Have come here on multiple occasions and been highly satisfied. The service is friendly and works well with kids. I highly recommend the cajun chicken pasta. The bread is so so, but the pasta is very tasty with a kick of cajun to satisfy the spicy food fans. My wife loves the blue crush Margarita. Cant go wrong with that. It has tv's for sports fans, and clean bathrooms with small tv's.

The service is good and the food is great! We ordered fried pickles, burgers, and sweet potato fries. The burger was the best burger I've had in a long time. Possibly the best burger ever. Easily the best fried pickles I've had. Great place for a date or a get together. We'll definitely be back.

Nice bar and grill in the canton area. Food is good, however from time to time I have been in there and had slow service.

This restaurant is delightful. Beautiful ambiance, delicious food and reasonable prices. I've been here several times and have never been disappointed, nor has anyone that's joined me. I always get the Turkey Panini with fries and the fried oreo dessert. I can't speak highly enough of these menu choices. Delicious fresh brewed iced tea also. I highly recommend reservations in the evening and in the weekend, they get packed.

I want to like this place, I want this place to like itself. The exterior is modern, brick with large windows. Interior has high ceilings with exposed ductwork. Brick walls, frosted glass ( shows greasy finger stains ) airy feeling. This is almost all the compliments I have. Last compliment is I love the fried pickles with chipotle ranch. They're not greasy and are packed with flavor. So, it's dirty. They neglect themselves. Our wood table was kinda sticky and my flip flops that night were more like stick flops. The menu is like a chain restaurant. No specials of the day. We ordered a trio appetizer with tempura shrimp, coconut shrimp and fried pickles. We got four each of the shrimp. Coconut shrimp had a raspberry sauce that was very sweet. Tempura had a soy drizzle already on it. Both were good. Husband ordered Mac and cheese. This was dry pasta with bacon and rubbery parm on top. Tasted like it came out of a microwave. I ordered the calamari fries but sent them back. I think they're frozen and tasted like burnt oil. This place could be great. Cleaner, up scaled menu and it'd be a place I'd like to go to more often.

Mehhh is about it. Don't get the pick two appetizers or will be disappointed. Got three dime sized cheese balls and something that was called jalapeño dip that looked like curry and bland. Booths are stained. Chicken parm was bland. Frozen chicken with some red sauce. All their food is from the Gfs or Sam's club across the street

Hayden's is easily accessed from just east of 275, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with full bar and very comfortable dining. The decor is beautiful! As an appetizer, the Bang, Bang shrimp is a must!!! Just enough spice and a generous portion for sharing. The extensive drink menu includes the $4.99 martini; so may choices like the Purple Popsickle which tastes like - a grape Popsickle of course! I also tried the Lemon which was very tasty! They have a 2/$10.99 Walking Taco menu. My first try at fish tacos was great; A burst of flavors with a small thin piece of fish. The Bang Bang Shrimp taco was delish!!! My friend ordered the Whitefish which was a very generous, well seasoned portion. It is always a pleasure to have options that are flavorful and presented well! We enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much. Our waiter was friendly, quick and attentive!!!

The decor in the restaraunt is nice, but the chemicals that they use to clean with are eating the finish on the tables and they are rough, sticky and bubbled. The sercice was good. The prices are really high and probably the worst food I've had at a restaurant in a long time!! I got a chicken ceasar wrap and the chicken was hard and the wrap was too thick. My fiance got a burger that was tough and dry, and my sister got coconut shrimp which was mooshy. Probably won't come back here. Overall wasn't impressed...save yourself the money and choose somewhere else.

Four of us went for dinner at around 4:30 pm. Pleasing decor, attentive service and decent prices. Nice atmosphere, particularly great for conversation because the music isn't blasting. If you enjoy fried perch, then this is the place to get a terrific perch dinner! Attentive service as well.

You can't beat the prices here. It's an updated, modern place. Everything I have tried was decent. Good for a casual meal or date. Nice option you want to get away from the typical.

I went to Hayden's on Saturday at 6:00 pm with five of my girlfriends. They do not take reservations so it took about 45 minutes before we were seated. The atmosphere was nice and service in the bar was great while we were waiting. Hayden's has a variety of interesting menu selections. The table was clean although the condiments (salt, pepper, etc) need to be regular wiped down. They were dirty. I started with the fried mozzarella balls appetizer. It took some time to come out and was disappointed that they arrived cold. I was starving so I ate them anyway. I'm sure they would have tasted much better served hot. The presentation was nice. For dinner I had a simple bacon cheddar burger. Again, I was disappointed that the burger arrived barely Luke warm. The fries were cold and the meal looked like it had been sitting out for some time. It tasted just okay. The service was average. It took some time for him to return to take our order and not once did he come back to ask how everything was. Would I return? I think I "might" give them another chance.

Fantastic place! Very nice restaurant, friendly staff, and the food is good : ) The Thai glazed Salmon has been fantastic the last two times I have had it and you are getting large portions of food for what you are paying. Love this place : )

Went here last night for the first time with my husband. Service started out a bit slow but once we ordered, it was smooth sailing from there. We got the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer. It came out luke-warm and wasn't the best I've had. Very heavy on the spinach which I didn't mind but hubby didn't take to well to that. For our meals, I got the grilled tilapia with lobster and butter cream sauce which was absolutely delicious. Hubby ended up eating most of it because I got full on appetizer and salad and fish just doesn't heat up the best. He got the pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun with seasoned fries. His was really good, too. The atmosphere of this place is trying to be super fancy but it seemed a bit off. Booths were stained and the light fixtures seemed like last seasons ikea collection. We were sat on this bi-level area that creaked and shook every time someone walked by. Just seemed a little unstable. All in all I enjoyed this place and will definitely come back for that tilapia again, it was truly fantastic!

We began with the Happy Hour Spicy Asian shrimp appetizer and ice cold Stella's, a perfect start to dinner! Hayden's menu has many great offerings but our personal favorite is the Thai Glaze Salmon. Friendly and efficient staff along with nice ambience makes Hayden's one of go to places in Canton!

Outside appearance? Outstanding. Inside appearance? Very nice. When I go out to eat I look for three things: 1. Ambiance 2. Body language of employees 3. Food appearance and quality. The ambiance of this place is picture perfect. The service and service staff is really bad. No one smiles. Servers do not suggestive sell. Managers look disheveled and unprofessional. Not what you expect when you walk into this place. Keg lines need to be cleaned as soon as this review is consumed. To serve cold drinks on a wood table without a beverage napkin or a coaster is so minor league it's not even funny. Again, not what you expect when you walk in the door. Food appearance is on the good side, taste and quality is lacking immensely. We had the spinach dip which was prepared in house for sure, good consistency and flavor. Fish tacos were awful. It's a signature item too, which is troubling. Fish was over cooked, aioli was probably a day or two passed its expiration date. Buffalo and avocado chicken wrap was a tale of two halves, as one had chicken, the other had avocado. Again, troubling. Back to basics Hayden's, ask your service staff to raise their standards and smile more. For what you are asking for per plate these things must be addressed. Good luck in the future, beautiful restaurant inside and out, poor execution, but this can be improved.

Had lunch here on a recent Saturday with my mom. Wanted to try it out as I'd never been before. It's a nice place right on Ford Rd. at the corner of Lotz Rd. It's big, open, and airy. We were seated near the bar and as it was early the bartender came out to take our order. I got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and my mom got a salad. The portions were quite large. My chicken breast was so much bigger than the bun it was served on, it was almost comical. The salad my mom was served was very large, so much so the she took home at least a third of it. The food is good, solid, and filling. The atmosphere was nice, the music playing was pleasant, not too loud. The service was polite and friendly. All in all, a nice experience though the food was a C+/B-.

This is slowly but surly becoming one of our favorite spots. We started with tempura style coconut shrimp with raspberry vinaigrette and cream cheese jalapeño dip. Main entree is two large tilapia fillet's topped with lobster and butter cream sauce. An extremely phenomenal dish and it was only 17.99. The service and ambiance was amazing. And if your in Canton this place is a must try. Yummmmmm

What an amazing menu! It literally took me ten minutes to decide upon what to order because everything looked good. I ended up ordering the Rueben, which is my litmus test to determine if a restaurant is up to snuff. It passed the test with flying colors. Many restaurants screw up the Rueben, Hayden's surpassed it, perfect amount of tasty meat, nice cheese, dressing, and kraut ratio, and it wasn't soggy. The sandwich was heavenly. I also had the Mac and Cheese. It was nice and Al Dente with a nice peppery Parmesan Overtone. My friend had the fish tacos and the wild rice. I still get texts about how they want to go back for more fish tacos. Great prices, perfect portions and a wonderful menu. I can't wait to come back.

I keep trying trying trying because the food good. Some of it is really good. The problem is... the service sucks. Each time I've been in my drink gets empty and I have to wait for the servers to stop socializing with each other to get a refill. Or the tab. Or a box. Or change/card back. Etc. I really really WANT to like this place. I really do. They just need better service. The food is delish and different than the usual fare. I always enjoy it. I just don't go very often because I can't get over the poor service.

Great place with great food and great prices. Lots of great options to eat and drink. The happy hour specials are dynamite. The environment is super swanky the only issue was our server could have been a tad more attentive...otherwise great experience...oh yeah they have fried Oreos and Twinkies ;)

Been wanting to try this place. The inside was nice. The food was delicious. Drinks were tasty but a little pricey. Our service sucked!! I am a server and this girl was mia the whole visit. I will still try it again but they should step up the wait staff a bit.
I went here for dinner last night. It took over ten minutes for someone to come acknowledge us after we were seated. We ordered the Sriracha shrimp which was the best thing of the entire meal. They were really good. My friend ordered a sirloin medium that came out well done and then they made a new one and the texture was grainy. My food was cold and looked like it had been sitting in the window for awhile. We also had to asked the waitress to refill our drinks. If it weren't for the shrimp I would of given it 1 star.

I met a friend for a visit again. This is my third visit. My second visit was ok but I had a "Friend" who decided to run up the tab on me unknowingly as they invited me to the spot. This of course was not the restaurants fault. Therefore, I am able to give another review. The drinks were good though. The food was also good. I had the Fish taco the third time around. This location is becoming pretty popular in the area. The fish taco was good. Not the best but good. I also had the Caesar salad which was also edible. It seemed to have too much cheese and the dressing was just ok. This place is good to catch a bite and a drink either when meeting someone or checking out a Movie at the Imagine seeing that the Imagine sits right behind the restaurant.

I wanted to like this place but I just couldn't. The ambiance is nice and the price matches what this place would charge. Unfortunately, the food was not worth the cost. I ordered the steak medium and it came out well done. It was very chewy and without flavor. The fried pickles were very greasy. Didn't like them at all.

Went on a busy Friday night. Waitress rarely stopped by, waited an hour and a half for our food, it was obviously left under the heating lights for a long time, my Reuben sandwich was hard on the top and soggy on the bottom, and the fries looked so unappealing that the waitress offered to give me new fries before she even put the plate on the table for me to see them. I can only assume she didn't ask how the food was because she knew it was sitting under the lamp forever and wasn't good. Won't be coming back.

This is my 2nd time here. I've had a few of the Happy Hour specials. The fried pickles with chipotle ranch are delicious. The spinach-artichoke dip could use a makeover it's too creamy and could use more flavor. The boneless wings are your typical wings from a bar and grill. They are okay. The Philly cheesesteak is good. I wasn't impressed however with the fried perch. I didn't care for it because they were fried in a bread crumb type of breaking I was expecting a batter type of fried fish so I was kind of bummed. The atmosphere is adult casual nice environment. There is a private dining room as well. Would be great for birthday parties or special events. I will try Hayden's again for the 3rd time. I want to make this place a hit but I have to find the perfect entree dish. I hope it find it. I have great hope for this spot. I think it's a great Happy Hour spot!

Stopped in with some friends after a funeral. I love the interior of this place. There's something sexy about the place. As an appetizer, we had fried mozzarella balls. Pretty good! They could've been cooked a bit longer. But they were still tasty. For my entree, I had the perch dinner. OH MY GOD WAS IT GOOD!!!! Our server was very cool. She seemed to have quite a few tables. But she stayed right on top of things. We really like Hayden's. It's a definite must!!

Great place! This was my first visit but I had heard some good reviews from friends. I'll definitely be back. The bartender/waiter was very friendly and the service was extremely fast. We ordered appetizers and had salads with our meals. Everything was brought out quickly but left enough time in between to enjoy each course. The food was done to perfection and was great tasting. Two of us ordered martini flights and those were fun and delicious! Our glasses of water/soda never went dry and they kept the table clear of extra plates. Great service! The ambiance is trendy but comfortable and there are plenty of tv's to watch a game. We ordered dessert after seeing it delivered to another table, it looked so good!

OK, Second time was NOT the charm. Sat in the Bar area with mi sister. The service was horrendously slow. Nice enough, but slow. I ordered the fish & chips, and my sister ordered a burger. The fish & chips were pitiful. 2 square fish fillets that looked like they escaped a McDonald's sandwich and a smattering of fries. Did I get the kiddie menu portion? For the price, I was actually offended. My sisters burger was OK. She said it was basically flavorless & bland. What A shame. I had high hopes. Maybe someday I'll go back and be able to re-revise my review.....

Yum. Fried pickles were great. At my table we ordered smothered chicken with mac & cheese , parmesan fish, and a burger. Everyone enjoyed their food. Don't get fried Twinkie! They use the same oil for everything so it tastes like fried chicken at first then a sweet Twinkie. Really gross. I also thought the martini flight was a throw away. The drinks were too sweet and they come in minature glasses.

This was my first time at Hayden's. The wait was a lot longer than I was lead to believe. I was told by the hostess it would be 15-20 minutes. There was 5 of us so that wasn't a surprise. But, after waiting over 30 minutes I asked again how long it would be and the host had no idea and was rather apathetic (almost rude). Finally another person in my party had enough. We had watched over 30 people be seated before us and they all came after we arrived. The manager took over to assist us and they were able to seat us finally after waiting almost an hour. The manager gave us two free appetizers for our wait. Our server, Matt, was great and attentive. The food we had was great and filling. Next time I think I may call ahead for reservations. The only reason this review got 3 stars is the wait and the attitude of the hostess.

First, you MUST try the fried pickles and the flight of martinis. The Dirty Bird martini is fantastic and Alana was a fantastic server. She hustles! Hard worker. She should get a raise! I will definitely be back!

I frequent this restaurant with both my husband and my girlfriends. Their food has always been amazing as are their drinks. I recommend the flight of martinis that way you can have a little bit of everything. Also, their fried pickles are to die for. I could just go there and order a bunch of those for dinner. They also have a chocolate dessert that is heavenly. I'm not sure of the name but it is basically a chocolate mousse cake. Order a scoop of ice cream with it and you won't be disappointed!

We came to Canton to shop and we were tired and so hungry. Yelp had some good reviews so my companions and I stopped by for dinner. And boy, we are glad we did! The fried pickles are THE BEST I have ever had and I try them everywhere I go. The mac and cheese was awesome and my friends' loved their meals as well. Thanks Hayden's! Oh and Sharina was an excellent server and she gave us some touristy ideas and directions to the outlet mall. Next time I am in Canton, I will be back!

I love this place! My husband and I came for Valentines Day and had a fantastic meal. He ordered a beer and I had a martini before dinner. For dinner he ordered the sirloin steak and I had the Cajun pasta. Given my husband loves red meat he devoured his right away. I enjoyed the Cajun pasta. it was spicy, but not too hot. There was plenty enough for the next day's lunch.... I signed up for their "frequent diner club". Pretty good deal! It's free! The second time I dined at this restaurant I used the free appetizer coupon I earned by joining their club. I had the artichoke dip, which was excellent. For my entree I had the chicken fingers. This was a grown up version of the children's favorite. It wasn't my favorite dish on the menu, but I did appreciate the fact that it wasn't overly fried and the chicken was very fresh. I was expecting more of the deep fried, processed chicken type of thing, but it was still very good. The fries were fantastic and I had more food than I could eat. I brought some home for my husband. He ate it the next day and thoroughly enjoyed it. This place has a fantastic atmosphere! Classy without being pretentious and casual without being sloppy. I've heard their sandwiches and soups are great. I will be back!!!!

Not impressed with my sandwich or my sweet potato fries. I took a few bites of the sandwich before I too the picture. But wanted people to see the portion size. The sandwich was very thin and the this was all I got for my fries. I always feel annoyed when the portion is so small that I just don't feel like it's worth my money.

The food here is very good but the wait staff is simply average to below average. One was very alert and filled our drinks regularly and was available but had an attitude that suggested he was just doing his job and nothing more. On a second visit the waitress was a bit more personable but rarely filled our drinks nor was she very available despite most of the restaurant being empty. If the waitstaff improved this would be a 5 star restaurant without question. As it stands, I'm more likely to frequent Logan's or Texas Roadhouse due to a combination of their good food and out of this world staff.

The drinks are really good here. But the food is over priced for what your getting. There was nothing special about their food that is going to make me come back for more.

Mediocre service, and our meals were less than impressive. Forgot a main ingredient in the entree salad that I ordered along with forgetting the blue cheese on the sandwich of my boyfriend. Cold fries were brought as the side to the sandwich. They did bring hot fries upon our request. The menu looks and sounds tasty, but did not live up to its description. We will not be stopping in during our next visit.

My girlfriend and I had numerous problems with our food. First our server was very slow considering the place wasn't busy at all and we were seated off of the kitchen in the rear room. The calamari was cooked in dirty grease an made the food unedible. We opted for the renowned fried pickles which salvaged the appetizer part of our meal. The dinner dishes came out way top fast to be cooked fresh and it showed. My girlfriend had to send back her meal twice while I choked down my overlooked and flavorless meal. Also I have to talk about the decor in relation to the menu. While the place itself has an upscale feel to it the menu screamed dive bar. This was a one-and-done for us.

Mark G.
Average wait time. Inside decor is contemporary. Martini selection has lots of options. Overall size of the place is small. Based on the quantity of business they appear to get it should be bigger with more seating and more tables within the bar area itself. Menu selection is above average. Surprised the salad plate was not chilled. Warm as if it came straight from the dishwasher. White fish entree was huge but taste was just average. Big fish but 1/4 cup of wild rice. Came with lemon slices instead of wedges. Had to ask for wedges to be able to squeeze it into the fish. Wait staff was polite and helpful. I will be back to try different menu options.

Went to this restaurant last weekend with a friend of mine. She goes all the time, this is my first time going. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is laid back but still nice. I enjoyed it there. Our waitress kind of only checked on us in a constant walk so we never really were able to give her an answer. Luckily nothing was wrong or this could've been a bad experience. Overall though I enjoyed it and I'd very likely go back.
(3)

The calamari is amateur and a pedestrian version of something when done right, is awesome. My server seriously needs a training program. Her ability to sell was weak and she could easily make more money if she actually put in a little effort. The steak salad I got was huge, but the steak was chewy and it was overdressed. Also during the meal the phone was ringing a little longer than usual, and for some reason the bartender decided to scream about it. It wants to be a casual fine dining restaurant, but unfortunately there are some missing pieces in every aspect of the experience. Nothing special, I wouldn't go back, but fitting for the area.
I voted I did not like Hayden's but the vote was all regarding the slow and bad service we recieved. All our food was very good but we had to ask Daniel, our server, various times for water, extra dressings, plates, drinks. He seemed very overwhelmed and the restaurant did not seem busy.

I've eaten here several times for lunch. My expectations for taste, quality and service for restaurants, I'm positive are higher than most ppl. I'd really like to give it a 3.5 star rating. But we can't do that, regardless...... On to the food Must try southwestern egg rolls. They are really good. But I every time I get them, they're just a little diff. So obvious inconsistencies in the kitchen. I've had their blue/balsamic burger a few times and I really like it. Although, I'd order it a notch lower than you'd like it cooked. If you like it a true medium for ex., then order med rare. Another example of inconsistencies in the kitchen. Sweet potato fries are really really good too. They sprinkle a little sugar on top. Very yummy. Tomato bisque soup is very rich and flavorful. Everyone that I've gone there w/ has enjoyed their meal as well. If you're on that part of Ford rd. in between Hix and Lilley, probably best chance for decent food.

We heard about this place and heard about their claim "the coldest beer", which was enough to peak our interest. After a long IKEA shopping trip, we had planned to get a bight to eat. Hayden's is awesome. So good, it seems like I should've heard of this place sooner and heard about more than their "coldest beer" ...which, their Hayden's Ale is so, so, so good. And cold. It's like Hayden's should be featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. The appetizers aren't your typical appetizers and the Jalapeno cheese dip appetizer and their homemade salsa immediately sets them apart. So, if you're keeping track ...I went from the Hayden's own ale, to their homemade (truly homemade) salsa and jalapeno cheese dip. Nothing reheated or poured out of a bottle, I could tell. And I had fully planned on getting a burger but ...yawn. How boring would that have been once I saw the menu. Pork shoulder? Slow roasted? I mean, who has that on a menu. It shows they take time to cultivate a menu that might mean you wait for your meal and it might mean they spend all day making the pork tender and juicy. And ooooooh, was it. My wife got their Cuban sandwich, made with this same sweet and salty slow cooked pork. I'll be back and I'll be bringing friends. Worth the drive, even for me coming from Bloomfield Hills. And ...there's IKEA.

Get the Osso Bucco. Zowie - it is fantastic and I can't help ordering it every time we are at Hayden's. My wife has tried scallops, fish, burgers, and other main courses and has always been quite happy. But she always steals some of my Osso Bucco. Nice atmosphere (used to be a Mexican restaraunt and you can barely tell - nice renovation). Very good service. Fair prices. High quality food. We like it a lot and have yet to leave disappointed.

Meh. The prices were reasonable, but the fare certainly did not appear made to order. Our server forgot--two times, our drink order. I had no idea a Diet Coke and a water cold be so confusing. It's a great looking building, but I think I'll wait until I hear if some serious improvements before I return.

So I gotta thank Liz R for this one as her review was the push I needed to try Hayden's. Based on my experience, Hayden's really nailed it. I walked in expecting to see another Applebee's type place with walls full of chotchkies. What I saw was a cool & modern restaurant packed with happy people and busy servers. I sat at the bar and was greeted by 2 incredibly friendly bartenders. Karen C and I met primarily to try some of their martini's and boy did we! We both ordered martini flights where they give you 3 smaller sized drinks, but you can choose any martini on their menu. All in all, we tried the following martini's: Key Lime, Metropolitan, Banana Split, Beachtini, Jolly Rancher, Absolut Luau, and Pomegranate. Although they probably could have been a little stronger, each one tasted fabulous! I'd never had a martini flight before and this was a perfect way to sample several items on the menu, without having to go down the list one by one. We also ordered a few appetizers: deep fried pickles, calamari, sea scallops, and some tomato bisque. All were very tasty, but I definitely recommend the bisque. Perfectly creamy with a rich tomato flavor. We ended the night with an ultimate waffle. Um...wow. I think I gained 5 pounds just from that, but it was worth it! A fresh warm waffle topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate and carmel sauce. Pretty basic but completely hit the spot. A previous reviewer mentioned the menu was dated and the food was forgettable. I didn't try any entree's so perhaps I have no ground to stand on, but I didn't feel that way at all! Maybe they've had a couple of months to improve their dishes, or maybe I just have low standards.

Well this is not Don Pablos anymore, thank the good lord. Hayden's is a real shocker. They really have spent the bucks to redo this place into a lovely restaurant. The menu is fairly standard but the execution was excellent. For this particular area it is quite exceptional. We started with the grouper fingers. Well seasoned and nicely coated, the fish was perfectly cooked inside to flaky happiness. They were served with a chipotle tartar sauce and gobbled quite happily. The waiter told us if we liked these, we must try the deep fried pickles. Oh yeah we will be back to do just that, promise. The appetizers all looked great, we saw quite a few pass us by. I chose the tenderloin toppers as my meal. They described it as three mini tenderloins but they were bigger than I imagined. One was topped with shrimp and a lemon butter sauce. The second was oscar style with crab meat and bernaise. The third was topped with a lovely scallop and garlic cream sauce. All were delicious, the meat was melt in your mouth tender, the sauces added a nice touch to each. I ordered a salad and balsamic dressing and a nice baked potato as my sides and liked both. My husband shared mine but ordered his own grilled pork chops. They were juicy and seared on the bone. He ended up taking most of it home and finished my meal for me but he says he was not disappointed a bit with his pick. His redskin mashers were nice and his salad was too. The experience was really wonderful. Everyone was so charming and things were so well run. Every bite I had tasted great. It is hard to believe this place just opened. What a delight! We will return soon.

I had the chance to visit Hayden's this past weekend where some colleagues had arranged for a surprise retirement party for one of our team there. The place is nice on the inside, plenty of room and easy access from I-275. Easy to find and go to for a bunch of us that were flying in from all over the country to go to this little get-together. In all they earned an A-OK rating of 3 stars. I'll go with a pros/cons type of list (a new type of review style for me): PROS - Clean and well maintained, lots of room, good for groups with space provided - Easy to find - Friendly service - Mixed drinks and beer were good - Mini flat screens at each stall to keep up with your televised game while you take care of things in the bathroom, nice touch -The pre meal treats of meatballs/pasta and sauce (both in red and cream sauces) were awesome, the best part of the food, I could have had tons of it! CONS - Separate room needed for surprise and dinner not set up at designated time (they did comp drinks during the waiting time at the bar, a plus) though this event was planned out weeks in advance (it was over an hour wait, hard to stall if you are planning a surprise) - The one bartender seems a bit overwhelmed at the influx of our large group, again this event had been planned out well in advance - Serving of the main meal seemed to run a bit behind it appeared - Those drinking wine around me did not like most of the selections (I cannot confirm as I was not enjoying wine this evening) - The chicken salad wrap choice was more "goopy" than solid, very heavy on the creamy part. Pretty tasty if it had not been so heavy on the mixture, also a bit too sweet with the fruit in it. - A bit lengthy getting the bills out, but understandable with a large crowd like us Bottom line: Would I give Hayden's another try if I was in this part of town? Yeah, probably so. Probably a lot of the cons were from coordinating a large group event like we had that night. Like I said, from this one experience I came out with an A-OK 3 stars feeling after all the pros/cons were mixed up together.

We had Jessica tonight and ???.?? We'll see how it goes.. OMG!!! This restaurant has been great! I loved the smothered chicken ,bourbon cherry chicken & their fries are yummy! We went to this restaurant twice this week! The first time we visited, it was on the way to drop our daughter off at the airport for her trip to the Dominican Republic to visit a resort with friends! Well, we had to stop for lunch and we'd received a flyer in the mail about this "Hayden's" place which is very near to our home. We found out that Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays they have a "two for $10.00" special, which means that you actually get two small versions or "sampler" versions of several of their entree's to choose from and you may add a side of your choice! Now they had some pretty decent sides, such as: sweet potato fries with cinnamon and sugar on them! They also have many others to choose from! My husband and I chose this item to share since it was only lunch time and my daughter got the "BBQ chicken Wrap". We decided to choose the "Bourbon Cherry Chicken" and the "smothered chicken" and then my husband ordered a salad a la carte and I had some regualar french fries with my "smothered chicken". "MMMMMM".....the food was excellent to say the least!!! The waiter we had, who's name escapes me for the moment, but I think it was "Jason"...he was wonderful too! We were in a hurry and it was lunch time and not very busy, so we decided to come back on another visit and see what it's normally like . We decided to go back on Friday night and try dinner this time. We did have a nice waitres, Jessica who was very very sweet and kind, but not super attentive. I had to wait a very long time for a drink refill and when I found out how tiny my fish was, in my "fish N chips" meal, I wanted to order a few more pieces of fish and pay extra so that I wouldn't be hungry when I left! This time my husband got the "bourbon Cherry Burger" and he go the Sweet Potato Fries! The fries were soooo yummy that I had to help him eat them! Then since it was a "Friday during Lenten season" and since I observe Lent as a Catholic Christian, I decided to have the "Fish N Chips". The taste was really excellent, I mus say! But I was very disappointed when my meal came and I had two "small "hot dog" sized pieces of fish in a pretty good tasting batter! I also had a ton of seasoned french fries on my plate, probably to hide the fact that the fish wasn't enough for a toddler to be full after eating it! LOL... So I do not recommend the "fish N chips" if you are hungry at all, unless you want to pay almost $4.00 for 2 more pieces!! Not worth it, believe me! So there was a lot of good atmosphere, TV's, a fire glowing and a quiet and pretty clean atmosphere. The manager was interested and kind and was happy to see us come back again so quickly! There was mostly good with just a little bit of "bad". The "bad" was not the taste or the cleanliness or anything like that, just the fact that the portion size was really too small for a grown up person to eat as it looked like a "kids meal" with a ton of fries! But we had to pay about 9.00 for the meal all in all. Oh...I cannot forget to tell you NOT to order the "fried oreo's" for dessert!! WE had heard people rave about "fried oreo's" at the "Coney Island" restaurants in our area; so when we saw them on the dessert menu, and since my meal was so small, I decided to try those "fried oreo's". They tasted like the batter was cooked in the same tub with the "fish"; if you can imagine hot doughy oreos, that have no chocolate taste, but instead taste of "fish" batter! EWWWW!!! Not my favorite dessert of the day! There were many other great looking desserts that I'm willing to try next time! The Waitress told us that the chocolate cake is really "yummy", so maybe we'll try that next time? They also had an intriguing dessert which is a waflle with scoops of ice cream on it and drizzles of caramel and chocolate sauces! We may have to try that one some time. I think we will wait a little while to go back again, but I know we will give it another go! The people were kind, the place was pretty clean and relaxing. They had a great manager who seems to really care and the "smothered chicken" that I had the first time was magnificent!

again disappointed. they have added vegetarian items but obviously they do not understand how to prepare them. tried the veggie burger, which i have suggested for years. it really misses the mark, mushy with too many beans, needs some grains like rice or oats. they must have fried it on the grill with either sea food or burgers; it had that funky flavor that just isn't right. way too big for the bun. hubby got the rueben which just wasn't good. unfortunately our food took forever and came out cold; the fries limp and soft; just all wrong. had to ask for ketchup twice; waitress out of it or just possibly over worked with too many tables. this is the LAST try for this place.

What a great spot. We ate at the bar in the late afternoon. Chad the bartender is great. We had the soup and sandwich combo. The Tomato Bisque was unbelievable. Unfortunately, that was my wife's choice. I loved the loaded baked potato soup that I ordered. My sandwich, the Caprese, was perfect. My wife had the Turkey Panini and loved it. We will be back often.

We went for lunch on a Friday, and although the parking lot was full, we got seated right away. The dining experience was strictly middle of the road. Nothing really wrong, but nothing great, either. I ordered the lunch combo special, which I thought was reasonably priced. Garden salad was exactly as I like, with good Ranch dressing. The mac and cheese was disappointing. It was actually penne Alfredo, and just ok. I was hoping for the standard, with cheddar, instead it was, as I said, penne with a white sauce and shredded parm on top. While it wasn't terrible, it wasn't something I'd order again. My adorable dining companion had the jalapeño burger, and commented that Red Robin's was better. The fries I stole from his plate were pretty good. Overall, it was an ok lunch. I don't think I'll go back unless I'm invited by someone who really wanted to go there.

We saw a billboard ad for Hayden's on I-275 in Canton, MI and stopped in for the Burger & Fries for $5.99 lunch special. We substituted Mac & Cheese and Red Skinned Mashed Potatoes for the fries. The burgers were OK. The Red Skinned mashed were good, but the Mac & Cheese wasn't the type we like and not too creamy. It is a very nice looking place, but the booth we were in could really use an upholstery cleaning. The service was quite slow for a nearly empty restaurant on a Thursday afternoon. We will probably go back to give it another chance after seeing all the positive reviews and try the deep fried pickles and the two for $10 specials for sure.

Possibly the best deals in town. $3 appetizers during happy hour. The Spicy Asian Shrimp are probably my favorite deal in the area. Add the $2 beers and I am very happy! The service is really good. The couple times I had an entree, I was not really impressed. But, the Spicy Asian shrimp more than makes up for it.

Not the greatest food in a forgettable part of metro Detroit. May have better potential as a sports bar, but they try too hard with their food and it is just down right not good.

Service is kinda slow here... Been twice and its never busy, although I always find myself waiting... And WAITING... Happy hour drinks are tasty but they're not strong at all. In fact I wouldn't think they had liquor in them if I hadn't watched the bartender make it myself. While I do like the area that its in (there's literally EVERYTHING in Canton... If you live out there you never even have to leave the city if you didn't want to... Shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, etc), maybe this location is just cursed. I remember when it was a Don Pablo's and that wasn't anything to write home about either. Maybe if they figured out the direction they wanted to go in (sports bar, upscale, casual, etc) it would be better.

This place is cool and casual...really easy on the pocketbook. You feel like you can order what you want and not have to know what the price is. Everything is very fairly priced- from alcoholic drinks, to entrees, to dessert. ($4 bucks for fried oreo's in ice cream....yummmm) The fried pickles are cute and good, I really enjoyed the blackened tilapia (big portion), the fish and chips, and bbq chicken. Not a fan of the smothered chicken, maybe it was an off day, but it wasn't amazing. This place is very comparable to like, Applebee's or Chili's prices if not better- without the cheesy factor...and drinking is more affordable. BTW they have a happy hour with bar bites and even cheaper drink deals. (LOL coming from the pregnant lady who hasn't drank in forever!)

We've eaten here often. My review is based on tonight's visit. Our server, Mike, was not friendly at all and made the evening unpleasant. It was my daughter's wish to come here on her weekend home from college. Big mistake. Mike was aloof and awkward. He greeted us by saying "we're having a glassware epidemic, so I can't bring you any drinks now." What does that even mean?? I asked him if he could check my rewards card and he said no not unless i had a recent birthday. My daughter ordered a Caesar salad with the dressing on the side; Mike asked if she would like it on the side. She said yes. Both her and my husband's salad came doused in dressing. They picked at 1/2 the salads, the edible parts. I spoke up, and Mike I guess begged the manager to take one salad off the bill. Oh. My sandwich came out wrong (which I didn't mention), my fries came out wrong. He blamed the salad and the fries on the kitchen. He refilled some empty water glasses which was attentive. he asked if my daughter wanted more water. she said no thank you and he filled it to the top anyway, almost rudely or just going through the motions. When he did run my reward card with the bill, he said we have à reward on there do we want dessert,? Um... No... I want out of here. May never return. It was that disappointing.

A hidden gem in Canton. Food is very good and so is the ambience. Never had to wait a long time to be seated or served. First visit was when they first opened; I was given half washed silverware. I made this known to the manger and as a courtesy we were given a gift certificate for 30$ to return for a better experience. As we did, and no complaints at all. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Been there several times. The bourbon cherry chicken is amazing. However this is my review on my last visit on 3\6\ 15. Our server came to our table with a toothpick dangling from his mouth and kept taking it in and out of his mouth for someone touching your food it was kinda gross and unprofessional. If this was my first time id probably would never go back. But one out of 7 times visiting this establishment it. won't keep me away. Also when we arrived we were told 15 minutes for a booth. After looking around and waiting 10 minutes we noticed 5 empty booths we asked why we couldn't have one , and we were immediately seated . Management should also walk and talk to customers and get involved with customer input. Also we were never offered refills on beverages. I will chalk this up to them having a bad night. Will defiantly go back I know this is not an occurring event of this establishment

My friend and I with our respective teen daughters stopped in on Memorial Day 2013 aftrer reading decent reviews on YELP. The restaurant wasn't full, but was understaffed for the amount of business. It was Memorial Day and raining after the weather forecast said the rain would hold off until Tuesday. Our waiter was great. He communicated with us thoughout our visit. Explaining how they were overwhelmed by the amount of business the weather brought in. The food was bleh. My friend's lake perch was overcooked. Her side of coleslaw was served in a condiment sized cup, maybe filling up a 1/8 cup. My baked potato and brocolli sides were not hot. They were warm. My chicken breast was a bit dry. My daughter's steak and fries were fine. When my friend mentioned her poorly cooked perch, the watier was wonderful about apologizing and brought her out a new entree quickly (whitefish which was much better) and a decent side of slaw- about a full cup or bit more. They were great about removing her entree & wine from her bill completely and giving her a free dessert. Overall it was disaapointing. I would give it another try, if I am down that way again, primarily because of our waiter.

One of my favorite places to eat ever hands down plus the fried pickles are amazing! The staff is wonderful and the dining area is very modern.

I am a HUGE fan of Hayden's! It is comfortable, yet classy. The martini flights are so fun and delicious! The fried pickles are ok, the batter that the pickles are fried in isn't seasoned so they're not super flavorful. The cajun chicken pasta is AMAZING-- spicy and super unhealthy haha. The osso bucco is sooooooo good!!! I could easily split it with my boyfriend, the portions are so massive. The steaks and burgers are always cooked to perfection. The waitstaff is very attentive as well. Definitely sign up for the frequent dining card-- they give you a bunch of free stuff, which is ok in my book :)

Always pass by this place on my way to the emagine canton, so i think it was time for a try. Well first the decor in this place is wonderful ( i was won over by the decor actually). So on to food...first for an starter, i had the boneless buffalo wings, which were excellent ( i prefer the buffalo sauce over the BBQ), I also had some of my girlfriends spinach dip, which was OK, but its more of an spread than a dip and could use bread instead of chips for it. For my entree i had the Cajun chicken pasta which was pretty good and the fries which also are pretty good. Along with the strong drinks and good priced beer, i will be back, believe that.

Honestly I'd say it's more of a 3.5 star, but that isn't an option. I've been here a few times by the recommendation of a complete stranger who said I needed to try their fried pickles. I was happy with those and several other dishes, but others did feel like they lacked... something. I got a steak once and it was tiny. Other things I've gotten just didn't have the same flair that I was hoping for. That all being said, it's a reasonably-priced place with a nice ambient light environment (at least at night) and decent service.

Yesterday was our first time dining at Hayden's, and we will definitely be returning. Our server, Korey, was professional, sweet, and attentive. Flawless service. As for our food, I had the Cider Mill Sandwich (Turkey, green apple, cheddar cheese and honey mustard pumpkin sauce on cranberry walnut bread.) I was pleased the portion size was neither paltry nor massive; it was just right. The turkey was tender, the cheese fully melted (it's a hot sandwich,) the honey mustard pumpkin sauce was delicious, and the green apple had actually been cooked prior to being placed on the sandwich. My only suggestion to them would be to slice the apples a bit more thinly and include more of them. My fries weren't greasy and were adequately seasoned. My dining companion ordered their seasonal burger, which had Brie, pears, and onion jam on it. The beef was seasoned and cooked exactly to the specification my companion ordered it. She enjoyed it thoroughly and was surprised that enough pear and Brie had been placed on the burger to be included in every bite. I'd certainly recommend this establishment to others.

Update - I went to Hayden's when I was more in the mood for eating and TV (Tigers game). We had a wonderful time and the food was really good. The garlic dip with chips was especially nice. I have to say that you should only go here if you are in the mood for the type of environment, because otherwise the TVs are a bit much. We'll be back next baseball season!

I've been here several times now, both for lunch and dinner and last night just for coffee and dessert. BTW, you MUST try the ultimate waffle. So good, very big so grab a friend and split it with them. They have great lunch deals during the week. I joined their rewards program and got a coupon for 2 sandwiches for $12. Really? $12 is a steal. And, they let me sub the fries for a tossed salad at no additional fee. The decor and waitstaff are both top notch. Had one bad experience when my husband ordered the Hayden's Sirloin and got a really bad cut of meat. It had a tendon or something running right through it (gross). He was visited by the manager who explained that they cut the steaks right there fresh daily and some how he got a bad piece. They apologized several times, brought him a whole new plate (not just a new steak to eat with his now cold sides) and took everything off our bill. We were more than pleased and have returned several times after this happened.

Nice atmosphere and staff. Dreadful tap and liq selection. Makes you wonder about the food, though my buddy is liking his talapia, which does look good. But I refuse to order food where libations are so poorly regarded. Bud Lite or Killian's, any one? Or Johnny Walker? Oh, and the "free" wifi requires login and other stipulations. Meanwhile a mile away you can get $2.50 tap Guinness at Beaver Creek. Food there cheaper, though not as good... perhaps. I would return for the food, if necessary. But what's food without drink? Well, buddy is done with his fish, which did taste good. We're off to BC for real beer.

We're gluttons for punishment, going to Hayden's on GD Sweetest Day... or maybe we're just gluttons? Either way, Hayden's continues to impress us. We arrived at 8pm, and the place was packed. We were told the wait would be 30-40 minutes, and the hostess said to tack on a bit of time since I specifically wanted a booth. Fifteen minutes later, our buzzer went off. Not bad! We were seated in the back of the bar, and Ken had a great view of at least 5 TVs above the bar. Our waitress Tanya was great. She really knew the menu and said 'no problem' to all of my capital-D-difficult menu subs. Finally tried the martini flight!! Got a Lemon Drop (with my first - but definitely not last - taste of limoncello), a Dirty and a Chocotini. All were great, and I'd get each of them again in large form. Ken got Sam Adam's Ocktoberfest, and his second, ordered after 9pm (hello Happy Hour), cost $3. We had the deep fried pickles again, but branched out and tried the Jalapeno cheese dip. Awesome dip!!! I make something similar, based on a recipe from allrecipes.com , but this is the first time I've seen it outside of my house. Cream cheese and green chilies - close your eyes, and it tastes like a Popper. Try this app if you can handle spicy foods! I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, subbing onion rings for fries. Great dish! You did not need to add a thing to this sandwich. Fresh mushrooms to boot! I was in heaven. Two inch thick onion rings, and you could bite through the onion. I think they charged me an extra $1-2 for the sub, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Ken got the fish and chips, and those were perfectly seasoned also. Love...this...place!

Good service, good menu.. Calamari are the long "stick" like ones, and the spinach / artichoke dip was solid. Buffalo chicken sandwich was pretty spicy, nicely breaded and a pretty big portion. Atmosphere is relaxed, but slightly upscale, prices are on par with most places. This is a solid choice, but I had a hard time finding anything 'outstanding' about it. Overall it just struck me as a mirror image of a 1,000 other places you'd find across the country. Solid, but ultimately forgettable.
Yesterday's visit was my first since the change over from a previous restaurant. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is open, bright and inviting. Flatscreens and glass enclosed firepits adorn the walls. Restrooms have been strategically placed just off the entrance. The drink menu is varied. From martini's to wines to bottled and draft beers. Specials run till six. I was enticed by the dirty martini, ordered it and it's my new fav. Then there's the food. Oh yes and this group of six has very defined food boundaries. There's the burgers only guy, the make mine a salad gal, the adventurer and then us meat eaters. The menu revealed preferred choices for all. I ordered the Hayden's sirloin . Which is served covered with boursin cheese and a pepercorn sauce. This was very tender and flavorful and accompanied by nicely seasoned redskin mashed potatoes and slightly crisp steamed broccoli. Everyone was happy with their choices. Burger guy commented "one of the best I have ever had". Salad gal piped up "this is good food". The adventurer found his choice of braised pork shank to be unique and satisfying. The meateaters smiled blissfully. The waitstaff was attentive without being intrusive. Overall experience very good. Hayden's is most worthy.

We stopped at IKEA and then went to Yelp for dinner ideas. This place was rated to a T! the atmosphere was outstanding and the wait staff was extremely professional and quick. The food...... WOW, Everything from the salads to the steaks and seafood was delicious. My favorite, desert! The got the ultimate waffle.... I don't know what crazy person put together a belgian waffle with ice cream, chocolate sauce and caramel, BUT thank you! it was the best part of the night. We will be back!

Love this place. Only went once but had their soup and sandwich. The tomato bisque was out of this world. The panini was fabulous and Chad the bartender was a blast. Totally wish we had gone for the superbowl. They put on quite a spread from what we heard.

Hayden's is such a refreshing addition to Canton's restaurant options. The overall look and feel is very modern, clean and sophisticated. Stepping foot into this place makes you forget that you are indeed in Canton, MI and perhaps dining out in a big city like Toronto, New York or Chicago. A beautiful renovation of the old Don Pablos. The flat modern fireplaces and light fixtures were my favorite. The booths are very cozy as well. The menu has an excellent selection for appetizers, which happen to be one of my favorite parts of a meal. The deep fried pickles are very different than any other deep fried pickle, it has something to do with the batter I believe. But good, nonetheless. Hayden's fried mozzarella was my favorite, they are like little cheese balls and are served in a martini glass. I had the VEGETARIAN SOURDOUGH SANDWICH which was so tasty on the sourdough bread. The menu has a little something for everyone. And for dessert...the DEEP FRIED TWINKIES. (I posted a picture on here) I fell in love, warm and delicious with a side of ice cream. The best dessert in Canton, hands down. And in case all of that was not enough, they also have the Coldest Beer Tap!! You really can taste the difference with the very chilly beer...my beer was cold until I finished it with my twinkies. :) If you havn't had the Hayden's experience, I highly recommend you visit your next dinner out!

After a 3 year boycott of this establishment I decided to give them another try. Much better folks though there is still room for improvement. Me & 2 friends came in for Sunday night dinner and started with a simple Chips & Salsa appetizer. I enjoyed the 1st bite but as I continued eating, the salsa became very unappealing to me. Very strange I will confess but I wouldn't order it again. I ordered the Osso Buco for my entree. It's a Pork Shank served atop Garlic Mashed Potatoes & a Jus. The Osso Buco was good but too salty. The other glaring error on the chef was that he poured way too much Jus over the Mashed Potatoes. It was almost like eating a soup which was a shame because the flavors were very good. My 2 friends both enjoyed their dinner salads. One friend ordered the Sweet Cajun Tenderloin Tips that everyone agreed was good especially the sauce. Her Mac & Cheese was good as well. The other friend ordered the Grilled Pork Chops which he enjoyed as well as his Loaded Baked Potato. All in all the visit was a success and I do plan on trying this joint again in the future.

After some deliberation, I've decided to go with 5 stars, only because at these reasonable prices, the food cannot be beat. I'm not saying that you're in for gourmet dining but whoever designed this menu was creative without going overboard and whoever was preparing our meal actually cared about what they were making. I didn't leave there feeling like I had sacrificed quality to save some cash and I don't think you will either. Fried Pickles=Very Good. They are not pickle chips but pickle spears so they have some flavor and aren't just all breading. Reuben=Very Good and the fries were tasty and nothing had the "change the grease in the fryer" flavor Jalapeno Burger=Very Good and they'll cook it to order (a must for us). Deep fried Oreo dessert=Awesome! I lived in Canton for many years and know that they have about 200 restaurants on Ford Road but too many of them seem to me to be mostly concerned with just corralling people in, feeding them as cheaply and quickly as possible, and hoping they don't notice. Or, since so many of the restaurants there are doing the same thing, maybe they think we'll come back by default. Haydens is not like that. They have earned my business. They're the kind of restaurant whose food I'll crave and I won't go broke eating there...frequently :)

Went to Hayden's for the first time tonight for my Mom's birthday dinner. The fried pickle appetizer was awesome, we also got the calamari which was a little rubbery, but it is squid, so I wasn't expecting it not to be- but it was also pretty good. Had the mojito's with appetizers and they carry some craft beers as well-anyone that carries Bells is cool in my book. I had the chicken Caesar wrap with seasoned fries, everything was great. Could have done without the family behind us with FIVE children all crammed into one side of the booth. The squabbled and smacked into the back of our booth the entire time while the parents stared into empty space with dead eyes. Seriously, wear a condom or take your kids to Chucky Cheese... ANYWAYS. The waiter was polite, attentive, and knew what he was talking about when making suggestions about items on the menu. I know the waitstaff at any place is forced to suggest things the customer may not have wanted to come in for, but the items we tried were actually good. Impressive decor - for a minute I forgot I was in Michigan. Still had the tv's on every wall, but it was done tastefully and the simple decor made you feel like you were eating in an expensive California restaurant. I wouldn't suggest this place for kids, this is a restaurant for adults. Perfect place for a small scale get-together with a few friends or a date.

My husband and I go here frequently before heading to the movies at the Emagine Theater near by. We love this place. The food is very good. I like their spinach and artichoke dip and the tomato bisque is to die for. My husband has tried a lot of things on the menu and never was disappointed. We recently had a situation with service that did not go well. The manager came over and was so nice. He gave us both meals free and insisted we also have dessert! That was above what was needed to be done. We went today and asked for something not on the menu and they happily accommodated us. I also like being able to see the ball game from most of the seats. If you let them know they make sure you can see the TV. I really have no complaints about this place.

Went here after giving up at searching for the perfect dinner for the night. It was a pretty good compromise. The building itself is pretty nice, nice enough that I didn't think i was dressed up enough (but i was). Servers were on top of things and kept apologizing for the wait on our food. I got the grilled pork with a side of red skin mash potatoes and mac and cheese. The pork was pretty good but the mash potatoes were to die for. There beer selection wasn't anything special but there draft beer was advertised as the coldest around which seems to be true.

Well, I'm back with a review. Circumstances of the past few months have rendered me more than a little busy. But a trifecta of finally moving into my new condo, getting my internet up and running, and going out to eat at a new place means I can finally write a new review! I have been intrigued by Hayden's Grill and Bar since it opened. it looked nice from the outside and being only a few minutes away from my new place, I decided to check it out to see if I had a solid choice in my new local dining list. I must say I'm a little surprised at the negative reviews. My experience was pretty sweet. I looked at it as a celebration of my new home owner status and spent accordingly. I got the Tenderloin Toppers and was blown away by the taste and texture of the meat. It was like I was the prodigal son and I had just come home to a celebration dinner of fatted calf. Melt in your mouth bliss! I didn't even care that my brother was being a jealous prig! The sauces just added to the experience. Especially the bernaise over crab meat, though I doubt they served it that way in ancient Israel. I splurged on dessert and had some cheesecake which was great. Never met one i didn't like, but then again, I'm fat, so that kinda goes with the territory. Anyway, I'll be sure to check in at Hayden's again and see if they can give me a repeat performance.

Hayden's is housed in the old Don Pablo's building, and the layout hasn't changed much. It's still very open, which means the sounds carries. There seemed to be a mixed bag of patrons -- a large party of seniors was seated in our section, and we were flanked by a group of younger "college" guys, and a couple who looked like they were on their first date. There were several families, but the atmosphere would suggest more of an "adult" restaurant. My first time at Hayden's was a few weeks ago, and it was a fairly pleasant experience. Our waiter seemed a little "green", but he was quick and polite. The menu had a lot of really tasty dishes on it, and we started with the jalapeno dip. It was fluffy, creamy and had a nice kick. With most restaurants, you get a ton of chips and hardly any dip, or vice versa, but the chip-to-dip ratio was perfect! I opted for the southwest BBQ chicken salad. There was just the right amount of lettuce, which was adorned with corn, black beans, tomatoes and crispy tortilla strips. I asked for the dressing on the side, which was a BBQ ranch, and it was quite delicious. But...as I dove in for my first bite, I realized they had forgotten the chicken. We promptly flagged our waiter, told him the situation...and he was thoroughly embarrassed. He ran to the kitchen and came back with a plate of diced chicken for me to add. He said he didn't want me to be without food while my boyfriend was eating (very thoughtful). My boyfriend chose the Cajun chicken pasta, and it looked pretty yummy. The portion size was decent, and the penne pasta was drinking up a cajun cream sauce. It also looked like there was a good amount of chicken in the dish. This is definitely a place I'd return to!

......a great discovery next to all the coney island restaurants! The best potatoe soup and burgers...with a classy and glitzy suprise. Great ambiance with great service:)

Okay, we went back to Hayden's for a second time and I have to improve my rating. We had a seat in a cozy booth on the main floor, so we didn't have the annoying thumping of people going up and down the stairs. It was also much busier so the hum of people's voices helped me forget how bad the stereo is (I still hold that they need to invest just a little to improve the sound system - maybe a subwoofer or two would help). We were so enticed by the many yummy appetizers we made dinner of appetizers and soup. The potato soup was really awesome. The drinks were great and they have a really good selection of cocktails and specialty martinis. The service was nice and the whole meal was delicous. I'm upgrading from 3 stars to 4 and will go back again.

Being very, very near to this establishment we have visited this place quite often, so often that we have acquired the Hayden's card, a must if you live in the area and plan to visit here every now and then. The first time we went I ordered the Tenderloin Toppers...awesome! For the price ($19.99) which includes 2 sides, you can't beat it. I was surprised that it was so tasty and a good portion as well. It can be touch and go with the sauces though. Once the pepper sauce was so peppery it was barely edible but nonetheless, I have yet to order another menu option. Another touch and go with this place is the service. Out of the handful of times we've been there, only about twice can I remember receiving exceptional service. Twice we have received terrible service and the rest were just eh. (Being an ex-server, I appreciate great service.) The food presentation is a little outdated, but all can be forgiven when they present to you your Hayden's black card. For every 250 points earned ($1=1 point) they give you a free appetizer and for every 500 points you get $25 to use towards your next visit! Imagine my surprise when the hubby and I went there for after dinner drinks one night (did I mention their exceptional drinks and happy hour specials even on the weekends?) when they allowed us to use the $25 we had earned toward our drink tab! Um, free drinks? Yes please!! I knocked off a star for the service being iffy, but overall we are fans of this place and if you become a card carrying member it's the best deal in town for quality food, drinks, and atmosphere!

After an o.k evening at Haydens,I decided to give them another try since the night we came it was busy. I came on slow afternoon. It took a 35min for take out. All I had was a half a sandwhich, macaroni & fried pickles.I ordered my pickles last. When I got home (3 min away) my macaroni was room temp while the pickles were steaming hot. That's why I didn't understand what took so long. My waiter as unattentive, yet I still tipped for some odd reason. I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere.

EXCELLENT! Great service, great food, no problem with substituting. Fair portions- not too large, not too small. I have no complaints about this place whatsoever and I am very picky!
Alright, this place used to be Don Pablos so it has some "grande zapatos" to fill The first thing you'll notice the deco, you almost feel like you are in a Casino, or a $1000/night hotel lobby. The wait on a Saturday night was less than 30 minutes, not much standing room and only one bench, which sucks if you have 20 people trying to put in their name for a table. The menu ranges from Paninis and Steaks to Ultimate Mac n' Cheese and Salads. There is a lot to choose from but the value is not there. I paid 15.99 for two small pan fried pork chops and two sides. The chops were tender but definitely left me wanting more. The waitress claimed that the beer was the "coldest in town", which I can attest to. With other restaurants right down the street in Westland and Canton I would not opt for Hayden's in the future.

I would recommend eating here. Good size menu. My husband tried the pork chops - they were pretty good. I had the chicken parmesan and it was okay. Want to try something with the bourban cherry sauce. That tastes good.

Canton being a haven of chain restaurants plus lots of excellent ethnic food I was pleasantly surprised to find this upscale grill. The decor is awesome with a high industrial ceiling painted black, excellent lighting, great windows and a classy feel. I went there recently on Mother's Day - although that wasn't the reason - and it was a lovely and festive afternoon! The staff greeted all of the women entering with a flower and despite the fact that I'm not a Mom I thought it was a nice touch. We ordered the scallop appetizer which was awesome. The waitress was TOP notch and was very on top of refills - which as a fast consumer of ice tea is MUCH appreciated. She had refills out before we had finished a glass. I ordered the tempura battered fish and chips which were very tasty and my boyfriend got the cordon bleu sandwich which he loved. The fries were excellent too. The menu is a nice combo of american classics mixed with some creative touches. Definitely will be going back!

We live right by this place and this is the kinda place you can come in a suit or plain jeans and get the same great respect from anyone, as if the great service was not enough the food is outstanding, living in canton you have over 100 places you can eat in about a 3 mile square raduis, I choose Haydens because of the great prices , great food and the over the top staff. The GM's name is jason and he runs a tight ship there !!!! Thank you Jason for your hard work in making a place for me and my wife and now and then my kids !!!

There is not one bad thing on the menu. Try the Pico de Gallo Burger! It was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Happy hour specials are also very reasonable.

I went back to Hayden's for another try a couple of weeks ago. I ordered the turkey pannini (just OK, turkey was crappy deli meat and not a lot of it) and my significant other ordered a burger which was great. The service we received was awesome. Because of their great late happy hour specials served after 9pm (which is the time we were there) and the great service we received this time, I've upgraded my rating to 3 stars. If they ever update their menu I might be willing to go higher if I continue to receive good service there.

I wanted this place to be good, because I live in Canton, and always have to leave town to eat out. All Canton provides are chains. BUT, this joint misses as far as food goes. When looking at their menu, I actually thought it was 1988. To say their menu is dated is an understatement. This is just another restaurant that a SYSCO truck pulls up to the back door and unloads boxes of frozen food and sub par ingredients. They did a great job w/ modern decor, but miss the more important part of delivering memorable food. I forgot what I ate by the time I got in my car. I've had better food at the airport,

We went often when it first opened, but soured on the generally slow service. Gave it another try Friday night about 6pm and had good service. Food has always been good - last night we had Chicken Alfredo and Chicken Parmagiana. The alfredo was a little light on the sauce, when we asked for more it was brought promptly and politely. My wife also had the Tomato soup and it was excellent as always. We will be back

BEST BURGERS I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!! I had the Hayden's burger, it has what a regular burger from a Restaurant would have but when i tasted it was GREAT! I have never had a burger like that anywhere else. To make it even better their buns and other ingredients are local. I heard from other people that for dessert the fried oreo's were the best. Usually when we go out to eat we don't get dessert but we did have the fried Oreo's and it was really good. I can't wait to eat there again.

Great place, atmosphere is nice, nice variety in the menu, and the food is well-priced. Best dessert by far are the deep-fried oreos, no joke!! :) Only recommendation is to never get the steamed broccoli, it's always slightly undercooked. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Hayden's for a happy-hour spot, or a night out with friends!

Pros: Nice atmosphere - open air with high ceilings Casual bar feel, but nice restaurant quality food There's a beef medallions dish where they top each of three different medallions with a seafood topping: scallop, shrimp and a seafood stuffing. There's a light cream sauce on top. It's five star! Cons: None. Just a few nit picks They discontinued the Thai Calamari. Big mistake. One of the best appetizers I've ever had. The biggest steak is 8 oz. Seriously?

We were here a few weeks ago and had the best server that we have had in a while. His name is Dane and we loved him. They also had all their martinis for $5 for the month of September not sure if that is still going on but it made us show up a few times that month. The food is always great and we have never had an issue. When they are busy it does tend to get really noisy and hard to talk because of the TALL ceilings. Hayden's is one of our top favorites for modern american food.

Pleasantly surprised with this place... I would really like to give 3.5 stars. The menu included a huge variety of foods (from Philly Cheese Steak to Chicken Parmesan), with very few things that really stood out as really unique. They had some seasonal specialties, which is always a plus. We started with a seasonal appetizer, thick potato fries topped with bacon and bleu cheese, among some other things, and served with a wasabi sauce. They were very good, and the portion size was good for four. I then had a salad, which came with fresh mixed greens, tomato, croutons, onion, and cheese. I was pleased with the quality of the ingredients. For dinner, I chose a tenderloin trio, consisting of three tenderloin medallions, one topped with crab meat, one shrimp, and one a scallop. The steak was cooked to a good medium, still quite pink and juicy. My husband chose a red wine infused pork dish from the seasonal menu. The meat was good, but he stated it needed a complimentary sauce. All in all, the food was good, and the atmosphere was nice. While it's not the top of my "Must Visit" list, I would eat here again if the opportunity were right. The prices were low for the quality of the meal we received. Next time I will try the Jalapeño Dip appetizer.

I tried this place out today for lunch. It came recommended by a good friend. Hayden's definitely exceeded my expectations. The decor was really nice and inviting. The staff was very friendly. Our server, Kerry, was great. She says "of course!" to both of my substitution questions, which made me very happy (I can't stand it when you have to pay more to get a side other than fries). I got the grilled veggie sandwich on a pretzel bun (it normally comes on sourdough), and it was fantastic. Loved the pretzel bread. For my side I got wild rice and it was really nice and flavorful. I was trying to keep my meal fairly healthy and aside from the oil that the rice and veggies were cooked in (which wasn't an overwhelming amount), I felt like I did get an extremely healthy meal. My boyfriend got a cup of chili which was good, sweet and spicy. He also got the turkey panini and some smashed red skin potatoes. The potatoes were really tasty! The prices were very low for the level of service, quality, and the high-end look of the restaurant. Both of our meals were $6.99. They have great m-f lunch specials, and awesome happy hour specials from 3-6 and after 9, m-f, and I think also after 9 on Saturday, but I'm not sure on that. Kerry gave us a rewards card, which will earn us points (which equate to gift cards) on what we spend, and give us freebies on my birthday and anniversary. I also received a dining survey invitation on my receipt, and I went online and filled out the quick survey, and received a coupon for a free appetizer. For places like these (casual American food), I think about price, quality, and service when I decide whether to go back. I'm usually pretty hard to please too, but this place thoroughly impressed me. I will definitely be back. I want to try the Martini Flight (3 mini martinis for $9.95) and all of the entrees we saw come out of the kitchen looked great so I'll be back try them as well!

I've tried to enjoy Haydens and have been there three times for three totally different occasions and to say I'm unimpressed would be an understatement. The first visit was with a co worker shortly after they opened and was later in the evening, we figured we'd find a drink special or something to help draw folks in and there was nothing. Nice to see the place and the beer was cold, service was fine since it was basically empty in the bar. Looking at the menu and the decor was a bit confusing to me, looks more upscale but is trying to play sports bar at the same time. Second visit was to celebrate job for one of our older kids and there were six of us, this was on a week night with about a 1/2 to 2/3 full restaurant. We were sat promptly and service was fine but even though we all sat at a six top booth together I was near the window and couldn't hear any of the conversation on the outside edge of the booth. The noise in this place is really loud and everything echos off the ceiling. There in desperate need of sound baffles along the ceiling. The food was wasn't all that tasty either, I've never had such poorly prepared Chicken Marsala and Smothered Chicken. The Marsala was served with a thick brown gravy type sauce with no taste of Marsala wine at all, the Smothered Chicken tasted as though it was just pan seared, cooked and topped with cheese. It really didn't make the taste buds happy. My son and another guest had bar type sandwiches which they said were real good. Third visit just last week was the wife and I and we wanted a burger and a beer. We were sat promptly and as soon as I walked I could hear the noise from the bar area as it was pretty full, we were sat on the lower level under the TV's and the noise didn't seem as bad. Glad we asked not to be sat at the elevated area at the front of the restaurant. The waiter was fine and service was good. We had an appetizer of the Southwest rolls and they were tasty with a fine sauce. The Haydens Ale was also tasty and with there tapper system must be the coldest beer around. The burgers came and that's when the wheels fell off. They were cooked well but they tasted as though they were dredged in salt. Not sure what "seasoning" they use but it tasted like all salt and nothing else. This destroyed the burger for me and took over the taste. My wife loves salt and didn't enjoy here burger due to the seasoning. Glad we used our gift card and will make sure no one purchases another one for us. Not sure we'll ever be back and that's disappointing as this is pretty close to home and easy to get to. We'll spend our money elsewhere.
I went there for lunch today with a friend for the first time. I ordered off the lunch menu for $6.95 I believe it was. I had the Cider Mill half sandwich and mac and cheese; my friend had the same sandwich and strawberry salad. The salad looked like it had been pulled off the speed rack from the walk-in. It didn't have the fluffy, just tossed appearance, but she still enjoyed it -- no garde manger working lunch apparently. I was slightly confused by the way the lunch special was worded but was told it was only me when asked if everyone gets it wrong. There's got to be a better, clearer way to explain what the options are (I'm sure I'm not the ONLY one confused). I was surprised when it arrived -- it looked like a kiddie meal. I expressed this to Lisa, the waitress, but she didn't seem to get it -- it was a polite suggestion that it really shouldn't 'seem' like a kiddie meal. The plate itself was minuscule with another equally minuscule bowl for the mac and cheese. The sandwich was really good but its presentation unappealing. It is an art to present something small and still have it look awesome. The mac and cheese was tasty too, but very soupy and lacking the breadcrumbs on top as listed on the menu. I don't like penne as their pasta selection. A huge macaroni would have been a good alternative. The server asked us how everything was AS she turned her head away to keep walking. My friend and I immediately looked at each other in shock. If you're going to ask, you'd better hang around and wait for the answer. The place is stunning -- modern, yet warm. I know it can probably get loud with the volume in there, but we didn't experience that. The carpet tiled floor should help with that. While lunch was 'meh, I've experienced better"', I will return to try dinner and hope for better presentation.

Sorry Hayden's.. I gave ya 3 chances. I really wanted to like you. I will say the wait staff that I have encountered has been super nice and helpful. Managers not so much. 1st time in - My boyfriend and I stopped in had a couple drinks and appetizers. The pickles were good. The jalapeno dip was far from it. The server warned us that she didn't think it was spicy. Seriously we wouldn't of known it was Jalapeno it lacked serious flavor. When we mentioned it to the manager he told us in flint people rave about the spiciness. Our drinks were ok. Nothing to rave about. 2nd time in- We took our friends son. Food came out super fast. I had chicken salad panini - totally flavorless. He had the Cherry Chicken and it was seriously like someone dumped pie filling on top of chicken. The boy had chicken tenders. Guess that was a safe choice, he was happy. 3rd time- My friend and I went for dinner and drinks. Our server was new, but nice. Our drinks took a long time at the bar. My martini was awful and I sent it back asking for top shelf. That was adjusted. Our food came out - I had a reuben, which tasted like the cornbeef was lunch meat, and the bread barely toasted. My friends Sirloin was unseasoned and poorly prepared. The food runner just dropped our food and didn't ask if we needed anything. (like condiments or a steak knife) So we ate half of our meal which was less then desirable and finally our server checked on us and brought us the items we asked for. No apology. Time for the bill. Well needless to say it was wrong so we had to yet wait longer for that to be corrected. While this was going on the Closing server was actually walking around with a spot light flash light checking the tables, chairs, and shakers for those servers leaving for the night. This was happening in front of the guests and she had no concern for the fact that she was shining the light in our eyes. Tacky to say the least. Every restaurant has closing detail. No need to make it apparent that it is more important to focus on that then the customers. Hayden's, I suggest you look at your practices and actually eat your own food if you want to make it. The Pro's- Nice wait staff, Nice Decor, Good Location, Good pricing.

My boyfriend Brian and I had worked all day so we were hungry. We thought we'd grab a bite to eat out in Canton since we would be in the area to stop by Ikea for a few things. As we drove down Ford Rd we saw your everyday chain restaurants and were not looking forward to eating at one of them. The day before we were just talking about how bad a lot of the franchise/chain restaurants had been. Food usually never tastes fresh anymore and the staff doesn't really seem to care about the wow factor! We tend to prefer your family owned, good cooking, friendly places. We saw Hayden's and it looked nice so we thought we'd give it a whirl. As we walked in I immediately commented to Brian on how nice the decor was. Very clean, not a spot anywhere, chic color scheme, and nice lighting. A friendly hostess greeted and seated us and said that Mike would be our server and that he would be to our table shortly. We continued to compliment on our surrounding atmosphere. Mike came over, greeted and thanked us for coming in and placed a card, almost like a business card on our table with his name in it. He was pleasant, well kept, and friendly. He took our drink order and gave us a minute to browse through the nicely laid out menu. I was very surprised by the prices.... Looking around and seeing the staff, you would think that the prices would be higher! Brian and I had decided on the artichoke dip for an appetizer, but couldn't decided on what to eat for dinner since it looked like there were so many good choices! We always ask the waitstaff what they like or would suggest to us for being first timers. So we asked Mike what he thought. He asked what we were in the mood for; chicken, beef, pasta, fish, etc. Then he listed quite a few things that he liked and that his customers have ordered and have enjoyed. We each ordered something different that he had suggested. Mike never forgot a thing, the food was fabulous, the drinks were very tasty, and his timing was perfect every time! We have been back a few times since then and still continue to enjoy the food and the staff. If you are in Canton, you should try Hayden's and ask for Mike!

My husband and I celebrated our 27th Anniversary at Hayden's. This was our first trip. I was really impressed with the menu and got excited when I saw they had grouper. (So hard to find). We started out with grouper fingers with a chipotle tartar sauce. Oh man! We then shared a bowl of their potato soup topped with cheese, bacon and green onions. Oh man, again! We then shared a Chef salad which was plenty for both of us. We skipped the main entree items to make room for dessert. The homemade belgian waffle with a scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce was awesome. Very different. They had no problem with us sharing and even doled out in separate servings for us. Service was great. Kinda pricey, but well worth it in my opinion. They like to feed you here. :) I think I have a new favorite!

(3)Jor F.

(5)Candace L.

(5)Steph W.

(5)Emily G.
(3)Sheri O.
(5)Jason O.

(5)Amy D.
Been wanting to try this place. The inside was nice. The food was delicious. Drinks were tasty but a little pricey. Our service sucked!! I am a server and this girl was mia the whole visit. I will still try it again but they should step up the wait staff a bit.

Got the combination appetizer platter with coconut shrimp, fried mozzarella and the jalapeño dip. All extremely disappointing. The dip was lukewarm. Expected the entrées to make up for it but fail again. I had the cajun chicken pasta and my boyfriend had the steak and salmon with a ceaser salad. We shared everything. The cajun chicken pasta was not even warm. When the server took it to warm it up, it somehow came backed colder! We ordered the steak medium and it was definitely well done. Felt like we were eating brisket. Blah. Had no taste to it either. Definitely won't be coming back.

(2)Khalid M.

(4)Jennifer B.
(5)Kris A.
(2)Cristina P.

(3)Jeanette M.
First, you MUST try the fried pickles and the flight of martinis. The Dirty Bird martini is fantastic and Alana was a fantastic server. She hustles! Hard worker. She should get a raise! I will definitely be back!
(5)Amy S.
(5)Kate S.
(5)Heidi R.
Love this place. The tenderloin toppers are amazing. I love the upscale and classy feel even though it is causal and not horribly expensive.
(5)Margaret V.
(4)Gerry C.
(2)Jason W.
(4)Michelle T.
The drinks are really good here. But the food is over priced for what your getting. There was nothing special about their food that is going to make me come back for more.
(3)Nikki P.
(2)Michael L.
(2)Mark G.
(3)Ammi W.
(3)Jessica S.
(2)Sam T.
I started out liking this place in the bar with the Martini Flight. It was all downhill from there. Dinner was poor in every way. Still had high hopes for dessert. Everyone else went for the deep fried Oreos, I opted for the Creme Brulee. First time in my life I have ever disliked Creme Brûlée in fact it was so lousy and weird tasting I couldn't eat it. Just can't recommend this place. We won't be going back
(1)Rafael M.
I voted I did not like Hayden's but the vote was all regarding the slow and bad service we recieved. All our food was very good but we had to ask Daniel, our server, various times for water, extra dressings, plates, drinks. He seemed very overwhelmed and the restaurant did not seem busy.
(3)Natasha K.

(5)Chris B.
(4)Charles G.

(4)Brenda M.
(3)Bruce F.
(2)Doug A.
(4)Joshua B.
Not the greatest food in a forgettable part of metro Detroit. May have better potential as a sports bar, but they try too hard with their food and it is just down right not good.
(2)S Christine S.

(5)Leah R.

Great food and great service, lots of menu choices and reasonable prices! Cajun chicken pasta excellent and banana split martini to die for!

I'm not sure how long Hayden's been there to replace the previous restaurant, but I'm glad it did replace the old restaurant. I don't know about giving Hayden's "As good as it gets", but it's pretty dang close, and you absolutely have to go and try the Ultimate Mac n Cheese. Had I known how good it'd turn out to be, I would've just gotten that and skipped the grilled pork chop all together. Don't get me wrong, the pork chops were well-seasoned and tender, but it is not Ultimate Mac n Cheese great. I can confidently say this goes in my list of Top 3 best mac n cheese ever. Here's the simple description, "Six cheeses and bacon crumbs tossed with our penne pasta and topped with toasted bread crumbs". It was gooey, the penne was al dente, and the bacon was crispy. I added a little bit of cracked black pepper to give it a little kick, but that's it. The staff was super friendly and attentive, the décor is modern, but not stuffy. You should definitely give it a try.

(5)Dare W.
The burgers are to die for. Friendly staff and great bartenders. Try their house beer on tap.
(5)Hymae W.

I've had good food and bad food. Along with some brown lettuce. Will never be a first choice.

Great menu selection and the food was delicious.

(2)Michael B.
EXCELLENT! Great service, great food, no problem with substituting. Fair portions- not too large, not too small. I have no complaints about this place whatsoever and I am very picky!
(5)Sherice Z.
My girlfriend and I had a long over due girls night out here tonight! We both had fish tacos. I had mine minus the lettuce and add coleslaw omg was it amazing!!! She had sweet potato fries with her meal and I had the veggie blend. Service was beyond amazing, Tom our server was funny, polite, curious and made sure we were well taken care of. We had the fried pickles for our appetizer and coffee Creme brûlée, which is a seasonal item. That coffee Creme brûlée was out of this world! I love the idea of seasonal items, keeps things fresh and new. I do wish they had a fruitier option for dessert but I won't count stars against that. Food was served hot, fresh and fast!! I can not wait to go back!! I will be getting fish tacos again, I don't care what anyone thinks. I'm thinking of them right now! Lol. They give you large portions too. Thanks Hayden's for a great night out!!

(3)Michele H.
I would recommend eating here. Good size menu. My husband tried the pork chops - they were pretty good. I had the chicken parmesan and it was okay. Want to try something with the bourban cherry sauce. That tastes good.
(4)Erin H.
(4)Monty W.
(5)Jon I.
There is not one bad thing on the menu. Try the Pico de Gallo Burger! It was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Happy hour specials are also very reasonable.
(5)C E.
(3)Dj M.

Upper scale feel with lower scale pricing. We've returned again and again and haven't found a thing we didn't like. The Jalapeño dip is tasty!

A recent Friday was our third visit to this inviting restaurant. The first time was good; second was totally awesome, and the third one was like, "woah, what happened?" The appetizer that should have been piping hot came out cold, my wife's fish parmesan breaded entrée wasn't as good as the last time, and their famous waffle dessert was almost cold and way too bready--nowhere near as good as the second time we were there when we had that plus the fried twinkie. Hard to know what the change was, though someone speculated that it's maybe a kitchen staff change. I think we'll give them another chance, but it's probably the last if things don't improve. We definitely thought third time around showed a decline, which was so disappointing because the previous visit was so great. We got the appetizer situation somewhat resolved, and the restaurant did try to make things right, but we didn't even mention anything about the entrée and dessert, because one fuss per meal was enough.

Salmon was great, but the rice and veggies were over cooked and cold . Our server was really nice, but for the price I was not impressed.
