Probably a 3.5, and that's solely based on the food. I can't bring myself to give the extra star though. Note- this is only for carry out (you can really only do carry out, unless you want to eat a quick slice at one of the 3 tables). I actually heard on the radio that this place was doing a Wed. special- "$7 large 2-item deep dish pizza". This place is about .5 miles from my house, so I figured why not. When I called in my order, I was asking the person on the phone about their Wed. special, and they seemed pretty clueless about it. I then specified the deep dish special and suddenly it sunk in (uhm.... not starting out so hot). Ended up ordering your standard pepperoni and sausage. They asked if we wanted to do flavored crust, so we tried butter cheese (if you're going to be unhealthy, go for the gold). 15-20 minutes later, I drive over to go pick up my order. The person before me seemed upset as they forgot to put a topping on their pizza, and they had returned to have their order corrected (yeah, definitely not feeling good about this place). When my turn came, I gave them my name on the order. They were just putting it in the box and cutting it up. They handed me the box, and surprisingly, it was not that hot (at this point I'm thinking it was only a $7 investment). Got home and opened it up. Sausage looked alright and pepperoni looked pretty standard. As I took my first bite, I was pleasantly surprised by the dough. It had a nice chew to it, and considering it was only a $7 pizza, the pizza was pretty heavy on the cheese. About 4 slices later, I had forgotten all about my unpleasant ordering experience. OVERALL- Pretty darn good, especially for the price. I don't know if I'd order outside of Wed. (prices seemed a bit on the high side), but it is a pretty decent quality pizza (maybe just a little behind Jets). This place also does broasted chicken dinners. I doubt I would ever order chicken from here, but it is an option. CELEBRITY RATING- Reggie Bush TIP- if you follow them on twitter or facebook, you can get 10% off your order.

When my garbage can gets hungry, this is where I get my pizza. To make the situation even more pleasurable, the staff is surly and completely detached from the concept of providing a quality experience. So much for buying local. No more small chains.

I have tried to give this place a couple of chances and now I don't think I will be back again. Pros: broasted chicken, pizza, ranch, garlic BBQ sauce, wings and delivery isn't terrible. Cons: customer service sucks! They "manager" is clueless. Ordered online for delivery, website states that chicken dinner comes with steak fries and breadsticks. Someone even called to clarify our order and what sauces we wanted. (I was impressed at the time) Order was delivered and came with steak fries and cole slaw. When I called the restaurant to clarify my order, the "manager" told me that the online menu is not what they follow in the store. When I questioned her all she could say was "yea, I don't know what the online menu says" and then she ended it with "well I'm sorry". Her apology was far from genuine and was actually quite insulting. Goodbye Dolly.

Visited the Dolly's Pizza that just opened up next door to Super Fine Wine and Liquore on Haggerty and was brought in by the Grand Opening Special from the flyers they mailed to us. Had a simple $7 large pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms just in time for the U-M basketball game on Sunday... ordered with butter cheese crust. I went and picked it up as I needed to get some beer as well. Definitely a quality pizza- piping hot and delicious, crust chewy yet still crispy and cheesy. Could have been more than the 3 pepperonis per slice, but when it's a deal like 6.99 for a large, it is what it is and it fed both me and my wife for just 3.50 + change each... not a bad bargain at all. I would say the round is a cross between hungry howies and jet's. Good flavored crust, but thicker and more breadlike than HH. Definite plus: directly next door to liquor store, which can supply needed beer and snacks. Definite minus: there's about 5 to 6 other pizzeria's within the same 2 mile radius and it just doesn't have anything that would make it stand out. Sounds like delivery is iffy at best. Definitely would order again, as long as the grand opening special doesn't run out.

Dear Dolly's, Pizzeria-ing. You're not doing it right. I ordered this afternoon and was told that my delivery would take 25-30 minutes. An hour after I placed my phone call, I received a call from your delivery girl asking for me to spell my street because it wasn't going into her GPS. She showed up shortly thereafter. Having worked in a pizzeria for six years, I can tell that you know absolutely nothing about timing your deliveries. It was obvious that my order was put in the oven as soon as I called and sat in your store for the 40 minutes before it left. My pizza was barely lukewarm. Being breaded, the wings were soggy and needed to be microwaved. The only decent thing was the grinder...probably because you wrapped it in foil. All-in-all, a huge disappointment. I decided to indulge in your food on my "cheat day" this week. There are so many better options in the area that I am angry with myself for not choosing one of those. I was sucked in by your Grand Opening Special and completely regret my decision to order from you. I should have gone with chinese, damn it. Welcome to the area, Dolly's. I'm sure your stay will be brief. You've definitely gotten your last dollar out of me. I realize that I could have called to complain and you probably would have offered me a free pizza or something to that effect, but it took no time at all for me to make my decision to cut ties with you permanently. Plus, it's much more fun to put you on blast on Yelp. Your staff was friendly and the grinder was good, so you've earned yourself a second star. Other than that...good luck. Regards, Joe

I was so excited to see the new Dolly's opening in Canton!! Unfortunately, the service and the food was poor. The person on the phone was rude and completely uninformed about the products offered. Our order of 4 grinders took 40 minutes to complete, and when it was finally ready, they were terrible. The bread was mushy and only mildly warm, they were poorly assembled and basically falling apart. Nothing in comparison the the Dolly's I've had in the past. So disappointed. And for 40 bucks for a few sandwiches, I'll never waste my money there again.

Seen this place was under new management. Thought I would give it a try. It was very clean. The girl that waited on me was friendly and also helpful. They have a nice menu with good lunch deals during the week. Pizza was as good or better than most chain pizza places. Tasty and crust was chewy. I am a senior and have became very picky. Guess none of our food is as good as it was years back. Do think you guys in Canton should give the place a try. It is worth the trip......... This place is for mostly take out.

We've ordered from Dolly's a couple of times now, wanted to try a new place for pizza just to have another option from all the regular chain places around. I wanted to try their deep dish pizza, my wife wanted ribs, I called in our order and it was ready right in the amount of time they told us. The pizza and ribs were all very good and fairly priced. The second time we ordered my wife again got the rib dinner (with potato wedges and bread sticks) and I ordered a grinder. Again the ribs were very good as were the potato wedges and bread sticks. However a dipping sauce would be good to throw in with the bread. In fairness I forgot to ask about it though, and have a feeling they would add it if asked. The Italian Grinder I got was great and it's nice to know there is somewhere closer than Riverview Pizza Place to get a great sub / grinder if I want one. The staff has been very friendly and helpful each time we've ordered as well and really appreciate the business. Along w/ Jets we'll probably stick with Dolly's as the two places we'll order from when we want pizza (or ribs or a grinder) and forget about all the other pizza establishments around. Dolly's staff is much friendlier though than Jets so that will help a lot when making a decision on where to order from. As mentioned in another review it is a plus that it's next to a great liquor store.

Super clean and very nice staff. My cheese and pepperoni was piping hot and my family loved the sauce! The grinders are fresh, DELICIOUS and incredibly big for the price. Nice, convenient alternative. Way better than Jets.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
