It's kind of dive-y here. The food is currently pretty good, they had some menu changes and added some really good food. I'd say you can never go wrong with getting pancakes here. You can ask to get real maple syrup, too.

If I could give less than one star for this review, I would. Worst breakfast ever. The ingredients were obviously the cheapest ever. Canned mushrooms for omlettes, frozen veggies, frozen hash browns. Nothing fresh. Everything flavorless. Worst coffee I've ever tasted.

3.5 service a little slow but good food and very reasonable

My overnight stay at Charlevoix ended with a lovely breakfast at this establishment. Waitresses were very friendly, prices were very reasonable, and I love that they have a rack of the locals' mugs hanging on a wall because they just come in and make themselves at home at this restaurant. It made me want to be a local, too! Before we came here, we left Juilleret's Restaurant after my fiance saw that the menu had a cup of joe for $3 and everything was ridiculously overpriced! Thank goodness we found this place that offered good food at realistic prices just down the street!

A very casual, no-frills, local restaurant. Stopped in for a quick lunch and was served promptly although the restaurant was busy. We both had sandwiches that we really enjoyed - would definitely eat here again.

Stopped in for a mid afternoon breakfast. I was looking for good pancakes and I found them. The eggs and sausage were cooked right and the pancakes were great. I added cherry topping and whipped cream. My waitress brought out real maple syrup too. It was a delicious meal. Kinda quiet on a holiday afternoon. A wonderful, friendly place to eat.

Will most likely never come here again. Being a local, I've been coming here most of my life for a relaxing mediocre breakfast but they've appeared to lowered their standards even further and completely ignored me long enough for me to feed my son his baby food lunch and still had no one even say "I'll be with you in a minute". Apparently they are too good for the money. Terrible terrible service and attitudes

Friday night fish fry....Awesome. And affordable. All you can eat. Service was average. Decor slightly below. But food made up for the mediocrity.

Went with my mom & my 3 kids. Mac & cheese was cold & stuck together...not to mention it was a 1/4 cup of Kraft Mac & cheese for $4.50. My moms toast was burnt, they forgot the bacon, & the fries seemed like they were recooked from the diner rush. Sign said free desert at the time we were there, but the waiter didn't mention it. We saw the sign on the way out.

Food was very good. The only place in town we found that serves breakfast to late risers. Quantities more than adequate. Older restaurant.... seemed clean.
