Ordered the shrimp drunken noodles, the food and service were both excellent! definitely going back for more

Thank you, but I get my Thai fix from somewhere else. Their food was okay. Service wasn't bad either. But what really bummed us was a $7 charge on top of a $30 bill. When I asked our server about the charge, she said it's a service fee. Well, am all about good food and great service but adding hidden charges especially without any prior notice is totally ridiculous.

I had high hopes for this place. After writing a review of my favorite eastern suburban Thai place today. My taste buds and I (oh and my girlfriend too...can't forget about her) decided that Thai would spice up our night. Boy did we get it wrong with this place, the noodles were dry and they basically told us it was our fault our noodles were dry because we didn't eat it fast enough. Double thumbs down.
(1)Emma H.
Soup was good but my Pad Thai was just ok. Other Thai places in the area are better. Not as spicy as most too.
(2)Srinivasa Reddy J.
Visited again for lunch. Delicious food, excellent service. My favorite Thai restaurant in Canton after trying all 3 many times.
(4)Karen L.
Tried their food through carry out and I really, really liked it. Ordered Drunken Noodles and a curry dish. Medium was more like hot, but I like it that. (My husband wasn't thrilled about that surprise, though.) The broccoli in the noodle dish was over cooked but the flavored in both dishes were fantastic. Definitely going back for take out!

The food is excellent. My wife and I have tried a wide variety of Thai places in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Canton and the surrounding areas; Bangkok Flavor 2 is definitely in our top tier. The appetizers, soups, noodle dishes, curries and other entrees have always been fantastic. (The one exception is the bubble tea. The tea itself is fine, but the bubbles have no sweetness or other taste, and are just a bland, doughy disappointment.) There are no fountain soft drinks, though they do have water, hot tea, and Thai iced tea. The table service is hit and miss. Sometimes the service is slow, sometimes it's fine, and sometimes they go the extra mile (e.g. boxing/bagging your leftovers). The ambiance is generally fine, although the music tends to be loud and repetitive. The restrooms are usually fairly clean.

Probably one of the best Thai food in the Plymouth-Canton and Livonia area. I ordered a spring roll and Pad Khing. Both items were delicious. The Pad Khing tasted especially fresh. They add pea pods and water cashews to their Pad Khing, which is not normally in the Pad Khing at other Thai place. I love both pea pods and water chestnuts so it was a nice addition. The portions are a pretty generous. The meal was so good I almost wanted to eat it all in one sitting. The cash/ credit policy that other reviewers have commented surprises me if anyone is upset about it. They have a sign on the door as you enter, on every table, and signs are posted. They truly do not want you to be surprised. I did save $1.00 on my order for paying cash. I look forward to trying more things on their menu!
(5)Jack A.
Really good food!! The whole payment/cash gig is a little weird but the food makes you look past that. I get the curry pad Thai (not sure if it's on menu) and its some of the best I've ever had. I've tried other things that were also nice.
(4)Sherry K.
I have been Dying to try this place. I absolutely LOVE thai food !!! So I finally talked my husband into it. We had carryout Saturday. I ordered Drunken Noodles w/chicken, medium Spice, I ordered my husband Pad Thai w/chicken. Loved the décor, cute little place, People very nice there( I forgot about the discount when you pay cash though :o( ). When we got home my husband thought I ordered him the wrong dish( he insists that he ALWAYS gets Drunken noodles dish--not so--lol) As soon as he took a bite of the Pad Thai-- he LOVED it !!! My drunken noodles was the best ive ever had--better than Thai Bistro !! The chicken is sliced really thin and full of flavor. Only bad part is I might order way to OFTEN :o). I hope this place doesn't ever go out of business. LOVE IT !!!
(4)Jenn T.
Excellent food and great service. Very fast and convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone who is a fan of thai food! :)
(5)don l.
My second lunch and review ! Consistency please ! Portions go so much smaller ! And rice was definitely day old not spoiled but actually at room temperature ! Nothing beats still Bangkok 96 ! And their relatives !
(1)Ashbmail A.
Amazing place to have awesome thai food in Canton, MI area. The flavors are authentic thai and service is great. Ordered no.6 and no. 7, green and red curry respectively. We have tried masaman curry as well. Great place for vegeterians as well.
(5)Sarah R.
Tried this place for the first time today, ordered pad thai and spring rolls to go! First let me say how happy i am about the halal option, I asked for halal chicken, which is $1 extra but i did not mind at all! Order was hot and ready in 10 minutes, paid with cash so got 1$ off yay! Now the most important part, the food was great! Pad thai was perfectly seasoned and sauce was just enough, would love more eggs but i guess im just greedy lol! Spring rolls were very crispy and had glass noodles in the filling which is yum, it came with a sweet sauce that unlike other generic sauces had an orange hint which i really liked! I asked for chilli sauce on the side, it was more like a chilli oil and a little goes a loooong way! 1 more thing, i loved how my order was very neatly packed, no runny sauces, no soggy oily mess. And they use plastic not styrofoam containers. I will definitely be back!
(4)Nikki M.
Definitely coming back here again! I tried thai food for the first time today and it was a top notch experience all around! Our waitress who was very polite, attentive and personable. She started us off with some soup which spicy and hot temperature-wise, very nice on a winter day. I ordered the pan see ew with chicken medium and loved it. Btw, the medium is made with jalapeno peppers so I did get the sniffles but it was worth it! My friend ordered tofu pad Thai and seemed to enjoy it as he cleared his plate before I did mine lol! Plenty of other items I would love to try, especially the mango dessert! I've found a new favorite place in canton for sure!
(5)Rabiya L.
great lunch service, I don't like all the dishes, but I have my fav's Medium spicy is VERY spicy. usually a lunch is about $15 love the fact it's served with soup. talking about it makes me hungry for some ;) I don't like that they are closed Sundays. They do serve halal for extra $$ you have to request it. my Favs are Sesame Chicken, and veggie delight
(5)Snoopy L.
It's not a real Thai restaurant. Nobody, cook, owner, are Thai. So I ordered basic foods, shrimp fried rice, fried tofu, Thai tea. Sorry to say all disappointed. Fried rice was too sticky, fried tofu with wrong dipping sauce, Thai tea that I feel like it was made from powder not the real tea. Togo with no fish sauce for fried rice, no fork, no spoon, no napkins. 2 stars for nice service.
(2)Michelle T.
Ate there tonight for the first time it was really good I ordered garlic curry and my husband got the valve fried rice both were really good. We will definitely come back to try another dish out. Spring rolls were really great and it's nice to get two of them with one order. The only thing I wish they had fountain pop instead of cans of pop.
(5)Kristin C.
1st time eating here. Absolutely delicious! I had the Koong Houm Pa ( I wish I had gotten 2 orders cause my 3yr old loved them too) and the glass noodles with beef (seasoned perfectly) I am sooooo coming back!
(5)Kris A.
OK, this should be at least a 4.5 star, if I could do that. This place has continued to amaze me. Since it's opened I've tried: Pad Thai 3x (some of the best I've ever had) Pad See Ewe 1x (VERY good!) Drunken Noodles 2x (Easily the best I've had) Kow Pad 1x (this one was just OK. The fried rice had a strange taste I couldn't quite figure out.) Bankok Chicken 1x (also very tasty!) Angle Noodle 1x (I really like this, even though I steer away from Curry usually). Curry Fried Rice 1x (again, it was good. Very mild curry, it was almost like a saffron rice. Great Flavor!). Yes, I've eaten there a LOT. Multiple times in one day in many cases! I'm definitely getting my Thai fix! For each dish I've had a mixture of chicken, pork, or shrimp and all have been fantastic. I've also tried all of the appetizers and they were all good. I might shy away from the crab rangoon though. Too much rangoon and not enough filling. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is always of the highest quality. I'm glad they opened up so close to my house!
(4)Robert M.
Crispy chicken was very soggy and not spicy - asked for medium spice and it was bland at best.
(2)Kevin P.
It was my first time there and the food was wonderful. The place is small but cozy and they don't serve alcohol. The Pad Thai and shrimp fried rice was excellent. Only 2 small issues: First, their food is SPICY. If you want medium - ask for mild. If you want medium hot-ask for only medium. Next, they have a 3.5% surcharge for credit cards, but they do have a small discount for cash. Great place for Thai..
(4)Chelsea B.
My friend and I met for lunch today and since we are both huge Thai lovers we found this hidden restaurant in a strip next to generic food chains. Upon walking in we were informed we could seat ourselves anywhere. The decor was very nice with a few statues in the front and the general feel of the place was welcoming, wasn't loud or too quiet. I was surprised my friend and I were the only two people there at 2pm on a Friday but that's fine. One of the big reasons we choose this restaurant is because they offer bubble tea. I was slightly disappointed with the way it was made. More of an icy consistency too it then other Thai spots but I will say their spring rolls are amazing! They are thick meaning more of a bread to vegetable ratio, which was just fine by me! The plum sauce was mouthwatering, I even ordered two servings. Based off my one visit Bangkok Flavor 2 is okay, nothing spectacular but if I'm ever just passing through Canton I will come here again for more spring rolls and maybe an entree!
(3)Mary Y.
Deeeelicious! I've lived in Canton for a while now, and the other Thai just ain't cutting it. Tonight I stopped in since I haven't been able to navigate groceries up my icy walk for a few days. I had Pad Thai with Chicken, medium. I don't usually like it spicy but mamacita this was just right! The gentleman who delivered my order was as friendly as they come and an extra added bonus was that if you pay cash, you get $ off. Nice touch! I'll definitely be back and I'll dine in next time. Also? enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow, all for $7. Well worth it!
(5)Shirley H.
My fiancé and I decided to come check this place out last week and was happy with the service and food. I was reminded of a small cafe i used to work at, where the restaurant was ran by a daughter and mother. Since the drunken noodles were mentioned by other yelp reviews, I decided to try it out. I got the dish with chicken and a medium spiciness. The only thing I didn't like about the dish was the tiny pieces of ginger mixed in the dish. I absolutely HATE ginger and wasn't aware prior to ordering it was included in the dish. My fiancé got the pad thai with pork which tasted mediocre. The place was empty but the decorations in the restaurant really seemed to flow and was welcoming. We were the only ones eating in, but during the duration of our dinner, there were people getting take out. This restaurant was ok and may possibly be back one day.
(3)Amy C.
2.5 Take out for 9 people? No problem. Portion size? Huge! Price? Is right. Veggie Spring Rolls and Peanut Sauce. Yum. Chicken Satay? Kid friendly. Thai Salad? Lettuce filled and papaya-less so skip. Pad See Ew? Too salty. Pad Thai? Bland. Drunken Noodles? Sinus clearing. Red curry? Meh. Garlic curry? Yeah! Over ordered? Leftovers for days.

Location, location, location. Thank you Bangkok Flavor for opening up 1 mile from my house. This review is strictly based on take out. MENU- your typical Thai fare- curries, noodles. I can't say there was anything on this menu that I haven't seen on any other Thai joint. Pretty much any thing on the menu has the option of adding some protein (chicken, pork, beef, scollops, shrimp) or keeping it vegetarian. FOOD- I've tried many of their curries (Gang Gai, Panang, Masaman), and noodles (Pad thai, drunken noodles, pad see ewe). I personally like the masaman and pad see ewe the best. Thai basil fried rice is just ok (it's not on the menu, but they will make it for you). I've ordered the stuff mild mostly (my wife doesn't rock the spicy food), but when I have ordered it medium, it was more "peppery" spicy, which I don't care much for. OVERALL- they're close, they're reasonably priced (roughly $7 for lunch, $9-$10 for dinner entrees), I dig 'em. I don't think I'd eat there as they have all of 6 tables. Of course, since i live that close, why would I ever do so. Check it out. CELEBRITY RATING- Tony Jaa

Decided to try this place. Always looking for some good thai. Needless to say it was fabulous! Flavors were great and just the right amount of spice! Had the Drunken Noodles and Garlic Fried Rice; it was great not disappointed at all!
(5)Mario J.
Actually was impressed by that's place. Great service and good food. It's add good as it gets for Thai food. Good crab Rangoon, soup was light in shrimp buy I don't really care too much about that. Pay cash Dave 10% can't beat that!
(4)Tiffiny D.
I would say this place is def better than avg for thai food. We especially lived the Crab Rangoon.
(4)Jessica A.
Delicious food, super fast service! This place is small but mighty. I have tried almost all of the curry dishes now and I love everything! To-go food is packed nicely and ready within 15 minutes. Love this place!
(5)Brian W.
I went to this restaurant with low expectations. Almost composed my rant on Yelp even before I entered the restaurant. Wow ! My bad. This place has solid food. Best in the Canton area, hands-down. For an appetizer we had 'Koong Houm Pa' which is chicken with spices, wrapped in an spring roll wrapper and fried. It was good and very crispy. The flavor of the spices could have been a little bolder. For the entrees we had 'Pad Ped', 'Drunken noodles' and 'Shrimp Fried Rice'. "Pad Ped" - solid. Great flavor. Recommended ! "Drunken noodle" - Very good. I thought the garlic and ginger was too strong. On the flip side, my wife loved the strong ginger and garlic. "Shrimp Fried Rice" - Why is it that almost all Asian restaurants can't make good fried rice ? This restaurant is the exception. Their fried rice is very, very good. I recommend it very much. The amount of shrimp they use is very, very generous. My only comment, use shell-on shrimp and peel it. I understand it is much easier to use the already peeled, frozen shrimp. But the taste is far superior with shell-on. Decor - Simply decorated but nice. Service - The owner of the restaurant is the also the Chef. The Chef's mother waits on the tables. A very nice lady. With the previous comments made, there was only one negative one. Ignore the bad review. Give this restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed.
(4)John L.
Great food I loved the environment. I enjoyed taking the wife and kids there. They were very polite. I definitely will be back.
(5)Jess Y.
Not bad. Willing to give it another try. I ordered spring rolls: heavely! Very crispy and fresh! I got a side of peanut sauce with this, PEANUT SAUCE IS A MUST! I wanted to dip everything in it, hell, I wanted to live in that sauce! I also got the drunken noodle and cashew chicken. Very good portion sizes of each. Both light on the meat of choice. Drunken noodle (med): Holy salt! Spice level was right, but in combination with the salt thats really all you can get in flavor and I really hoping for more sweetness/more thai basil. Cashew chicken (med) a little funky smell/taste, probably comming from the canned water chesnuts and bamboo shoots. My husband hated it, I thought it was okay. I'd probably pick something else Lastly we split a bubble tea. Bubble tea around the corner from my house! Well... for some reason it had huge chunks of ice in it, and with the big straw i bit into a few pieces.... ouch. Looks like I'm still driving to Ann Arbor for that. I appreciate the fast service, friendly staff. Overall I think i'll try it again, good thai if hard to find around here.
(3)Allison R.
I've eaten here many times and the pad see ew is my favorite. I've had the drunken noodles, panang curry, fried tofu, crab Rangoon and fresh rolls. All delicious. There is nothing I've been disappointed with.
(5)Kdog K.
Best Thai Food in Canton!
(4)R D.
I had #4, Cashews with Chicken, 'Thai Hot'. I always order Thai food at it's hottest available spiciness, this was hands down the hottest I've ever had. The roof of my mouth was throbbing by the time I left, and my eyes were watering. It had great flavor, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. If you're only in Canton for awhile and you're searching for a great Thai place like I was an hour ago, look no further.
(5)Samantha Y.
This place has everything you would want in a small family owned restaurant. When you walk in their decor is just so cute and you could tell the owners put a lot of work and time into it. The service was really nice and friendly. I felt just at home with the service they provided. As for the food they hit all the spices just about right, whether you're looking for flavor or temperature it def is my go to place when I'm in town and will def miss it when I'm in California.
(5)Tori M.
I love this place! I worked at a Thai restaurant for 5 years and I never thought that I could find Thai food that was comparable but I just moved down the street from this place and had to give it a try...Now I've been there a few times and I can say that this place is consistently delicious. My favorites: Curry fried rice Drunken noodles Thai iced tea They also have a great red coconut curry sauce The medium was a little spicier than other Thai places I've been to so next time I'm going to just do mild plus. One time I didn't have the best service but no huge complaints; overall this place is awesome!
(4)Rachel M.
I ordered take-out, but the restaurant looked nice and clean. I got 3 different entrees, spring rolls, and a Thai salad. The Thai salad isn't very exciting, not worth ordering. The spring rolls were amazing!! I ordered Pad Thai for my husband and I don't even like Pad Thai, but it was amazing!!!! We ordered medium everything and it was plenty spicy. My lips almost burnt off with the cashew chicken, but it was worth it! They also have "bubble" (boba) tea, which is a favorite of mine. Definitely try this place, but be prepared to sweat, everything on the menu is spicy!!!
(5)Alisa O.
I ordered tofu Pad Thai here and the portions were great - especially for the low price. The spice was also correct for medium, which can be difficult for some restaurants. Staff was also fine. However, the actual dish was quite flavorless with runny sauce and over-boiled noodles. I'll probably not return when there's Thai Cafe up in Plymouth. I would even drive out to Thai Thai in Ypsilanti if I had to have Thai food
(3)George H.
This place really is 'as good as it gets' when it comes to Thai food in this area. I have been there way too many times in the past 2 weeks than I should admit. They just opened and I've probably been there more times in two weeks than I have been to the Subway next-door in 6 years. It's brand new and inside looks very calming and beautiful. The service is extremely friendly. The food is delicious, hot, spicy and the food is always ready 7-10 minutes after you order. Every experience has been just wonderful. I have not tried everything on the menu yet but that's because I fell in love with a few dishes that I can't stop eating. Their sauces are thick. Spices are HOT! And better than that, the food is always temperature-hot when I receive it. I absolutely LOVE that. My favorite dishes, in order: Gang Gai (med/med+) my favorite! Pad Thai w/chicken or beef (med) Drunken Noodle (med) Gang Garee (med) I have tried a couple other dishes, but my choices are always going to be the Gang Gai or Pad Thai from now on, depending if I want a rice dish (Gang Gai) or noodle dish (Pad Thai). Their "medium" spice is hotter to me than at some other places, but I have since moved up to "medium +" on the Gang Gai. I can't say a negative thing about this place except for the fact they're closed on Sundays - which happens to be the day I'm craving Thai food the most. ;) Otherwise, pure perfection, in my opinion.
(5)Matthew T.
This is easily the best Thai in Canton. We got the chicken pad thai and chicken drunken noodles the first time and fell in love. Tons of flavor, fresh ingredients, competitive prices and decent portion sizes. Mild is spicy enough if you like a little heat. Medium has plenty of bite. The second time we went, we planned to branch out and try something different, but we couldn't resist the pad thai and drunken noodles and got them again. Try this place. It's great!
(5)Scott B.
I have eaten at this restaurant many times and on each occasion I have not been disappointed. Portion size is perfect and the spiciness is right on. Very friendly staff and the price is right. I recommend to anyone that asks about a great Thai place.
(5)Jack M.
I picked up a carry-out yesterday and am giving it a solid 4!! Ordered 3 meals and all were very fresh and flavorful. Solid Thai Food in the SouthCanton area. The restaurant was very new and clean and the staff was friendly I am not in that area very often but when I am I will make it a point to stop in for lunch or a carry-out.
(4)Stephannie W.
Good food, quick service, pleasant staff. I had Pad Cashew with Beef, medium +, which was pretty hot. The price for my dish was $3 less than at my standard go-to Thai restaurants, though the portion was a little smaller. Overall, thumbs up.
(4)Valarie M.
Got take out tonight and it was delish! The portions were plentiful and the meals tasted extremely fresh. We ordered the chicken satay that my 7 year old son loved, as well as their beef fried rice! My boyfriend got the gang garee and tofu fried rice. He enjoyed the rice and entree. His only complaint (and mine) was that the spicy levels were a bit misleading. I ordered medium spice and it tasted very spicy and my bf ordered it medium plus and it was super spicy! He loves spicy foods but this was even a tad too spicy for him. My suggestion when ordering spice levels here is to start one level lower than you normally would and if it's not bad go up from there :) I ordered the cashew beef. The veggies in it were big and fresh but there could've been a lot more beef for my taste. It's flavor was ok in my opinion but I didn't deduct stars for this because I simply think I chose the wrong dish. The green peppers were a bit too overpowering in it for my taste. The decor was decent and it was very clean and tidy inside when I picked up my order. The two girls working the front were friendly and polite. My only other complaint is that since we ordered take out I expected disposable silverware and napkins and we weren't provided any. It was inconvenient because we happen to be staying in a hotel. Just a minor issue that could be tweaked rather easily! All in all this place has my whole family's approval ( which is awesome)! We live in the area and I'm positive we will eat here again.
(4)Bill S.
Wow, a Thai Resturant that serves some really flavorful dishes. I tried the Drunken Noodle with shrimp, HOT. Man this dish was packed with flavor. The broccoli and green peppers were sautéed just right. I wish the dish had more carrots and tomatoes. The noodles and sauce were outstanding. The shrimp were medium sized with the tails on. If you are not a fan of HOT and Spicy food you better order this dish medium or even mild. I also tried the Sweet and Sour Chicken. This dish was also very flavorful but needed more chicken. I'll have to visit a few more times before I give 5 stars but the 4 star rating I gave is a solid 4.
(4)Karen W.
Delicious surprise. Traveling for the holiday, we stopped in for dinner. Perfect service. Crazy busy with takeout on a Saturday night, this little treasure was hopping. Pad Thai tangy and fresh. Spring rolls hand made and delicious. Return for sure!
(4)Mike D.
I had takeout beef masaman, spice level hot (as they claim, hot as a habanero pepper, which it thankfully was). My mouth was burning the entire time and it was nice. I was amazed by the sweet tasting carrot slices that complimented the dish, which was different than other masaman I've had, a nice addition. I also has a spring roll, that was nice and crispy. The stuffing was a little lacking, and I forgot to request a side of peanut sauce which is nice with it.
(3)L S.
I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday. I enjoyed the drunken noodles very much and my wife loved the pad see ewe. The spring rolls were not bad, but the chicken satay was a bit disappointing. The satay was apparently deep-fried rather than grilled, and was very much underseasoned as was the cucumber sauce, but the peanut sauce was pretty good. On the opposite end of the seasoning spectrum, the aforementioned drunken noodles were great. Very good flavors of what seemed to be anise, cilantro, Thai basil, and lemongrass. On top of that, the medium spiciness level was much stronger than medium at other similar restaurants. I've referred to that amount of spiciness before as "Thai medium", which is what people from Thailand would consider medium. I can tolerate that amount of spice with no problem and it wasn't unexpected, but other patrons will want to that that into consideration when placing orders. Either expect it to be spicier than you're accustomed or order the food a little less spicy than usual. Overall, the drawbacks are minor and I plan to be a repeat customer.

If Sheldon Cooper, Raj, Penny, Howard, and Leonard ever had to leave the weakass state of Cali into the greener pastures of Pure Michigan Baby, I feel that Bangkok Flavor 2 aka BangFlavDuece is where those Cali scientists would flock for Thai that ROCKS!!! I ordered take out. It was ready right when I came in....lightning fast. I love that! The Pad See Ew was great in taste. Perfectly cooked noodles and beef with good flavor. Nice Brocolli and bean sprouts mixed in with egg. Pefect combo of textures and flavors. My only flaw was ordering it in their hottest option. It was obnoxiously hot. If you like spicy, order medium or the one above it, don't order Thai Hot. Their "Thai Hot" isn't real Thai Hot,......it is a new punishment used against potential terrorists at Guantanimo, so f-n hot, but with that being said, I still ate the whole order and was craving more because the food was sooooo damn tasty. If you do wanna pull an act of machismo and get the "9-11 death hot," make sure you have a lot of choocolate milk nearby. PS - your nose will be running more than a University of Wisconsin offense man. I will be back and back again, these good people know about Thai Flavors, but I won't order their spiciest option. I love kink in the bedroom, but not in my takeout. Keep the pain away from the mouth, lol. I hope they make Lard Na soon, I bet their interpritation will be great. I have a feeling man, that this IS the best Thai spot in Canton though! Keep up the good work!
(4)Jan S.
I got drunken noodle as a carry out. It wasn't horrible, but I've had better. The noodles were well cooked (not mushy) and held the sauce well. However, the chicken was sparse and despite the menu stating that the dish contains red pepper and pea pods, there were none. I've never seen a drunken noodle dish that did have these items so I was actually excited to get it, only to be disappointed. I think I saw some other reviews state that their dishes seem to run a bit hotter than other Thai restaurants. Based on my dish, I would agree with that so you may want to try one notch down than the usual if it's your first time here.
(2)Doctor M.
Very tasty good and fair service. The place was clean and the menu was fairly diverse. I would like to go there again.
(4)Anoop S.
This unassuming place is easily one of the best Thai places in the metro Detroit area. The food isn't greasy and the flavors are balanced. The Pattani (red curry with cashews) and the Pad Thai are my favorite. The food is fresh, there are a lot of vegetarian options, prices are affordable, and the folks that run this restaurant are very friendly.
(5)Karen S.
Love this place . Great food ,nice owners ,my new fav Thai food...
(5)Gwen J.
I was skeptical about going in because I'm a vegan so I didn't think they would have a vegan menu, because a lot of Thai restaurant don't usually cater to vegans. And when they do, it doesn't taste very good. so I walk in just to check it out, grab a menu and one of the workers there was so helpful, she told me I can get anything vegan on the menu so I decided to give them a try. I got the pad thai veggie no egg mild and my boyfriend order the gang gai veggie medium. I have to say that I am very impressed. This place is one of the best I've ever had. On top of that their price is pretty cheap, $6.95 for lunch and $8.95 for dinner? That's a deal for me versus a couple thai places around here that I know charge much higher. I am definitely coming back here. This could possibly be a new favorite place for me.
(5)Matthew L.
I actually think this is probably the best Thai food in the Canton area and I would highly recommend the Pad Thai and the Bangkok Chicken. I come here all the time. Also, you can get coupons for % off your entire order right on their website!
(5)Jay B.
This is our new favorite Thai place. Since we discovered it about two months ago, we've gotten one take-out and dined in three times. I'm not an adventurous Thai food eater, so I can only judge the Pad Thai with chicken. Mild-plus was perfectly spicy for me, though I typically order Medium spicy at the places a mile to the north. Prices are reasonable. Service is polite, friendly and attentive. You do have to ask for knives and straws every time, though. Maybe it's a cultural thing?
(5)Isha G.
Good food , very convenient and quick service. Make sure to order mild because medium hot is very hot!

had read their menu and decided to skip subway and give their broccoli / tofu in garlic sauce a try. extremely quick for lunch. only got the basic entree with no add ins like egg roll, soup or fortune cookie. think it was $6.95 liked that it came with white rice not fried. it was med. hot but tolerable. i missed the sweetness of chinese broc and garlic sauce so added duck sauce when i got home. it was average, and not sure i would return. maybe look for something i like better

Ordered chicken pad Thai at the top level of spice "Thai spicy" and crab Rangoon. The pad Thai was crazy spicy, reduced me to tears which is exactly what I was looking for. It was the best pad Thai I've had in this area. The crab Rangoon wasnt bad but it want great either. I got take out so this may have been a factor, it want particularly crunchy. The main issue with the Rangoon was the filling, it was very concentrated in the middle and light on the crab to cream cheese ratio.

I have been looking forward to trying this new Thai restaurant in Canton, and I was not disappointed. I ordered Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles as carry out tonight and I was very impressed with both. I used to go to Thai Bistro all the time, but I am going to switch to this place. The staff are very nice and welcoming. The decor is very nice and everything looks fresh and clean. My food came out fast and incredibly hot (temperature wise). I ordered both dishes in medium and they were pretty spicy, so just keep that in mind. Overall, I really hope this place gets lots of business and sticks around! Try it!

Tried the pad Thai and drinkin noodles/pakeemao. Both very not impressive. Would not get these again. My friend got a fish dish with egg plant which was really good. Other friend got garlic fried rice, she said it was good too. In general, try to stay away from the noodles and stick to the main dishes or fried rice dishes

The soup was fantastic! We had the Tom Khai, which is the one with coconut milk and baby corn and it was one of the best soups I've had in a while! I had the garlic curry with chicken and that was good too. My boyfriend had the masaman with pork and it was pretty good too, it had more spice and veggies but they're basically the same dish. The entrees didn't really stand out though, everything we had seemed to have the same flavor profile. It was good but nothing exceptional about the entrees. Make sure you pay in cash because there's an extra charge on your bill if you don't and if you pay in cash you get $1 off for every $10 you spend!
