The service was really great. The owner & his wife went out of their way to make sure I was pleased with my food. The get their meat from Dearborn Meats so the quality of their coneys are excellent. The price is right, the quality is great & the service is what you'd expect from a new start-up. I have no complaints at all.

Dear god! This has to be the worst diner/coney... Maybe restaurant food, I've ever had. Hands down. Everything is at least a week old, and then reheated for your pleasure. They served me a brown "salad" made of only lettuce and two very soggy olives. The chicken on top was dry, almost like a jerky if jerky could smell like wet dog. This was the same chicken in everything. I will never go back. Sorry I went in the first place. Don't waste your money!

Blah! This is not your average Coney Island. It's more of a fast food type place...only problem is they are not fast! The food is all pre made and the menu is very limited. Very over priced for what you get. I've gone through the drive thru a few times and I always regret it. It's run by a bunch of teenagers who don't know what they are doing. I won't ever be returning after this last disappointing and overpriced order.

I visited this place for the first time. I was surprised by the atmosphere. I thought I was going into a Coney Island sitdown restaurant where they would come to the table and take your order. But it's really more like a McDonald's. They have a drive through window. You come in and place your order at the counter. And take your food to your table. They were very friendly. Actually overly friendly. The food and pricing was typical of other Coney Island places. No complaints. But the only reason I would go back is if I just had a taste for a Coney Island.

Have seen this place change names a few times, figured we'd give it a shot for breakfast. I had the omelette, well priced at 2.99 and 40c for each item you put in it. It was fresh, with raw tomatoes and onions, if you like it that way..I prefer my stuff grilled and mixed in with the eggs (not many places make it that way unf). My daughter got French toast, which came with 3 slices..it was good. My son had pancakes..you get like 6 decent sized ones..they were o k..like the common box made ones you get most places. The sausage tastes weird..we didn't like it. The guy that served us was nice..I am gonna guess he's the owner. Very attentive to our needs. Always appreciated.

You will never find this place unless you know where it exactly is. It's kind of hidden behind other businesses. No worries this is not really worth the effort. The coneys are good, snappy. The onion is a bit too finely chopped to have much of a presence though so ask for extra and you will be golden. The dogs are solid. The rest of it? Meh. Pricing is very a' la carte. You will not find your typical coney, fry and pop or two coneys, fry and pop deals. The fries are not crisp, they need to check the temp of the oil or something. The late June day I visited there was no A/C so dining in was not a happy option. I had a fry in the car though right after I left the building and they were not crisp fresh, never mind after trucking them to Belleville. The atmosphere is not really much for dining in so I was not super bitter. The menu is all based around the hot dog bun, dogs and loose burgers, they even have breakfast items served in them. It just is not a place for anyone not a rabid coney fan, so that means I will never bring James but I may take some to my dad sometime. Basically I say either go downtown and feast or just stick with coneys to go solo.

Came here a couple weeks ago with a Coney hankering and a long wait at L George's down the street. I was solo, so I figured, why not American eh? I should've waited at L George's. The restaurant itself is okay looking, everything is pretty new and clean... but you can just tell everything was kind of haphazardly thrown together. You order at the counter and they call your number when your food is ready. The two coneys and side of fries i had were oddly lukewarm... maybe it sat in the window too long, I don't know... but really, how can you screw up fries when i'm the only customer in the entire vicinity? I guess the chili is most likely the same as American in downtown... but there's a reason why downtown American Coney is popular and better... their employees care and everything is hot and fresh. Maybe they opened this location to launder money ala Breaking Bad. I dunno. I just don't get how they can provide this mediocre to bad experience when their downtown location is reputable? Overall, the food is blah, the atmosphere ok if you're a high schooler looking for someone your own age to flirt with, and i guess one star for having same price for a coney as L Georges... but if you are considering coming here, i might recommend the KFC/Taco Bell next door more than this place.
