Appetizers and drinks were great, service was fast for a table of 8, entrees were good. Really likes the atmosphere, great outdoor patio!

So bad. The food was ok, but the service was beyond terrible. Had a 7:00 reservation, didn't get our food until 9:00, and it wasn't busy at all. Server was slow, clumsy, and uninformed.

Lunch was nothing special. It was a very tiny menu with only a few choices for actual entrées if you didn't want to do the appetizers. You didn't even have the option to order from the dinner menu which Is where the good food is! Chips and salsa were eh. Got a lot of broken chips. Dinner was pretty good! The brisket was amazing! Shrimp tacos were eh. The fajitas were amazing! You got a huge amount of veggies and steak! The resturant was pretty on the inside. Mexican flair was pretty. No spanish music the whole time we were the for lunch and maybe 10 minutes during dinner. As much as I like Nickki Minaj, I love going to Spanish Restaurants for the music! The menus were pieces of paper that looked like they had already seen a lot. Overall: I will definitely be back! Not for lunch though. Brisket was amazing!

I'm not sure when to try and go to this place, they've been closed in the middle of the day the last two times we've tried, though the hours say open until 2:00am. We've tried at 5:00pm on a Saturday and 7:00pm on a Friday the doors were shit without any signs. What's going on? I was so looking forward to trying Agave!

Tough for me to give Five Stars to any restaurant, maybe because I travel so much and eat out four to five nights a week. Last night I had at home and the opportunity to check out a new restaurant. Joined by my wife, daughter and first grandchild we decided to give Agave a go. Wow! Agave will for sure make the repeat list which is rare. Decor is very Southwestern and tastefully done. The waiter and table side server were very attentive and informative providing excellent service. We started with a round of their specialty margaritas, the Apple Cider Margarita and the Cucurrucucu and an iced cold Tecate beer. For appetizers we ordered the Baked Goat Cheese and the Agave Wings (Bone-in chicken wings with tequila lime sauce which amazing and the Guacamole (Haas avocados, lime, onion, garlic, kosher salt, cilantro, crisp corn chips) prepared table-side was very impressive. I consider myself a Guacamole connoisseur and with that said this was pretty damn good. The tequila sauce for the wings was excellent. For the main entrees we decided to share the Carne Asada Fajitas and the Brisket Rojo Enchilada. I love to eat and anytime I have something left on my plate it's not a good sign for the restaurant (really bad) or in this case so good and so much that I had to take it home. Well tonight it's leftovers from Agave. Finally a great Southwestern restaurant outside of Phoenix. Agave gets my vote as the best new bar and grill in the areas, and trust me I have been to most of them. I can't wait until I get back in town to try the Jalapeño Poppers (table beside was raving about them) and the Crab Enchiladas. Buen apetito!

What a nice change of pace for Mexican food in the area. The small plates were delicious and the crab enchiladas were to die for. My hubby was a fan of the house made jalapeno poppers (Not of the deep fried bag kind) but made from fresh peppers stuffed with cheese and sitting on a bed of chorizo. And let me tell you they were SPICY! Which worked out since the in house drinks helped cool down the spice. The Mission was my favorite and the hubbys was the Pancho Villa. Can't go wrong here!!

Made reservations for a Saturday night, assuming they'd be needed, only to show up to a nearly empty restaurant. The server was very polite but offered little in the form of guidance and didn't seem to have any opinions or in depth knowledge of their offerings. Ordered a margarita which was just ok. For some reason the majority of the margaritas are made with cinnamon which is odd but I thought I'd roll with it. Ordered steak fajitas and after about 10 minutes the waiter sheepishly informed us they were out of steak. How they could run out of steak on a Saturday night, when the restaurant was nearly empty, is baffling. We took the bill and finished the night at a different mexican restaurant down the street where they actually had food to serve their customers. I'd be amazed if there isn't a "Available for Lease" sign in their window within the next six months.

My husband & I dropped in to this new restaurant on a whim. It's newly established in a mall on Ford Rd. Previous site of TC Gators-same owner, new venue. Greeted by helpful staff, hip tile bar, glass pendant lights. Food was excellent, fresh made not microwaved, w/Southwestern flair. Classic margaritas were laced w/lime syrup making them tangy & citrusy-refreshing! We chose a plate of 3 tacos-chicken tinga, mahi mahi, & tequila shrimp. Would highly recommend the rum baked beans-black beans. The only downside was the slower service because the chefs were adjusting to the new menu. But definitely worth waiting for. The owner is also planning a wine bar/sports bar for the adjacent storefront. There will also be an entertainment venue in the future. Stop by-you won't be disappointed

Tried it again after I said I would not go back. The food was just as bad the second time around. There are much better restaurants in and around Canton. This establishment will not last long!!

We tried this place with some friends Friday night so we had a table of six. I know this place is new but they really don't seem ready. While we were there their menus were not ready yet, the didn't have tequila menus or tequila flights yet. We ordered table side guacamole and they were also out of that. Chips and salsa were good but salsa comes out in very small cups and neither the salsa or chips were refilled. Two of the ladies in our group ordered rum punch but had to send it back because it tasted very in sweet. My beers on tap were good as was my street tacos. My wife ordered the beef brisket quesadillas and they were very tasty as well. I tried one piece of the chicken from the fajita and it had a good flavor as well. Overall I will give this place another try in a few months when the bugs get worked out. The atmosphere was nice and the bar looked like a nice place to have some drinks.

I'm going to have to try Agave again to explore the menu as I was disappointed by what I ordered for the value. I figured I'd have the street tacos and my friend ordered the chicken tinga tacos. The presentation was fantastic but easily overlooked by the surprise of the portions. 3 of the tiniest tacos I've ever seen without the word mini placed in front of them per plate. My friend's contained a cream sauce not specified on the menu that she could not eat due to allergy. I hope other items on the menu will tempt me back and will prove to be worth the price put to them.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
