I feel really terrible for leaving a 2 star review, I do not want to do this business any harm as the owner is genuinely a sweet person. However, the food business is tough. If you don't have extraordinary food with extraordinary service, you can't survive. THE GOOD: the owner really is a sweet lady trying her best to make the business succeed, however this is her first venture into the food business. The employees there do want your feedback and are very open to suggestions. The food has the potential to be good. There are certain things on the menu that were actually good, I think my wife really enjoyed the dahi puri. THE BAD: The wait time was horrible. There organization is a bit off. I don't think they can efficiently prepare food and get everyone the right order, especially when there is a big group of people that walks in. I'm not sure if this has changed, but I went with my family there was a big group of people and they were behind about 45 mins on orders. And it wasn't even that busy. The whole yelling "Sir" across the restaurant when your order is one just doesn't seem like a good idea. The wraps were just okay, not something enjoyed and not something I hated. The meat was a bit dry, it was meh. I really hope things change for this place and they have good luck with their business! But as of right now there is much improvement that needs to be made in all areas.

Awesome food..! Reminded me wrap place in front of RV college.. Lol.. Only thing lacking is the one most of the Indian places lack the ambience..

Amazing food... Paneer tikka wrap and paneer achari wrap are a must try... The owner is flexible to cater to your needs (eg. My daughter likes to eat plan paratha and that's not on the menu but owner has always willing catered to my daughters need without any fuss) and the staff is courteous too....

We ordered 2 wraps and had to wait for 50 minutes to get them and there were only 4 other customers. The wraps tasted mediocre at best. I wouldn't dine there again.

This place is a joke. The Good. The owner is a very sweet lady. Friendly person. Well that's about it..... Nothing to say about bad, the food is very average. Greasy! We ordered wada paav, some wraps. All premade reheated stuff. Food is served in napkin paper, literally. Very expensive for what we get here! When we went, Saturday evening we were the only customers. The owner said they will have pouring in customers after a few. Went back to the karate place after a while. She was sitting in one of the sinning tables and staring outside the window! And the cook boy was smoking outside.

Food is nice. Taste is nice...authentic bombay taste. Expensive as compared to quantity. Service is bad.

Great small place run by a family from Bombay. Delicious Vada pav, took me back home. Definitely a place to go if you are missing street food.

The concept seemed awesome, the execution was a bit lacking though. My wife and I came here on a random Sunday. As we walked in, we were immediately blinded by the neon colored paint they used for the interior (cheapest paint available)? Barely busy so my wife and I chatted up the owner for a little bit. She was very nice, though her sell on their freshly prepared food seemed a bit rehearsed. The wife and I each had a wrap. The wife got the chicken tikka wrap while I tried a lamb one. They were ok, but for the price i felt as though we should have just gotten chicken shwarmas. I know it's unfair to compare shwarma to indian food, but what they are offering is competing with shwarmas and the like, and I must say, shwarmas have won this battle. Given other better wrap like options in the area, I'm not likely to return. If I want my Indian fix, I have a few other options I'd rather get instead. Celebrity Rating- Big Sean

I placed an order online on their website and got 10% discount for ordering online. I called them multiple times to make sure the order went through but no one picked up the call. I called probably 5-6times. (Minus one star here) Anyhow, when i went to pickup the order and i was told they didn't receive any online orders since last 2 hours. When i told them why no one answered the call, the boy (I think he was owner Woman's son) very casually said that they have been swamped with an event going on in the neighborhood so they didn't care to pick up the call or had the courtesy to pick up and tell the customer that no phone orders are being entertained. (Lose 2 stars here) The owner lady was kind enough to offer me 2 of the 5 items i had ordered, which is the only reason i am giving more than one star. The food quality was good. (Gain 1 star) Also, because i had to reorder at the restaurant, i Did NOT get the 10% discount which i got when i ordered online but the owner lady offered Jalebi (indian dessert) on the house which was nice of her. I hope they learn from these reviews and avoid such treatment with other customers. Overall, I might go there again for food but not for service.

Since my Mom ordered me not to eat Non Vegetarian food for 10 days I was desperate to find good vegetarian food. Here I got paneer tikka & paneer achari wrap, pay bhaji, papdi chat, ragada patties. Trust me everything I mean it everything is Amazing here! Try it....

This place is a great find! We always go to neehe's and curry on crust when we are in the area but Bombay wraps is just as good; probably even better in some areas. The owner is a wonderful lady from Mumbai and is very nice to talk to. She takes personal interest in the food and was preparing some items herself. So we got top notch Mumbai street side food. Go for their wraps - the roti is so fresh, homemade and delightful to eat. We tried three of their wraps and all the fillings were very flavorful. The best was their vada pav and the owner was right when she said people from all over Michigan come to try her vada pav. Try this place and you'll not be disappointed!

From the minute I opened the door, I knew it was meant to be. The aroma made me want to order one of everything. I really is a 'whiff of India'. The menu is simply awesome. I mean, the wraps, what a great idea to use roti. I ordered veg biryani with regular spice. I want to keep the box it came in and smell it all day. It was absolutely delicious. Such wonderful flavors mixed together. It was a little spicy, but the good kind of spicy that doesn't burn your mouth. My husband got the chicken tikka wrap. It was sooooo yummy. My daughter got the cheesy aloo wrap from the kids menu. Even that tasted amazing. To drink, we got 2 mango lassis & a strawberry lassi. It was by far the best mango lassi I've had in Michigan. My daughter's strawberry lassi tasted so fresh & flavorful. Overall, I'll be back here a lot. Also I wanted to commend the staff on how fast I got my food. Indian food is really hard to make & easy to mess up, but we got the food within 10-15 of ordering and I would give the quality of the food a 10. My veg biryani would've messed up my car, but the super AWESOME staff wrapped the box in saran wrap. That was the most thoughtful, genius thing anyone could've done. They were so nice & friendly. It was nice to see them all smiling. *They only have bhel puri & pani puri on the weekends.

Much as I like to support small businesses and see them grow, this restaurant failed to get my vote. This place is a rip off. A chicken wrap that's the size of cannoli is $6.49,served in styrofoam plates and disposable glasses. and guess what, there is barely any chicken in that wrap.
(1)Ashwin M.
Get their vada pav. It's awesome! Only add I'd add is give pickled green chillies with it which would make it even better. Bombay wraps compares well with other Indian places in the area. The owner is a very nice lady and is passionate about what she serves to her customers.
(5)Syed M.
Achari chicken was superb. The lady at counter was sweet and the service is fast and good
(4)S E.
The masala tea was awesome. The lassi is thick and tasty. We had paneer wrap and aloo wrap. Both were tasty and seasoned well with whole wheat freshly made bread. The vegetables wee cooked perfectly. The vada Pav was Authentic. The owner was the main cook and made sure that the food was cooked to perfection.

I am hesitant to write this review as I do not want to do this business any harm - however, I decided to forge ahead in the hopes that my honest opinions and a little constructive criticism might help them improve this growing business. First of all, I want to say that the woman who took our order (and seemed to be the owner/head chef) was incredibly sweet and welcoming! You can tell she really cares about her business, the food and her customers. I have been very excited to try Bombay Wraps and had been trying to get there for a few weeks before I finally had the opportunity to try the food. Perhaps all the anticipation led to my slightly disappointing experience... Our order: Kheema Pau, Pau Bhaji, Chicken Tikka Wrap, Paneer Achaari Wrap and got 2 mango lassi. The KHEEMA... pretty good, I make keema at home a lot and have honed my recipe over time. It's always a crowd pleaser when I've made it for others - even those who don't have much exposure to Pakistani/Indian flavors. I just thought the Bombay Wraps version was a little dry and lacked a little flavor/salt - overall pretty good though. The PAU BHAJI... it was ok, but again I thought it was a little lacking in flavor when compared to a similar dish I've had at NeeHee. We ordered it 'medium' spicy but it was still a bit too hot for me, though that's just personal preference I guess, it had good texture though. The WRAPS... their prices vary but I thought the $5.99 price tag for the CHICKEN TIKKA WRAP was a bit steep give it's skinny/small size. It also surprised me that it had dry chicken inside, i.e. no familiar red/orange luscious sauce - the flavors were pretty good, but again, it needed salt and I just really missed that signature sauce! The PANEER ACHAARI WRAP... this one just didn't do it for me - we ordered it due to a recommendation from the aforementioned sweet and welcoming staff person (owner?) although the description on the menu didn't sound all that enticing. This wrap did end up lacking flavor and salt in my opinion and was just a bit dull. Overall I'd say that the portions were a bit small for the prices but not outrageous, and the salt and overall flavor/lusciousness/juiciness was a bit lacking... We also just walked in and placed a carry out order and it felt like it took quite a bit of time to get our food, we didn't time it but it felt like at least 20 minutes - which I thought was a bit long since I assumed this was more of a "fast casual" restaurant, so I would recommend calling ahead. However, I will go back and give this place another try because I REALLY want to like it and I love to support local businesses. I can't wait to try one of their special biryanis that they only serve on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Nice people that take great pride in their very fresh, on location hand made food. I don't quite understand the menu but I have ordered chicken and lamb dishes and the flavor has been great. It's hard to see from the road so don't drive past. It's worth the trip,
(4)Prasun R.
If you like Indian food and have slightest idea how Indian food tastes, then seriously don't go into this restaurant. We ordered chicken tikka egg wrap. We were served an egg wrap with fried chicken. I didn't know fried chicken was called chicken tikka. I'd rather starve than go back to this place.

Great food. The only problem is the wraps could become addictive. Very spicy so keep that in mind while ordering. The owner is very sweet.

Today, we discovered one of Canton's little known gems, kind of hidden amidst the crowd of Indian restaurants. For years, a lot many Indian restaurants in the US have been serving sub-standard food in the name of good Indian food. Secondly, most of those restaurants that actually serve good food are focused on either North Indian or South Indian cuisine. That's where Bombay Wraps comes along with its amazing West-Indian cuisine. Vada Pav, Mumbai and Maharashtra's staple diet is worth killing for. Its a delicious dish in which you take spicy curried potato, roll it in gram flour and fry it, and then eat it like an Indian version of the burger. Vada Pav is a close cousin of the veg samosa that all Indian restaurants in the US serve. Next we had some awesome papdi chaat, some delicious chilled mango lassi and some nicely prepared pav bhaji. But the dish of the day was the Ragda Pattice, a potato patty garnished with ragda or gram, and seasoned with a delicious mix of red and green chutneys. I am a very picky eater, and am eternally disappointed with the poor quality of food that Indian restaurants in the US serve. Bombay Wraps is a breath of fresh air. I dont give 5 stars if I dont enjoy the food. At Bombay Wraps, I just loved the food and will go back again and again

The owner is the cook.. This is a great place to have some homemade cooking - like mam's cook. Wraps or paratha all of them are great I have been there many times now. Chicken Tikka Wrap is the best. Place is big, plenty of space, right on Ford Rd ease access in and out, or sit down and enjoy the food.

This place is gonna eat my paycheck, seeing as how I work at the Meijer across the street. The chai tea was surprisingly good... rich, creamy and spicy. Nothing like the thin chai mix I attempt to make for myself. I got the No. 27 (Bhel), which is a sweet mix of crunchy rice things, potatoes, chutney made from dates and the always present cilantro. I've never had anything like it before and I will surely order it a million times in the future. Also got a chicken tikka wrap, made with delightfully spiced chicken. I was a bit weary of the green pepper presence in the wrap, but it goes nicely! The restaurant is clean, the menu has a nice selection, the lady who runs the place is friendly and helpful and the food is fresh. They source their meet from Saad meats in Canton, so it's guaranteed halal if that your preference. I'll be back, with my husband and friends in tow.
(5)Aditi S.
This place has very yummy vada pav!! Totally Mumbai style. Usually come here for it. Also the sabudana vada is great. Should certainly give it a shot. The service is good and friendly.
(5)Raghu K.
This is the worst place I have ever been so far. A lady who took my group order didn't prepare wraps even after 45 mins. When we double checked, she noticed that she forgot the order and said the order will be ready in next 5 mins while it took more than 30 mins. Overall we had to wait 1 hr 10 mins for 5 wraps. Wraps are crappy and zero worth the money. Taco Bell burritos are 100 times better than this. I think the place will be closed very soon. It's up-to you if anyone still would like to try it.
(1)Junaid M.
The wraps are authentic Indian spices and are served on a Indian style bread. The Indian spice tea is also very good. Definitely try the lassi. The customer service is great as well.
(5)Jennifer F.
We tried the restaurant for the first time tonight, and are looking forward to returning soon. The place was very clean, and the staff helpful and friendly. We tried the Manchurian Cauliflower Wrap, Paneer Achaari Wrap, Chicken Achaari Wrap, and the Reshmi Chicken Tikka Wrap. All were very good. My personal favorite was the Manchurian cauliflower. I especially liked that none of the food was greasy like a lot of Indian restaurants I've been to. The prices were quite reasonable. I would like to try everything on the menu eventually--everything looks good.
(5)Raj P.
45 minute wait is after ordering is unacceptable... Never Again
(1)Vaish J.
The worst place I have been to.. The lady has no courteousness yells at people.. Food was really burned..too much priced for the size... Our order was delayed by 45 mins as she forgot our order.. I will never go here again...

Conveniently located next to my son's karate studio... So I decided to check it out. Had a fantastic Aloo Wrap and strawberry smoothie. Definitely will be back for this reason. I usually love NeeHees (up the street) but never seem to find a 'to-go' option. Most of the food there is too sloppy not to mention the service most every time I've been there is terrible. Bombay-Wraps was incredibly welcoming, and asked how spicy I wanted it. I love the spice, but it's nice to know I have an option to tone it down if needed. Also, the food is very reasonably priced. So far so good! Keep it up! Can't wait to try everything on the menu!!
(5)U G.
We ordered the egg wraps, paneer achari wrap and mango lassi. Awesome food. We will be back. Great customer service too and reasonably priced.
(5)jim s.
I stumbled upon this place while shopping in the adjacent strip mall. Went in for a snack and tried the Aloo Wrap, which was prepared quickly. I thought it was absolutely delicious. It reminded me of a Samosa in wrap form. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.
(4)Shruthi R.
Bad management, unprofessional. Waited for 45 minutes for 2 simple dishes. Got meat in the vegetarian dish I ordered. Horrible service and deserves to be shut down. My rating : 0 Had to give it 1star since I couldn't give 0. I do not recommend this place.
(1)Rahul M.
I passed by this place last week during their closed times and was curious to see what kind of Indian restaurant this was. Luckily, this place was nearby my work. Prior to going, I visited their website where I saw the wide variety of rolls and other great food/drinks. I also noticed the price which was totally inexpensive. I entered the restaurant around 11:15am, just after their opening time. That explains why I was the only customer there. I ordered a chicken tikka roll and strawberry lassi to go. I went back to work and took a sip of the lassi and it tasted wonderful and simply fresh! I then took a bite at my roll, and it was delicious. I told them i wanted medium spicy, and the chicken was seasoned to perfection. I will definitely come back and try their other varieties. If this restaurant advertises properly, this will definitely be a hit just like Neehees/Curry On Crust. Also, make sure you keep your receipt b/c next time you visit this restaurant and you present your previous receipt, you will get 10% off your next order. You can't go wrong with that. I highly suggest everyone to check this place out. You will not be dissapointed. For those that don't know where this is, this is in the same location as the old Secretary of State office...in the same complex as O'Reilly's and The Sheik restaurant. Btw, customer service was just SUPERB...the lady in charge was extremely friendly and will definitely be stopping by again for their fantastic food!
(5)Amol B.
Food was just ok. But it is not even close to a restaurant place. People were adjusting tables on their own. No water tap again ask for a jug. Feel empty place. Coming to food. Wrap roti is not freshly made but comes from a frozen base. Tastes are fine but again the wrap is too small for the money spent. None of us felt full with the size served. One of the person got sick stomach with chicken wrap. A few dollars more I can be full in a Indian restaurant and even enough for takeout. For the same price, a chipotle burrito or Mediterranean pita wrap makes you more than full.
(2)John S.
Happened to chance upon this place and decided to give it a try. All I can say is that I am mighty glad that I did. The chicken tikka wrap is probably as good as it gets. Better than any Kati roll or Frankie places I have eaten anywhere in US. My wife had aloo mushroom wrap and she loved it too. The tea was just like the ones you make at home. Everything is fresh and made on the spot. Will be back here soon.

Visited for the first time today, after driving by multiple times while they were getting ready to open. I was greeted promptly, and all my questions were answered cheerfully. I tried the chicken chapatti wrap along with a masala chai. I told them I loved spicy food, and to please put lots of the mint-chili chutney on my wrap. They put quite a bit on, plus served some more on the side along with a little cup of raita. I was amazed a the delicious flavors, and so satisfied by my paratha wrap. Also, because I'd asked about biryani, I was given a sample of both the chicken biryani and the veg biryani. Both very tasty! The chai was hot and sweet and well-spiced. I really enjoyed everything, and will definitely be back to try more of Bombay Wrap's offerings.

Simply wonderful and exactly what we were looking for on Christmas Day! Gluten free options and delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful, helped us to adapt the menu to gluten free: we had the paneer tikka done on a thin omelette as a wrap. It was very flavorful- the omelette was made with fresh ground ginger, chilies, & garlic, and so creative to use an omelette as a wrap. We also got a chicken dish over rice that was incredibly flavorful and was my partner's favorite. The chai was delicious as well, and sugar was optional- each person could add if they wished- which is important for my partner as she can't eat sugar. To add to the goodness: the owner came and chatted with us and we learned it was her birthday. And that she had vowed to be open on Christmas Day to make sure people who want to eat out have a good option! I really recommend this place- great food, great value, great service.
(5)Mish M.
Great food and good quality on our takeout order. The sandwich wraps did not get soggy on the ride home. Very happy. The yogurt sauce is a little runny but tasty. I also loved how they labelled the sandwiches with a little piece of tape.. :) My only main minus point and this goes for most indian restaurants is the use of overabundance of styrofoam use. Also, I would call ahead for take out orders.

GOOD/ALRIGHT: Wraps, chutney and vada pav... BAD: Prices, all the chaats, premade reheated food and lassi The wraps were good but it's all premade stuff that was reheated. The chats and mango Lassi was a joke... I eat everything but I could not eat the chats cuaz they were that bad... The chutney used to make the wraps is good but overall did not get any bombay feel (except for the vada pav which was actually decent)... the prices are too high... The owner lady is sweet but when I tried to use my yelp diacount, she played it very smart and asked me to use it next time... a real business woman... Not the best expericne...
(2)Ken F.
The food is fresh, and made from scratch. Very good quality, and great tasting. I would especially recommend the Chicken Manchurian wrap. Lots of tender and flavorful chicken and veggies, spiced very nicely. Also recommended is the Unda Chicken Chapli. It used to have egg in it, which added greatly to the overall effect. Recently, an up-charge of $2 extra for the egg was added, which reduces my excitement for this one. On that note, their wraps are a great alternative to the burgers and other fast food fare, for just a bit more money. By comparison, the prices are perhaps a bit steep. Since I started coming here a few months ago, I have generally thought the quality has been worth the extra couple of bucks. Great stuff! Oh, yeah - try the Ussal Pav. It's a refreshing and unusual appetizer dish that's really tasty. I think it's only available on weekends, though.

It's a refreshing and unusual appetizer dish that's really tasty. I think it's only available on weekends, though.

I stumbled upon this place while shopping in the adjacent strip mall. Went in for a snack and tried the Aloo Wrap, which was prepared quickly. I thought it was absolutely delicious. It reminded me of a Samosa in wrap form. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

Bad management, unprofessional. Waited for 45 minutes for 2 simple dishes. Got meat in the vegetarian dish I ordered. Horrible service and deserves to be shut down. My rating : 0 Had to give it 1star since I couldn't give 0. I do not recommend this place.

The wraps are authentic Indian spices and are served on a Indian style bread. The Indian spice tea is also very good. Definitely try the lassi. The customer service is great as well.

This place has very yummy vada pav!! Totally Mumbai style. Usually come here for it. Also the sabudana vada is great. Should certainly give it a shot. The service is good and friendly.

Nice people that take great pride in their very fresh, on location hand made food. I don't quite understand the menu but I have ordered chicken and lamb dishes and the flavor has been great. It's hard to see from the road so don't drive past. It's worth the trip,

Achari chicken was superb. The lady at counter was sweet and the service is fast and good

We ordered 2 wraps and had to wait for 50 minutes to get them and there were only 4 other customers. The wraps tasted mediocre at best. I wouldn't dine there again.

45 minute wait is after ordering is unacceptable... Never Again

We ordered the egg wraps, paneer achari wrap and mango lassi. Awesome food. We will be back. Great customer service too and reasonably priced.
