I have to agree with some of the other comments. You'll come here because the food is just delicious. The butter chicken and samosas were delightful. I look forward to coming back here the next time I get a craving for Indian food. It's worth the drive!

Went for lunch today, the buffet food were cold, taste was kind of okay. The turn off was the service, we requested to bring some tandoori chicken and gulab jamuns since the tray was empty, but was never delivered. I believe there are many other good asian restaurants in this area so I will not have to worry about coming back here.

Don't like the fact they are closed Tuesday. service is inconsistent, Naan sometimes are burnt, and unless I remind them not to. Love the Chaat Papdi but the quantity now is less than they use to serve. Chicken Tikka isn't bad. I have not sit and eat there, always do a take out. so rating reflects that.

Food is really awesome. We ordered palak paneer. Naan comes complimantry with it. And both of them are really really awesome prepared in ghee. Its very tasty & reminds about restaurants we use to eat in india

The food was delicious!!!! They have a very large selection for the weekend buffet! I like that they have some spicy dishes and some mild as I am usually dining with a child. I will definitely be back!

Food: Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Curry were excellent. The Naan was cooked to PERFECTION! The battered and fried peppers I had as an appetizer were just okay. Service: Terrible. The waittress didn't take down our order right so one of the people I was dining with had to wait about 15 minutes after she got her meal to get the rice she ordered with it. It also took forever to get refills on our drinks. We had to wait forever to get the bill so one member of our party had to go to the cash register to get it. They don't split checks. Price: The dinner entrees were about $12 each and I've had comparable food at other Indian places where you get more for your money. It was a medium to small portion for dinner. Overall: I would possibly do take-out because the food was good but I probably wouldn't dine in again because of the bad service. They had a now hiring sign on the door so they were probably just short staffed.

Run by very friendly owners, we are always greeted with a smile. They are still serving up an amazing buffet with a great selection, especially on the weekend. The curry chicken, chicken 65, chicken Biryani, and butter chicken were very good, outperforming other local Indian establishments. I very much appreciated the chili peppers that were available today, which allowed me to ramp up the heat. the paneer was good as usual, and the naan is so much better than the places that serve the store bought versions. I have now eaten here probably 6-7 times and look forward to doing it again. I almost forgot to mention that the service is really good.

My son and I went there on Saturday. Unbeknownst to me, we arrived 20 mins before they opened. The waiter asked, if we were ordering from the menu or doing their buffet. I said that we would be doing the buffet. He said in that case, you can start your lunch, but please know that there are still some dishes missing from the buffet, since it is not noon, yet. No troubles. I was just happy we could start our lunch early. They had numerous selections, mostly veg. I thought their spice mixture was at a good level. The heat level was low. My son couldn't take the heat level of the dishes. So he enjoyed the tandoori chicken, white rice, pakoras and the naan bread. Especially, the naan bread. He ate four pieces. I thought the tandoori chicken was good, the butter chicken was pretty good. The briyani, not too bad. The chana masala - flavorful. The goat curry was good but tasted more like a Mexican chili instead of Indian spices. In a previous comment, someone said they used beef. Not the case this time. All-in-all, not the worst place not the best place. I think with some work on their recipes, and overall restaurant coordination, this place has the potential to be better. It seems strange that a place would open for lunch at noon. Opening a little earlier for lunch, one would think there would be more business. Finally, you can't beat the price of their buffet. For my son and I, plus a mango lassie, the bill was only $12.55.

Give them a minute to settle in. This Saturday was terribly disorganized. Mistakes made, lots of items unavailable. Shame as I was quite excited to try everything. Things were seemingly just thrown together. Flavors were bland or a tad off. Meat products I had were tough. Just seemed like a rush job overall. Staff was very flustered and in over their heads. Sad. I will return in a few weeks to update.

We visited and ordered few items, below are our findings: Chat papri - delicious and tasted fresh. Veg Hakka Noodles - had too much oil, less vegetables and tomatoes ( no Induan chinese has tomatoes), not authentic. Veg Indian Chinese rice: only rice and very few vegetables. Not authentic taste. Baigan Bharta- had cream in it. Not authentic and no taste. Makgani daal- you will get better daal in Gurudwara, watery and no taste. Makhani Paneer - very bland taste. Overall it the food did not have any spices at all.

Delhi Hut is severely underrated on yelp. Best Indian food in the Canton-Plymouth area. It rivals Ann Arbor for Indian eats as well. The owners know me by now and easily accommodate my serious gluten allergy. They do a great job of keeping any gluten-containing items and utensils separate from a gluten free order, and I've never had an adverse reaction after eating here. The service is quick for dine-in and take-out orders. Menu: The Tandoori Mixed Grill is outstanding. I'm also a huge fan of the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chana Dal, Gobi dishes, Vindaloos.... I haven't had a bad or mediocre dish yet. Thanks, Delhi Hut!

Best in the area. We've had both takeout and the weekend buffet and both options were great. Good flavors, spice-heat levels were much higher in the takeout. Buffet variety was awesome. We will definitely be using this venue to introduce our family to Indian food. Lots of bread options (plus fresh dosa to order), pakora, several different veg and chicken dishes (one goat dish as well), fruit, dessert, etc.

I've never been, ordered a korma, which are generally sweet and spicy, but was all salt paste. Not good. At all.

Went there on Saturday. Its a good looking place but it was completely empty. After I ate the food, that's when I knew why no one comes here.

It's ok! Went there for the lunch buffet, less variety. Food was not that great, but everything was clean. Roti/nan was very soft and good.

Lying is the worst of sins and unforgivable when it involves FOOD!!! Yesterday, my family and I placed a pick up order of butter chicken and lamb rogan josh...only to discover the "lamb" was actually BEEF!!!! I was duped in the worst way and will never go back to this place. I've heard rumors about Indian restaurants using beef instead of lamb due to cost but never experienced it first hand. The entrees were bland with hardly any spice or flavor. Heck I make tastier Indian food. I do not recommend this place to anyone including my worst enemies.

The food at Delhi Hut is just OK. I've given it a chance three times, and I don't think I"ll be back. It's not nearly as good as Ashoka, and only slightly less expensive, so I don't anticipate ever choosing to go here again. Indian food is my favorite cuisine, and I always judge a restaurant based on their ability to make my favorite dishes: Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, and Paneer Tikka Masala. I only tried Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken here, and every time they were sub-par compared to what I've come to expect from visiting various other restaurants in Canton and Ann Arbor (Ashoka, Raja-Rani, Taste of India Suvai, etc.) If you're in Canton, I recommend heading to Ashoka Indian Cuisine or Neehee's instead.

This building has been 4 restaurants in the past 10 years. Coney islands, Chinese or something. The Indian version has been around for a year. But it's under a new multi family owned management for a couple of months or so. Had dinner there for the first time and got the scoop from the waiter. The staff is new and inexperienced and a bit slow, which is fun to watch. But once you get passed that, the food is great. I have gone back at lunch time to try the buffet which was also great.

I stopped in for lunch and saw they had a lunch buffet. I decided to try the take out buffet for only $7.50 or so. Everything was very good and I will definitely be going back. Sorry I don't have the names of what was available but worth a try.

Excellent food freshly prepared. Even though service was good it was slow. But the food was worth waiting for.

I was there on the first day as well, and while I agree that they need some time to settle in, I really liked the food. I had the Delhi samosa and puri choley, and a taste of my friend's dal makhani. It was all very fresh and flavorful. Comparing it to Neehee's down the road, I thought it had a lot better consistency in the texture, both of the samosa and the choley. Perhaps it was a misstep for them to publicize the menu online before the opening. If you went in the first day expecting a certain item on the menu, you were likely disappointed. For me, that was just a reminder of India, where restaurants so often have to adjust their menu daily. Whether this is acceptable in America--well, that's up for debate. But I think the first-day customers might have been happier if they didn't have expectations for particular items that weren't available. In my experience, the fast-food-style service was friendly but disorganized. The counter process could be streamlined, and likely will as the staff gets more aware. Those who brought the food to our table weren't always sure of what they were bringing, which made it a little tricky to figure out whose was whose. But that was all a prelude to the food, which I found entirely satisfying. I'd certainly go again.

I used to not like the food here but apparently they changed the chef recently and the food is just amazing. This is the second time I am trying the buffet here and honestly, this is the best buffet in Michigan. Other Indian places around here are just over rated.
