Stopped on our way back downstate. Great food and service. I had the Cesar salad and my husband had the shrimp basket. Nice view of the golf course.

I have good memories of this place, and the decor and building setting gave me moderately high expectations. They weren't met. I had called in a takeout order for a picnic with friends and I clearly had the comparably worse dinner. I ordered the Beer Battered Mushrooms and while the actual batter was decent, there was at least twice as much of the breading as mushroom inside. They also were mushy inside as the thick batter hadn't cooked all the way through. I also ordered to Seafood Alfredo. The sauce itself was good, but the fettuccine was so overcooked that it was mush. I couldn't even swirl the pasta around my fork because it would just break. There was also the bare minimum of seafood required in order to call the dish a "seafood" dish. There were literally two pieces of shrimp and a handful of crab chunks. I was also supposed to get a side Caesar salad, which I was charged a fee for instead of just getting a garden salad, but when I arrived at my picnic and looked in the bag, low and behold there was no salad at all. Overall, I was not impressed. I'm giving them a total of two stars just because the atmosphere and giant windows would be an enjoyable place to eat, but my takeout experience was not great.

Cadillac Grill was by far, my worst restaurant experience ever. From the moment my wife was asked if she wanted green beans instead of soup or salad for her starter, to being over charged for the soup and the manager refusing to fix the mistake. To start with, I ordered the chicken marsala and my wife ordered a chicken lemon pasta both with the clam chowder. The clam chowder was clearly Campbell's soup with pieces of imatation krab and chives to "fancy it up". I knew the marsala was going to be different but didn't think it would be what it was. It was THE MOST overcooked chicken I've ever eaten in my life. I think they were trying to punish it for being raw at one point. The marsala sauce was a brown gravy with a little marsala wine mixed in. The mashed potatoes were those instant flake ones you get at the dollar store. Why would anyone willingly pay $16 for this?? My wife's meal fared no better. Her pasta was overcooked to the point of falling apart. The sauce was an oil based sauce that just left your mouth coated in oil. The chicken in that was the same with mine, overcooked beyond belief. The asparagus was mushy... have you ever had mushy asparagus?!? We ended up having to pay $45 for the meal that should have cost the price of a cheap buffet (if that). This was an insult to the people coming out to visit. I hate people who are all "entitled" to everything but when you pay $45 you should get something equal to or greater than that. Upon giving us the bill, our server didn't even ask why most of our food was left uneaten (probably because she knew how terrible it was) This made me sad about visiting Cadillac. #notfood #dontchargemeforcannedsoup #dobetter

The menu is pretty simple, the food is pretty good, and the prices are fair. It's a safe choice especially for a business lunch, since it's nice and quiet and the chairs are very comfortable.
