Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I have a colleague who raves about this place, so we will probably try it again, but my partner brought takeout home for dinner Friday night, and it was just so-so. We had a barbecue chicken pizza which was fine, but nothing too exciting. I would have preferred a true thin crust (nothing to hang onto on the edge) or a thicker crust. This seemed too in between and not great at either. The toppings were good, and I liked the amount of tangy sauce. We also had some hummus and flatbread, which I don't recommend. The texture of the bread was great, but its flavor was dull. The hummus was bland, too. We enjoyed the salad, which could have had more lettuce to fill it out, but the additions were flavorful, and the dressing was excellent.

I stopped at Tony Sacco's on a whim, not knowing anything about it. Pizza sounded good, and I didn't want boring generic pizza from a chain. I'd never heard of Tony Sacco's, but I was curious about how their coal oven pizza tasted. I didn't know that they had only been open a week, and you would never guess it because service was efficient and the staff was knowledgeable. My family shared a large BBQ pizza...and it was LARGE. It was easily 18" in diameter. The crust was thin, and edges were chewy (if slightly misshapen, but that was fine because they had prepared the dough by hand before firing it). The chicken was juicy, the sauce was tangy, and the pizza as a whole was satisfying. Everything on the menu looked good, but I think this will be my go-to pizza on their menu. Soft drink refills were never lacking, our server Alyse timed everything perfectly...when to take our order, when to check on our food, when to have the check ready. She was so sweet and personable, and if she wasn't on shift, I would have invited her to enjoy a slice with my family. Sign up for their birthday club to get a free pizza (and dessert) in your birthday month. On Thursdays, you can get a half-price pizza meal. I'm impressed, and I'll be back soon!

Came here yesterday with a large group and was not dissapointed! I had been to the Tony Sacco's in Ann Arbor and Howell and this location was just as great. First off, they have great happy hour specials on beer, wine, and appetizers (3-6 and 9-close). Thursdays also happen to be half off pizza night. Great deal! On Wednesdays, all wine is half off! Tony Sacco's pizza is offered in a variety of sizes and is a thin crust pizza. They have a variety of different toppings that can be added (even celery). They also offer appetizers, wraps, salads, chicken wings, and desesrts. Service was fantastic! The location is in the same shopping plaza as Kroger and a variety of other shops/offices. Parking is plentiful! I highly recommend!

Disappointed. Everything on this visit was less than impressive. Roltolis were cold and stale tasting and pizza was cold and not the quality we've had here before. Server was nice but hard to find and very soft spoken so hard to hear in the loud crowded restaurant.

I tried going to Tony Sacco's twice before it actually opened (lots of cars were there due to ongoing training), because I was so excited that a new restaurant was going in to that prime corner spot (at Canton Center and Ford Road, in Canton). Finally made it there with my mom and 9-yo kid on Tuesday (3/11/14) and we were really pleased. The greeters were very friendly, and responsive to my mom's request that we be seated in a booth instead of at a table. She sometimes has trouble hearing conversation in a noisy restaurant, and the booth helps with that. Thankfully, the overall noise level of the place wasn't too bad. We were greeted at our table by Jake. Super friendly, great sense of humor, attentive to water and tea refills - I'll ask for Jake next time I go in. My son was grumpy and I warned Jake about that - he in turn offered the kid some dough to play with. My son won't color, but he had a blast making all kinds of creations while waiting for his food. Mom and I got the house salad, which had tomatoes, black and green olives, a hard-boiled egg, some red onion, garbanzo beans, cukes and Italian dressing. We shared a half salad, and it was plenty. I'm pleased they offer half-salads as an alternative - the full salad must be huge. (They also offer a Caesar, Caprese, and an Anti-Pasto.) We followed that with the Greek pizza. The medium was more than enough for the two of us; I brought home two slices to enjoy the next day. The Greek was very flavorful, with banana peppers, feta cheese, roma tomatoes, green olives...I missed tomato sauce, though. It wasn't advertised as being made without sauce, but that's how it came out. The kid got a basic cheese pizza off the kids menu and enjoyed it a lot. Jake also made him a special 1/2 lemonade + 1/2 Sprite. I love flexible waiters! Another fun thing about Tony Sacco's is the open kitchen. We were encouraged to go watch as the guys stretched, tossed, sauced and topped various pies. The oven gets to 1000 degrees! The only thing we didn't love was the chocolate cake. It was dry and fairly flavorless. I complained about this to the manager when she stopped by, and suggested if they get enough complaints like mine, they might consider a change of recipe. She then took that off the bill (I was glad, as it cost $6.90). All in all, we'll definitely visit Tony Sacco's again. Thursdays are 1/2 price pizzas, and if you fill out a comment card you get free birthday pizza.

The inside is very clean and the pizza was amazing. We will be back!

Crappy pizza on Thursdays. It used to be food, but it was burned and less toppings, don't eat there!

Great food and great service. Portions are large and Thursdays are 1/2 off pizza. Will definitely be back soon.

We had a really nice experience yesterday evening. The pizza was good, and the service was excellent. The prices are high, so before you go just keep in mind that this isn't some cheap pizza that has been sitting in a warmer for hours, it is fresh and delicious. I will definitely go back.
(4)Christopher A.
Food is good. Service can be horrible. Wait staff seems to have a high turn over. I keep giving it a shot and every time we go back its new faces and the same crap service. I would suggest NOT taking kids because the service can be so bad and kids will get bored sitting at the table. Once again the food is good! I wish you luck if you try to eat here.

Love the thin crust pizzas and the variety of options on the menu. I've been here a few times and the service has always been decent, but admittedly, I have never been on 1/2 price nights or during the busy dinner hours. That said, the pizza is good. It could arrive at the table a bit hotter for my taste, but at least it doesn't show up bubbling and you have to wait 30 minutes before you can eat it. The roltolis I have had were hot and fresh, and I really like their antipasta salad. Good portion size for the price. They have had some updates to the way they prepare the pizzas, so if you like it loaded with cheese and pepperoni, order it "old school"....like they did it before the update.

Inconsistent at best. Slow friendly service, but management needs allot of help. Been here a dozen times at least--mostly on half-price Thursdays, and even at half-price, it's not worth the wait or the price. One day your pizza arrives in 15 minutes. Another day 45 minutes. Sometimes hot and crispy. Other times it's soggy and wet. Other times over cooked. It seems that they have a problem covering the entire pie with sauce or cheese as it is mostly dough. And flavor? What's that? We ask for no basil (they put it on every pie whether you ask for it or not) and even with our request, the pie comes covered with basil. What is so difficult about following simple directions. Last week it took 45 minutes to get our Pizza even at 9:45pm with a mostly empty dining room. When asked, we were told that they had a party that ordered 15 Pizzas, thus delaying our order. I want to eat, I don't want lame excuses. This is poor management all the way. Wait staff is mostly friendly, but seem to be standing around most of the time and only a couple are front and center or on the ball with drink refills or follow-up. A suspected manager makes some rounds (not lately) and asks how everything is, but even if you complain, doesn't do anything besides give you a half-hearted apology. I'd rather he not stop by, much less waste my time asking. Overall, they can do better, but at $16 for a large thin crust Pizza, you have to be better than what you're serving. At half-price, it's not even worth it. $6 for a half Caesar salad is outrageous, especially for the portion size. The garlic rolls are great--if you get a fresh batch. If you get them reheated, forget it. Won't be back here.

The pizza here is simply not restaurant quality. The sauce tastes exactly like grocery store Prego (throwback to broke college days), which is the cheapest processed "sauce" there is. There's just no way that the pizza sauce here is homemade in anyway. Plain tomato sauce out of the can tastes better than what was on this pizza! On top of this, the crust had no flavor and the toppings were just haphazardly dumped on top, they were not embedded in the cheese in any way. This made it nearly impossible to eat with you hands, so I had to use a fork and a knife. The price is reasonable, but the quality of food is not even worth getting a bargain.

I enjoy the brick oven pizza, all of these chain pizza places use belt fed systems and I can't believe people settle for it. I have found a few smaller places that I have enjoyed but not the chain pizzas. Hell people enjoy the $5 pizza only because it is $5 it sure can't be the flavor. Try this place for the brick oven style with the better ingredients then the chain places have.

I've been here a fair amount - 5 times this year. The pizza is pretty great every time. The half price Thurs deal is great. My only complaint is that the sun-dried tomatoes are way too pungent. Their happy hour from 9p to 10p with excellent beers on tap is also rare. In recent reviews, the servers seem to be getting a bad rap. I would say that the servers are young, easy going and tend to return the facial expressions that you give them. If you are feeling pissy, you see that reflected. There is a longer wait for the pizza since it's all done to order, and I tend to focus on the beer during that time. I've generally had good experiences, but I've had the benefit of being in a good mood most times. Maybe things will change, but even if not, I would recommend this place highly to anyone who likes brews on tap and pizza.

Had dinner the other night. We had pizza of course. It was delicious. Everything is made when you order. A very nice thin crust pizza with fresh toppings. We brought it home and the kids liked it so well they went the next night and got one for themselves. They also usually have a decent craft beer selection.
(5)M C.
Great spot that uses fresh ingredients and has a nice sauce. Thurs night 1/2 off is nice too. Only wish they had outdoor seating. Tip: ask for the pie to be finished light with oil and basil, our first visit it was a tad to much but since asking for light it's been perfect every time!
(4)Crystal R.
This pizza is pretty good. The pizzas are BIG as everyone has been commenting. My husband loves that he can add garlic to his pizza (one of his favorites). We've only had carry out there, but there were pretty empty. Hopefully this place picks up on the weekends! Sadly, it's a long drive for us to get that pizza, so I can't be sure we'd make this our go-to spot, but it is tasty! The bartender who took my order and got my pizza was very nice and mentioned the Thursday special as well.
(4)Lori C.
This was my first visit to Tony Sacco's. We ordered a vegetarian pizza that was good, but just not my favorite. It had tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, and zucchini. The zucchini was barely cooked, but I guess that would be the case when the pizza only cooks for 6 minutes. Drinks were $3 tonight which was great. Our waiter and the manager working were very nice. I would give 4 stars on the service, and 3 on food if I can. I enjoy a pizza with a stronger sauce flavor than what we had tonight.
(3)Jay B.
Very tasty pizzas, but expensive. Thursdays are 1/2 off, so try them then. I often order Margherita Pizzas; I was surprised by no tomatoes on top. The yummy sauce made up for it. Almost. Maybe it's because they are rather new, but there were so many staff milling about it seemed a bit chaotic in a manic way - as far as experience and atmosphere go. Service was friendly. We'll be back again (some Thursday).

I don't give 5*s easily. The pizzas and seemingly all other foods are made from scratch, onsite. The Parmesan cheese in the shake containers is real cheese freshly grated by a local dairy. I'm a serious pizza snob, and you can't do much better, and at the price, you cannot come close. The crust is thin, and the cools are inclined to obtain some char ("burned"), which is proper and desirable, though some members of the public lack the sophistication to know this. One suggestion: the aluminum pans undermine the cook's enviable achievement in consistently obtaining crispiness all the way to the center of the bottom. They should consider adding a cardboard liner atop the aluminum serving pan, particularly cardboard that shows its corrugation on one side. That way the pie can sit atop a layer of air and touch only moisture-absorbing paper. Advice to dear patrons: 1. Request your pie served in a cardboard to-go box, with the lid open (as to not entrap moisture). 2. Order only medium size, as this size best matches the oven's heat profile, assuring a perfectly even result. The staff is especially marvelous, but because of that, it turns over frequently. Don't get attached! The craft beer selection is good enough, and the M-F happy hr 3-6 & 9-close, Sa all day is fantastic (Saturday's all day happy hour includes $3 for nearly all liquors, which includes Prairie Vodka & Gin, and one marvelous tequila) The buildout and staff make this by far my favorite place in the area near my home.

My husband and I saw this place and just had to check it out. By chance, we went in on a Thursday (and pizzas are half off)! We ordered the Caprese appetizer (use the Balsamic) and the Greek pizza. The pizzas are thinner than most places, although are made in a brick oven. Pizza was great. No leftovers to take home. Our server, Asia, was very attentive and refilled our drinks immediately. I recommend going late lunch/early dinner, the place does get busy. Recommend highly.
(5)Tim M.
Good pizza, great service. Manager was very friendly, sat down to tell us all about coal fired oven pizza. Very pleasant experience. Definitely will go back.
(4)Jeff P.
Great pizza and great atmosphere! Plus on Saturdays they have $3 drafts. I highly recommend!
(5)Boo M.
We met some friends there and it was my first time experience. The pizza is pretty decent and I like the thin crust. We ordered an appetizer of garlic bread, a BBQ chicken and a Greek pizza. The Greek was my favorite but it didn't have calamata olives or much feta cheese. They get a four out of five because if this. Greek must have calamata olives and lots of feta! The service was amazing! Good job on that! It is definitely worth going back.

Came here for lunch while in the area and loved it! Friendly staff, good beer, & great food. Will be back next time we are in the area.

I have been a frequent customer at Tony Saccos for a few months now, and I love the way that their restaurant is run. No freezers, no microwaves. Everything is absolutely fresh, and the food shows this. My personal favorite pizza from Tony Saccos is the barbecue chicken pizza, but I have tried them all and I've loved every one of them. With their signature made in house Ranch dressing, you can't go wrong. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Brandon and "Big Jake" are typically the servers taking care of me and they know mine and my girlfriends drink order right away. They always make us feel welcome and at home, and we never walk out the door without feeling full and happy! The bar is also very clean with a nice selection of craft beers to fit your seasonal taste! Definitely deserves this five star review!
(5)Richard G.
A date night destination for my pizza obsessed wife and I. Thin crust pizza with fresh toppings are delicious, seasonal beers and a wide variety of wine. It's open seating area lends it to be on the loud side, but it's meant to be more of a sports watching-loud talking place than a romantic pizzaria.

My wife and I were here for the opening. What a great place. This is not just another pizza joint. The menu has everything from salads, wraps and calzones with pizza in between. I started with a half Caesar salad and it was delicious and plenty for one person. My wife ordered a caprice salad appetizer and loved it. We then split a personal pepperoni pizza and it was enough for the two of us, and it was terrific. The pepperoni has just the right spiciness. A great meal and everything seemed fresh. We were there with a large group and the service was perfect--everything came out just the way ordered, promptly and with a smile and we were not with a group easily pleased, For just starting with a new staff on the floor and in the kitchen it was amazing.. I almost forgot the desserts, although I did not order them, I got of bite of a chocolate cake and a strawberry cake and they were exceptional. CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK !!!
(4)Mark S.
Started with a half order of the house salad which was fresh and large enough for about 4 people. Also tried the Garlic Knots which were hot and very buttery. Had a couple pizzas, one Margherita and one Naploi. Both were very tasty with a nice thin crust.
(4)Matt K.
Not a fan, Went on a Monday evening, the place was empty. Had a pepperoni and Margherita pizza. Both were wet and Soggy, sauce was very uneventful, limited menu, crust was mediocre. Service on the other hand was great. Dessert was ok, had the cannoli chips.

I haven't liked pizza in years. They all tend to taste the same. We stopped here because grandson wanted pizza. This is the best pizza ever. We had the Capo with fresh mozzarella on one side and regular on the other. Both were very good. Many craft beers. We also had the antipasto salad which was excellent. I even insisted on taking some home, which I never do. Can't wait to go back. You won't go wrong here. Reasonably priced. Waiter was very helpful and nice. Fast service. We were in a hurry and got right in and then got our food in a very timely manner.

I was out with the family when we noticed a grand opening sign for this place, we are pizza fanatics so we decided to check it out and we weren't disappointed! The interior is tasteful with a nice bar area and stacked stone walls. Plenty of seating and tvs to catch a game. I was hesitant about visiting on their grand opening because they don't always go smoothly but the service was great! Our waitress was friendly and prompt and they won over my son! He was in a foul mood when we arrived until the waitress brought him a ball of pizza dough to play with. He was ecstatic! For an appetizer we ordered the Caprese salad and it was everything Caprese should be...simple and fresh! The tomatoes were wonderful with the mozzarella and basil. I drizzled balsamic vinegar over mine. We also received some garlic rolls before our pizza. They were pretty good, my boyfriend didn't care for them though and he loves his bread! So we ordered 2 pizzas for dinner. One was a basic pepperoni and cheese and the other was their Greek pizza sans green olives. I really enjoyed these pizzas! The sauce on the pepperoni pizza was phenomenal and the pepperonis were very tasty. The Greek pizza was so amazing! They did accidentally forget to leave off the olives so we had to wait like 3 extra minutes for that pizza but it didn't bother me, a manager came over and apologized which was nice. Anyway, back to the Greek pizza. It had feta, banana peppers, red onions, tomatoes and fresh basil. All of the ingredients looked and tasted fresh. I do like my pizza a bit crispier so next time I will probably ask for it to be cooked a little longer. Tony Saccos will be a place we will come back to again, I would love to try some of their other menu items!
(4)Jeanet K.
I have dined in and out. Pizza is great. Toppings are so fresh, thinner crust which I like. They have a huge table next to the bar which would be great for a group..the bar itself is pretty big, too. Atmosphere inside is so refreshing with all the Coney Islands in this town! We need more places like this in town!
(5)Marquis S.
Good food. We had the caprese and capo pizza. Delicious. None left to take home thumbs up! Asia was our waitress, enthusiastic and attentive.
(4)Keith R.
Count me as another very satisfied customer. During a recent visit I had the buffalo chicken pizza. It was delicious - strong, fresh flavors with excellent execution. The crust was amazing: thin, chewy, and flavorful. Yummy. Having visited this location soon after the grand opening, I was very pleased with the great service, and I suspect this with improve even more with time. A great addition to the Canton restaurant scene.
(5)Sherry K.
We got carry out here on Sunday, we have been wanting to try it- because we love Genova's, and we wanted to see how it compares. We got two pizzas, one for us and one for our kids. They mistakenly put basil on our kids pizza(which we knew they wouldn't eat) but they apologized , made us another pizza, and gave us a gift certificate(we weren't expecting that :o) ). The pizza was AWESOME !!! So yummy !!! we will definitely be back for more.
(4)Nicole M.
We went here on my birthday which also turned out to be the same day that Canton was doing some Food Crawl event. When we arrived (it was a Tuesday) the place was packed and the hostess informed us of the event and how they were understaffed and training new people. People were coming in by the bus load and they were not prepared for the crowd, even though they were one of the participants in this event. They were short staffed and it was very over crowded. We were seated and our waiter was nice enough but he was attentive more to the crowd of people and we weren't getting the service everyone on here promised. Our pizza was not great. The toppings were lacking and the edges and cheese were burned. The rolls, that I was promised would be awesome, were not. They looked as if they were just thrown in a basket and someone dumped oil all over them. We got the hummus but barely enough pita pieces and there was a ton of hummus left over. Our refills on our drinks were lacking and we had to track our waiter down several times to get napkins, clean plates and refills. I was sadly disappointed because of all of the great reviews on here. The fact that it was my birthday dinner also made it even worse. Not in a hurry to go back here and will probably just order Jet's next time. Perhaps they should have spent a little extra time taking care of us paying customers instead of those walking in for the event. I understand that those individuals had to pay 35 dollars to go to like 10-12 different restaurants in one night, but still for it being my first time, this was a really bad impression that I cannot seem to shake.
