A typical coney place, but a little nicer! The place is really big and has a lot of light inside. Which is definitely refreshing for a coney island. I went into the restaurant with intent to eat lunch, but saw everyone eating omelets and I was sold, so I thought. I ended up order a vegetable omelet, with homefries, and rye toast. When the meal was delivered to my table it look awesome! I was very please until I bit into the omelet. You could definitely tell they were using that "fake" liquid butter stuff. My veggies inside were coated with it. I had asked that my omelet be cooked dry, so assuming that you think they wouldn't have marinated my vegetables in fake butter. The taste took over the omelet. I ended up just eating the eggs instead of the veggies inside. Lucky for me they don't actually put the veggies in the eggs, they just fold the veggies inside of the eggs. I would consider this more of a "stuffed' omelet style. The homefries were really good and cooked well, as well as the rye toast, which tasted bakery fresh. My coffee was hot, good, and refilled often. I would go back again to maybe try something different. But the place didn't impress me that much. My dad loved his omelet and didn't complain once. So maybe it is just me and my "picky" taste buds.

Very disappointed. This place has no concept of customer service. They messed up our carry out order on two separate occasions. Then, a manager promised to make it up to us by discounting our bill on our next visit & took our name. However, upon our next visit, they could not find any record of our mishap. Instead of being helpful & taking anything off our bill, the manager did NOTHING. Offered no compensation. And their chicken lemon rice soup is terrible.

Not impressed. The food wasn't all that great and for a coney island, I didn't think the menu was all that impressive. I ended up just getting a ceasar salad to take home. The waitress met me immediately and gave me a menu. I ordered and sat at the take out counter in the back while they prepared my salad. It smelled like smoke. When I got home the salad was pretty mushy. I think they used leaf lettuce instead of romaine. They sprinkled cheese from a can over the top. Thanks for trying, but I'd rather no cheese than that fake Kraft foods garbage. I thought it would be hard to mess up a salad, but they were able to do it. Food was poor. Service was ok. There are plenty of other Coney Island restaurantts to try in town. I won't be back any time soon.

3 strikes, you're out! We normally order take out and each time.it is the same. A gyro dinner with chili cheese fries and a spinach pie dinner sub rice for fries and a salad. The 1st time we placed this order we were missing the pita for the gyro and the sauce. The 2nd time it was fries instead of the noted rice. The last time was major and we will not be back. I bit into my spinach and heard a crunch which is not normal. So I pulled the food from my mouth and found a fly bit in 2 wings and all. I threw up. Their portions are good and prices are right but their quality control leaves a lot to be desired.

I wish I could leave less than one star. Ordered Greek salad having them leave off 4 items and ask for a few extra cucumbers and they charge me $. 50 extra?? Don't order a strawberry shake. You'll get blah strawberry milk with whip cream on top and in a Styrofoam cup with coffee lid. When asked very rude manager about the extra charge he says extra items on menu are $. 50. Poor customer service. Waitress was less than friendly. Will never go again.

Average food but fairly broad menu. My first coney island visit anywhere. Service was quick and efficient.

I am always inclined to like a coney place, I am a Detroiter. I had a good time here, place was clean and service was friendly. I took my dad as my mother is in her shopping mode and he is bored and hates to shop, going out with me is a good reason to beg off. It is never hard to convince him to go for a coney or gyro anyway. He is where I get my taste for diners, coney islands and dive places from. The food was good here. He had a gyro combo with rice and a mini greek salad. All of it was well done and tasty renditions, I know because he gave me bites. I had a bowl of chili special which had extra meat, onions and cheese and a side of fries which I dipped into this concoction. Unhealthy and risky heartburn wise but that is why I take omeprazole anyway, might as well put it to the test, besides I felt like chili. He was very happy because I let him pay. He is so old school. All in all we were pleased with the place. He thinks it needs more tables though as he hates booths at his age and belly girth. I think it needs late night hours, especially being right across from the Emagine.

Went here for dinner tonight as it's in my 'hood and very close. I keep forgetting I can practically walk there. This was my 2nd visit. Our waitress seemed kind of dip-waddy and coney places like this seem to love to employ young hot teen girls. LOL. I don't care what they look like as long as the service was good...she was obviously very new and trying, anyway. Had a greek salad with chicken, chicken was way too over-done but I will still eat the leftover that I took home. Once the chicken soaks up the dressing all up in there, it'll be perfect. Daughter had a gyro, friend had chili cheese fries. No complaints. It's typical coney food, pretty large menu. I spied a neighboring table who had ordered an omelet and it looked huge. In fact, I ate here a while back and ordered breakfast and it was very good. Clean restaurant with pleasant, new decor, even the manager/owner man came to tables asking how everything was. 3 stars for now just because my chicken was so over-done...but as a general rule, something has to be pretty frickin' bad before I will complain or send something back, anywhere. I don't want a side of spit when my "corrected" plate comes out. Will more than likely return, once I can remember that I can even walk there the next time I am craving chili cheese fries or even a shish kabob perhaps...

My girlfriend and I went for breakfast this morning. We assumed a good dish would be gyro omelettes. They were a little bland compared to Leo's or Kerby's. The "guts" of the omelette weren't spread evenly so each section tasted different. The other problem was that the gyro meat didn't seem fresh and was overcooked. Actually crunchy and crispy. I did ask for my hash-browns to be crispy and they came out the same as my girlfriends. The waitress was ok and it seemed clean, but we will not go back there because of the food. We are always looking for places with great food.

After going to Ikea, we stopped at Parthenon Coney Island for breakfast. It's located in a strip mall near a Wal-Mart and Sam's Club. It was really bright and cheerful inside. The space is large and open. There is a lot of seating, mostly in booth form. The place doesn't have much decoration as you would expect from a "parthenon" but it was very clean and nice. The menu is gigantic. Most of the food items are the same as your standard Detroit Coney Island. I got a standard breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, meat and toast. Everything was prepared well and was served quickly. The waitress was attentive and efficient. I'm rarely in Canton but if I am I would gladly return here.

The location lends itself to going to the Parthenon and I/We have been there several times. The food is good the waitress is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean. It's A-OK. I'll be back, 3 stars.

We love going out to coneys for breakfast, but won't be coming back here again. Got here when they opened only to see one of the waitresses putting the dirty welcome rugs out and then serving customers.... Without washing her hands! YUCK!

I am adding to my review that I had the treat of two straight Sunday breakfasts here and the waitress, Fefe, has made my list of top 5 waitstaff of all time. She was not only friendly and patient, she anticipated our needs and went that extra mile every time she walked by our table!

Okay, I'm a Detroiter... and you know Detroit is known for their good Coney Islands...and most are 24 hrs... the only down side about living in Westland is that the coney's around here are not 24 hrs :(.. anywho This Coney dissapointed me, my hubby and I were starving and had a taste for some coney. I ordered a corned beef on rye with swiss and cole slaw. My husband had a cheesburger and chilli cheese fries... My corned beef was not seasoned at all... the coleslaw wasnt to tasty either ... I was highly dissapointed. My hubbys burger was okay.. however the chill cheese fries had a tiiiiinnny bit of chilli and was all cheese... wtf!!!!! its called CHILLI AND CHEESE FRIES!!!! If we wanted cheese fries we would have said cheese fries.... smh so dissapointed :( wont be going there n e more!!!

this is a somewhat below average diner. did not want to use gas to drive a few miles north for something better. did breakfast so how can one really ruin breakfast!. omelets with hash browns. tasteless, when are these places going to learn that a small amount of seasoning is really needed to make their food more appealing. toast out of the wonder bag, nothing worth eating. and the worst is the coffee, so weak its like bad tea. waitress forgot the water for hubbys hot tea in the little pot. never did ask if we wanted refills till we ask for a box. she was as lifeless as one can get and still be walking. prices average - omelets being just below $6 with toast and potatoes. will not return and advise all to find something better.

I have to agree with Sarah R on this one.."as Coney Islands go, this one is great". I tend to judge coney island's by the quality of their coney dogs w/ chili and their gyros. Both are quality here and the service is quick. Overall if you're looking for a coney island experience in the Canton area, hit this place up.

Just your typical Coney Island food....nothing spectacular about it. Biggest turn-off of this place is that they charge you for each side of ranch dressing you ask for. My daughter ordered chicken strips and when I asked for ranch the waitress told me "we charge extra for the ranch." Are you kidding me? Don't chicken strips usually come with dipping sauce? This place won't be getting anymore business from me.

The hot dog buns were stale and hard. The coney was overcooked, and the server was rude. If you want surly servers and bad food then this is your dream coney restaurant.

As Cony Islands go... This one is great, fantastic, really good! I don't know what to say, I love when you can go into a low priced restaurant and eat standard food that doesn't, well, doesn't suck! The reason that this place has all five stars is because you can get an meal or snack and it is going to be quick, with good service, and it's always consistent. Have you ever had a specific meal in mind and when your food comes to the table you take the first bite and you are severely disappointed? That won't happen here. You always get the same thing (if you order the same thing that is).
