We went to Chili's last week and had the dinner for two with an appetizer for $20. The guacamole dip was excellent and served with their hot thin tortilla chips and salsa. We had ribs with the sweet and tangy sauce and the chicken fajita which were both very good. The molten chocolate cake desert was excellent and they brewed a fresh pot of coffee. The service might have been just a little slower than we like, but not too bad. We have been to Chili's quite a few times over the years and I don't recall any bad meals or experiences. I'm going with three stars based on waiting time for the main course on this occasion.

I have a rule about Chilis. There are two things I consistently like there, chips and salsa and a southwest eggroll appetizer, both are horrid for my arteries but actually consistently tasty. The fajitas are bland but the safest bet dinner wise. Ok I also like the cheap ass margarita I will fess up. Everything else in here is really iffy. Sorry if that offends the Chili's fans of the world. My non foodie husband, of course, adores it here so we have stopped in here on odd occasions. We went once a couple of months ago with some friends of his who also love it. It took them over a month to actually put through the charge on his personal debit card, silly man should have used our joint account or real credit card as he never puts much into his personal account. Yeah ummm bounce city. It is ridiculous. A subpar dinner's bill somehow managed to bounce three other things. Nice. Called them and they insisted that no way this could have happened as they do the stuff daily, so I offered to show them the printout as well as the reciept as I am one who saves them. They told me tales about how people have said the charges go through before they even get home...yeah well my husband's did not and personally that is all I am talking about. They kept both of us on the phone combined for fifteen minutes. They insisted they would investigate and get back to us. Did they? Of course not. Lame. Did we ever get anything in return for their huge mistake that cost us plenty to straighten out? Hell no. The upside? I will not have to come here anymore :). Hey I was nice, I gave them a chance to work it out, obviously at this point they have no intentions of doing so, I felt other people should be warned. I would avoid using a debit card in here, frankly I would just avoid eating here

I haven't been to Chili's in forever! Seems like they re-vamped the menu! Service was great and nice. Any employee that you passed smiled or said hello to you. I had the guacamole turkey burger and I would order it again. They make their own pickles slices and it definitely has a kick to it. The new tablets at the tables are neat. You can pay for your bill at the end, re-order drinks and even play games for a small price. The thing is, when you rate your experience at the end, it foreshadows the waitress' schedule. We made sure that our waitress will be working next week.

We enjoyed the table side guacamole and I had a delicious margarita with fresh pineapple and blueberries. Also cool is the monitor on the table that allows you to pay your bill with a gift card or credit card and cash out without waiting for the server.

Salsa was watered down, did not v want to stick to the chips. Server was indifferent to the issue said it was made in batches, she did comp the chips and salsa. Come was watered down. Had the appetizer trio with chicken strips, were doughy.

I am a bit stubborn. So, when we decided to go to Chili's for lunch, I was telling myself that even though there were bad reviews on Yelp for this location, it was going to be different for me. It was early lunch. Everything was going to be fine. It wasn't. The hostess spent 3-4 minutes with every table telling them how there was a complete "reimaging" and "rebranding" coming soon. It was super annoying to keep hearing the same rehearsed speech as she sat every single table. Our server was ok. Food came out not as ordered, and she was busy with other tables, so Dave got up and went to the kitchen to ask for the sauce he wanted. The manager on duty did come to the table and apologize, comp my order, and give free appetizer coupons. My big issue with this location is that it is filthy. That's a management issue. The floor, tables, and chairs were all really, really gross. My menu had long hair stuck on every page. Ick. So, yeah, they are going to remodel and get all new tables and chairs. That doesn't mean you stop cleaning the ones in use. Hopefully, they will learn to work out a cleaning schedule or hire a janitorial company to keep up the new decor.

Out of the many chain restaurants serving average American fare, Chili's is usually my favorite. Everyone knows from either going there, or from the commercials, what they serve and what they're all about. It's usually pretty tasty, especially their salads. This location was down a few pegs from any other Chili's I've been too. Just a little dirty...slow service...we had 3 people waiting our table over the course of an hour visit. Confusing and unnecessary....and our food was still really slow. I brached out from my usual salad and ordered a pasta dish which was dissappointing. I don't frequent Chili's by any means, but if I do again it likely won't be this location.

People on Yelp always seem to hate on Chili's, I am not one of them. I have been to only a few Chili's locations in my lifetime and have never had a bad experience, in fact, I can say they have all been good. Stopped at thiis location today after an extremely competative golf session (at Sportway in Westland - awesome place BTW) and thought it was awesome. We were immediately seated and were served drinks in a blink of an eye. MENU - Menu was perfect. Great specials, easy to read, options for every type of eater. Anyone who comes here will be pleased. Servers - Our server was training a new waitress. She was on the ball. Great waitress! I know training can be a hassle, but our lady was on the ball.....not a surprise that they had a great server training a newbie. They made sure we were happy, our tables were cleared, and our unlimited chips appetizer and drinks were filled at all times. Entertainment - You don't go to Chili's for Entertainment.....but possibly you can, they had TVs all over with a variety of programming, also a table electronic game people can play (but I didn't because the food was so tasty and the beers were yummy and cold. Food - Deciding upon the cajun shrimp pasta, smothered burrito special, and enchiladas was a hard choice. I took the Cajun Shrimp Pasta. After ordering I was thinking, man, why did I order that, but then when it came, I was like, damn! I'm glad I ordered this. I ate the whole thing, yum. It wasn't as spicy as I would hope for Cajun, but it did fill me up and it did taste good. The free entree bread was a thick slice of crispy buttered Texas Toast, unfortunately, it wasn't garlic bread like you'ld get with most pasta dishes elsewhere, but hey, it's Chili's....still ate the whole thing. Only thing that kinda bummed me out was that this entree didn't come with a salad. That's fine, I can live with that, but yeah, no pre-game salad. It's fine. Overall - I was very happy with my experience, service and staff rocked, food was yummy, place was clean and it was a happy time. At the end of the day, many restaurants make changes. Unlike Applebee's Menu Changes, Chili's actually worked and worked really well. Love what they have done, and I love this location. They have good food and a good staff. Congrats - Fistbumps for all :D PS - Them bottomless chips though!

Kick ass server!! Elise was awesome. I had some sort of bacon, smokehouse, avocado, onion ring, BBQ sauce, blah, blah, blah, burger. Despite my A-hole description of it, it was really damn good. We had the fried pickles as an appetizer. They were almost perfect. They needed a bit more breading. But the star of the show was our waitress, Elise. She was great. One of the nicest, most intuitive servers I've ever met.

My mom and I went out for Easter dinner here. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. The host sat us and explained the ziosk which is awesome! Then we sat at the table for about 5-10 min and no waiter came to greet us. Finally Steve came over and told us he would get our drink order but he was being cut so we might not be the one taking care of us. After he brought our drinks over another 5 or so minutes went by and Steve came back over to check how our drinks were and they were delicious. But we still didn't have a waiter and we were ready to order! Steve told us that he would stay later to take care of us. He was such a sweetheart! We were thinking about leaving but Steve was awesome and made our dinner enjoyable! I will only ask for him when I'm here!

Well I agree with Liz W. That the fajitas are the safer bet here! We had the "2 for $20" dinner items. We both had the fajitas! Now I made my hubby switch with me because he honestly couldn't have cared a less if he eats chicken or the pork fajitas! I was going to have the chicken ones until I saw them & they look as if they'd come out if a cookie cutter! They were all molded the same size & they were rubbery! My husband had gotten the pork and it just looked a bit better so I ate his and still only ate one fajita! My friends got the "something something chicken with rice"! Well they've now changed the rice from a great tasting "Spanish"type to a "mushy gushy" type! They did not like the new rice and the waiter actually asked us!! We had the toffee brownie with ice cream for dessert and we shared it! It was pretty good but sooo sickening sweet that I'm not sure I'd ever get that again either! What saved the day was our great waiter "Dave"! Having him wait on us was the hi-light of our visit to Chilli's in Canton Michigan tonight!! Oh and I didn't want to miss adding that we asked to sit on the bright and sunny side of the restaurant. The host told us "No!" I gave it 3 stars for all around food & experience...but if I could I would give our waiter, Dave, "5" stars! He was conscientious and quite awesome!!

After an afternoon at the auto show we decided we should eat before heading over to Ikea. We arrived at this location around 5pm on a Tuesday. They were not busy at all...so either this location isn't popular, or we beat the evening rush. When we walked in there was no one at the hostess stand. So we waited, and waited, and waited. Finally this less than friendly girl comes out of the back room and asks how many. Now, we finally were getting a table, but an apology for the wait would have been nice. Also, asking if we wanted to sit in the bar would have been nice too...but neither happened. So, she sat us in the bar. My dad, who did not want to sit at the bar, asked to move tables...and the girl acted like this was the worst thing anyone has ever asked her for. But, she moved us to the dining room. Things started to turn around with our waitress. She was a very friendly, upbeat woman who sadly I don't remember her name. She took our drink order and was just overall very prompt with taking care of us. Not only was she friendly and upbeat but she had a personality as well. She never once came across as a "robot" or that she didn't care about life. She answered any questions that we had, and got our order correct. Sounds crazy that I would bring that up, but so many places get orders wrong, especially if there is more than 2 people at the table. She loaded us up with some chips and salsa while we waited for our main meal. The chips never ran out either as she paid attention and asked if we wanted more. When our food came out it was hot, and had good flavor. The two steaks that were ordered were cooked correctly. Even the broccoli was cooked correctly (though could have used a little more butter/seasoning). Our drinks never ran out and everyone truly enjoyed their meal. Before dropping the check off she asked if we wanted anything else, and convinced the fatty in me to get the chocolate lava cake for dessert (I shared, but secretly wanted it all for myself). Despite the rocky start when we walked in, this was a good location and if I was in the Canton area again would definitely return.

Nothing at home sounded good, so I took my husband out for dinner. I had never been to the Chili's in Canton and was impressed with the food and service we received. I ended up getting the cajun pasta with shrimp instead of chicken and a side salad. The shrimp and side salad were an additional charge. The pasta was delicious. The sauce was light and was a nice compliment to the cajun seasoning on the shrimp. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and not over done or tough! My husband had a ribeye with mashed potatoes and a side salad instead of the broccoli. The side salad was also an additional cost. He said that the steak was cooked perfectly. The portions for both of our meals was very generous (we're both having leftovers for dinner tonight). Our waiter and the hostess were very attentive and we received our food quickly. I'll visit again!

I have no idea where all of these negative reviews are coming from, but my wife and I had a fantastic experience at this Chilis restaurant. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us in a booth immediately. We were welcomed by our waiter and asked if we had used their Ziosk system before (which we had done so previously). He brought our drinks and appetizer out in a prompt and reasonable time frame, and our main courses followed right on time. The only problem we had with our entrees is that they were piping hot! We had to give them 30 seconds to a minute to cool off, which is really not a problem when many times food comes out late and less than a hot temperature. As we finished, the internet went down in the restaurant and the manager came over with the "emergency kit" and took care of our bill by hand. Our waiter was very attentive and apologetic. Did I mention that the wait staff that was not busy with customers was not standing by idly? My wife and I took note the staff was actually cleaning the tables and floors in between seatings. What a concept! All in all, great experience. So much so, I spent some time to write them a positive review. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family. 5 stars.

I had a gift card and happened to see their Fresh Mex commercial that struck a craving for Mexican, so I gave them a try. My takeout order consisted of a Southwest Pairing with a Chicken Quesadilla and a Beef Enchilada, which came with rice and beans. It came in a large container, which upon opening I was surprised at the small looking offerings. The rice was a tiny scoop in the corner, the enchilada was a puny roll, and the quesadilla was four tiny quarter circles. There was also no sour cream or anything else to lessen the overall dryness of the meal. Luckily I had also ordered chips and salsa, so the salsa could be used to add something to the extremely dry and overly heavy chicken laden quesadillas. I guess in my head I thought they would be the Santa Fe Chicken Quesadillas that are on the menu, but it was the one from the kid's menu with chicken added. The meat in the enchilada had a nice flavor, but the shell was like rubber and there was pretty much no cheese inside or out. It was edible but disappointing.

Arrived late on a Sunday. Nice welcoming staff. Sat right away at the bar. Good quick hot meal fast friendly service. Bartender was very accommodating with everyone to put requested games on the different TVs.
