Our first couple of times there, they weren't busy and we sat at the bar. We had great conversations with the folks behind the bar, talking about the space, the beers on tap and those getting ready to tap. It was great! I also discovered my new summer lover, Bundaberg Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic). Dang that's good! This last time we dropped in a busy Thursday evening. No space at the bar so we scored a low 2-top table. Ken had to order from the end of the bar, and the bartenders were too busy for any extraneous chit chat. It happens, and we may have cared about it slightly if we hadn't already chatted up the bartenders previously. We knew what we wanted - they let you order any number of sampler sized glasses all the way up to full sized glasses. They have 6-7 of their own beers on tap at any time. Light through dark and everything in between (their latest Saison was tasty!) They also carry various sodas for those visiting DDs/non-drinkers. Small amount of bagged snacks on site, but you can have food delivered or bring in your own food. As of 07/02/15 they are still only open Thursday through Sunday. Call ahead to see if that's changed and to check hours. They will fill other bars' growlers and howlers. They have their own too if you need one. Parking is sufficient, a lot shared by the rest of the strip mall. The bar is large with seating for at least 12. They have a low tables too (maybe 8-10). They look to be adding a TV and some sound acoustic tiles to keep the noise down. Their beers are good enough to do a sample of all of them. I recommend bringing in Mediterranean or pizza from within the same strip mall or heading south to get Best China or Jersey Mike's to go then settle in to enjoy your food, beer and companions.

Rarely have I felt as unwelcome as I did on my first (and likely only) visit to Canton Brew Works. There is no table service, which removes the possibility of pleasant interaction with the staff. It didn't really matter, as none of the employees seemed as though they wanted us there. No greetings upon arrival, no checking-in to talk about the beer, no salutations upon leaving. No wonder hardly anyone was there. The sad thing is, the beer was really good. I had a 6-sample flight, and all, especially the French saison, were excellent. We ordered in some dinner from The Pizza Station next door, and that was great. But no one at Canton Brew Works seemed to care about our experience. Great beer, lousy service.

Came to have a drink with my husband. They had about 6 beers on tap. I hope they get some lager's. My husband had the Belgian Saison and said it was pretty good. I had the Shakedown Pale Ale. It was a little bitter, but good. Other the beer they offer coffee and soda's. The bar is on the smaller side, but they had stools at the table and several tables in the seating area. They don't have food, but have menu's of restaurants in the area that will deliver. I would come back, again!

This place is pretty much brand new. It's a result of a successful Kickstarter campaign. Unfortunately, it is still going through what new brew pubs usually go through-not so good beer. Three of us stopped here on a weekend afternoon. We ordered a Saison, and IPA and an Imperial IPA. None of them tasted finished. The Saison was very cloudy and never settled. The person who ordered is did not finish it. Both IPA styles tasted very odd, as well. Happily, the Imperial had the requisite effect. We did not have any more. The serve a few snacks and allow you to order delivery for more substantial food. This is fairly common. The place itself is small and in a strip mall. They did a nice job furnishing it, but it still has that brand new look. The staff was very nice and were happy to be in operation. I suspect that once they get their recipes properly converted from small home brewing batches to the larger system, they'll be fine. This, too, is not unusual.

Tasty, balanced, and distinctive beers. I really enjoyed the Belgian Saison. Canton Brew Works does not offer active table service or hot food. It reminds me slightly of the Corner Brewery (Ypsi) back in the day. With no active bar service I wish the pint prices were more competitive. Canton Brew Works lacks personality. However, that just may be growing pains.

Solid Beer. Great Staff. Nice Atmosphere. A welcome addition to the Canton bar scene. Can't wait for them to fill those journeyman distillery oak barrels.

The saison and stout are definite winners. Looking forward to trying more soon. Keep up the good work.
