairs of an Ice Arena and on both sides of the bar you can literally look down and watch a hockey game if one is being played on one of the two rinks. There are big screens all over the place in there so it is a great place to watch a game. If a weekend hockey tournament is going on the place is packed with hockey moms and dads looking to mingle. It doesn't have much of a weekday lunch crowd though nor have I ever seen it extremely busy for a weekday happy hour but on the weekends or at night it's generally packed if something at the rink is going on. That being said the food here is really inconsistent. I have had decent food here but I've also had terrible food. I've never had great food here but the pizza is decent. They do have a large liquor and beer selection but the menu is not that creative and some of the selections that are no longer available have just had a piece of tape put over them rather than removing them or replacing them with something else. The food that is put out is nothing to write home about. I've had worse though.

Menu is the usual sandwich/salad/burger bar food. Average to poor quality, usually too salty, pricey for what you get. A good local place to watch the game, but kitchen needs help. A recent "Cuban Sandwich" was a slice of dried-out reheated roast pork, salami slices (!), and a slice of cheese and a pickle on a folded warmed pita!!! With a cup of thick sticky mayo served on the side. If you can't do the real thing, don't pretend. Have been going for several years with a group. Service has also declined in that time - waitstaff used to be well trained; now the waitstaff, while polite, often seems at a loss and just muddling through. They frequently forget to bring parts of orders (silverware! rolls with salad!), entrees for our table arrive at different times, get the drink list confused, don't know the daily specials, etc.

Food ranges from very good to ok. Service is usually poor to fair. Both food and service used to be very good several years ago.

Typical bar-and-grill fair. Good prices, good beer selection and a good view of the local hockey players kicking the crap out of each other.
