Yes only four beers on tap at a time but we really liked 3/4, and the atmosphere of the upstairs porch. We were there in a Friday and a live band played predictable covers quite well. Wish we'd tried this place earlier in our stay!

Good beer. Only 4 on tap which is good, keeps them fresh. We came here after a 2-dive day with northern Michigan dive shop doing a couple shipwrecks. The beer is cold and bright, very satisfying. For food, there is a "Cheboygan Chiefs" burger guy across the street if you want food. Otherwise, grab food from Mulligans then come here. Or if you are a fast food person, there is an Arby's and McD's too nearby.

I have been a few times now and this is a really fun spot. Great beers, and you get to see the inner workings. A lot of new breweries try to be super hip and cool, and this no-frills place just focuses on what you came for: great beer. The staff have always been really helpful and friendly and this is now a must on my annual trips up to Mullet Lake!

Now I admit that I am very particular and old school about my beer. No fruity flavors, dark, and not overly carbonated. I'm giving this place 3 stars because they try hard, their obviously in Michigan, and I want them to succeed, but I just did not like the beer. I'll take the blame, and I'll drink it if someone bought it, but I wouldn't make much of a drive to try it again, it's just not my style.

Limited options of beer. 4. No Food. Had to buy our beer then go upstairs to deck. Could have been really cool but no music upstairs. Also no employee said Thanks for Coming or even Bye when we left.

Outdoor atmosphere is nice; staff wasn't friendly. Seems like she's only there for a paycheck but wasn't knowledgable about the product. Not very welcoming to out of towners.

After being shutout twice in prior years, my wife and were making a specific point to stop by and try some local craft beer. Refer to my previous review of this place. It's Saturday of Memorial Day weekend which traditionally marks the opening of summer business in Northern Michigan. Guess what? CBC was closed again. They were open; just from 3-9pm. NINE PM! This is not a typo. So CBC, I give up. I'll go to Glens, Mickie's or Walmart and spend my money on some other Michigan beer.

If you are in Cheboygan, you should definitely go here. A beer flight is $7 and the 4 beers on tap were very good. The IPA and the blood orange wheat beer were notable. The free popcorn and rooftop deck are definitely worth a star.

Great place to stop for a brew on our way up to Mackinaw City (16 miles - 20 minute drive straight up US 23). Grab a growler to go ($10 refills)!!!

My GF is from this area in Mich and brought back a growler of their Amber brew after Thanksgiving 2011. I have not been to the brewery or the town, or even to that part of Michigan for that matter, but I will say that this beer is phenominal! The logo states "Est. 2011". If they only started this year then they hit a home run with the amber! Unbelievable depth, robust carmelly flavor, not over carbonated, and it just begs me to have one more. I hate to compare to other brands but to help you imagine the flavor think of Fat Tire on steroids. I have tried and tasted a lot of craft beers in my time and this one so surprised me with its maturity and quality that I just had to post a review to rave about it. If you're from the area and haven't tired this brew, you should be ashamed. If you're ever up that way you should definately stop in and try this stuff. I guarantee you'll be bringing some home as well. My GF says that there is almost nothing going on in Cheboygan, MI, but she was quite happy to find this hidden little gem and spend some time. The Cheboygan Brewing Company has a little gold mine going with this amber draft. I won't be surprised if it drives substantial fortunes for them in the future. Hey, you guys need a sales rep in Colorado?
